I have an idea in my head thats like, considering how very 'we, us' Hermes is about the windbag and how he doesn't confirm he's the one who spoke to Calypso, that maybe it's Athena who talked to her? 'Someone' arrived today...

It's been a hot minute since I wrote fanfiction - wrote anything at all actually - so like, be kind lol.

"I know."

Calypso looks across the room to where a broken and bruised Athena stood, ichor staining bandages. The words the Goddess of Wisdom spoke to her hurt more than the hundreds of times Odysseus had rejected her. He was being 'let go'? He was leaving?

"I saved him." "He's not yours to save." "Why not! He washed up on my shores, it was fate!"

"It was Zeus."

Athena's voice is firm, apologetic, but firm. Calypso knows she's not lying to her - of course, it was Zeus. Of course. Why else would a mortal have reached her unknown paradise. Athena kept speaking, but Calypso felt far away as things fell into place. He wasn't hers, he had never been hers, she had been so patient, persistent but patient, letting him grieve his losses, letting him come to terms - she had talked him down off the cliff so many times. She had been there for him and protected him and listened to him. She had known that his grief made things more difficult, but she had always believed, selfishly, so selfishly, that he was hers.

But no.

She was an unwitting pawn in Zeus's decision. He had given Odysseus to her knowing she would keep him.

Her voice cracks when she speaks again.

"But he's mine."

Athena stops, looking on at her with a mix of frustration and pity - the same look Odysseus had given her a dozen times over. Of course, he was her friend, he had told her that. They must have rubbed off on one another, that is what happens when you are around people - she presumes at least.

"Calypso," Athena says, with the same tone as her Ody used a dozen times over, and Calypso can't stand it. She clenches her fists, body shaking with emotion as she shouts back.

"No! It's not fair! I love him! He's mine! I love him! I love him! He's my world! I gave him what he needed! He needed me!"

Athena raises her hands, a warrior's stance prepared to protect herself as best she could in her weakened state - but her face twists in confusion as Calypso simply sinks to the ground crying.

"His family needs him." Athena says, half reaching towards her, half ready for an attack.

"I need him." Calypso sobs - she hasn't cried like this in years, had vowed to herself that she wouldn't, but she can't stop. "He could love me. I won't let him go you can't, make me!"

"He doesn't love you, Calypso. He has to go home, his family is waiting. By Zeus's order, he's leaving. You can't keep him trapped here anymore."

Calypso presses her hands to her face, years of emotions tearing through her body. She doesn't want to go back - she can't go back! Not to the loneliness, to the waiting, to the sky and sun being her only companions.

But she has no choice.

She aches. A part of her resolves not to drop the magic she's had keeping Odysseus here, she doesn't have to let him go! Zeus may have divined it but she was the one in control here. She could do it. She lifts her head up defiantly, ready to deny Athena her request.

But for the first time ever, she feels someone touch her.

Ody has touched her, of course. He's pushed her away, hugged her back, rested his head on her shoulder once or twice when he was breaking down and she held him. But he's never touched her first. Nobody ever has.

But Athena is.

Athena cradles her face in her hands, looking into her eyes and speaking softly.

"You'll be fine."

Calypso doesn't believe her, but the defiance leaves her. She shuts her eyes, leaning into Athena's touch before the Goddess of Wisdom pulls away.

She knows Athena is gone before she opens her eyes - of course she is, Calypso let go of the restraints. Ody can leave paradise.

Leave her.

The yawning pit of time begins to swallow her whole, but she walks dutifully to the beach to find him one last time.

LMAOO i read this request as you want the gossip that I personally have which i do have tons of i LOVE gossiping its so bad my prev manager had to do a callout on the staff bc we all gossiped way too much but like. if you dont want us to gossip about you maybe dont be married SEVEN times??? /lh ofc idgaf

Zayne isn't much for gossip. He doesn't mind listening to you if you've got something to say but he doesn't ever seek out tea unfortunately. You know there just has to be some juicy gossip at the hospital - and you're not even talking about the patients you tell him whenever he talks to you about medical confidentiality - but he refuses to indulge you.

However, that doesn't mean he's safe from it at work. The other staff get bored and things get messy sometimes! He ends up passively absorbing gossip through the others, coming home and giving it to you in small doses.

You can't believe that he's gossiping - even if it's more like he tells you something then goes to do something else because as far as he's concerned he doesn't really know anything else about the situation so he can't answer your questions. That doesn't stop you from theorising with him, asking him what he thinks is more likely as you run through a bunch of theories.

Xavier doesn't gossip actively with you but if you start pointing things out to him he starts paying more attention. If you mention something seems suspicious the next time he's near that person he'll gently pry information out of them, providing you with the answers that you so desperately crave.

He doesn't mind it at all when you tell him the gossip that you've collected. He'll respond with the information he's pulled, you very happily taking in all of it. He just likes the fact that it makes you happy - and the fact that he doesn't have to learn a bunch of new people's names since most of the gossiping you do is about people from work.

He finds himself looking at everybody with a different perspective, especially if he's learned something especially salacious about them. He won't make it obvious that he knows something so nobody would even know it's happening, but he definitely has his thoughts on certain things.

Rafayel LOVES gossip. He LIVES for it. You don't even have to say anything for him to be calling you over because he heard something SO slimy while he was at a show today.

He gets bored of the regular scandals - cheating spouses, hidden assets - he loves hearing the messier things and getting details if he can. He's very good at pulling information out of people so he also secretly gets all the tea so he can come home and give it all to you.

If you have tea then he wants to hear everything about it. He doesn't care if he doesn't know these people and never will - he wants you to pull out photos and give him real names. He will also ask about how things develop if it's an ongoing story. The only time his memory works well is if it's something about you, or some new gossip you've given him.

"i'm so sorry angel i didn't mean to forget. vocal practice ran late and i was just so tired that i went straight back to the dorm and fell asleep and i didn't wake up to my alarm-" he rambles on trying to explain himself for skipping their date. y/n couldn't help but smile at his adorable, apologetic state. "hey, it's okay hoon. don't worry" they say. "its not okay! you're upset and i'm such a shitty boyfriend!" they feel bad for him as he clearly felt terrible for the accident. they calmly explain to him "babe, im not upset. it was an innocent mistake. i'd much rather you get rest and accidentally miss our date, then not get rest and come tired or completely forget and we fight. its okay. i'm not mad.". "are you sure you're not mad?" he asks. "not at all" they say, smiling faintly at their worried boyfriend. he responds with a smile back, the adorable fangs that had charmed y/n peeking through. "come on, i expect serious cuddles after our missed date" y/n half jokes, "i couldn't think of a better way to make it up to you" sunghoon replies, the adoring tone clear in his voice. he loved his partner, and he couldn't think of a better way to spend his night then cuddling and watching movies with the person he loved most in this world.

I’ll give you an example…. I read this Reddit post about a gf who convinced her bf females shed skin during their periods (she was wearing a face mask at the time), and got her bf’s sister/mother/female friends in on the joke. They all went along with it or months and the poor guy thought it was true until he brought it up during dinner and his Dad was like WTF?! Who told you that??? Lmao. There was a rock in Ginny's shower.

Not like a pebble, or a piece of gravel or something that would be equally confusing, but maybe easier to explain. This was a solid three inch by three inch, light gray, porous, circular rock in the corner of the bath.

Harry had eyed the thing curiously over the span of several weeks. It moved every so often, which made him think it was either sentient or useful in someway. It was also always a little bit damp, sometimes even sudsy, which made him think Ginny used it during her washing routine. This had him testing the hypothesis on himself, but scrubbing the rock down his forearm didn't result in any extra cleansing, it just fucking hurt. So, he ruled that one out.

Then he wondered if it didn't have some magical purpose, like a wizard shortcut, but he asked Ron, and his best mate didn't have a clue. Which brought Harry back to square one.

For about two months, the mystery of the stone in Ginny's shower remained just that. A mystery. Until one night, after joining her in the bath post spectacular sex, he finally worked up the nerve to ask.

Grabbing the rock from the shelf, he held it up between them. "What is this thing?"

Ginny frowned at him and blinked several times in confusion.

"Is it alive? Does it do anything? What do you use it for?"

Ginny sucked her lips between her teeth to bite back a smile. "What do you think I use it for?"

"I don't know!" Harry replied dramatically. "I thought maybe it was for the soaps and things, but its too rough to use as a sponge. But it moves around, so obviously you use it. Either that or it's taken up residence in your shower and you have a pet rock you've never told me about, which fine, whatever, but it can't just be here for no reason..."

Ginny nodded along, her grin growing harder and harder to hide.

"What?" Harry asked. "Is it something obvious and I'm being a muppet?"

"No," she interjected and her face contorted into something like sympathy.

"Well, then what?" He turned it end over end in his hands to examine it. "Because I can't figure it out. Does it absorb bad smells? Does it clean when we aren't looking? Does it ward off evil spirits?"

Snorting, Ginny plucked it from his grasp and stared up at him with wide eyes. "I'll tell you, alright, but you can't laugh."

"Why would I laugh?"

"It's sort of..." she hesitated, "superstition."

Harry pinched his brows together. "Like a normal superstition or a Luna superstition?"

She winced. "Luna superstition."

Smoothing his grimace, he listened to her explanation with steadily increasing wonder...

"It's just getting worse," Hermione complained from her spot on the sofa. "I don't think I can keep going on like this. It's completely demoralizing."

"It's just a slump," Ginny answered. "It's not like you've had a ton of great options to begin with."

"Yes, that is the demoralizing part."

Harry backed away from the conversation slowly, unsure of how to engage with the subject matter of one of their best friend's, frankly miserable, dating life. Hermione had always been so sure of herself, and so independent, he hadn't ever considered that she truly wanted to date someone for real. After her and Ron had broken up, she seemed put off by the whole undertaking.

Which, fair. Harry had abhorred dating. So, he could relate.

Sometime recently, though, she must have decided to put herself out there. Only it seemed she wasn't impressed or particularly taken with any of her choices.

A spark of an idea curled through the back of his mind, and he turned toward the stairs to mount the steps two at a time. Charging into his and Ginny's bathroom, he found what he was looking for in moments. He supposed they could loan it out, at least until Hermione could get one of her own.

It wasn't like he and Ginny exactly needed it anymore.

Returning to the sitting room, Harry marched past the armchair and presented his gift with assured conviction.

Hermione stopped talking abruptly and looked at the stone in Harry's hand in unmitigated confusion. Meanwhile, Ginny made a choking noise and clapped a hand over her mouth.

"Take it," Harry urged, but she still looked utterly bewildered. "It's-- well, it's not exactly incontestable, but it seemed to work for us. Maybe... you could give it a go?"

Hermione's expression didn't change, but she accepted Harry's gift anyway.

"A pumice stone?" she asked, looking to Ginny for clarification. Ginny, for her part, seemed unable to speak; her shoulders shaking and her cheeks as red as a tomato.

Harry took over the responsibility of explaining. "If you keep it damp and keep it close to where you... you know-- it'll bring you luck and... you know... the other things, too."

"Sorry, I'm not quite understanding." Hermione blinked several times very quickly. "You think a pumice stone brings you sex luck?"

"Yeah," Harry swallowed down his discomfort and shifted his gaze to Ginny in a plea for help. Only she was full on convulsing now, her entire upper body shaking with...

Laughter.

His realization must have showed on his face because Ginny lost all semblance of control and dissolved into a fit of giggles.

"Oh, christ--" he swore loudly. "I can't believe this. What does it actually do?"

"It's for your feet!" Hermione cried, her own grin stretching across her face.

"Your what?" Harry replied, his horror growing with each second.

"Your feet!" Hermione said again, then she threw the rock at Ginny's middle. Ginny caught it and, if possible, laughed even harder.

"FEET?" Harry roared. "What does that do for your feet!?"

Ginny sucked in a gasping breath and cackled, "You scrub the callouses, you absolute moron!"

He threw his hands into the air in embarrassment and frustration. "Oh for fuck's sake, what else have you tricked me into?"

"No!" Ginny bellowed through tears of laughter. "Nothing, I swear!"

"I got one of those for Ron last Christmas!"

"You what!?" Ginny and Hermione shrieked at the same time.

"He and Padma had just--" Harry clenched his teeth, grinding his molars in mortification. "This is unbelievable. "

"Oh, Harry," Ginny keened. "I'm sorry, okay? But think of it this way, we didn't actually need luck at all!"

Shaking his head, he grumbled a few choice words under his breath and turned his back on the uncontrollable giggles still echoing from the couch.

Hello hi I noticed ppl just say stuff abt Nagito here and u answer them in such a nice way like u're genuinely interested and its so sweet so I wanna share a THEORY that's been rotting in my head for long and I WANNA SPEAK IT OUT FOR OTHER SDR2 ENJOYERS TO TELL ME ABOUT THEIR OPINION

SO we noticed how Nagito and Sonia look STRANGELY alike like bruh maybe the danganronpa art style has like, same face syndrome or smthn idk but like cmon pls Nagito and Sonia they almost look like twins which I love bcuz they're both honestly so well designed anyway

In my very personal headcanon, they're actually siblings. That's what I think and I'm gonna explain my theory below

So we know abt Nagito's good luck bad luck cycle. And I thought, what if Nagito is the first child of Sonia's parents, and since they live in a castle and in this royal like environment they'd have a sort of tradition running in the family and whenever a new child is born, they'd go to a sort of fortune teller or clairvoyant like those ppl who see in a crystal ball or idk ANYWAY

So they go to their personal clairvoyant guy idk bruh and the person tells them about Nagito's misfoturne cycle. Like he's born with it it's unfair it's sad but yeah poor little Nagito

So Sonia's parents are like omg no this can't be happening we love our son but who knows what his cycle may cause to us?!?! Only God knows!!! What if because of him the castle like burns or something or something very bad happens so they're like yeah we love you bby boy but you gotta go we're so sorry and they like, give him? Idk what correct terms to use excuse me

So they give him to a wealthy family still bcuz like yeah poor Nagito he's born in a royal family then better keep him on a high social statu yknow so yeah they give him to another family and made sure to try and find a first, WEALTHY family and second, with parents who kinda look like him like at least the mother and they did don't ask me how but they did they have like contacts in Japan bruh idk my theory's not very elabored anyway

So little Nagito, who's still like, a few months old like maybe 4 or 5 months bcuz finding a new family takes time gets given away to a wealthy family AND I have another headcanon and its that Nagito's father (adoptive one so) is the founder of a designer/luxury brand so thats why he's rich and he already had contacts w Junko's parents anyway we're getting carried away

So yeah some time later Sonia's parents have Sonia and still have Nagito in mind and they're feeling super guilty and with Sonia looking awfully like him its not helping so yeah I think they'd keep like letters they'd write to Nagito to send him when he'd get older and signed anonymously yknow? Like "we hope you're growing up in good conditions and in a nice environment, we love you Nagito" stuff like that, and It's signed anonymously at the end

And then Sonia and Nagito meet during the game and notice the very visible not only physical but also the similarities in their personality and behavior like idk they're both a little silly its so cute and they're like "lol hold up" and it'd be cute if the other students would (lightheartedly) joke abt these two being siblings WHEN IT'S THE CASE

haha it did entertain me, this is a fun interpretation and headcanon. I don’t fully see it myself but I think it’s a fun idea and food for thought. Maybe in those turn of events it would truly be good luck in the end since Nagito’s biological family in this interpretation didn’t have to die due to his talent. Omgggg I just saw your Striker post about all the theories AND YOU GET ITTTTTT

The recent surge in Striker has royal blood bc of Satan’s reveal has been wild bc we haven’t even seen the dude’s face to truly confirm if they look alike (but ppl are saying so anyway). Like I’m not against this theory entirely, I think there’s a couple ways it COULD work but everything you said about it diminishing so much of Striker’s character and story HITS THE NAIL ON THE HEAD because that’s exactly what this would do.

So much of Striker’s character has been built around his vendetta, his hatred for bluebloods, his reputation, and how’s he’s an example of just how bad things in Hell can get for an Imp like him BECAUSE of them being on the bottom of the hierarchy.

His story fits better as just some dude who wants more for himself because he feels he deserves more than what scraps are handed to him but the society he lives in just constantly beats him down despite his efforts (or the narrative in some cases LMAO). He wants so desperately to be somebody in a world where he’s forced to be nobody at the bottom. It’s why he admired Blitz back HMF for building his own business.

The fact he’s still grieving and is still very angry over what happened to him to the point he physically and violently reacts whenever his hypocrisy is called out (Stolas & Fizz) shows that things go deeper than simply not getting a parents approval or being abandoned.

Not to mention if Striker had blue blood in him, you would think he’d have some strings to pull to not live in the cave he resides in or he’d be recognized more outside of his wanted posters.

There’s just a lot that this idea contradicts about Striker’s character that we already know and I’m so glad you put it into words.

uhmmmmm sitting in the wards base. I think they spend. all of their time out of costume there. none of them really have. family to go home to (with the exception of . william and ashe but I don't imagine they exactly WANT to spend time at home. considering.) so they spenddd all day every day out of costume with each other. i think william and dakota were paired together first and they just naturally clicked with each other right away because they balanced out each other's energy pretty well. hence the extreme codependency qpr. then vycnent joined and he was a little prickly at first bc he didn't rlly know the city or what he was doing there or what his powers were and maybe he already had a habit of distancing himself from people due to the nature of his powers. but obv he comes around eventually and william has his gay little crush and here they are sitting smushed together in the same arm chair watching a movie on the big tv together. dakota is snoring honk shoo style. then WAYYY later ashe joins and william is the prickly petty one. dakota takes to him rlly fast just bc dakota loves everyone very loudly and easily. vyncent took a little longer but appreciated ashes chill personality so clicked with that pretty quickly. william had a one sided rivalry with ashe for a little bit and didn't trust him. however now they are ride or die emos and will parallel play by sitting leaning on each other back to back on the couch doing completely separate activities and not speaking to each other. the new haven wards literally always have to be touching each other in some capacity when out of costume amazon listing do not separate they have SUCH BAD separation anxiety please

I completely understand your frustration though; don't worry, Yang won't stay this way forever! I knew he wouldn't be able to if I wanted Yin's happy ending to actually happen lmaoo (not saying that she can't have a happy one without Yang, just that I want her to have her family back 😭)

I feel like, out of all the bosses, Yang has probably suffered the most from his talisman's corruption, but he's also done his fair share of indulging in his own delusions and denial, so it's a mix of things. And speaking of that, one of the reasons why I wrote him like this is based on the virtue (from the Five Constant Virtues) that he's associated with, which is sincerity (or faithfulness, truthfulness). The basic definition of that is having your words line up with your actions, being in touch with reality, and not giving in to self-serving delusions. Each boss lacks their own respective virtue; I just amped it up to eleven for Yang loll 😂

Well, the experience is really quite vastly different for every person on HRT.

For me, it was one of the best choices I have ever made in my life. I was hopelessly and horribly dysphoric for my whole life to the point of nearly not being able to function (dysphoria coupled with severe mental illnesses is for sure A Bad Time) and I was lucky enough to be able to get on it fairly early, thank God because I probably would not have lasted longer-apologies for that dark subject but it is necessary to mention for how much it turned my life around entirely.

I am still not fully transitioned to my liking per sé, as the full range of Testosterone's complete effects is a maximum of 5 years according to my research. I have been on it for nearly 2 years now. I plan to be on it for the rest of my life if possible, as I'd like all effects to stay forever-- I fucking ADORE every second of it, honestly I'm not afraid of needles either like most are so I literally get ecstatic & excited every time it's time to inject LOL!! Probably a weird reaction but--it legit makes me wanna throw a party every time those 2 weeks pass & it is time to.

(Not all forms of HRT have to be injected however, though it is the "strongest, most evenly distributed form" especially if done every 2 weeks instead of every 1 week,

as my doctor described it, which made me choose it--and coupled w my lack of giving a shit about injecting lmaoo)

I have had a lot of effects, I am also finally growing actual facial hair which is nice-though I learned I prefer my face clean-shaven or at least mostly, which is a hilarious twist tbh as I thought I'd want a full beard. I'm cool with both but I definitely prefer how I look without, so I shave every now & then currently.

My body looks entirely different, at least my shoulders and arms HELLA, I've had strong asf cis men say I'm built better than them which gives me giggle-fits of pridefulness LMAO--im petty ig--

but anyway to get to the true point--I would not be where I am today or perhaps here at all, myself, if I didn't go on it and exactly when I did. I am so extremely grateful for it occurring and that I have access to it at all--I am honestly hardly feeling dysphoria except on Really Bad days when it still hits me. Even things I should be dysphoric about and was in the past, idgaf about now. My chest barely bothers me now, and used to be my personal Hell. I have even decided to not do top surgery in the future which is... really bizarre as I was DESPERATE for it before (however this most-dysphoria-removal effect seems to be rare, so don't expect it to "cure" dysphoria, it didn't for me either but I'd say reduced it by like 90% or something lol. But most don't have that strong of a reaction)

My advice for you and every trans person on the fence about it, would be do a CRAP TON of research, on its every effect, type, etc. and talk to or read about/etc. as many people you can find who can give their opinions on their own experiences-as everyone has a different story!

If it is a "HELL YES" after that, then definitely go through with it. If there is still doubt, I'd wait. There is no rush as you can always decide to begin in the future

Know though, that if you do start it, but wish to stop later,

in some ways there's a "reset button",

but in some ways there is not.

Some effects will reverse if you stop taking T, like the fat & muscle redistribution, etc.

however some will stay, for example any body or facial hair that develops will then grow forever as the follicle is "activated" (male hair is a different subtype of hair, so once it's made it can't be reversed) and etc.

Be aware of which effects do this, and just in general, get as much information you can gather.

This info-gathering also has the added bonus, of impressing TF out of your endocrinologist if you do happen to choose to go the route of beginning taking it--

During the consultation, they'll ask if you know about it well, and for me, I began on a spiel of the things I knew & how much I researched because I was so excited to begin and how much it would help me.

By my Dr's reaction she was blown away by my very informed decision, that I had thought about it VERY hard, & I think that is what assisted me greatly in acquiring the prescription for it so fast.

Basically, if they either know or just think you are going into this without much context or don't seek it passionately, they think you may change your mind and that you're "going through a phase" or that you can't consent due to not enough information that you know on it for such a majour medical decision.

If you come in confident asf that this is what you need, and you're like "Yeah I know this, I got this shit locked down" they know they're dealing with someone who is very damn sure this is the path they need, and thus the doctor doesn't have to worry nor explain more, which speeds everything up.

Oops, I was 100% gonna make Aryadne/Egwene hcs and storyline in this modern au but then Perrin snuck in and stole my heart so here we are im putting it under read more for those that want to scroll by:

In this modern au, how I approach the dragon reborn is that Moiraine is looking for a CEO for Damodred Company (what they do we will not discuss lmaoo, its barely a plot point anyway.) And though Aryadne is right there, wanted this position for years, Moiraine goes "I'm bringing the top 5 students (because yes this is college kids)" and Aryadne is offended.

Aryadne has an off and on friends with benefits relationship with Dain Bornhald, who is falling for her but she feels no emotional connection for that man. Sorry to that man lmaooo but we don't care for him.

And when Aryadne and Berden (btw he didn't want the CEO position, actually doesn't care for it all) meet the five (Mat, Egwene, Rand, Nynaeve, and Perrin). And that meet-up is Perrin heart eyes for Aryadne (intrigued being less dramatic) and Aryadne being interested in Egwene (doesn't this scenario sound familiar).

Aryadne feels betrayed by her cousin/best friend, Elayne, and twin brother, Berden, getting along with the Five just fine and slowly, grudgingly does to (Mat is such an asshole when Aryadne actually holds a conversation. "Are you melting, princess? Was that a laugh?" "I can go back to ignoring you.")

Tho she and Nynaeve are arguing more than anything. She can't stand Rand ("How the hell is he one of the TOP 5!?") But he comes through Time and time again, and she sees him as kid brother by the end of it.

Egwene and Aryadne find out they're not compatible, but Aryadne is not taken it well because this is her first relationship that actually tries in, and Egwene feels bad, so they're currently awkward.

Perrin and Aryadne???? Slow very slow friends, meetings they agree with each other but Perrin quietly agrees with her (Rand and Mat gives him so much shit.) And then it's little things like "hey want to get some coffee after this?" Or "hey nice seeing outside the office and campus (cause everybody is again college kids)" and then cause I love drama, Dain and Perrin are friends and don't even realize they're talking about the same girl. Dain talking about how he's trying to get Aryadne to realize that he wants more in their relationship, and Perrin wondering if he should bother cause Aryadne can be dismissive at times even if she does talk to him more than anybody else in the 5. And the two are giving each other advice on handle the situation. And because Aryadne has made herself clear about her relationship with Dain, several times, and despite Perrin's good advice, Aryadne ends the relationship.

And with Dain's good advice, Aryadne and Perrin hits it off great 😂😂. Definitely can see Perrin and Aryadne on a date and Dain happens upon them and Perrin is introducing them and Aryadne cuts him off and is like "how do you know Dain?" And Dain delusional ass is like "You're the one that stole my girl?"

And Dain thinking that Perrin sabotage him to get with Aryadne, and he's like "you want to be with a mutt?"

Since my Spanish is actually Chilean, and I grew up with dubbed neutral series or with Mexicanisms, I can understand them very well, and of course, like all healthy rivalries, we laugh at castellano (the way we call Spanish from Spain to differentiate it).

unrealistically overpowered harry.

alternatively, harry that is sooooo slytherin and dark that all his base characters are just whoosh, gone into the void.

Look, i love slytherin!harry. but going overboard to the point of completely altering his entire character to the point of no existing similarity other than his name- is not my cup of tea. Like yes, harry is powerful indeed, but to a level. Like some fics really be like: "Harry Potter could perform legilimency from 5 years old and killed the grindelwald with a non verbal wandless avada kedevra at age 11." I especially get this SOOO MUCH when searching for powerful!harry fics with tomarry or any other ships. Its like they wash out and weaken all the other powerful characters to put the spotlight on harry. You know whats more powerful? Harry struggling to survive with the other powerful characters against him but emerging out victorious with a crippling fight. That's our Harry. I love his original character, along with all his flaws and tragedies. A few tweaks are invited but soul-transformation? No.

Also while we're at it, the whole Hadrian Potter-Black-Gryffindor-Peverell thing. Like, please no. Maybe my opinions will change in future though, so who cares lmao.

Edit (i remembered this while answering c7): Shipping hermione with absolutely all Male characters in the entire fucking series. (It gets on my nerves.)

Yes actually. Loads of things.

1. Bad grammar 2. Above mentioned Harry irks. 3. Strictly bottom Harry, esp it's drarry. 4. Ginny bashing. 5. Severitus

Overly sexualising Draco, making him out to be the straight fuckboy. Dramione fics. (I'm sorry but that wizard is anything but straight.)

ALSO, Snape HERO worship and alternatively making him out to be the WORST GUY in the series. (He's a grey character. There's nothing more to him then grey. He's no hero. And he doesn't have the flair of a villain.)

Mrs. Weasley. Snape. (Most people write them in extremities. I don't like extremities. )

(Kinda hermione and Luna, but if written well, I'd be absolutely invested.) I've yet to read more hermione and Luna centric fics honestly, so that's on me.

(I'm not gonna lie, in some fics I've read, they're really well written. Like, in No Glory by ObsidianPen (hermione), Wackspurts Aren't Real, But I Am by merrivale (luna), Hauntingly by ObsidianPen (snape). Mind you they are all side characters in all these fics.)

chapter 30 has me CLIMBING the WALLS

the visceral uncomfortableness of a dead silent car ride with these two,,,, i can not even begin to imagine it. the tension in there was so heavy and so dense i’m shocked it didnt make a black hole

first thought when naoya took a suddenly different turn on the street was “oh so we’re getting murdered in an alleyway??? left to die??” he does not come off with good vibes for himself at ALL. luckily its just for more doctors appointments. deeply sorry to every individual that had to be around these twos painfully obvious rift

EVERYTIME NAOYA TRIED TO TALK TO HER… i know hes done nothing to properly redeem himself but ohmygod i can feel the awkward pains. kudos to him for not just like bursting into tears in the elevator when she turned away. i would’ve been a mess.

i’m gonna THROTTLE this doctor (also y/n girl i get the frustration but what did you WANT him to SAY for you on the cheating question,,, if he speaks over you to answer i know you aren’t going to like that either he can NOT win this one,,,) - and also the one time naoya pulls himself together to assist by showing the ultrasound that gets just shot down as well. we are on a losing battle. naoya stans stay losing 😔

incredible balls to try for the “wanna get something to eat?” a SECOND time. that play failed MISERABLY last time and its already been a string of horrible events today but lets GO king!!🗣️💯🔥give us nothing!! 🔥🔥❗️💯

but am i hallucinating or is naoya… also hesitant about that? i know that its just two words “Naoya swallows” but it SOUNDS like he’s got just. the barest hint. the barest idea that perhaps,,, maybe,, that would be a bad thing to do. now if he knows the WHY of why it would be bad is a completely different question, but it at least reads as if he faintly understands he should NOT do that again.

And I’m pretty sure that’s what Y/N thought too when they headed somewhere else lol she has long accepted that nothing good will come from him (but she didn’t expect it to happen so soon!!! She feared Hitomi and Haruko were going to be like GODDAMN IT I TOLD YOU TO NOT GO. Also, wasn't Naobito in charge of that!!?!?!) but thank God it was just him doing (1) of his many commitments towards Y/N, which considering whom they came from, mean nothing.

I’d hate to be the person attending them :s luckily… we’ll have something of that perspective next chapter (if I don’t discard it 🤭)

The worst part of Naoya’s continuous failing attempts would definitely have to be the way Y/N just turned away hahahah I was like DAMN girl, even if she was somewhat afraid of doing anything because of his outburst she really did that. And Naoya took it lmao straight to the heart. Good.

As for Naoya crying… heh. 😊 I just realized we haven’t seen him do that… interesting, I think you might like that one chapter.

The whole doctor thing was just awful. He was really out there, jabbing at anyone he could 😳 I’m surprised he didn’t kick it up a notch and slander Toji too. Though I think Naobito was like “No, Naoya is sensitive and he might actually kill you so chill, I still have use for you” lol

I’ll still defend Y/N by saying she hasn’t cheated on Naoya but…. I mean, the emotional department… that’s long gone hahahahahahahahahahhahahaahhahahaha Still, wtf is this man going over and over about that particular topic? Like, we get it. You want to know. Ok, sure, maybe she’s gotten something but these two for sure haven’t so NEXT. Shouldn't we be talking about Naoya in that sense???

As for the ultrasound part, I actually was like “huh, impressive Naoya decided to actually stand up and do something” maybe to get his money’s worth, or probably to reveal “WHAT THE HELL DO THESE THINGS MEAN????? IS THERE A BABY THERE OR NOT” get outta here... and how he reacted to the rest of the procedures I was just like yep, there he is... usual Naoya.

This man is grasping at straws at this point, inviting her out to eat was the evidence of that lol. If Y/N was a bit more… assertive and fearless, she would’ve been like “are you serious right now? You want me to get sentenced to death again? Sir, I only have one life, GOODBYE”

As for the “test her condition”… it’s the doctor instigating Y/N and Naoya again with Naoaki lol. I don’t know what this man is thinking, seriously. Probably that Y/N was abstaining to do the deed in a more pleasurable way 🤮and the way he was disappointed that there was no heartbeat or a fetus in there wtf lol.

Naoya is hesitant because of Naoaki more than anything, as well as the fact that he can’t get near Y/N at all, his father’s conditions for her survival looming in the back of his mind.

If it helps to give some peace of mind, Naoya does not have it in him to force himself on Y/N again, at least… not now. Because he knows if he crosses that line again, she’ll definitely run towards Naoaki and never leave, and his marriage is DONE. GONE. (can’t be a good person just cause, eh??)

Both characters are on a really tight spot, but I guess in an emotional distress Naoya is in the worse position as of right now. (Y/N is used to it in a way, while he’s barely comprehending what’s going on around him, he's got a whoooole world of turmoil to comprehend, and more to come lmao)

But as you said, we're out here cheering for Naoya lmao!!! Indeed, go give us nothing 😂😂 And the way you described Naoya as a chihuahua... lmao, couldn't be more accurate.
