“finally! you’re back!” barty had announced with a smirk as evan entered the dungeons, his feet dragging along the cold stone floors. the slytherin common room was characteristically cold, the only warmth came from the fire in front of the you. as the night wore on, the number of occupants dwindled, yet the fire remained steadfast. all that remained were you, barty and regulus as you waited for evan to return from the library.

you and your twin turned to face the blond when the only reply he could muster was a heavy sigh. catching evan’s eye as he approached, you exchanged a small smile, though it seemed to take some effort from him.

“come sit, evan,” you gestured to the armchair opposite the three of you. “you look exhausted, my love.” evan only hummed in response. he slowly made his way towards the couch where his two lovers and friend sat, briefly caressing barty’s neck before stopping in front of regulus.

“shift it,” he murmurs to your twin.

“evan, there’s an empty chair right behind you,” regulus argues.

“reg,” evan sighs, “now if you’d please.” his tone left little room for argument.

regulus grumbles about his audacity now that he’s dating his sibling, but reluctantly moves anyway. evan slumps into the space next to you, arm resting on the back of the couch and legs spread in front of him. regulus and barty ease back into their conversation before evan’s arrival. you watch his face closely. feeling your gaze, evan tilts his head and offers another small smile that reaches his eyes, looking a little more relieved now. you return his smile with a wink and run your hand through the hair at the nape of his neck, his eyes couldn't help but close at the feeling.

as evan relaxed into the couch, he eased into the animated conversation. His arm slid from the back of the couch to around your shoulder. The comfort of your presence and the brush of barty’s arm against his fingertips gave him the solace he had being craving for the whole day. he sighed once again, shoulders drooping.

your eyes start to ache and grow heavy as it gets later, it takes all your effort to remain upright and attentive as the three boys converse spiritedly. you quiet down, and opt to listen to them talk in front of the crackling fire. but your head seems to grow more and more heavy as the late night turns to early morning. your head drops to rest on barty’s shoulder. noticing this, evan pulls your legs over his lap, guiding you into a lying position where you rested your head onto barty’s bouncing leg that stills almost immediately.

that’s how the rest of your night passed, your head in barty’s lap and evan gently caressing your ankles as the three of them talk and you offer a remark or a laugh at their bickering. eventually the conversation drowns out and your eyes begin to drift closed, and the only thing you can hear is the muffled conversation and the roaring fire. the only thing you can feel is the scratch and tug of barty's fingers at the hair near the nape of your neck, and the worshipping, barely-there drag of evan's palms against your ankles.

across from you, regulus watches evan pause the delicate attention on your ankles to pull the blanket draped over the back of the couch over your unmoving figure, and barty pulls the blanket to cover your shoulders that shiver underneath your thin pyjamas. the moment lasted only seconds, before his sister’s lovers return their gaze to him to quietly continue their playful banter in the glow of the fire.

Knowing Dark Link, I believe if he had a significant other with Shinobu's personality, it would be quite different to witness.

He's practically a being of shadows, a demonic entity made from the negative aspects of the original Link, so having someone with a "calm" personality would be quite novel.

Let's say he gets easily irritated, with your "calmness" and intelligence, it would be a bit easier to persuade him, as he would see you as someone innocent, pure would be the right word, especially if you maintain the calmness and have Shinobu's personality.

If you had Shinobu's fighting skills (especially with a sword), he would likely find it quite interesting. Certainly, he might deliberately put you in the midst of monsters just to watch you fight.

I believe he's a bit sadistic and masochistic, so fights between you two could happen, obviously followed by reconciliations. It would be like a sword fight where when both of you end up on the ground, there's already a hint of romance.

Talking about romance, I firmly believe that Dink would be a kind of half-pervert, not in the cliché sense, but in the sense that he could look at you lasciviously at any moment, as if ready to pounce, like prey, and when I say any moment, I mean any moment!

Imagine you're in a fight, and he's watching, or maybe you're both fighting. He might think, "Damn, she looks so sexy like that; it's a shame I have to hold back."

If you had Shinobu's medicine, I imagine Dink would be interested only in the poisons. I think he would add small doses of poison to your wine for both of you to drink. It might be something romantic from his perspective! Just imagine, drinking poison with your lover while having dinner and wine – it's simply "romantic" in his view!

I think he desires your loyalty. In the poison scenario, if he suspects betrayal or any wrongdoing, I can imagine him putting a larger dose of poison in your cup than usual, waiting to see what happens. Remember, if you were a traitor in any sense, whether in the relationship or siding with the so-called "despicable" green hero, he would be quite vigilant.

In summary, Dink would highly appreciate an S/O with Shinobu's personality, especially if you have something against heroes. However, if your opposition is directed towards demons... let's just say it would be more of an "Enemies to Lovers" situation rather than a straightforward "Lovers Turned Adversaries" or a rough romance, call it what you will.

Ahem... your legs would be sore after the fight... ahem... and not because of the battle... marks on your neck, love bites, bites, and... you all beaten up... ahem... he would love to make you a bit foolish... ahem.

Wincing at the slight mess, she could only be glad that she preferred the iced variation of the beverage over the traditional hot version. Scalded skin was far more painful than splashes of cold, after all.

“Sorry,” she said, even though it was only her own coffee spilled and the mess was on her alone. “I guess I was lost in thought there for a moment!”

Or maybe she was more nervous to be meeting up with Meredy than she thought.

A little sheepishly, she added, “And to be honest, caffeine makes me pretty jittery, I probably shouldn't be having it right now, but it was a really late night.”

preschool teacher!James

As much as I can see James Potter as a bodyguard, rugby player, drummer, etc. he would be the perfect preschool teacher. He would wear cozy sweaters and greet kids with high fives and fistbumps every morning. James would most definitely play with them on the playground or watch over them with a frown, pout and a cup of tea in hand. I just know that he would have a jar of special sweets on his desk. The kids would think that he’s the coolest because he wears baggy jeans and converse and their parents don’t. Parents would adore when he sends home their children’s arts and crafts. When they cry he’ll sit with them in the book corner on a giant bean bag and stroke the hair at the napes of their necks because that’s how his father comforted him when he was a child. James takes decorating his classroom very seriously, he tries his best to make it a safe and bright place for the kids. Children from other classes or babies who just learned how to walk always pay his classroom a visit and only leave when their teachers come looking for them. The kids love to cuddle him because he’s just so soft. When people ask about work he’ll talk about the kids as if they’re his own. He always hates when the year is over because it means that they’ll be going to the next grade and won’t be in his class anymore. He adores these kids so much that when it’s the end of the school year he cries on his way home because they just grow up so fast :(

Without noticing, Twilight approaches from behind, silently watching. When he places his hand on your shoulder, you immediately pull away, ready to draw your sword, only to see the surprised look on his face. “Whoa, take it easy,” he says gently, and you, reluctantly, exhale and lower your guard, turning your gaze away. “Time said we need to get ready. We’re leaving soon,” he continues, pointing to the group ahead. You only nod, unable to muster a response.

The group moves forward, heading towards a nearby town. You trail behind, watching the others talking and interacting. It’s still strange being surrounded by so many versions of Link, all familiar yet not quite the same as your own. Among them is your best friend, the one whose birthday is approaching soon. Even after crossing universes, you still haven’t found a worthy gift for your prince, your friend. What kind of person are you if you can’t even pick a simple present?

As your eyes wander, you spot a bookstore. Suddenly, it hits you: your prince loves books, research, anything that feeds his curiosity. Maybe a book from another universe would be the perfect gift.

Wilde happens to notice you entering the shop, watching as you quickly pay for a book and tuck it away. He simply observes, curious but silent. After all, this isn’t his Hyrule, and you’re not a version of him. You don’t know each other, aside from the fact that you know he’s an excellent cook.

“Where are we going, old man?” Warrior asks Time, who looks unusually cheerful. “We’re going to meet someone,” Time replies, a hint of excitement in his voice.

“I bet it’s his Zelda,” Warrior whispers to Legend, who scoffs. “Bet it’s not.”

But you, all you want is to return home, where things make more sense, where your friend is waiting for you, and maybe, where a less uncertain future awaits.
