Light burn is an indie animated series where a young vampire shepherd (vampire bat x German shephard hybrid) named Jackson is thrust into the new, terrifying life of a god, after being blessed by the moon goddess lunar moondrop.

if your interested in what it will be like, my intentions are bellow the cut!!

it’s supposed to be inclusive to many races, sexualities, disabilities, and religious symbolisms. There are a total of 6 religions though all collected to the same belief system, with different gods representing a different core value (though pertaining the rest.) Races may or may not be portrayed through more exotic animals from different regions of the world, and sexualities are…well, already rampant.

the show will be cg animated, with toon shaders (similar to that one magical cure love shot animation that exists)

speaking of animation, we could use some help!! We need music producers and some assisting animators— though the project is still in beta, so don’t feel the need to hurry up (and also, I’m broke af and I can’t pay yall) but just in case, here is the link to the casting call club page! (sorry if the link looks strange— I’ll test it, it probobly works.)

think of it as fucked up, bloody, horrifying, sailor moon zootopia, with a shit ton of body-horror and mental issues wrapped up into a package with a theme of emotional growth. I haven’t finished the unvale pages for most of the characters yet due to the lack of art, but I might just mush them out here with their references so people can get interested more quickly! If you see unfamiliar tags, those are just my characters and or the show name.

Overall he is just so in love with you, and he tries in every way possible to show you, sometimes his hopeless romantic side takes over, and treats you like royalty

Keir Honestly, he'd be disappointed if Vesper didn't save his life (and then he would be dead, so sad). Life-saving is a bit of a baseline expectation if you're gonna be part of the gang. He will say thanks, though.

Oleander He's definitely grateful! Depending on the live-saving involved he might be game to show that gratitude in some very fun ways.

Cirrus Considering how prideful Cirrus is, he wouldn't even thank Vesper. He would thank the lunar god instead and try to forget this ever happened — their chemistry would be strained for a while until he feels he's regained control.

Code Wayne

“Head’s up, Quinn. Possible Code Wayne incoming.”

Quinn muttered a curse, and redoubled her scanning of the crowds pressing up to her charge. It didn’t take long for her to spot what Benji had seen, a woman about her age, with a photogenic little boy in her arms. Her starstruck gaze was locked firmly on Quinn’s charge – the first man on the moon, and the world’s darling: Colonel Jeff Tracy.

The media covering the mission had made much of his wife, Lucy, and even more of their three photogenic sons: toddling and precocious Scott and John, and baby Virgil, who had been famously banished to a sound-proof booth, because the tiny infant had somehow managed to snore loud enough to interfere with Mission Control’s active microphones in the lead-up to the descent to the lunar surface.

Fans of the astronaut had been quick to lock onto that fact, and parents, hell even grandparents and aunts and uncles, were flocking to him with progeny in tow, hoping their child would attract the man’s attention, and maximise their time with the hero of hour, and secure an autograph, a photograph with their idol. And standing next to him while he held your child while he was filmed for a news broadcast, or photographed by the paparazzi for a newspaper or magazine? That was winning the lottery for these people.

One thing that none of them ever counted on was the intensity of the situation, there were people and shouting and the various dignitaries who were hosting whatever event this was were all trying to maximise their time with the astronauts, and stick to a predetermined schedule; none of the astronauts were able to focus on any one thing for long, despite their best efforts.

The other thing they hadn’t factored into the decision to shove their kid at a random stranger was how comfortable the man was around kids. Quinn had quickly discovered that Jeff was one of those people who genuinely liked kids. He gave his sons as much time as he could, and was often spotted with one of the older boys on his hip, and either Virgil cradled in his other arm, or the other toddler hanging off his arm, and trotting alongside him. So it was as natural as breathing for the man to be holding a child, and he had an alarming tendency to let himself be drawn on, still holding onto a random child that had been thrust at him.

There had been a couple of scenes – that the media had, uncharacteristically, refrained from reporting to the world – with theatrically hysterical parents, still hoping for their fifteen seconds of fame. But mostly it was a bewildered looking parent standing in the astronaut’s wake, watching as their child disappeared off into the crowd with their hero.

It was a situation that Quinn had never expected to have to deal with when she had been made the handler and personal assistant to the Colonel, and her colleagues all thought it was as funny as hell. Benji, the hopeless geek, had been the one who dubbed the situation ‘Code Wayne’, after his favourite comic book character, Batman’s, apparent tendency to adopt any unattended child he comes across.

Luckily, Jeff was just embarrassed by the whole thing, and each time sheepishly handed the child back to their rightful guardian, usually with a comment along the lines of: “Whoops, that one’s not mine.”

His wife just laughed, and commented that it would have been a way for Jeff to fulfil his ‘personal football team’ ambitions with less discomfort on her part.

None of the other astronaut’s handlers had to deal with this, Quinn often grumbled to herself. Why did she get stuck with the one with the child fetish?

Quinn sighed as the woman finally fought her way to front of the crowd, and faked a stumble, to cover shoving her kid at Jeff. It was one of the higher-risk manoeuvres Quinn had seen. There was no danger to the boy – Jeff had automatically caught him before he had dropped a millimetre, but the mother was only saved from a humiliating faceplant in the dirt by a reporter.

She heard Benji and Dominic groan beside her as the woman was immediately the centre of attention, as all three of the astronauts, as well as the local VIPs set about assuring themselves that she was alright. If this made the news, there would be women literally throwing themselves at the all the time.

Quinn risked a glance towards the ranks film journalists, the uniform scowls of the cameramen reassured her: clearly there was no clean shot of the incident, to her delight and the networks’ dismay.

By the time Quinn returned her attention to her charge, the city’s mayor had regained the attention of his distinguished guests, and was ushering them along towards a large stage set up nearby, and … yep, there was Jeff with the kid, obediently trotting after him, the two other astronauts smirking in his wake, and the mother staring open-mouthed, one arm reaching out after her child.

Quinn deployed her elbows to get through the crowd, snagging the mother and dragging with her. She managed to reach out and tap Jeff on the elbow, he glanced over his shoulder and started at the sight of his ‘handler’ glaring at him with a stunned young woman at her shoulder. Quinn pointed at the child, and crossed her arms.

Jeff looked down, apparently surprised at the presence of the child, before the tips of his ears turned red – his version of blushing, she had learned – and sheepishly offered the boy out to his rightful parent.

“Sorry,” he said, “guess I’m missing my boys.”

Quinn rolled her eyes in despair.

Forty years later, Quinn groaned and rolled her eyes. Some silly young girl was staring in shock as the world-famous billionaire casually strolled away with the little girl she had pushed into his arms not five minutes ago.

Mustering up a reassuring smile for the girl – dear God, was she even out of high school? Or was Quinn just getting old? – she stepped up behind Jeff, and touched his elbow.

“Hey, Batman,” she said softly enough that only he could hear, “that one’s not up for adoption.”

Jeff started, and stared at the little girl looking back up at him in bewilderment. Then he flushed, and turned back to the mother who reached out for her daughter.

Jeff smiled sheepishly. “Whoops,” he said, the tips of his ears turning red. “That one’s not mine.”

Quinn didn’t have to be able to see them to know that his sons had simultaneously rolled their eyes, and groaned in despair.

I’m afraid one of the possibilities of my recent theorising about the reason the Tracys relocated to Tracy Island bit hard and wouldn’t let go. (And I needed a bit of a change of speed from trying to write for Febuwhump.)

Between the storms that shake the new-wrought jungles, bright and clouded, calm and tempestuous, bursting with life and alive with death, there is a rain of dust:

Some from the mountains that force themselves through the skin of the weary land...

Some that slipped the grasp of the many-coursed moon...

Some kicked up by the joyful wars of the elder race...

Some from the crashing fire that burnt the skies and clove the earth...

...and some from the stars above.

For three days, it settles like a scent, lies down in the gullies and the mud, soaking it in dryness.

Then the rains come. Hot, too hot for rain, sickening whatever drinks of them, withering the green. Where the pools and puddles dry, the monkeys gather to lick at the thin white stains...

For a night and a day, it rains salt water.

The mud it leaves is warm and thick and supple, and, at night, the brightest star just visible, hanging on the horizon above the canopy, the monkeys work with their hands at an art they know not, dim ambitions flitting in their starstruck minds.

And what a piece of work they make! Four gracile limbs, hair on the head, two eyes big and expressive and rich in many colors. In the end, there’s only one thing to be made in the image of.

From Kirrik, mother of all flesh, the new race takes the gift of life; from the King, the gift of death — a soul and a bargain to keep. And...

...from Siarruk:

“They walk sideways like a crab, brachiate, or otherwise have unusual means of locomotion.”

Let’s, uh, get into the swing of things. (They can still walk.)

“They have great powers of speech and song.” Man is like God because he speaks, but he sings like the devil himself. Or the Moon herself, if you’d rather. In the jungles, they howled to summon the moon and sang to mourn the dead. The cities of the world to come will echo with song — shrill, haunting, wild, even to them, echoes bouncing in the hollows of the soul.

“They clean themselves often with water or other substances.” They have a thing about baptism.

“Regardless of the above, their eyes will be beautiful to Siarruk in some way: very rounded, faceted, and/or having many colors.” This race has large, round, charismatic eyes — blue, brown, lavender, pink, amber. Many are a lunar shade of pale grey. Sometimes, in the half-light, ever so slightly, they shine. In the blind elders of this race, they will turn starry.

“they favour innovation, experimentation, and industry.”

“they experience euphoria when separating living or dead flesh, whether by butchery, vivisection, execution, or self-mutilation.” They nurse a perverse attachment to the destruction of flesh, to its separation and division. They will feel it in the throes of their white-hot rages and the deepest folds of their desires, in their nightmares, in their mythologies and psychopathologies, in the rituals of their religions and sciences. Does the heart not war with itself? Does the will not turn over and over in its sleep? Does what is one not yearn to multiply? The desire to bring forth children, fictions, innovations — the procreative act itself — all a sort of mutilation, self from cosmos, future from past, desire from self, self from self.

There looms in the future of this race an immanent confusion and profusion of tongues whose details are yet to be settled upon but which will take on an appropriately MYTHIC register, that it may echo menacingly from the pulpits of a million churches yet unbuilt.

...and a little more from the Lighter of Paths:

These are humans, a little long in the limbs; their skin is a medium brown, their hair black, brown, or sandy blonde. They will diversify and differentiate as they spread.

Okay, multiversal casino staff and a bit of lore before I get too sucked into my hyperfixations and forget about it

[NOTE 1 !! If you want to make a similar concept feel free but do not take my concept entirely! You can make something SIMILAR but not EXACT replica please! I don't mind inspiration but do tag me in any art or rambles because I LOVE to see people be inspired by things or something I make!]

[NOTE 2 !! Some of these characters may act out of canon when I draw them (If I do), some of their Lore might be different, there is an explanation for it here, don't pummel me for it please.]

Origin/Main concept : The multiverse casino was originally made to be a hangout spot for people from other universes, somewhere where they could relax and discover other universes. This worked, but eventually they needed more Staff to help out on all the floors.

Why these specific characters for staff members? (Staff members are shown later) : I picked from my favorite characters from various fandoms (excluding any of my favorite children characters (theres only one here cause theyre celestes friend.)) and threw them here, they're all categorized by the card categorization I have.

Categorizations : There's both the card symbol organization, there will be a section for it at the end of the staff lists.

How does the multiverse casino get its staff? : they find almost exact copies of the universe they're trying to get a staff member from, and they talk to the person they're trying to bring in and see if they'd like to join. Old staff members get their memories of the casino entirely wiped before being returned back to their universes like nothing happened (this essentially happens whenever I leave a fandom)

A Lunar Heartbreak Mark had been staring at the stars, spending a few nights lying on the roof of his small countryside home away from his devices, gazing up at the moon. It was his solace, a silent companion during the lonely nights. When one of those serene nights, with the a full moon, a bright light beam down then she appeared. Mark sat there starstruck .She was unlike anyone he'd ever seen, ethereal and luminous, as if the very essence of the moon had taken human form. "Hello," she said softly, her voice like the gentle . Mark was mesmerized. Her skin had a soft, silvery glow and was slender and beautiful like pearls. "Hi... I'm Mark," he managed to stammer. "I'm Elara Io ," she replied, smiling warmly. "I've been observing your world for quite a time." Elara was curious about things on Earth, Mark life , his purposes and viewpoint on his his planet and the moon. He in turn, asked her about the moon her way of life on the moon . She told him of a that moon was a world of silver sands and quiet beauty, a place of solitude and reflection which was boring to her. They began to talking other about other things like family ,friends ,and etc as the night wore on. Over the next three months, Elara would visited Mark often. They spent their evenings by the lake, walking under the stars, sharing stories, and laughing together. Mark shared with her the beauty of Earth—sunrises, forests, landscapes, foods , activities and etc. Over time they became close to the point Mark gave her a cute nickname, Lumi. The more and more Mark hung out Elara, he found wanting to be around her more and falling in love with her. Her presence was radiating and comforting in his life putting mind at ease. One night, Mark wait for Elara with Ipomoea alba in his hand. When she arrive she looked gloomy. Mark up to her caress her cheek “ Lumi what’s wrong," Elara looked at him with sadness in her eyes. "Mark, I love you," she said, her voice trembling. "But we can't be together." "Why not?" Mark asked, his heart sinking. "I'm not from your world," she explained. "My visits here are temporary, and the longer I stay, the harder it is for me to return home. If I stayed with you, I could only see you once or twice a month when the moon is closest to the Earth. The rest of the time, I'd be too far away to reach you." Mark felt a lump in his throat. "But we could make it work," he insisted. "I don't care how often I see you. I just want to be with you." Luna shook her head, tears glistening in her eyes. "I wish it were that simple. But our worlds are too different. You deserve someone who can be with you, always." Mark's heart ached and legs felt numb as he realized the truth of her words. He knew that loving Elara meant letting her go, no matter how much it hurt. Elara stood by the lake, her hand gently resting on Mark's cheek. "I'll always be watching over you, Mark," she whispered. "Whenever you look up at the moon, know that I'm thinking of you." With a final kiss, she began to fade, her form dissolving into the moonlight. Mark drop to his knees and clutch his chest . Tears rolled down his face, leaving only the memory of her touch and presence fading. From that day on, Mark would often find himself looking up at the night sky, a sad smile on his face. He knew that somewhere up there, Luna was watching over him, their love spanning the vast distance between Earth and the moon. Though he wished they could last forever and many more. Oh boy, these characters are like skeletons in my closet because I'm not in the Danganronpa fandom anymore and most of these were made when I was like 11 years old ;;

Twins Kokoro and Kasumi

Also originated from Discord roleplays- specifically Danganronpa killing games. Kokoro (left) was the Ultimate (Gothic) Lolita and Kasumi (right) was the Ultimate Harpist. Now, being 11 years old, their backstories were just ripped off from the Fey clan and literally Dahlia and Iris from Ace Attorney... I do use these two time-to-time with friends but I'm glad to say that they are (mostly) their own independent characters with writing now.

E-Clipse - 22. Struggling newbie reporter at Space Channel 7. Him saving the universe was seen as a lucky break + the news cycle moves so fast that it became irrelevant quickly. Still, he reports with a wink, a smile, and smooth moves.

Big Ben - E-Clipse’s former supervisor and current CEO of Space Channel 7. Still tries to help him out when he can. (Unfortunately, I couldn’t fit him in.

Mr. KK - 34. E-Clipse’s current supervisor, selected by Big Ben himself. A supportive though cautious man, he retains a professional demeanor in all situations, which he may’ve acquired during his time as technical difficulty staff. 

Lunar - 22. Worked on a spaceship E-Clipse rescued during the previous invasion and has been a fan ever since. Most of the ship crew got laid off afterwards, which led him to apply for a job at Space Channel 7. Due to budget cuts, E-Clipse’s automated recording set up got replaced with a manual one, with Lunar as a one-man show. Despite it all, E-Clipse is glad to have someone along for the ride. What Lunar lacks in rhythm, he makes up for in sheer heart. Somehow he remains starstruck even when E-Clipse puts on his clothes inside-out.

Maiomai - 19. Prodigy pianist with a plot to make the universe dance to her music and hers alone. Has an army of robots do her bidding. They’re also programmed to praise her every action.

Hirokage - Maiomai’s field operative, meaning he does all the dirty work for her. Sleek and mysterious, he’s a fearsome foe with fiercer moves. Can a robot really have that much style?

Valala and Leileoi - Mysterious beings with some kind of influence on Maiomai, and not for the better.

The Kosmics - 31, 27, 25. Trio of superstar siblings who once saved the universe with singing, music, and dance moxie. Maiomai is kidnapping them to eliminate the competition. Unfortunately for her, rarely are they all in the same place. (I wasn’t able to fit all of them in either)

L-Capitan - 23. He got laid off from his spaceship piloting job and now works as a traffic officer. VERY passionate about traffic laws. He doesn’t understand why he can’t just arrest people when they break the law, but he takes his drum battles seriously.

Jaywalker 1 - 30. Real name Killa. Prisoner and backup drummer for L-Capitan. Despite the name, he’s not a killer, but a thief. His last heist came to an unexpected end when he tried to escape through traffic. He seems to have plans to make a run for it. 

Jaywalker 2 - 19. Real name Jell-O. Prisoner and backup drummer for L-Capitan. An unfortunate soul who thought he could cross an empty part of the street with no crosswalk. Not on L-Capitan’s watch!

Rox - Not much new to say about her other than that she has a guitar. She also has a new camerawoman, not because Space Channel 22 had budget cuts, but because she was jealous that E-Clipse had a little camera buddy. Like before, she’s willing to put aside competition to defeat a greater foe. 

Hero - 23. Went on a special solo mission a while ago. According to the other Space Sentai, he hasn’t been heard from since.

Thank you!! I’ve actually watched a ton of them!! I’ve had a dropout account since college humor first disbanded because I really wanted to support dimension 20! I even did crown of Candy fanart back in 2019 haha! I haven’t seen the fey court show or starstruck odyssey (yet) although I saw a lot of buzz about acofaf. I’m super predictable… so far my fave ever character has been Evan Kelmp lmao! But my favorite seasons are still the first season of Fantasy High and Unsleeping City!

And yeah! I’ve played a bunch of dnd campaigns (l loooove making characters!!) I’m currently in the middle of a dry spell, but I’m about to start a pirate-themed campaign in the new year. I’m playing a lunar sorcerer siren! The other couple dnd characters that I’ve really loved have been Compassion, a tiefling cleric who is Trying Her Best to Be Good and Alena, a human warlock who is actively being manipulated by her familiar (and patron!) Karsus. She’s… also trying her best to Be Good but she’s also in a sunk-cost fallacy with her patron and has an extremely skewed view of “the ends justify the means” lol
