THE MISSION WAS A SUCCESS. Night and day, she had worked hard to complete it as early as possible. She hadn't properly eaten or slept throughout the whole quest. Whenever she was in a mission, she tended to focus on the objectives, often overlooking her own wellbeing.

        Now that it's over, she heads straight home, needing to rest so badly. She walks to the door listlessly until she spots a glowing bouquet. She crouches down and picks it up, stroking the soft, luminous petals. She sniffs it as it emits a sweet, relaxing aroma. Even without a note, she knows exactly who it's from, understanding the unspoken message behind this gesture.

        ❝Thank you, Jellal,❞ she whispers softly to the florets, as if he's there to hear it.
