Got my English teacher's permission to use Macbeth characters as dogs for a costume/scene design project.
I'm about to shove so much symbolism in these bad boys.
Reminded me of your sillies.

Macbeth Donmar Supporter's Zoom Conversation
On the 9th of May 2023 Donmar Warehouse held a Zoom "meeting" for supporters where Michael Longhurst talked about their two newly announced productions - Clyde's and Macbeth. This was a week before tickets went on general sale and before they announced that Cush Jumbo would be playing Lady Macbeth.
At the time it was all, of course, quite exciting since everything they revealed during the talk was brand new info! Most of which wouldn't be known at large until the play was being perfomed (or later). I think only about 80 people participated, most of which I think either worked for the Donmar or were members at much higher levels.
Today it's no longer new information as such, but I thought it might still be interesting to make a post about what was said during this talk :)
Michael first spoke about Clyde's (which I didn't actually listen much too) and then introduced Macbeth as their Christmas show (using the word Christmas "incredibly tenuously") saying the cast was yet to be revealed, but called it a beautiful ensamble piece, and that they were in the process of casting with the cast to be revealed "shortly".
He then went on to say that the casting that was revealed the week before made a bit of a spark - David Tennant coming to the Donmar to play Macbeth :) He mentioned it being directed by Max Webster since Michael was so impressed with how he did Henry V the year before. He said they had a joyful process of going to their favourite actors trying to match slots and titles to the actors that they love - and that they were thrilled that Mr. Tennant was stepping up to the Scottish play - "we felt it was time!"
"He [David] has obviousley given amazing Shakespearean performances - Hamlet, Richard II at the RSC - I, yeah, I think his verse speaking is frankly unparalleled, it's a thing of beauty. He's quicksilver, but he can push himself into the most extraordinary characterisations."
He went on to say that David and Max were deep into discussions about what this production should be. He said there's always Macbeths, but he thought what they would do so spectacularly would be to allow it to be a deeply psychological take on the play (facilitated/inspired by the Donmar's space).
He said they had a very exciting Lady Macbeth who would be announced in a week. He said she was a Donmar alumni who had a great Shakespearean set of works under her belt. He was thrilled to reunite her with David, saying that they had just done a TV series together. "So you can go do some subtle googling, but please don't share it" :P "It's amazing, they are gonna be a fierce combination!"
Someone then asked about whether the show would be streamed to which Michael said they were having conversations about it since there was a LOT of interest and they knew demand for this show with David would be incredibly high. So they would be doing everything they could to get the show streamed, it was their absolute ambition. Not least since it would be amazing to be able to share it with students. So they were in those conversations "as we speak". He later talks about it again - saying that streaming is a way of mass sharing, even if it can't recreate the experience of closeness at the Donmar. That they would try to secure screenings of it since they were aware it would be very popular "It's almost a curse of having such an intimate theatre - that when you program a star like that, it becomes huge".
Choosing to stage Macbeth was down to Michael and Max having a conversation about a short list of Shakespeare plays Max was keen to have a go at and them talking about various leading actors (later he expands on this as Max having had conversations with potential leading actors on which titles they were inspired with/ to perform - sorta like an Actors dating spree, 6 months ago) to decide which one would be the best one for this moment - "David's availibity created this window between two massive screen projects and it felt like the one to grab". Macbeth hadn't been staged at the "Donmar" since 1976 - with the legendary Dench and McKellen version. Michael said he thinks that the Donmar stage is the perfect space for Macbeth since "it allows the director and the lead actor to utterly hold a room of people in a way that'd be thrilling and terrifying, that you can't necessarily do in other spaces". He then said that he didn't think Max was interested in the witches and the supernatural as real entities but rather looking at psychological, trauma related reasons to explore those devices within the play. He also said Max was very passionate about making it very Scottish and that he had already been meeting with Scottish folk musicians to create his ensemble team. Also that he was very interested in Lady M being from outside the Scottish hiearchy - that she's be unafraid to challenge that Scottish status quo.
For Michael it's about "the synergy of an actor who should be playing that character - and that is Mr. David Tennant because he is one of our greatest verse speakers, let alone the greatest Scottish verse speaker".
He said that the production would definitely be a contemporary set. A modern dress Macbeth.
He then said that the reason he wanted to back Max as a director is that he thinks he offers a brand of total theatre that is really exceptional. There was a question about the music used in Henry V, and Michael said he just knew about the Scottish folk music and that music would be a part of the show, and that music is always a big part of Max's shows.
Someone then asked if they consult with scools on what plays they are studying in order to choose what they put on. Michael says they were obviously very aware of Macbeth being part of the curriculum and that being one of the reasons they thought this was "the text. And obviousley with David and his DW background, he brings a huge appeal and accesibility for young people who might find Shakespeare challenging - and you know, being brought into that story by someone they know and love so well is...you know we saw the effect happen on Henry V, 40% of people coming to the Donmar were coming for the first time when we had Henry V on - and it's thrilling to expand that connection, and we know David will do the same".

Gossip Hour (Blended AU)
I was so tempted to name this The Family Forged In Bureaucracy but that felt too grim for this one
Anygay have some sticks being silly
-
Sven didn’t always feel the best about his position in the Toppat Clan. After Henry had taken over and brought Ellie onto the scene, he was certainly glad to be farther away from that dreaded leadership position, even if he did think Reginald was a better leader. However, he’d never been demoted from his position as Head of Financing, possibly due to his already established skills in the field. He was comfortable there, he knew he was, but sometimes it was draining, staying up all night doing nothing but filling out and reorganizing paperwork, only for half of it to never go through. He still had stacks of aircraft manuals he’d inspected that Mr. MacBeth was supposed to deliver to Charles, the Head of the Toppat Aerial Assault Unit, weeks ago.
Nevertheless, his higher-up position still granted him special privileges in the organization. He was able to be closer to his friends and quickly found himself making new ones, plus it was nice to still be so close to the men who had essentially raised him and his sister. Being able to hang out with Burt was nice, too, not to mention it gave him a reasonable excuse to keep out of heists, as he wasn’t that good with combat.
But the best part, undeniably, was the weekly ‘Council Meetings’.
Of course, the first half was typically boring. Going over expenses, planning heists, making sure everyone was up-to-date on their duties, even if they ended up completely neglecting them, everything expected from a group of professionals. But that was the best part; there was only one professional in the room, and after he left, the fun part of the meeting began.
Fortunately, this was one of those moments.
“Well, chief, if that’s the meeting, then I suppose I should get back to work. I don’t trust that idiot apprentice you assigned me to do inventory without blowing a hole in the armory, but someone has to get it done,” Mr. MacBeth, Head of Munitions Management said as he stood from his chair between Ellie, the Right Hand Lady, and Reginald, the former Toppat leader.
“Alright, MacBeth. I still have other things I need to address with the others, but we’ll see you around the station,” Henry said, “And if you keep having so much issue with that ‘idiot apprentice’, I’ll just assign you another. You’re getting up there in years, someone’s going to have to take over when you have to retire.”
“Yeah, yeah…” the older man grumbled. “I’ll see you all later.”
As the door shut behind him, all the carefully crafted expressions of professionalism fell away with a chorus of groans.
“Being a leader is so boring,” Henry complained, earning a chuckle from Reginald.
“Now you understand how I felt for those few years,” the brunette remarked, leaning against his Right Hand Man. “But now, we come to everyone’s favorite part of the meeting; gossip hour!”
“The first thing I want to know,” Sven chimed in, shoving away his small stack of papers, “Ellie, have you talked to The Witch about your feelings yet? You have to eventually!”
The redhead groaned again, pulling her lilac hat down to cover her face.
“Not yet… I just… What if she doesn’t like me? I mean, I haven’t really been the most open person around her…” she admitted.
“What? Ellie, you’re like, her number one helper! You two spend so much time together, I’d be surprised if she didn’t like you at least a little,” Charles exclaimed.
“Ellie, take it from me. You’ll never know if she likes you if you don’t actually ask. There’s no for sure way to know if someone likes you. I used to think Reginald thought I was too closed off before I asked him out on our first date, and, well, look where that got us,” Right Hand Man added, holding up his hand, which was linked with Reginald’s, showing off his wedding ring. The shorter man smiled up at his husband before adding his own opinion.
“We’re not saying it’s guaranteed, but it’s worth a try.”
“Why are all of you so interested in my love life, anyway?” Ellie demanded, looking around the table at the others with a huff.
“Because you’re the only one here who hasn’t established their feelings for the person they’re interested in,” Burt deadpanned. “Reginald and Right Hand Man are married, Henry has made Charles well aware of how he feels, and me and Sven decided we don’t need a label on our relationship. But you still haven’t done anything about your massive crush.”
“I…” she tried to argue before trailing off. Burt was right and they all knew it.
“... Fuck you,” she finally told him after a bit of thinking.
“Y’know, speaking of Reggie and RHM, you two have an anniversary coming up, don’t you?” Henry shifted the topic before Ellie got angrier.
“Oh, yes, our 5th wedding anniversary! I’m so excited!” Reginald exclaimed, clutching his husband’s hand tighter. “We’ve been making plans all month, you know! Speaking of which, Sven, did you and Earrings get those dinner invitations? It would be lovely to be able to spend time with you two again, instead of you being holed up in your room all day, and your sister out on heists all the time. We rarely get to see you two anymore!”
“Don’t worry,” the blonde chuckled, “We got them. Actually, I was wondering if Burt could come along. I know it’s your anniversary, but he’s practically part of the family now.”
“Oh, of course, of course! It would be nice to finally get to know you, Burt, outside of just your title and the fact that you’re often so oddly calm.”
“I guess it’d be cool to get to know you guys, too, other than I used to take orders from you,” the Head of Communications replied, shrugging slightly.
“Wonderful! And, of course, after dinner, me and Righty will have our alone time. We’ve already booked some time in the stargazing room, isn’t that right, dear?”
“Yeah,” the redheaded cyborg agreed, “Plus we decided we’ll bring some music in there. Maybe dance a little. It’s been a long time since we’ve actually danced outside of our room…”
“Yeah, and who’s fault is that?” Ellie jabbed playfully, raising a brow at him and earning a small huff.
“Hey, I like to be intimidating, alright? If that means not letting people see me and Reg dance, then that’s what it means. The more people are scared of me, the less they’ll try to mess with him.”
Reginald let out a sigh, filled with a mixture of fondness and exasperation.
“Dear, I love that you want to protect me, but if anyone here was plotting to kill me, they’d have done it by now,” the brunette assured him.
“I mean, we have new Toppats joining all the ti-”
“Do not encourage him,” Sven interrupted Charles with the warning.
“Right, right. Anything else we need to talk about, here?” the cyborg pilot conceded.
“Well, Charles, what I wanna know is, did you like the gifts I got you?” Henry asked, leaning over to Charles with a hopeful smile. The young cyborg sighed with a smile of his own.
“Do you mean the roses, the chocolates, or the A-10 Warthog?”
“All three!”
“Well, the chocolates were pretty good, I’ll give you that. And the Warthog… Ohh, how I’ve dreamed of having one ever since I saw the demonstration when I joined the military way back when,” he sighed dreamily, before his eye lit up as he began to ramble. “Did you guys know that the GAU 8/A Avenger, the gun on the Warthog, is not only so big that they have to build the plane around the gun, but is so powerful that if you fire it for too long, the plane will actually fall out of the sky due to lack of thrust! It’s also made by General Electric, the same company that made most of the day-to-day appliances on the station! Capitalism's crazy, huh?”
“Mhm…” Henry practically swooned, staring at Charles with the most in-love expression that made Sven sure he wasn’t actually listening to him ramble, but was just listening to his voice.
“As for the flowers… I’m not actually that into roses,” the pilot admitted, watching with an amused smile as Henry’s expression morphed from one of adoration to one of confusion.
“Wh… Why did no one tell me?” the Toppat leader asked, looking around the table at his council, almost sounding betrayed.
“Henry, you hijacked a military aircraft for this man, no one was thinking about the damn flowers!” Ellie pointed out.
“And I made it clear I wanted all of my gifts to be perfect! And you,” Henry pointed to Reginald, “You specifically said ‘Get him roses, they’re the universal flower of love, he’ll love them’, did you not?”
“How was I supposed to know he didn’t really like them!?” the brunette defended.
“Henry, Henry, it’s not a big deal!” the pilot laughed, placing a hand on his shoulder. “I know what you meant by them, the same thing you mean by every gift you get me. And my reply is the same as every time; Maybe one day, but not today. Okay?”
“Aww, okay…” the leader murmured, disappointed.
“Well, after Henry’s fruitless attempts at charming Charles once again, I think we can draw this meeting to a close, agreed?” Sven asked the others, earning nods and ‘Mhms’ around the table.
“Good, it’s starting to get depressing watching Henry get shot down every meeting,” Burt almost groaned.
“I suppose, as long as Charles, Ellie, Reginald, RHM and I are still on for Saturday?” Henry asked, looking around the table. “I still think that reserve in West Mesa is worth the hit, and since it’s out in the middle of nowhere, bombing should be a safe option.”
“Yeah, it’s been a while since I’ve been on a good heist,” Ellie replied with a short nod.
“I am always down to bomb something,” Charles added.
“And I can help with the guards,” Reginald pointed out.
“I’ll handle the heavy lifting. Burt, you’ll be on comms, right?” Right Hand Man turned to the other.
“Me and Sven will, yeah. I don’t want him to be left out,” the Head of Communications assured him.
“Alright, then with that, I’ll see you all around the station,” Henry bade as he stood, and each Toppat filed out of the meeting room, walking off to handle their own things. Burt walked with Sven back to his room, watching the blonde gather up the manuals to deliver to Charles.
“Need some help?” he asked, earning a grateful nod.
“Yes, please, there’s so many…”
Sven may not have been fond of his job in the Toppat Clan, but sometimes, having people to talk to and help him made everything a little bit more worth it.

In a way, Qin Su's a lot like Lady Macduff. Lady Macduff also only exists for one brief scene before being viciously murdered for the sole purpose of harming her husband--both in-universe (Macbeth orders Macduff's family killed in retribution for Macduff rebelling against him) and narratively (guilt and grief over the loss of his family motivates Macduff to kill Macbeth). We know next to nothing about Lady Macduff, but she has so much PERSONALITY in those few minutes that she leaves an impact on the audience.
Qin Su also only exists for one brief scene, and also dies for the sole purpose of harming her husband both in-universe (Nie Huaisang may not have set out intending to kill her, but he sure didn't object to it) and narratively (Qin Su is but one entry in Jin Guangyao's List Of Crimes that doubles as a List Of Personal Tragedies), and also makes a lasting impact, except! Except.
Whereas we know more about Qin Su's backstory and her relationship with Jin Guangyao than we do about Lady Macduff's backstory and relationship with Macduff (Qin Su has her own name, for starters!), Lady Macduff's fridging pans out in the more traditional sense. Macduff's reaction to her death is the emotional centerpiece of the scene in which it occurs and is one of the most impactful moments of the entire play, even though the play is called Macbeth and Macduff himself appears in only two scenes beforehand. His handful of appearances after this moment are all about his now deeply personal hatred of Macbeth. ("If thou be'st slain and with no stroke of mine, my wife and children's ghosts shall haunt me still.")
Qin Su doesn't even get the dignity of that! The centerpiece of the scene in which she dies has nothing to do with her or even with her husband: it's Wangxian's grand romantic gesture on the stairs, followed by Wei Wuxian drawing Suibian. She stabs herself and she comes in THIRD. And forget about her having lasting impact! Lasting impact for female characters is reserved for Jiang Yanli and even she's on thin ice!
Just!!!!!! This is why it's important to me that Jin Guangyao weeping over her corpse is genuine and isn't just a Clever Ruse(TM) to dodge suspicion: though Jin Ling and Jiang Cheng certainly should have a response and fic authors who explore that are doing the Lord's work, Jin Guangyao is literally THE ONLY ONE who expresses any sort of emotion about Qin Su beyond "damn, that's crazy!", and I NEED FOR SOMEONE TO CARE.

Bumblebees are out - Jack Stauber
♧ Clove ♧
Green is Clove
Blue is Aster - @apriciticreveries
Orange is Wren - @ivanttakethis
Purple is Cindy - @tsukacchako
Macbeth - @alien-til-i-stage
Sebastian - @sotogalmo
Clove's most recent owner, Ignis. Abandoned him at ANAKT at 15 years old. He was visually beaten and bruised, cuts and gashes visible through tattered clothing. He looked lifeless. The administrators who handled him were... a bit concerned, but couldn't do anything to help him yet. The only thing Ignis said before handing all ownership over to ANAKT was, "Keep her hair long and keep her piercings in. Don't let her take them out."
And so began Clove's recovery at ANAKT. The admins were thankfully kind towards Clove, and helped him recover as well as put him in physical therapy for wrongly-healed fractured ankles.
Clove was silent for a while, the light in his eyes was dark. Everyone was referring to him as a girl and he couldn't say anything about it. His voice wouldn't come out, he was too scared.
But little by little, he regained hope. He ended up in speech therapy too, which helped a lot. Soon enough he was giving rough bits and pieces about Ignis' treatment towards Clove as well as Clove's preferred identity. They acclimated decently, able to edit a few things on his chart for future admins to see. As for Ignis' treatment, they weren't surprised to hear the things he had done. A lot of human pet owners treating their pets like sex toys, punching bags, and/or slaves is nothing new.
From what they've gathered, Clove endured all three. He was forced to be a young girl and to do everything Ignis asked of him. It was torture. He had to endure it for roughly 2 years.
They learned how Clove's eye became defective. He had a nasty beating and was left with a gash through his right eye leaving it black, bruised, and swollen. It got infected and wasn't treated. He had a parasite eat its way through his eye and by the time he was finally taken to a doctor, he was already blind in his right eye. Thankfully it was removed before any further damage was done.
...
...Making friends at ANAKT was a nice change, too. He found a lot of people he liked and some he... didn't quite like. He can be found in a patch of grass weaving flower crowns for anyone who wants one, his shaking hands turning stems in and out, over and under. He repeats the motion until his hands start to cramp.
Sometimes he'll accidentally break a stem... somewhere in his mind he hears the snap of his ankles and the scream he let out after, but he's not there anymore. He picks another flower.
He found someone who's presence is very calming, someone named Aster. He finds it quite ironic that their name is also that of a flower. He likes to braid flowers into their hair and likes to sing and dance with them. They can't see very well, but Clove doesn't care. He likes to help them during the day, if they feel like Clove is crowding them, they never say anything. In fact, Aster seems to enjoy the help Clove provides.
"I hope I can see you one day. Maybe when I get you out of Alien Stage."
"Alien Stage? What's that?"
"...You... oh no..."
"Aster...? What's Alien Stage...?"
They stay silent for a while, contemplating their next words carefully. Unfortunately,, there's not a good way to put it.
"Do you know what our singing practice is for? It's for Alien Stage. Once it's your time to participate... you'll be sent off to compete. If you lose a round by unpopular vote... they kill you on stage. It's all for the entertainment of the aliens. I'm not here to participate, only to train. But you... I need to get my owner to adopt you, so you can be free."
Clove's head was swimming. He felt dizzy. He was going to die? He would go up on stage and sing his heart out to an audience of aliens, only to be voted against and killed?
His breathing became quicker and heavier. His hands were shaking again. He felt lightheaded and everything was too bright. His vision was blurred,,, no those were tears. He quickly stood from the bench he was sitting on, forgetting his ankles were still faulty. Tripping backwards, he lands on his back, punching the air out of his lungs. He curls in on himself, deaf to Aster calling his name frantically.
HewasgoingtodiehewasgoingtodiehewasgoingtodiehewasgoingtodiehewasgoingtodieHEWASGOINGTOFUCKINGDIE.
When he wakes, hes lying on his back, facing the too bright sky of ANAKT garden. His head was pounding, but he could see familiar face above him. He made out Aster, Cindy, and Wren circling him, he also swore he saw Macbeth and Seb in the back watching worridly.
"You okay, Clove?"
"Yeah, you seemed to hit the ground pretty hard, does anything hurt... too bad?"
Clove groans, sitting up slowly. He tries to hold his head up with his hands, but notices that one of them is being held by Aster. He feels his face heat up a little bit, but deflates when he remembers why he's on the ground in the first place.
"Alien Stage..."
Everyones face twists in disdainful knowing.
"Is that what got you to freak out? I thought you knew?"
"He didn't. I guess... he was never told."
"Is... Is there anything we can do to help you, Clove?"
"I just wanna sleep. My head hurts. Sorry for scaring all of you."
He stands on wobbly feet, Wren immediately standing to stablize him. He mumbles a 'thank you' as Wren helps him get back to his room.
He doesn't sleep very well, needless to say.

Donmar Welcome Event 16th Jan 2024
Also went to a member's welcome event that the Donmar had, which was basically an hour where they served something to drink and told us a bit more about the theatre and the upcoming shows.
The invitation did say they'd have an exclusive tour of the place - on and off the stage - which I'd been quite excited about - but that didn't actually happen :(
Still, it was rather interesting! Learned a few things about Macbeth as well :)
Apparently, the stage stains very easily - which is why I'm baffled at how easy it apparently is to clean, but guess they must have some really lovely red dye that isn't as stainful as pretty much anything else that's dyed red. It also scratches easily - the movement on the stage can easily create little creases where the blood can get stuck.
I'd only seen the bloodbath on the floor once, so hadn't noticed, but was told that it comes up through the floor - probably why it differs so wildly each night how and where David is covered in it!
(As an aside to that - on the first night there wasn't a bloodbath - he was struck with the knife and there was a bit of blood on his shirt instead - now there's no blood at the wound)
Someone asked them about filming productions (not specifically about Macbeth - and they didn't say anything about it) and they told us about the process of deciding whether to record a production or not as it's a very costly affair to do so - which is why it's not something they just automatically do for everything.
They said that either the NT will ask them if they record a show - which means they do everything, and therefore is obviously the much cheaper option for themselves. The NT will let them know what benefits there might be in it for them - but as far as I understood they won't really earn much if anything from it.
So, the second option is for themselves to invest in filming a production by bringing in a third-party filming company that they pay for themselves. It's obviously a much more expensive way of doing it - but they'd also get more money back from it if it sells well in cinemas or online. Obviously, they have gone with the second option - so hopefully that's because they think it has really good marketing potential!
They mentioned that they are always very aware of the fact that not as many people get to see their performances as would probably like to see them - so it's always part of their considerations whether to film it or not when they create a new production.
One of them joked that they could probably keep up a production like Macbeth for three years and still sell-out - but that the theatre is known for putting on about 6 productions each year, so there's a limit to how long their runs can be - plus there's also the availability of actors to consider.
Someone asked if actors (I assume meaning, big name actors) takes a pay-cut to work with them - and yes, they do. Everyone is paid the theatre-standard no matter who they are. The only extra benefit they might offer big names is a taxi to get to the theatre and to escape back home afterwards.
Ah, yeah, think that was about it - everything else was more or less just about the upcoming productions, memberships, and other general things :)
Edit: Oh, forgot to mention that their focus will always be on the production as it's on, then on any potential transfers and then on releasing it for cinema/online - so if they filmed something it wouldn't be released until the live show is done - and sounded like they wouldn't necessarily say anything about it having been recorded (or not) until then as well. So don't think we will hear anything about the plan for it until the show is over.

Macbeth, Age 14
Macbeth has always been surrounded by chaos, he thinks to himself. Back when he was still with his guardian, Roulette, his ‘siblings’, they called themselves, were always loud. If they weren’t working, they were playing and screaming.
Maybe not screaming, but it was just as annoying to Macbeth. He hated it, being around them. They were always incompetent and noisy.
Maybe this was karma, he thought to himself as he listened to the other kids playing around him.
He looks up from the book he was in the middle of reading, only to see the other children playing. Most of the kids here had taken a liking to Innamorati, unfortunately Innamorati had taken a liking to Macbeth himself, making to when Innamorati wanted to play around Macbeth, so would the ten other kids who wanted to play with Innamorati. Including Toki, who he despised the most.
He heard shouts and laughter ringing out all around him, Toki and Sebastion were playing a game of tag, while Innamorati was currently reading to Nene and Yumi about some other book. Innamorati had tried to convince Macbeth to join in, however he would rather die than have to spend any amount of time with anyone in general.
Innamorati was just like Juliet. Macbeth hated this the most about him. He hated how Innamorati mimicked his sister, the one he had left behind in Roulette’s care and essentially abandoned. It wasn’t like that, he thinks to himself. But a part of him isn’t convinced by that.
He turns his attention back to the book in his hands, ignoring the ruckus around him. Ignoring how similar it is to the noise he had heard with his ‘siblings’.
“I am a fool with a heart but no brains, and you are a fool with brains but no heart; and we’re both unhappy, and we both suffer.”
Hm? His eyes passed over the text, not taking in what was said. He tried again.
“He is a fool with a heart but no brains, and you are a fool with brains but no heart; and you are both unhappy, and you both suffer.”
Wait, that’s not what it said?
“Innamorati is a fool with a heart but no brains, and I, Macbeth is a fool with brains but no heart; and we’re both unhappy, and we both suffer.”
Ok… There’s no way it includes Macbeth in this story. He thinks to himself. He blinks a couple times, his vision getting gradually more blurry with each blink.
He looks up and sees his siblings playing around him.
He blinks again and realizes it’s just the other kids. His siblings were no longer here.
Whatever, neither them nor these kids matter, he tells himself.
He can feel tears falling and hitting the paper on his book, he hadn’t even realized he was crying.
He heard Innamorari in the distance, shouting to Macbeth after noticing he was crying, but Macbeth didn’t answer.

only in the SW fandom do you have ppl look at a pacifist woman who is beloved by millions of her people and stands against centuries of war and bloodshed and go "ugh she committed genocide"
and then have the same ppl turn around and watch her sister, known terrorist Leader in a group of terrorists that purposefully murders her own people (to bring them back to a world of war), kills her own sister, and they go "omg princess"
yes this is about the kryze sisters
lmao
