I’m so glad I started to listen to Star Trek audio dramas. The silver age comic levels of whimsy and shenanigans in them is incredible.

#there was a magic race from Atlantis trapped in time that were trapped by a cosmic baby that was looking for its mother (the sun)#and not only that the baby was stopped (it was made time stop and that’s VERY bad) by forcing the memories of that magic race’s culture #and also later the entirety of Vulcan culture (one of the oldest races ever and added billions of new minds into the spell)#which is WILD to think that the oldest race only adds billions of minds into the fray.#they learn at the end that the magic race was the Lost City of Atlantis and Spock and McCoy never stopped bickering #it was the best and I forgot how much I missed old audio dramas like this with near absurdist plots #bones writes in the tags #bones speaks #Star Trek #the audio drama I listened to was made by Power Records and the title was The Time Stealer

depression is really weird actually wdym i spent 2.5 years of my life in bed

#and wdym that lifestyle changed so quickly into being out and about and an active member of the world??#very proud of myself #and i mean it wasn't that quick of a change #it was like 1.5 years primarily depression bedrotting with occasional school -> primarily depression bedrotting ->#primarily depression bedrotting with 3-9 hours of work weekly -> straight into 31+ hours school+9-12 hours work weekly #so there was somewhat of a gradual progression #but still #also wowza i wake up 7-7:30am every morning now. 1pm was an early wake up for a not so insignificant amount of time #i mean of all fundamental growth years to miss out on the ages like what 12/13-15 aren't too bad? they would suck in a different way if i #had been socially involved #anyway it's just. yea i'm proud of myself but it is a crazy lifestyle change #and even when i was deeply depressed in a horrible routine i feel like i learned a lot. how to regulate my emotions and cope well and find #the joy in everything. bc if i stayed in bed all day then i would at least be happy about the sun or whatever #and for the while of being not at school at all i WANTED to be at school i just could not find one bc our school system is so cute like tha #(basically every school is at capacity and the local school that has a guaranteed place for me would have been an all boys or girls 😭)#but i miraculously found and got into this school and miraculously made it work so well for me socially and now academically #it's also a good time to get back into school for my education bc any later and it woulda been pretty bad for all my certifications and uni #ive missed out on so much maths that its not worth it to me to try and catch up but my teacher knows that #but ive always hated maths regardless i only ever understood it for the first half of yr 7 then my attendance dropped #and after my recent exam i decided to try harder at school. but i still got an A on the exam i didn't study for!! academic weapon fr #i'm just idk thinking back to myself in the past few years #and how hopeless it all felt. but i got out of it!! i beat the depression and social anxiety and found a good place and made the most of it #and during the peak of my depression i remember i went out someplace near my old school and panicked so so badly about seeing #kids from my old school. and the friends at the time didnt really check on me when i went to shake and cry in a side street lmao #i kept the best of that friendgroup and have better friends now. but anyway now i take a bus each morning with some kids from my old school #and you see these hands? they look like they're shaking to you?#anyway yeah it's just cool i got to this point :) i really had no hope for so long but now i have a life i'm living and a future i'm build #--ing towards #which is funny i just decided some random day last november after watching some better call saul 'huh actually lawyer would b pretty cool'#and will i get there? we'll see but i do have hope now

thinking about ray x zelda or just ray & zelda in general is so wild . he's known her soul from the very beginning of the world . she's been family to him , he's been a friend , she's been his princess that he swore to protect when going to knighthood , he's been her enemy , hes killed her . he's loved her , they've been married , they have been so much ??? similar to link & zelda knowing each other life over life but it's the same ray every single time . he contains so many versions of her lives in his mind &. heart .

he has to watch this cycle happen to someone he once cared about so much until he grew to hate her . their relationship deteriorates over decades upons decades of repeating but he still , in the end , cares for the person he once knew as a friend or a lover , he just had grown to hate what she represents now . a dead kingdom he once loved . pushing blame onto her cause he can't handle it but in the end

the cinema in town is putting on a pride event next saturday.....i'm gonna go!!! i'm really excited because i love the cinema and it makes me really happy that they are putting on a pride event!!

#the wretched gremlin strikes again #i wasn't sure if the small rural town i live near would do anything for pride month #and so when i saw that the cinema is putting on an event it made me feel really happy #this also is great because i don't know if i'll be able to go to the big pride events in the city #just like cause it's hard for me to get down there #also the pride events in the city are like outdoors in late july early august #and i always get a bit sick from being in the sun for too long #because i have bad heat intolerance from my meds :~(#they're showing some lgbt short films and but i'm a cheerleader at the cinema which is exciting #they're also having a drag show and some live music!!#thinking of what to wear to it....

HE!!!!!!!!!!!!#image 2: I found a patch of these clovers that were kind of mutated or infected or something? like they were not actually Red clovers #it was patches of totally normal green clovers except every once in a while one of them would have one leave thats red or half red or even #be completely red. AND they were growing near a patch of these wildflower weeds that have red stems to them. so I wonder if it's even poss #ble that maybe some of the red like.. got mixed in with the clovers somehow? a lot of the patches with a few red ones look spotty and unhea #thy so it could have been the sun or something. I dont know how plants work. I just thought it was really cool to find these one or two #special mutant clovers in huge patches of ohtwerise totally normal green clovers.. :0 #image 3: look at these weird round fat baby carrot things... Rotund #image 4: laying out some fabrics for a costume just drafting them and seeing what looks okay in the pile and what doesnt etc.#thats my whole process is just 'throw things into a pile on the floor that look okay and match then put them on eventually' lol #image 5: MORE wii scores lol.. I think this is my best score on this one though. There's 10 little markers you have to select so getting 7 #means I selected more than one per second.#image 6: I couldnt decide which type of muffins I wanted so I just made a batch of plain/vanilla batter and then added things to each littl #section to make multiple flavors without having to actually make a full batch or multiple batters lol. I think it's chocolate swirl (with d #rk chocolate chunks). banana cinnamon. strawberry. normal chocolate. rosemary and lemon. peach. ginger peach turmeric. and #'scraps of the other batters all thrown together' lol. the new ep really reminded me of my disappointment of how completely chill hawks is with endeavour abusing his family. him discovering his personal hero was abusive in the exact same way his father was should be gut wrenching, a betrayal but he doesn’t react to it in anyway other than “i’m sure things are different now”. if they made him destroyed and angry and carried that through the villain hunt arc, it would just bolster the tension and support the distrust society has for heroes and the need to put that aside anyway in the face of a greater enemy

#apart from his reaction with nagent it feels like we havnt seen hawks’ actual personality #or him having any real emotional reaction to anything #oh yeah my mum betrayed me to villains ans it nearly got me killed but bc the government entity that bought me at 7 yrs old told me #to forget my old life it doesnt bother me #yeah the guy ive looked up to my entire life that was literally the only bright point in my incredibly abusive childhood turned out to also #be extremely abusive towards his family up to LAST YEAR but i think hes different now so it doesnt bother me #i get that having a subplot of him being pissed at endeavour and having to be near him anyway couldve made the arc a but messy #especially with how badly paced it is #but imagine if it was actually spread out nicely #hawks has the basis of an interesting character but so much of him is fanon interpretation #his attitude with the commission is so lacklustre #hes totally fine with everything theyve done to him and doesnt see anything wrong with it or them #it takes a nuanced story of a minor groomed by the government to be a killer and turns him into a bootlicker #even his stuff with twice which shouldve knocked him on his ass doesnt hit bc he just brushes passed his realisation #the entire endeavour redemption arc annoys me bc he gets it way too easily and doesnt face consequences #he still has hawks looking at him like the sun shines out his ass #he foisters his responsibility to take down dabi the monster he created onto his youngest child bc its too hard for him #but thats besides the point #hawks has so much potential but like pretty much everyone its just not explored enough #go beyond plus ultra #coming out of my cage and ive been doing just fine.txt #bnha #hawks #endeavour #enji todoroki

Just put my art tablet down for a break (after 9 hours of background painting ;0;) n blorbo thoughts instantly popped up

Thinkin' bout some of the tags on one of the Eclipse asks, one of them was something like "If he had a small to worry about he might mellow out a bit" (not sure if that was the exact wording) but I'm now thinking about sometime after he eventually meets Y/N n hits it off as friends. I can imagine he might legit want to show them what he does in the agency, y'know cause he like what he does makes him happy. They both technically work there too, I'm sure there's some string he could pull to be like "Want to come watch me work for a day?" n then it's just a small day of (explosions) fun.

(Also giggling at the thought of Eclipse telling Y/N the only rule is legit to just stand behind him n you're good)

Stretch those hands!! Drink some water!! I applaud your perseverance, but now it's late!!

The ask was about a little soulmate in particular, which Y/N admittedly is not, but he'd still want them safe! He's giddy to show off, and Y/N is curious about new gadgets, so they'd definitely enjoy a little lab day!

Y/N is a little surprised to realize that they are the voice of reason in this combination, and that little rule just has them looking like :| for a moment before they double check - that's really safe? He's not gonna get hurt? Please don't get hurt - they have bad experiences with hurt animatronics - and yeah, that kind of concern would make him opt for less explosive and less dangerous experiments and demonstrations.

That's not to say they aren't explosive at all! They still make for a good show, and Y/N may come back home with just a little soot on their clothes, hair frizzed just a tad from static electricity, and Sun/Moon just immediately fret no matter what since they know just where their little rival spent their day gfhdjs
