Biography

PJ never knew anything different than a split home. By the time she was born, her parents had already split, never even getting married in the first place. Her father lived in Texas, five hours away from New Bellevoux so she was constantly coming and going most of her life. 

Her relationship with her mom was tense. Soon after she was born she brought someone else into their home which, as a young kid, PJ never liked or understood and would act out. That was until her first baby brother was born, James. He was her whole life. But James’ dad wasn’t the last man she paraded around the house. 

Her dad on the other hand found a nice woman, both of them latinxs and they build a nice family home, also giving her a baby brother who she adored and as much as it hurt her to leave James behind sometimes, she loved spending time with the Cortezes more than at home with her mom.

Growing up, PJ would encourage James with his music, even joining some of his bands to sing for them but everything went down when he decided to join the army. Ever the opinionated angry lady that she was, she is very anti-military and anti-war so it broke her heart when he did. They had a horrible fight and stopped talking after that.

Now she’s working as a fashion designer for a boutique that doesn’t let her do much, stomping on her creativity but at least she’s doing what she loves.

Àngel Alvarez was absolutely one of the last people on the planet that Lalo Maldonado should've gotten mixed up with. Their lives were totally different, and Lupe was pissed when she found out about the younger man's relative celebrity status. Still, Lalo wasn't the type of person to deny himself his baser wants and needs, and something in his veins called out for Àngel. Until he was turned away, he was going to keep chasing it.

Sitting in some hotel in Venice, Lalo was trying to behave. Àngel had been out all morning, leaving the cartel member to his own devices -- which could be a dangerous game, but Lalo knew nothing about Italy and had been warned by Lupe to lay low. He didn't want to travel the city without his lover, anyway.

When Àngel walked in, Lalo pushed himself up from the seat and walked over. Even after weeks in the other's presence, it still tickled him immensely how much shorter Àngel was, and the statement won a smile from the older, taller man. "Yeah, you sure did... you gonna keep it?" He asked, not making it any easier for Àngel, not making himself any smaller. "You may need to climb me."
