All our robes are made to measure and by hand, the embroideries are own design following the guidelines of the Order and are embroidered with premium threads by a profesional embroiderer. The fabric we use is almost nothing wrinkle, can be ironed, can be machine washed 30° and it mantains the colors perfectly... It is the same one that is used in the religious brotherhoods of the Spain Easter Holiday for decades. Here’s an offering plate I made, exactly 10 years ago :D.  My ability to draw the Daemon seals has improved since then LOL. I thought I’d show the photo to encourage folks to make things and do things! Obviously not a copy of what me or anyone else does, but your own unique style and creative ideas. It doesn’t have to be an offering plate, or a plate, or painted, it can be however you want to express your magic and your creativety. Though, you would want to first ask whichever spirit you are working with if they like the idea of what you have in mind, and what suggestions they may have. Their suggestions are always pretty epic and you do tend to learn a lot when asking the Daemons and Deities how to make things. 

Though also keep in mind that the items we make are expressions of how we work, and how we see things. They are not how the path should be worked for others necessarily. So many forget this part, and try to go around telling others that what they made up last week, or last year, is how things should be done. Also, sometimes when one person writes about a neat technique that they think is pretty awesome, suddenly 100 people want to copy that idea and create a whole new practice from it.... I’ll resist giving examples here, but I’m sure everyone can think of a few things which come to mind!

So today I've been experimenting again making my own ink. . This gorgous mixture is the beginnings of soot ink. I've been grinding it for about an hour and a half so far, and it needs at least another hour and a half. Having s little break now but I'll be back at it this evening. . The mixture contains 1/2 cup soot (gathered from my living room chimney), 1/2 cup moon water (from Mays Flower Moon), 1 teaspoon agarve powder (vegan gelatine), the remnants of 'letting go of the past' spell I did This afternoon, a and a few drops of the new essential oil I got in this month's @witchcasketuk which arrived today . Okay I know the default wolf pose has a neutral expression so I want to explain to you all Enit’s personality a little bit. I mean I picked Keen as her personality because it means sharp, shrewd, etc but like...how she acts?

She’s like, Jack Skellington meets Michael (from the Good Place) though maybe a tad bit more dignified rather than all bubbly, you know what I mean? She wants to know EVERYTHING about this world the wolves live in, and her brain is like, always going “What’s this? What’s THIS?” at everything because it’s so gosh-darn interesting! She also like’s dead things and once we have bone and skull decor she’s getting it, because she thinks it’s So Neat! that living mortal creatures have like, structures inside of them to keep their insides in the right places! And then Insects! Have structures OUTSIDE of them to keep their insides in the right places! Fascinating!

That also means that while she really is trying her best to keep her wolf pack happy, fed, etc, sometimes she’s just like - what if I do this? Hm? What if I do THIS? HM? Which means she’s paired odd wolves with Pietro, chased away the pups when they were little, wondered if the mother wolf’s sadness was going to cause problems and then did a little magickcraft to make the sadness (and memories?) go away because oh no winter was coming and apparently her pack needed to physically prepare for that?

Does that make sense? Very rambly, I know I’m sorry. I just love Enit and I love her curiosity of the world. She’s also all shades of moral gray because like, mortal morality doesn’t mean anything to her. She doesn’t get it.

Magical Correspondences: Liatris Spicata aka Dense Blazing Star aka Prairie Gay Feather

So recently, I decided that I wanted to start magickcrafting again. I have some dried Dense Blazing Star that came from a birthday bouquet that my spouse gave me in 2016 and I wanted to incorporate it into a smudge stick. Guess what? Dense Blazing Star is not found in any correspondence literature that I could find. My father’s people, the Cherokee, use it for medicine so I think of it as a healing plant. Using that as a guiding principle, I looked up the correspondences for it’s properties. Prairie Gay Flower  is a native grower throughout the US and Canada, blooms mid to late summer, and blooms from top to bottom unlike other plants. It is often planted in gardens to attract hummingbirds and butterflies. It has recently become popular for florists to use, but grows freely on the plains of North America.  Looking at it’s properties (colors, blooming time, shape, and purposes,) I have developed the following correspondences for Liatris Spicata aka Dense Blazing Star aka Prairie Gay Flower: -Air -Balance -Beauty -Butterflies -Fairies -Feminine -Fire -Freedom -Happiness -Healing -Hummingbirds -Independence -Leo -Libra -Love -Medicine -Release -Self-love -Self care -Sovereignty -Spirits -Sun -Transformation -Travel -Venus
