depending on when i arrive at camp, i don’t know when i’d be claimed. like if it’s before percy shows up maybe a month? but if it’s after him a week at most.

but i do know i’d be claimed before i become a teen, like 11 or 12 at oldest !!

i also don’t think i’d be a year rounder, but i’d 100% go during the holidays if i’m not busy

ANYWAYSS it’d probably happened when i was alone - maybe swimming or sunbathing and BOOM! there’s a trident above my head

i’m not sure if it would’ve been a surprise to some people, but i think some campers would be like ‘yeah makes sense.’

i the other options were ‘they’re a hermes kid’ or ‘that’s probably hypnos’ child.’ (ignore the fact those two gods couldn’t be more different)

until percy shows up it’d be just me.. so obvi i’m the head counsellor 🫡 the cabin would be SO clean with me running the place.

I saw u were taking nimona headcanons so I wanted to add a couple I have

I think nimona would be a very clingy baby. She likes being carried around and will latch onto her daddys’ arms or legs, forcing them to take her with them all day

I also think that she would like that game where she stands in between balister and ambrosius and they take her hands and swing her up into the air

She also adores the playground. She loves running and climbing and playing with the other kids. She cries when they leave but they can’t stay there forever, it’s nap time now. She says that she’s not tired but falls asleep in their arms on the way home. Sometimes they have to leave before usual tho bc she starts eating wood chips and/or throwing them at the other kids

I think she would also like playing on balisters metal arm. She holds on and he lifts her up into the air. She loves it. He loves it too… just as long as he’s not trying to work at the same time

They brought her too the zoo once and it didn’t go the way they planned. It started out well, they were saying the names of the animals and the sounds they make and she was really into it. But she got a little too into it and started turning into all the animals. It was a lot harder to keep track of her after that so they had to bribe her out of the zoo with churros

She's the clingiest baby everrrr! She'll shift into an itty bitty mouse so that she can sleep soundly in their pocket and be lulled by the sound of their heartbeat ♡♡

Sometimes at the playground, the other kids are playing "royalty" where someone is the queen, the knights, etc- Nimona is "the anarchist who sets fire to the kingdom for the abolition of monarchy" character (which, Ambro has to swoop in before she starts trying to throw the playground pebbles as her "arrows"- Balli is lowkey rooting for her in the background because now he's invested in the storyline xD)

So now she's in a new city under hiding or face criminal charges she didn't commit willingly. She managed to dye her fur and change enough and became a roadie for this band that's not very good. (Ffps rockstars I love yall funky vibe I'm sorry yall died too soon). She wants to help people and protect them she knows there's others under Glitchtrap’s control and wants to put a stop to him. Sadly some off them don't seem like they want any help... She was a beagle dog because when I saw her I was like beagle!!!!

More stuff I like about my own comic (Head cannons about why stuff is the way it is too)

So like, yeah Vio had a panic attack. He’s relatable to me. UwU (I write shit I can relate too. Lmao. Deal with it. X’D)

Also Vaati’s curse: Dark Link, I won’t say too much about his “Powerset” or what he does since most of yall can deduce so far what he “Can” do atm.

Smth about Vio/the four swords gang that has always struck me is:

HOW EXACTLY ARE THEY SPLIT UP? (Not physically, I think they’re magical bodies and Link’s body is somewhere in the spiritual realm but that’s a head cannon)

Like, it’s not just “They reflect emotions” that breaks down after Blue and Red. Anger and “sad/emotional” respectively. Green’s like a weird husk of the original Link. (Like…Idk he basically acts like any other Link in any other manga but bland. X’D which is why I gave him depression in FSR. He's infamously the most under- memed character in FS. He’s effectively bootleg/dollar store Link. Worse without the other 4 and bare bones Link by himself. Flavorless Link if you would. Watered down fountain soda because you added too much ice Link.)

Vio, at least, is really hard to pin down what part of the link he IS. (At least imo)

Let’s break down Vio’s traits:

At the start of the manga, he’s selfish, lowkey, rude/blunt, the ‘Smart” one (All of them are smart in their own ways tho so that’s not ALL.) He’s cunning, manipulative, rather cold, and generally “Negative” traits.

I think he’d be insecure about that. Identity crisis. Because well, he IS mostly “negative” traits. Or at least ones that are SEEN as negative and it’s obvious to ME at least, he feels alienated from the other 3. He comes off as lacking empathy too.

Basically: Vio’s own moral ambiguity makes him very uncomfortable. Because there’s no outrunning it.

This frame is fun, because Vio was reaching for his sword which, because he’s in the “Headspace” , wasn't there. But as Shadow Link mentions later, Vio was reaching for it in reality too.

I’ve gone on my rant, but imo this was a bold faced LIE. X’D

WHY DID YA DROP THE SWORD THEN FUCKER???

Lol so this is a headcanon: 

But basically: Why the hell would Vio formulate a plan with Shadow Link (One that even guarantees Zelda's safety as if he was REALLY trying to make it work…), just to drop it in favor of a “Quicker” solution?

He was uncomfortable as hell by Shadow Link’s confession, so decided “Yup, mirror shattering time.” Emotions make him uncomfortable. Especially Shadow Link’s because the very act of manipulating Shadow Link is very Un-heroic of him.

He couldn’t play the long game because it made him realize his own “Failings” as a hero, but that was the OG plan after gathering his thoughts in the woods. (At least to me.)

Infiltrate/get friendly with Shadow Link, find out who or what is behind Vaati after learning of “Gannon”, destroy Vaati, save Zelda and defeat Gannon.

He went with Mirror shattering because: 1. It makes the most logical sense. Cut off Gannon’s power supply AND destroy Vaati. Shadow link is an unfortunate victim but “It’s worth it”

I find it funny BLUE is said to be the one who’s “Willing to do anything to win” When I feel that is WAY more applicable to Vio. X’D Bitch was willing to do a LOT to save Zelda and defeat Vaati. And...similar to how he states at the beginning of the manga "Team schmeam I don't need any help". He goes off to invade the enemies ranks ALONE.

Art wise the Vaati wings on Dark link block out and make fire lol. Which I imagine makes Vio uncomfortable after that whole “Almost getting burned alive from lava” thing.

This is smth brought up in the twilight princess manga, which is fun because Vio’s outfit is very similar to that Link’s. X’D

The weight of being a hero and it's title being a heavy burden for whoever is "Link" at the time.

Now that Vio isn’t “The hero” doing something towards a hero goal, “Who the fuck is he?” FSR is kinda a thing where it's like "Okay sure Vaati's here...but he's like...a non issue lmao" they're kinda aimless. Who are they if not THE HERO. LINK.

Okay these frames are so pretentious but here we go:

Dark Link is literally his insecurities being suffocating. X’D

Specifically: Considering Shadow’s words and his status as a hero.

Also all the eyeball imagery, so many people watching him fail/judging him.

Fun things art wise: Human teeth are scary as fuck.

I like the panel where Dark Link hugs him. Because an embrace can either be VERY UNCOMFORTABLE or very comforting depending on the context. Here it is very much NOT a comforting hug.

Also side note: Dark Link might come off as “Confusing” as a character…He’s very INTERESTING as the series goes on.

Vio snapped out of it but he’s still ain’t okay lol. Shadow Link didn’t hear Dark Link’s part of the “conversation” so he really just heard Vio mumbling utter nonsense. That would be scary as hell. Especially when he’s reaching for his weapon like dayum I’d cry too Shadow.

He still feels like he’s on eggshells around Vio, he's aware their relationship atm isn't very stable. 

Lol so this is some of that sexy “Character development” i keep joking about with Shadow Link.

He’s still  a creature of darkness but he cares very deeply about Vio. 

Lol so smth you may notice is how: I fucking love how SINCERE Shadow Link is as a character. Like bro puts on a spooky act, but he’s just a sweet little guy that wants friends and he’s super open with his feelings. (I think he was just talkin’ his feelings in the woods too but that’s a head cannon. X’D He’s so weirdly soft with Vio out in the woods like…Bro)

It was a trait that bit him in the ass as a villain but I think that it shows that he is a good boy on the inside.

Lol so we all know how much Shadow Link hates pity, he doesn’t pity Vio, he emphasizes. And i think bro just really wanted to be hugs (HE’S SO TOUCH STARVED LMAO)

Even lines like “They’re all a big happy family in the dark world” (Paraphrased) show to me Shadow just REALLY wants a support system/family/SOMEONE he can rely on. X’D

So he says shit he wishes someone had said to him.

Also he hasn’t been able to physically HOLD someone in 7 years, Shadow Link misses physical touch like crazy.

Hug didn’t work lol.

Vio’s still frazzled.

I fucking love Shadow Link’s face “CURSE WHA-” like Vio’s really talking utter nonsense and it’s kinda funny ngl.

Vio didn't mention Dark Link so, to Shadow Link: Vio brought this up just because he's spiraling atm.

*cough cough* “You’re guy’s house” *cough cough* he doesn’t consider it HIS house too…

Continues to apologize for…nothing. Ouch.

Still blames himself for setting Vio off- oof.

Lol. Everything Vio says in the library is very telling of how he feels the pressure to be the one to come up with a plan to fix things. Because “He’s the smart one”. Even when LITERALLY NO ONE has put said pressure on him to fix things as Blue and Green outright don’t wish to be Link again, and Red complained back in the headspace

Also Vio continuously gripping Shadow Link because he wants Shadow Link close to him. 

You can tell he isn’t trying to hug Vio anymore because that didn’t work lmao. He touches Vio a lot less and only in comforting ways (Patting his arm, his head, rubbing his arm ex), Vio’s actually the one who keeps pulling him closer.

Vio is correct here: He’s TECHNICALLY in no physical danger.

Dark link choking him in the headspace didn't do squat to him. It’s Vio’s own thoughts that are fucking with him.

Lol that statement is very bloated. Vio realized “Holy shit, he’s still here after EVERYTHING.”

The manipulation in the past, the panicking. 

Shadow Link’s just, still there for him. He isn’t leaving, and shows no sign of wanting too.

100% accurate. Shadow has no obligation to be helping Vio rn in any way. At all. Especially after how Vio’s treated him. Shadow's even looking for books to help with the curse that MAY OR MAY NOT even be affecting Vio for all Shadow Link knows.

Okay funny story about pages 63-65 : These look so sketchy because I literally was like “doing line art for these expressions would ruin them” So they’re sketches. X’D

About the panels themselves: Shadow Link’s response to getting thanked in the manga makes me think he REALLY wants to do good things and get complimented for them. So when Vio thanks him (Smth he didn’t expect) he gets embarrassed.

Vio is FINALLY HONEST WITH SOMEONE ABOUT HOW HE FEELS.

He can’t run from it anymore lmao. So he has no choice but to tell him.

Lmao funny story: OG draft Shadow Link laughed at the "I'm a bad person" line. X’D

I’m glad I cut it but it also would have been very funny because like…Objectively no. Vio you’re not a “typical” bad person. And from Shadow’s perspective Vio is anything BUT a “Bad” person. He’s the “Hero”.

While not directly apologizing, Vio does admit to feeling like utter shit for what he did. Which is, SOMETHING. “Sorry ma i goofed up” vibes. XD

This whole thing got way out of hand and overdeveloped into a full blown brainrot and I blame @grayvineyard for indulging me (who made LOVELY art for this au <3)

Bear with me, set roughly in the 1st/2nd gen of pokemon so Kanto/Johto except for the pokedex, there's a mix of those just because. Technically thought out for geetrick with a side of petekey in mind, but also a shit ton of gen.

Here are the basic foundations:

-> pokemon teams

Gerard's champion team: Espeon, Typhlosion, Nidoqueen, Parasect, Mismagius and Salamence

- His Espeon is blind due to a surprise ambush kinda critical hit by a venom type back in his teens.

- Lots of rumors ensued from this, but they don't like talking about it.

- She guides herself by psychic waves/a psychic mental map and through both the mental bond with her teammates and Gee.

Patrick's: Ninetails, Togekiss, Staraptor (uncanny resemblance to Pete...), Venusaur, Ursaring, Luxray

- Although his team overall seems big and scary they are all sweethearts, extreamely nice

- Meanwhile he's small and snarky, the meanest out of them all

- Ninetails has an attitude problem. she's a princess and she expects to be treated as such (it's Patrick's fault really from spoiling her rotten when she was a little vulpix)

Mikey's: Jolteon, Arcanine, Ampharos, Milotic, Butterfree, Xatu

Pete's: Ambipom, Gliscor, Gengar, Sunflora, Honchkrow (uncanny resemblance to Patrick...), Coralina

Ray's: Magby, Houndoom, Charizard, Victini, Chandelure, Clefable

- it's a mystery how he found Victini, he refuses to explain, just showed up with them one day and that was that

- very smug about it when he uses them in battle (unofficial ones only, the league doesn't allow them in his elite team)

- bane of Gerard's existence how Ray babies them around (Victini enjoys this very much, he gets extratreats and hangs on his shoulder/head), like cmon, that's a fucking legendary!

- hatched Magby from the egg himself, and he turned out to be a crazy kid, running around without looking twice, there's always gotta be at least one grown human or pokemon supervising him at all times

- his Clefable doesn’t seem to fit but is the secret trick, knowing fire blast as well as solar beam and water pulse.

Professor Way moving into town (Pallet i guess?) with Mikey

She's... Not the best at parenting

cue him journeying through Kanto with Pete and Patrick (suppose they are around 17ish during that as an start point)

Pete as the high-spirited, optimistic trainer who sees the good in everything and fully beliefs in the power of friendship to rise over any challenge coming into his path. Strong trainer, makes friends with everyone, extreamely focused on the experiences the adventure brings, half assedly aims to become pokemon master. (kinda ethan/gold vibes ngl)

Patrick as the other side of the coin, not completely opposite, but a stark contrast to him, where Pete is ambitious in his journey, challenging gyms and aiming for the league, Patrick isn't too sure about his path, is critical of the battling business and more theoretical/book strategic when approaching a challenge. Doesn't mean he has a worse bond with his pokemon. Uncanny, natural gift at battling tho, but honestly doesn't think twice of it ("what like it's hard?"). Lowkey on a midlife crisis at 18 going from trainer to breeder (pokemon daycare worker?) to researcher, boy does not know what he's doing. But it's fine. Mostly.

Mikey's the kid that looks too cool to be a nerd and simultaneously seems like too much of a nerd to be as cool as he is. Has their only braincell for most of the time. Doesn't give a fuck, only he knows what his plan in life is, does he challenge the gyms? does he plan to go into research under his mom? he just vibes. BAMF, keeps the other two out if trouble more often than not. Lowkey mommy issues

Gerard as reigning champion, child prodigy, went on his journey with Ray at 13ish, crowned at 14, practically a legend. Extreamely extravagant, drama queen all around. Lots of rumours about him AND his blind Espeon. Honestly overworked, plus mommy issues (my emotional punching bag <3). A mountain hermit that thinks living on top of a freezing mountain is better than doubling down to the unsurpassable merit of peaking as a preteen. Deep down a sweetheart with a passion for pokemon and training.

Ray takes it easier, one of the elite four, fire type trainer. Local sunshiney, polite guy who Knows What He's Doing. Actually a badass who is tired of everyone's shit. Mostly holds the last braincell he and Gerard have left. Perchant for petting every fire type he encounters no matter how big or dangerous.

Ray and Gerard took out Team Rocket when they were teens, with them now being around 21.

Professor Way centers/ed her investigations on legendary pokemons, devoting most of her time and attention to it. Gerard would try to help out, not really successfully, and eventually developed a weird relationship with them as a concept, slightly obsessed, slightly frustrated, an underlying splinter still dug inside him.

When the Ways were kids there were a bunch of Eevees in the lab for research purposes or whatever. They always played with them and eventually kept one each.

Pete’s jacket’s fluff is made of mareep wool which, paired with his penchant for hugging Mikey’s and Patrick’s electric types, means his always charged with static energy and he’s a nightmare to be physically close to

Mikey Pete and Patrick are little shits and they lure Gee’s pokemon with too many berries

Like Patrick quickly becomes their fave bc of all the treats and how little he gives a fuck about Gerard’s stubborness

Specially after Gee runs off to Mt. Silver for a while and he’s the one who has to periodically hike up to make sure the idiot’s still alive

I'm still posting stuff here, so I'll be making more art.

Now I wanna tell ya something interesting. I used to grow up with this cute crossover headcanon about glitch from the game dance central and vanellope from Disney's wreck it ralph, being like siblings and then later hiro from big hero 6. Since those are characters I liked growing up.

First, I wanted to share my reasons for the first two characters. Vanellope is a video game character who is known for being a "glitch," and the same goes for glitch from dance central 2 (Not physical glitch tho) and are friends with people who are older than them mo and ralph of course. Both definitely rock the green / teal colors along with their personalities. If you know these characters, you'll probably know what I mean. I feel like they definitely would be the type to pull pranks and dance together. This was one of my favorite crossover ideas. Growing up, I would only find two fanarts with them, so I might be the first to make this more known.

Second is hiro and vanellope. Obviously, these are characters from the same animation company, Disney, and they do look alike. And him being associated with gummy bears and lollipops while vanellope is candy themed. I have this cool idea if hiro was to make a suit for vanellope. It would be like tracer from overwatch, hehe ^_^

These are characters from very know popular media, so of course, this crossover was bigger than the other. There are more fanart and edit/post of these two everywhere. (Now, of course, there were shipping stuff people made for them... soooo no, I'm not a fan of it... especially the age difference.😬

Both the games and movie they are from are... totally different media... I think think it's kinda hard to explain. Both characters are supposed to be 14 and have something to do with taking place in the future... I guess.

They would be chill with each other, lowkey. I can see glitch trying to bond with hiro being like a brother. Given the fact that hiro had a brother so it could work. I think hiro would be fascinated by the boom box called Boomy. Like he'll ask how it works and glitch would tell him about DCI headquarters and sh*t. And same for glitch being interested in the technology he has.

Tadashi used to wear the hat before he died, and now hiro wears it. I can kinda imagine him sometimes letting glitch borrow it.

1. For those who have seen Big Hero 6. Hiro had an older brother Tadashi (who in the movie died in a fire). The reason I brought this up is because I kinda see him taking on the big brother role in this sibling trio. He is a prodigy technologist. He is the one with the brains.

my experience with the hazbin/helluva hatedom and how I continued to hate myself from there on TW: vent/s*icide/problematic stuff

I guess I was lowkey kinda young when I found out about Hazbin/helluva (around 2023 and I am a minor around 12-18) I know i shouldn’t be watching that shit and considering how bad the fandom is now with kids I feel guilty but it wasn’t that “big” back then I didn’t like it at first but then I tried it some more there was too many cursing it kinda made me scared for once and a while but I sorta liked it? Maybe because it was my first experience with violent content? Idk ajsjdj

yet little did I know that it would be considered one of the most hated fanabases I seen in my entire life

I guess it was a primary fandom I was really into as embarrassing as it I just fell in love with the characters and lore a little “too fast” this was such a fun fandom to make aus and theories because of how fun the lore was it wasn’t good at all but atleast I had “fun” right? Sometimes now I thinking about it I was too obsessed with it and hell I was so distracted by all the fun stuff about it that I forgot about the criticism in the first place i wasn’t immune I tried to take it by watching videos online but it was….. harsh…. And shit hell sometimes I was kinda immune bc I still needed to continue most of hb lol but…I guess it got to a point where it felt…kinda bad maybe “too” flawed so I got scared I had experience with my interests being despised before and I didn’t want the same to happen again so I tried to defend it and that’s where the creator….comes in…..

Hazbin finally came out and there’s was either love or hate and tbh I got really back into Hazbin bc of the release of it being on “prime” but I knew something didn’t feel right I went on Twitter a lot “too much” actually and i discovered these rumors about her and if I defended these rumors about such terrible things I would just look like such a stupid pathetic dick sucking retard so I forced myself to hate her either way so I forced myself to go online and read “hh/hb critical” content but then I began to hate myself even more they painted her as such a terrible person but i agreed anyway because it was the “truth” but then again she was my idol…my role model….i got so anxious and I never even gave a damn about the shows writing making it even worse when it came to criticism it was noticeable in the show but I choosed the ignore it and when I saw ppl complaining online I felt like a complete pathetic asshole for liking it and what’s worse they would say shit like “she’s manipulative and narcissistic and her fans are nothing but dick riders that are thoughtless and can’t take criticism and deserve to die in a fucking fire” it made me want to absolutely k*ll myself and made me feel like i wasn’t worth living

Diabolik lovers AU where they’re human and normal teens:

Shu: a stoner, he’s so severe depressed he doesn’t know how to roll so he prefers bong hits, Edibles and prerolls. Super antisocial and always listening to music usually RnB old school 90s rap and some old bands as well, he’s that one guy that shows up like 5 times the whole school year. Would have long messy hair cause he wouldn’t cut it. Definitely only wears sweats, hoodies and slides.

Reiji: would be such a try hard overachiever, but acts like he’s all calm and composed. Is doing great in all of his classes because he’s trying to graduate earlier to go to Medical school. A goodie goodie, and lowkey a teachers pet, will purposely sabotage someone if they’re doing better than him. Reminds the teachers to give homework, tells the whole class to stfu when the teacher is talking. He likes to iron all his shirts for school, usually wear button downs, dress pants and dress shoes, hair slick back, he isn’t a big fan of loud sounds so doesn’t like music.

Ayato: Very popular and for all the wrong reasons, he enjoys bullying teachers and often gets in trouble, if he wasn’t such a troublemaker he would’ve been on the basketball team, physical education is the only class he’s doing good in. He likes to smoke weed sometimes with Shu, but he can’t stand the indica strain Shu usually smokes, and Ayato can not hangggg he’ll fall asleep after 4 hits, he knows how to roll too but his favorite drug surprisingly is percs, he likes the boost it gives him but he doesn’t understand how badly he treats other people when he’s off the percs, he likes to dress like a hype beast, expensive clothes and trendy things.

Kanato: that weird kid that literally brings his childhood toy to school and talks to himself, he hissed at people in the hallways and everyone thinks he’s a bit queer, he might be but surprisingly a lot of emo girls have a crush on him and he gets a lot of ACTION. He’s doing great in arts and literature but sucks at sciences and math, will literally scream at the teachers so they have no choice but to pass cause if not he will get them fired somehow, he also dyes his hair every few months and wears eyeliner, listens to screamo rock and wears a lot of band tees and plaid.

Laito: slept with every girl at school, somehow he’s good at convincing them to do so, never dated tho he lacks the emotional commitment, flirts with the teachers and lunch ladies, his signature in every class photo is a wink, he’s a day drinker and drinks at school, sneaking vodka into a water bottle, kanato hisses at him in the hallways, he also wreaks of Dior perfume and wears a lot of brand named luxury clothing, takes him 40 minutes just do to his hair only for him to put on his Gucci fedora, sometimes he’ll smoke a Cuban cigar, he’s doing bad in all his classes but has a girl in each class doing his schoolwork and homework.

Subaru: gives super black cat lone wolf energy but he’s really good at school, all his classes he’s doing really well, he argues with teachers when he thinks the lesson is stupid, enjoys debating but won’t join that club or any club. He sometimes smokes weed with Shu, when Ayato isn’t there since he finds him annoying, rescued a cat once and took care of it and still does, some girls have a crush on him but he’s oblivious to that.

I actually do sometimes enjoy inducing! Tragically though, I rarely have the time or the privacy to do so, so it's usually relegated to special occasions waaaaahhhh. I think I'm kind of inconsistent tbh!! It's always at least 2 in a row these days though. Sometimes they're rapid and back to back, almost overlapping, sometimes there's a torturous pause between them where my nose is just on fire. At most I'll have 4 in a row (naturally), if I'm inducing or using chinkkni tho then it's all out the window, my sneezes are all over the place haha.

Whatever this claymore can be called-

That claymore is called Bunnymoon! Saïx gets that in Days if you equip him with the Mystery Gear, which is said to "draw forth its wielder's personality". I think it's really charming and actually very telling of Saïx's character tbh - that deep down he's a kid that grew up far too soon, that looked to the skies and romanticized space and travel (the rocket) and also is fond of soft and cute things deep down (the rabbit). While the alternate weapons level of canon-ness is dubious at best, I really love how much each weapon shows off aspects of the characters they equate to. The name of Saïx's weapons are very interesting, but Bunnymoon and Just Desserts are very much faves of mine haha

The rabbit motif also comes from the tale of The Rabbit In The Moon, which is an Asian folktale; in said tale, if I remember correctly, a rabbit offers all it can to help a beggar in need, and then offers to sacrifice itself by walking through fire. The beggar turns out to be a god of the sun, and carves the rabbit's likeness into the moon, and so the dark spots on the moon are meant to represent the rabbit's noble nature. Which. feels very fitting to me in a lot of ways haha. There's also Saïx's hair lowkey looking like floppy bunny ears lmao. I like the rabbit connection and I think its a super interesting angle but I tend to relate him to other animals!

Theres obviously the wolf/werewolf motifs and I am always a sucker for that. I'm a gay furry that likes big hairy beasts what can I say. Werewolves 100% do it for me and I really like writing Saïx as wolfish - a pack animal that struggles with such a lack of familiarity around him and so lashes out and forces itself to work so independently, much to its detriment.... I love that Saïx's journal text in KH2 talks of him having a 'savage nature' and, in my writing and lfotr especially, I often characterise Saïx's ability of Berserk as its own thing, a sentient part of him, a werewolf-esque part of his personality that he consciously can understand and interact with almost. Everyone in my chat will tell you tho that I very much have a catboy Isa agenda lmaoooo. Listen. Listen. it stems from the werewolf angle but hear me out. He deserves to purr when he's happy and comfortable. He deserves to knead biscuits on those he loves as he gets comfortable and fall asleep against them. He needs to show affection by gentle headbutting as he goes past. He needs attention, and will hunt for you and bring you gifts, and he should secretly enjoy being petted and that man is a cat hahaha

I think about Smoke too much and my well of ideas is running dry. Do you have any headcanons about Smoke?

I'm sorry nonnie, most of my HCs come from when I write the charactes and put them in situations, or based on snippets of lore we might get. And I don't write Smoke that much, and his recent-ish lore with the whole NH thing made me not like him as much as before 😅

I can give you old HCs I had about him tho, but the probability you've heard about those before is high:

When his elite came out, we got a piece of concept art of him saving a kid from a house fire. I like to think he eventually adopted that kid when he learnt she had no family left. And that's how he got his daughter.

The scar on the back of his head? He got that also during that incident, when jumping out of a window, there were still some pieces of glass in there and one cut his scalp.

I feel like, due to his work (long and suddent deployments/missions) and being a single dad, his daughter basically lives with his parents and he comes visit whenever he's able.

He's the kind of parent that, if his daughter expressed an interest in drugs, he'd give her detailed advice on what and how to try based on his own experiences. Same for drinking, and the sex talk probably. And while he's trying to be helpful and be sure she'll be safe trying that stuff, for a teenager those conversations would be the best deterrent to not do those things, imo 😂

The White Masks somehow found part of his research and the gas they used in Bartlett University looks so much like Smoke's cause it was the same chemical agent. He was very pissed they discovered his work and used it for that, so the fight agains the White Masks was lowkey personal to him.

The incident about his uni burning down he references in one of his voicelines? He was definitely involved in that, a prank gone wrong.

He is lowkey jealous of Mute, since Thatcher seems to have him in a high regard even when he's rude or dimissive. Meanwhile, Smoke feels Thatcher doesn't afford him the same leeway/grace he does to Mute, and berates him a lot more often.

He is a hard person to get close to, due to his flippant attitude when dealing with people, and because he is reckless and kinda inconstant in his actions. I think he has attachement/setting down issues, which were slightly mellowed by him becoming a dad but are still pretty present.
