Tumblr media
You feel it when Jason returns.
No one else seems to. The Bat (his… family?) doesn’t sense anything is different, but you do.
And just as quickly as you feel him, he’s lost. His grave is empty. You scour Gotham for him, his body, anything. But he’s gone. Stolen.
If you were more powerful, free from this wretched body, you would find him. Hunt down whoever took him, then bring him back to Gotham, so he might rest.
For a short day, your limbs had felt like flesh. The void that is your mouth had smiled. You were human again.
Jason is lost. You scream in mourning.
Tumblr media
He’s back.
You’re awake.
Tumblr media
“Go through the side!”
Hood’s men scramble to obey, armed and ready. They’ve planned this ambush for three and a half weeks. Black Mask made himself scarce after Hood made it clear he wouldn’t leave him alone. You watched in pride and worry as Jason threw himself into his revenge.
He’s stronger than in your memory. He’s big, bigger than most opponents. Bigger than the Bat. He’s good with a weapon. Good in combat. Scarred all over. Brutal.
But he’s angry and hurt, and he’s human. He may have the Pit inside of him, but he is no monster. You would know.
The Bat is hunting him. You will tear him apart, if necessary. You will tear apart anyone who hurts Jason.
You slip through the shadows, letting your limbs stretch as long as they can. They make awful shrieking noises when you stretch too far, and it makes the men below nervous.
One of Jason’s men looks right at you. You look back. He gasps and runs back to the van.
These men are loyal but they’re nowhere near strong enough to protect Jason. You’d prefer to eat them all, but Jason seems to trust them. So you gut a lackey in a clown mask and silently remain on the highest balcony across the street from Black Mask’s lair.
Once, you permitted yourself to watch Jason in his apartment, in his bed, while he slept. He cried through a nightmare. You tried to chase the nightmare away, but you’d only made it worse. He awakened, sweating and gasping, and screamed as soon as he saw you.
You haven’t revealed yourself since.
You are lonely. You want to die. You’ve wanted to die for a long time.
But you won’t. Not before you see Jason home safe.
Automatic gunfire echoes from the lair. You rush to the unlit side of the building. You peer in through the window.
It’s mostly Black Mask’s men on the floor, bleeding. You slip inside to eat the death.
“The fuck is that?!”
You look up just as three bullets pass through you. You scowl at the offending gunman, who drops his gun and runs. Rude.
You wouldn’t normally enter like this, make your presence so obvious. If someone were looking for you, they could easily track you after tonight.
But nothing matters except Jason.
There’s shouting outside. You soar to the ceiling and through the skylight.
“Shit, shit, fuck! Boss! Boss, you alright?”
“Shut the fuck up, Garett,” Jason says, helmeted head lolling against the brick. Three of his men crowd him.
You speed to the shadow, carefully avoiding the light casted by the overhead streetlight. You’ve stepped in one before and the fluorescent lights sting.
Jason is bleeding from his gut, where his armor separates to allow movement.
You creep closer. If you still had a heart, it would beat fast. You remember how it felt. You don’t feel fear often these days, but now you know for sure that it was never gone.
You scream.
The streetlight shatters. Jason and his men cover their ears, shouting in pain. His men start to bleed from their ears. It doesn’t take much for you to strike them down, knock them into a fitful slumber.
“Who’s there?”
Jason immediately pulls out his gun, despite his injury. You try to stay on his side, so he won’t have to see your yellow, bottomless eyes. You’d close your eyes if you weren’t so afraid of hurting Jason further.
“I ain’t scared of you!” he says, and you’d be inclined to believe him if your teeth weren’t peeking out at the scent of his fear.
You swallow and focus on his injury. You stretch your fingers to two thin points. Then you reach into his stomach and pull out the bullet.
Jason yells in pain and fires. You ignore it and keep going.
“Sssssss-sssor–ry,” you rasp.
Jason turns his head and looks right at you. He panics, trying to squirm away. You quickly hold him down so your fingers won’t rip through his intestine.
“Let go a’me! Let go!”
He fires until the cartridge is empty. You are crying.
“Sss-sssor-sssorry.” Then you sear Jason’s wound closed.
That’s when he passes out, the pain overwhelming him. Black tears run down your face and join the dark.
As soon as the wound is cauterized, you slink to the darkest corner of the city, inside an abandoned warehouse.
You let yourself grow into your full form, showing your claws and exposed tendons and the hole in your chest.
Then you cry, cry, cry. The windows explode, the bricks become dust, and still, you cry into the rubble. You cry until morning.
Tumblr media
You can’t stop.
You should. You’re fearsome and ugly and Jason is already entrenched in grief. You’ll only make him worse.
But after the ambush, you can’t rest. You have tried to return to the dirt, to where you had lain for so long. You swim to the bottom of the ocean and try to sleep with the creatures there. That doesn’t work either.
So you follow Jason instead. You follow him every night on patrol. You snipe anyone who gets too close, intending to harm. Jason returns home with a full magazine, most nights. You know he should take care of his adversaries on his own to keep in practice, but you throw up iridescent black oil when you try to let go and not protect him.
“I know you’re there.”
You’re crouched on an apartment’s fire escape two stories above. Jason has stopped. He’s been frozen for several minutes.
You look around, trying to find who Jason sees. But the alley is empty.
“I know…” Jason takes a shaky breath. “I know you’re there. I feel ya watchin’ me.”
Then he takes off his helmet and tosses it aside. He takes off his holsters and removes his knives and tasers and drops those next to his helmet.
You crawl on all fours down the apartment building, claws scraping the brick. You can smell his fear from here.
You rattle a loose screw at the end of your climb. Jason turns in your direction. He gasps, eyes wide.
You freeze. Neither of you move for a long minute.
“You’ve been followin’ me,” he says.
You nod. You’re not sure if he can see you in the dark.
“Who—what are you?”
You crawl closer. Jason wants to move away, you can tell, but he doesn’t.
On your hands, you come up to his head. You wish you could make yourself smaller.
Jason swallows hard, chest rising and falling quickly.
You’re not good at speaking. You used to be. Used to have all the words. Now they’re gone. Your tongue is too big for your mouth.
“I feel… shit, I feel like I know ya,” he says. “You know me?”
“Rrrrrrrob–rrobiiii—robiiiiin.”
He inhales sharply. “Yeah. You knew me then?”
You reach for him. Careful. So careful. You use the blunt side of your claw to touch Jason’s scarred cheek. He’s so warm. So full of light.
He steps back. Your hand falls.
You start to cry. You can’t help it.
Your claws dig into the pavement, tearing through asphalt.
“Waaaan–wantttttt. Tttt. Jaaaayy. WAN—TTTT. WA—JAY. WANNN—”
You try to speak softly, but it comes out like a shriek. Jason grunts in pain, covering his ears. Red seeps through his fingers.
You stumble backwards at the sight. You must go. You must try again and see if the ocean will take you.
“Wait! Wait, wait!”
Jason runs around, holding up his hands in front of you. You stop, black tears pooling into a puddle at his feet.
“It’s okay. It’s alright. I know you.”
You want to speak but you’ll hurt him if you do. So you cry in silence. Jason waits.
“‘S okay,” he says again. “You didn’t do it on purpose. Shh, shh. Don’t cry.”
His fear is lessened. Not gone, but not grown.
“Hey,” he says softly. “Hey, honey.”
The tears keep falling. Jason keeps waiting.
“‘Course I remember ya,” he says, and pets you where your cheek should be. “How could I forget you?”
You moan quietly. It doesn’t hurt Jason this time.
Tumblr media
The night that the Bat finds Jason brings a thunderstorm with it.
You’ve followed Jason for weeks now. He’s no longer afraid when he catches glimpses of your endless mouth and shapeless eyes. Sometimes, on patrol, you get nervous. When you’re too close to people, to noise, you get restless. You want to run, but you can’t, because Jason will be alone. And so will you.
Jason has begun to hum when you get nervous. You get closer when he does, looming over him, but he no longer smells like fear.
“Y’smell like peaches, y’know that?” he’d said a few weeks ago.
You’d just pitched your head lower to show you were listening.
“Yeah,” Jason had said. “Like peach pie. I was so confused the night you removed the bullet. Craved peach pie for days. Ain’t that the weirdest shit you’ve ever heard?”
Honestly, yes. After everything, that is definitely the weird part.
“Gooo—g-g…” You’d swallowed, frustrated. Jason had hummed.
“‘S okay,” he’d said. “‘M listening. Take your time.”
So you’d tried again. “G-good?”
“Yeah, honey. Oh, yeah. So good. You’re so good.”
That hadn’t been what you meant. But you’d gotten the feeling Jason knew what you were asking and decided to answer another question anyway.
It’s pouring tonight. The rain doesn’t bother you, but if lightning starts, you may have to retire for tonight.
That’s only in an extreme circumstance, however. For now, you’re right there with Jason.
“Shit, ‘s really comin’ down, huh!” Jason shouts over the rain.
He swings to a rooftop and almost slips on water. You rush to him, but he holds up a hand, laughing.
“‘M fine, ‘m fine. I gotta finish the southside. You can dip if you want.”
You don’t respond. Jason sighs.
“Alright, fine. C’mon.”
You’re two blocks into the southside when a dark blob lands in front of Jason. You stay hidden, eyes sharp.
The blob is a man. The Bat.
“Jason,” Batman says. Jason stiffens.
You feel a screech working its way out, but you stop it for Jason’s sake. You will intervene if he needs help.
Both of their fear levels have shot up.
The Bat steps forward. “You lied to me, Jason. I can’t believe it’s you going around Gotham killing—”
“Oh, you can’t?” Jason spits. “You can’t believe your little bird that’s back from the dead is angry that no one fuckin’ cleaned up this city? The clown is still alive, Bruce!”
Thunder cracks the sky. You stay silent, keeping your grip on the side of the building light. You’d offered to kill the Joker for Jason. Ki–lllll clo–own? K–ill?
But Jason had told you no. Had said that it wasn’t your responsibility. So you’d refrained.
The Bat is quiet for a moment. Then, “I’m sorry, Jason. I know you’re upset, but—”
“Fuck you. I don’t wanna hear your attempts at peacemaking. I’m not gonna stop no matter what you say.”
“Jason,” the Bat says. “You have to stop killing.”
“The only way I’m gonna stop is if you kill me.”
You scramble down as soon as you hear armor clash. A batarang strikes Jason’s chestplate. Jason’s increasingly aggressive, forcing the Bat to defend himself harder.
Thunder strikes again. Jason knows all of the Bat’s weak points. And while the Bat is distracted, it doesn’t stop him from fighting well.
The moment the Bat draws blood, you stalk out of hiding and howl.
Three streetlights explode as you grow to your full, terrifying size. Both the Bat and Jason cover their ears. You slam the Bat down on the ground, claws shredding his cape and suit. You’re furious. You will kill.
One of your claws punctures the Bat’s thigh. He shouts in pain. You’ll tear him apart for making Jason bleed.
Rain beats down on you. You heave over the Bat, shaking with fury.
“Stop! Fuck, fuck. Stop it!”
Jason pulls at your arm, which is nearly the size of his entire body. His helmet is cracked, his exposed eye bloodshot. That rekindles your anger, but Jason quickly intercepts.
“Stop, please. It’s okay. I’m okay. Don’t kill him, please. Don’t kill.”
“Miiiiii—m—miiii-ine. Mine.”
Jason nods. He pulls off his helmet and tosses it.
“Yeah, yeah, I am. I’m yours. He’s not gonna take me away from ya. He wouldn’t kill me.”
The Bat coughs, spitting blood. “N-never.”
"Mine," you say, tremulous, blood under your claws. "My Robin."
Jason shakes you. "Yours. I'm yours. C’mon, peach. C’mon, love.”
It would be so easy to end it now. End you and the Bat. And you would do it if you didn’t think it would end Jason too.
His fear is high. You pull your claw out of the Bat, who groans. You let Jason lead you away. He holds your darkness.
“Scaaaar—sc-ared. Scare-d?”
“Yeah,” Jason admits. “Little bit.”
You close your eyes. “Ba-ad.”
“No, honey. You’re not bad. You’re scared.”
You dig your claws into the roof, cracking the concrete. You let yourself shrink, so Jason can wrap his arms around your neck. You don’t trust yourself enough to touch him back.
He’s crying. Jason is crying.
You pull back a little, so you can see his face.
“Cr-y,” you say, feeling like weeping yourself. “Cry cr-y c-ry.”
You want to say so much more, but you can’t. Your words are gone. You know Jason doesn’t judge you for that, but you need to tell him. Tell him how you feel.
You lick Jason’s cheeks. They taste like salt and rainwater. You lick more. Lick until he stops crying.
“Son,” the Bat says behind you.
“‘S okay, B,” Jason says.
Rain drips down his face and suit. He’s beginning to shiver. You try to shield him as best as you can.
“We’re okay,” Jason says, this time just to you.
“Sc-scaare—”
“No, no. Hey, peach. ‘M not scared. Y’hear me?”
You slowly drape your arms over Jason’s back. He strokes your wrist that droops and stretches unnaturally.
“Yeah. You know me. I’ve never been afraid of the dark.”

The forgotten child
Tumblr media
Pairing's : fem! reader x peter parker, tony stark daughter! x tony stark, tony stark daughter! x peter parker
Warnings: really sad angst, jealousy, daddy issues, neglect, lmk if i missed anything! :)
Summary: dad of the year award? surely isn't going too him
a/n : I know the gif doesn't really match the theme of this story I just really liked it. I did not reread this so please ignore any grammar mistakes. Also, I'm not sure if i wrote a panic attack correctly but I wrote based on what their like for me. hope you all enjoy!
you really tried not to become the forgotten child, always tried you're very hardest to live up to your father expectations, trying to make him proud in hope's he'd show some form of attention.
always studying to get straight a's even through countless anxiety attacks from fear of failing and disappointing your father.
all you ever wanted was reassurance, and if you ever got lucky enough a "You did a good job" after getting a high score on a test.
but it never came, it would forever be something you longed to hear. he would usually just mumble a small, quiet "congrats" as his mind stayed focused on his work and his eyes stuck to the blueprint laid out on the table Infront of him.
you always tried you're best not to feel jealous whenever your father held morgan, you had no ressentiment towards morgan whatsoever, in fact she was the one that kept you smiling most days. although you couldn't help but feel your heart tighten from jealousy as you watched them have daddy daughter time
you really did try you're best to be happy for your younger sister, but you couldn't ignore that aching feeling. all you wanted was the attention she had that your heart ached so desperately for, but it never came despite your countless attempts.
you we're astound to hear a new avenger had been recruited, you always enjoyed meeting new people. mainly because they gave you attention they didn't even know you craved.
you always seeked to see the best in people, no matter what the circumstances we're. including peter parker, there was nothing wrong with him, he wasn't a bad person in fact quite a good one, and if you weren't so envious of him you possibly could have been friends with the boy. but you watched how peter and your father clicked so easily becoming like father and son.
it made the knots in your stomach tighten as you watched them spend time together, it made you feel as if something was wrong with you, like maybe if you tried harder or changed, he'd give you the attention you deserved.
your mother, pepper always said he loved you just as much as he loved morgan or even peter, but you knew the truth as much as you ignored it you knew. but oh, how you wish he did.
"Mom, I'm home" you called out knowing if father was home, he wouldn't answer you. after not receiving an answer, you decided to look through the house in search of your mother, after a couple of minutes searching you still hadn't found her and decided she probably went out and took morgan with her. you heard talking but it sounded like your father, and peter?? "what's peter doing here?" you wondered. you decided to peak you're head through the door and saw peter and tony standing with their backs faced away from you, working on some upgrades for peter's suit.
"you're a pretty great kid peter" tony told him as he smiled at him patting his shoulder. a wave of jealously hit your chest as you watched them, your throat tightening. "Thank you, Mr. stark," peter smiled cheekily as your fingers clenched into a fist at your side.
"Becoming like my son."
once those words left Tony's lips, your mouth went dry, your head aching as you backed away from the door as quietly as possible, you're breathing picking up rapidly. you quickly made your way to your room, tears forming in your eyes, you walked into your room and shut the door softly as your hands started shaking as you paced around your room quickly, trying to stop the tears from rolling down your cheeks. you never liked crying, it made you feel weak.
you're breathing came out in heavy gasp as you struggled to breathe. you leaned against the wall coughing as you squeezed your eyes shut as you tried to stop the words from replaying in your mind.
"Becoming like my son" continuously echoed through your head as soft sobs left your lips, you didn't want to feel this way, envious of what your father and peter had. it's not peter's fault about what your father feels about you so why hold him accountable. he'll never love you, at least not like he loves peter. you can't figure out why? you always tried you're best to impress him, but nothing seemed to be enough for him, it's like he didn't even care about your existence.
you stumbled over to your bed, taking deep breathes as your body grew exhausted from crying. you plopped down on your bed tiredly as you snuggled up against your blanket that was where your pillows we're supposed to be, you grabbed a pillow and hugged it too sleep.
you didn't want to put the blame on peter because it wasn't his fault, but a little piece of your heart blamed peter parker.
a/n: CLIFFHANGER!?!? I decided to leave it for now because I haven't come up with an ending that I thought fit the way I wanted so if you guys have ideas, please let me know. reblog's are highly appreciated, thank you for reading and I hope you enjoyed!

I apologize for any grammar mistakes, as of current it’s unedited, but I’m so tired so I’ll do it later tomorrow.
———————————————————————-
You had one mission. One seemingly normal, manageable mission.
All you needed to do was observe her, and gather as much information as you could about her.
Alcina Dimitrescu.
That name did wonders. It almost excited you as much as it infuriated you. The damn nerve of that woman was what drove you so impossibly close to the edge.
Her heated gaze burnt into the back of your mind. Gold ripples clouds your vision.
You didn’t have time for this. Any of it really. Chris, along with several other BSSA members would be there any day to take them out. Every monstrosity they call ‘family’.
In the four short weeks at Castle Dimitrescu, you unintentionally became Alcina’s head maiden.
How you managed to accomplish that was beyond you. It did make you wonder. You hadn’t exactly done anything in particular to acquire such a position from the mistress of the castle. Your mind buzzed with possibilities. Was she onto you? No. Of course she wasn’t, she couldn’t be, could she?
With shaky hands, you took a deep breath trying to further compose yourself. The portable tray in your hands suddenly feels like a ton of bricks.
The lady was expecting her afternoon tea and isn’t too keen on waiting. Her patience grew weary by the moment.
Slowly you brought your right hand and gently knocked on the brooding wood that distinguishes right from wrong, safe and dangerous.
A muffled “Come in,” filled the unorthodox silence. Leisurely you opened the door, making sure to keep your eyes lowered as you approached the ornate vanity, and set down the tray.
Lady Dimitrescu’s predatory gaze burned holes as she watched you intently. Seemingly lost in her trance, she doesn’t realize when you’re standing right in front of her, tea cup in hand.
“Lady Dimitrescu?” you said questioningly, curious where her mind might be.
“Yes, sorry, dear. Thank you.” She replies quickly, taking the seemingly hand painted tea cup. A faint metallic smell infiltrated the small space between you. It was no secret what the lady of the castle preferred in her afternoon tea. Regardless, a shiver ran down your spine at the mere thought of who that could be.
“Is that all my lady?” You asked as you made your way back to the vanity to retrieve the silver tray.
“Actually, there is something I wanted to discuss with you.” She said slowly. “That is, if you don’t mind.”
As if you even have a choice in the matter. Alcina Dimitrescu, always playing with her food. Utterly ridiculous.
“Something makes me think it’s not really up for debate, is it?” You ask knowingly, growing a bit bold.
“Perhaps. Perhaps not.” She responds teasingly, while smirking. Vague as ever.
Even though she’s a ruthless vile woman, whos committed several dozen atrocities, you have to admit, she’s painfully attractive
Beauty and confidence radiate off her, making her all the more alluring. The air around her is absolutely intoxicating. You know it’s wrong, but you just can’t help yourself.
Tirelessly, you try to derail your mind that convinces you, you need more, that you need her..
Each and every humaneless act she’s committed plays before your eyes, yet the image of a broken woman stuck in her own mortality alway wins.
“Well, I hope I can acquire whatever you desire to know.” You reply plainly.
She eyes you almost cautiously. Observing you shamelessly. Her heated gaze makes you all too aware of the situation you’re in. The danger, the unknown, the claws of a monster.
Red paints your vision. For a moment, you feel you might just lose consciousness. A terrible feeling churning in your gut. This could go one of two ways. Either you talk and she miraculously lets you go or you talk and she uses your blood as wall decorum. One option seeming more likely than the other.
“Oh don’t play coy with me, darling. I have a brain, you know.” She says suddenly breaking the silence. “I must admit though, you do have a good facade. Dare I even say, you almost fooled me.”
Option two then.
Your heart beated rapidly at the confrontation. A dull ringing sounded in your ears. This is as close to death as you ever want to get. If you make it out alive, Chris will never hear the end of this.
You opened your mouth to speak, but just as fast as it opened, it shut. You were genuinely at a loss of words. She’s a clever woman, sure, but how did she know? Or even better, how long has she known? And if awhile, why hasn’t she sent you to the cellar?
Your impending doom hung above your head as your mind scrambled to find any sort of excuse, or anything really to get yourself out of this situation, with all your limbs intact.
“Don’t go all shy now, pet.” Lady Dimitrescu says as she leans closer, filling the gap between the two of you.
Pet? Your brain nearly short circuited at the nickname. “I.. I..” You mumbled lamley, still trying to formulate a coherent sentence. Unfortunately, there really wasn’t anything you could say or do to protect yourself. All you could do now was draw your inevitable death out for as long as you can.
“You know, I considered killing you when I found out. Or maybe sending you to the cellar to be my daughter's newest plaything.” Lady Dimitrescu says lowly. “But..” she drags out slowly, anticipation and fear consuming you as you waited for what she would say next.
“But?..” You repeated slowly, wondering what else she could possibly say.
You subconsciously leaned forward slightly, hanging on each and every word that spilled from her crimson lips. Exactly as she wanted. Eagerness coursed through your body like electricity.
“But, I thought something better. After all, it would be a shame to dispose of such beauty.” She finally responded, once again leaving suspense in the air.
Like a pole nailed to the ground, you were so impossibly still; you even forgot to blink. What exactly did she mean by that, you thought to yourself.
Lady Dimtrescu throws her head back in laughter at the apparent confusion painted along your face.
“Come here, now.” She demanded, no longer laughing as she was momentarily.
Quickly, deciding to keep your head as long as you could, you were standing in front of Lady Dimitrescu in seconds.
“Good.” She praised with a fond smile, and by the Gods, was she a sight to see.
“Now then, I’m going to tell you exactly how this is going to go. Do you understand me?” She asked authoritatively, leaving no room for retort.
While maintaining eye contact, you haphazardly nodded your head in understanding.
“Oh no, sweetheart. You’re going to have to do much better than that. Use your words like the big girl you are.” She responded.
Nervously, you swallowed the lump residing in your throat, “Y-yes, Lady Dimitrescu.” you whispered.
“Good girl.” She praised in return.
Her affirmation made your head fuzzy and core ache with want. There was absolutely no way this was happening right now. Whatever happened to her being the enemy?
Smirking, she grabbed the side of your face and ran her pale, slender finger down the expanse of your jaw, hooking two fingers under your chin and forcing your eyes to meet.
Your skin felt hot. Feverishly so, almost like you were lit on fire. Her burning gaze keeps you trapped in a fevernet daze. There’s no going back now, not even if you really wanted to.
“How about we play a little game?” She asked slyly.
A game? What kind of game? One wear she ruthlessly tears my head off? Or maybe chases me around the castle for sport? I’m not sure I'd like to play any ‘game’ with her, you thought to yourself.
“What do you have in mind?” You asked cautiously, but curiously.
For a moment, she was silent. Her eyes tracing your figure up and down. It was hard to read her, she had an impressive poker face, but as the lady of the castle you didn’t expect anything less. Alcina was a force of nature, which was what made her so incredibly dangerous.
A beat.
The palpable silence was consuming.
Then suddenly Lady Dimitrescu raised her hand and firmly patted her curvy thigh, “Sit.” she said indifferently.
Strangely, you’re more scared of sitting on her thigh than her slicing you into millions of bits and pieces. There was absolutely no way you were about to sit on Alcina Dimitrescu’s thigh.
Wide eyed, you stared at Lady Dimitrescu astounded. You almost couldn’t believe what was happening, no, you couldn’t believe it. Surly, this is some sick and twisted dream your mind conjured to torture you. You weren’t exactly into her, but you’d be lying if you said you weren’t at least morbidly curious about her.
“I don’t like repeating myself, dear.” She said mockingly, your distress clearly fueling her. She wasn’t quite sure yet, but something reeled her in. She was almost certain had you been anyone else you’d be long gone by now. But this was different, you were different.
Slowly but surely you made your way to the large pristine chair, and hoisted yourself onto the expanse of her leg. Embarrassed, you faced away from her and diverted your gaze to the floor.
Expertly, Lady Dimitrescu wrapped her arm around your waist and pulled you flush against her front. Heat burns your cheeks at the quick action.
“Much better.” She purred in your ear as she slowly licked the shell.
Heat went straight to your core as you tried to close your thighs. You couldn’t help but squirm at the feeling of her hot breath down your neck.
Her hand drew lazy patterns on your leg as she slowly bought her hand up to where you desperately wanted her.
“Do you want it?’ She asked in a hushed voice as if she didn’t already know the answer.
Yes. Of course you wanted it, even if it was against your better judgment. Figuratively and literally, you undeniably fucked. There was no way in hell you’d be able to tell Chris about this. You’d most likely lose your job and any shred of dignity you have after this.
A groan slipped past your lips, “yes.”
“Yes what? What do you want?” She replied teasingly. She wanted to poke and prod till you burst. She knew exactly what buttons to push to evoke a reaction.
Your brain fogged with indescribable want. The neurons in your brain failing to cooperate and make any logical response.
“You.” you said needily, almost like a whine. Oh how pathetic you looked. She hadn’t even done anything and you were already ever so desperate for her. She loved it, craved it even.
So submissive, so compliant.
“What do you want me to do, darling?” She asked in response. Of course she knew, but how amusing would it be to make you voice it to her?
“Anything, just do anything, please.” You begged while clenching your thighs once again. You were sure your core was absolutely dripping by now.
“Begging are we?” She asked rhetorically. You could practically hear her shit eating smile.
How she loved it when you begged. The sound was addicting to put it plainly. She could definitely get used to hearing it.
Finally, she brought her hand all the way up your thigh to your aching center. Her slender finger rubbing your folds through the fabric of your underwear.
You gasped at the sudden contact as you pushed yourself closer to her.
“Oh my, you’re absolutely drenched.” She teased. “Is this all for me?” She asked breathily in your ear, just as before,
All you could do was nod in response., your mind too taken with the way her fingers felt against you.
Seemingly tired of the foreplay, Lady Dimitrescu pushed the side of your black lacy thong to the side, exposing your glistening core. A chill ran down your spine at the sudden change in temperature.
“Absolutely beautiful, darling.” She praised as she ran her middle finger through your folds. A low moan erupted from your chest at the notion.
“More, I need more..” You begged, feeling yourself grow impatient.
A smirk plastered on her face as Lady Dimitrescu had a borderline evil idea. “As you wish.” She replied as she quickly plunged two fingers into your soaping core.
You threw your head back onto her shoulder at the rough treatment moaning loudly. Her pace was bruising, but the stretch was undeniably delicious. There was something so attractive about Lady Dimitrescu man handling you.
As she continued, your moans were near pornographic. You were sure anyone in the castle knew what the lady was up to. Not that you care all that much, but it’s still a bit embarrassing.
Your hips jerked up into her hand as she used her palm to apply more pressure on your swollen clit. You felt euphoric. There was nothing in the world you could compare to the way Lady Dimitrescu was making you feel. Even if she did kill you when she was finished, you couldn’t find it in yourself to care.
“You’re close, aren’t you?” She asked while prepping kisses down your neck.
You moaned in response, not being able to form a coherent response.
“Good girl.” She uttered whilst kissing your cheek. “You’re doing so good for me, darling.” She encouraged.
“Come undone for me, show me how much of a needy whore you are for me.” She said as she curled her fingers into your sweet spot.
As if her plethora of praise wasn’t enough, she was so precise, so experienced with her fingers.
With one final thrust, you came all over her fingers. Your juices running down her hand, and ruining your underwear.
She finished with a few slow thrusts while you rode out your high. Once your breath evened out, she skillfully removed her fingers from your core.
“You did wonderfully.” She praised once again while placing a soft kiss on your cheek.
This Lady Dimitrescu was foreign. Incomprehensible even. And yet, for some reason, you adored her this way. Soft spoken and light, she almost seemed human, almost.
What’s to come after this is completely beyond you, all you can do is pray it’ll all come full circle.

The wolf, the raven, and the hunt ( the wolf, the raven and, the arrow part 2)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Benjicot ‘Davos’ Blackwood x fem!Stark reader
A/n: The long awaited part twooooo!!! I’m not gonna lie, I wasn’t planning on making a part two but since so much of you asked I just had to!
I hope atleast some of you like this because I know I don’t , I’m sorry for any grammar mistakes :/ 💔
Warnings: female reader, female pronouns are used, Canon typical sexism but not really, sexual themes alluded but not described, canon typical violence, sa is talked about but happens to no one, No deers were hurt in the making of this story, lmk if I missed anything
It was the earlier hours of the morning when the courtyard of Riverrun was hustling and bustling with activity. The hunting dogs are barking, the horses neighing, and the servants, stable boys, maids etc.. are all moving about urgently getting everything ready for the hunt that is about to leave.
You and your brother were supposed to leave the Riverlands a week ago, but a certain Stark had taken up interest in a certain Blackwood. That being Cregan and Alyssane of course…..
As you walk among the chaos of everyone preparing, you spot Benjicot sitting on a bench in the corner breaking his fast. After the archery incident you two had spoken here and there not as much as you hoped. The reason being him having to go back to Raventree for a few days for some urgent Lord of Raventree Hall business, but you’ll never admit that you were disappointed when he left.
As you approach him he shoveling food into his mouth not even noticing your presence until you sit right across from him.
“Seven hells Blackwood, you sure can put it away.” you
laughed resting your head on your chin as you looked at him.
“Wot can I say, I’m veruh hungrry.” He laughed back food still stuffed in his cheeks.
“Yes and very messy.” you say as you take the cloth near him wiping the food from the side of his mouth.
He raises an eyebrow and grins as you wipe the corner of his mouth and doesn’t bother to pull away. “Oh? You going to clean me up, My Lady? That’s quite the wifely task, no?” he taunts you.
“Please I do this for my nephew Rickon, who is only a year I might add.” you reply neatly folding the napkin and putting it to the side.
Instead of feeling offended that you were in fact just treating him like a child his grin just widened. “Aww well aren’t I in luck you’re the wifely and motherly type” he says reaching out to grab another chicken leg.
You roll your eyes to the sky at how fast his comebacks are. He snorts at your lack of comeback and continues to go the town on his chicken leg as if this was his first time eating in days which you knew not to be true giving his status.
“I wonder if you’re this hungry when it comes to other things.” You ask rhetorically taking a strawberry from his plate and slowly biting into it, trying to tease him back even if it meant you had to tread in dirty waters.
“I can assure you, Lady Stark, my insatiable appetite is... very much not limited to just food.” he smirks looking at you, his eyes slowly trailing down your figure not covered by the table. He then leans closer taking your hand with the strawberry eating the rest of it. You could feel his soft lips brush against your fingertips, he then darts his tongue out licking the rest of the strawberry’s juices from your fingers.
“It was a jest!” you practically yell as you felt your body heat up. You shoved his head away not expecting him to reply so fast and more so not expecting him to do that.
He laughs and sits back down in his chair, finishing his last chicken leg “Oh was it? My mistake, I thought it was a request…”
“So the hunt!” you quickly try to change the subject. “is there anything you riverlord do differently than us in the North?”
He shakes his head throwing the rest of his food to the ground near him and stray dogs quickly began to snack on it.
Not necessarily except we just have different types of game, but speaking of the hunt you’ll be riding with my party“ he says it more like a command that a request.
“Seven hells and why would I want to do that” your face twisted in disgust.
“Come now, it’s either spending several hours alone in the woods, with your love sick brother and my love sick aunt or you could spend the whole day with me and my much more entertaining friends.” he says before downing his cup of ale in one go.
You groan at the thought, already not liking when you sit near them during dinner in the great hall. You can’t imagine how’d they’d be in a more private area.
“Are they as dumb as you…..if that is even possible?”
“Lady y/n! I’m hurt that you even have to ask that,” he feigns shock. “of course they’re dumb, but we're also far more charming than the other options available to you.”
You giggle at his dramatics. “Very well then least I’d be entertained.”
He smiles as he hears your laugh, a warm feeling in his gut growing at the sound. “Oh, you won’t be disappointed, I have plenty of ways to entertain you I promise.”
Tumblr media
You walked up to the carriage Benjicot told you to be and found him near it along with two other lads you knew to be lord Kermit and Oscar Tully. You only ever spoken to then once or twice but it was in a much more formal setting and it was with both your families so you did not know the two young lords well.
If your brother were to find out you ditched going with him and Aly, to go with three young men out in the woods alone he’d for sure strangle you but what he doesn’t know won’t kill him.
Realistically however, from an outside view this did seem like an extremely dangerous and wild thing to do. A highborn lady, who was still a maiden confined in a carriage with three other young men then going to an even more isolated place, the woods....Yet you did not for a moment feel like this was unsafe.
You may have called Benjicot psychotic many times but in reality you never truly meant that. Yes, he could be a bit crazy, but not in a way were it made you feel unsafe to be around him and you’ve been around men who made you feel unsafe. A prime example being lord Bolton and his sons who you’re sure crawled out of the seven hells themselves.
The Boltons always give you such an uncomfortable feeling and made you cling to your dagger tighter when they were near … but not Benjicot … he didn’t make you feel like you needed to be alert around him, you trusted him so by extension it goes onto Kermit and Oscar.
“Ah, she’s here, the Lady Stark herself.” Oscar, who you believed was the youngest , says as he approached you excitedly.
“My lords” you bow, though it was a more informal setting you still didn’t forget your manners.
They both bow respectfully before Kermit steps forward, clearly the more well mannered of the two lads “It’s an honor to finally meet you, Lady Stark. Benjicot has told us so much about you.”
“Has he now?” a small smile appearing on your face finding it cute Benjicot still talks about you when you’re not there.
Kermit and Oscar exchange a glance with each other before a wide grin appears on their face.
“Oh yes, he just wouldn’t shut up about you, going on and on about “Y/n Stark this” and “Y/n Stark that”. Kermit starts.
“He wouldn’t stop gushing about you” Oscar rolls his eyes pretending to be annoyed.
You laughed wondering what else they would spill. “Did he also tell you how I elbowed him last time he got too close?”
“He told us all about it the very same day it happened. He said he’d never been more attracted to a woman in his entire life.” Kermit says as he snickers.
Oscar grins and nods, then suddenly burst out laughing when another thought came to his head trying his best to get it out through the laughter.
“And… and he said he nearly threw himself on his knees and thanked the Sevens above that you’d touched him, no- no matter how violently it was.” the younger and clearly more immature Tully brother doubled down laughing.
Your eyes widen in amusement and Benjicot who was sitting on the stairs of the carriage the entire time, just giving you three a chance to familiarize yourself with each other immediately shoots up at what Oscar says. He stomps over and shoves the Tully lords away from you which caused them to laugh harder.
“Haha, ignore them they’re just being arseholes, come let me help you into the carriage” Benjicot throws them another glare putting you in front of him, using himself as a barrier so the Tully brothers don’t say anything worse.
You don’t speak on what they said for now… taking a mental note to bring it up later if you two have another one of your unofficial teasing battles. Benjicot takes one of your hands, leading you up the stairs to the carriage and the other on the small of your back. Once you make it to the top his hands stay there longer than they need to be, but then he quickly pulls away when he realizes what he was doing.
The carriage ride went relatively smooth enough. Kermit and Oscar both calmed down with embarrassing their friend and you all just spoke about different things, nothing in particular.
By the time you four reached the hunting grounds it was mostly set up and hunting parties were already making their way out.
“So how do you guys do this?” You ask stretching your muscles from the long cramped carriage ride.
“Oh we uhh we usually split up that way we can cover more ground.” Kermit lies and say but you didn’t know it.
“Huh? No we d-“ Oscar is about to say but quickly change his mind realizing what his brother is trying to do “oh yes! We certainly do.”
“Yes it’s the fastest and most efficient method. Plus it makes it more fun and exciting since we get to see who’s able to catch the most game.” Benjicot replies immediately catches on, silently thanking the brothers for their support.
“Oh well in that case,” you pretend to think looking between the three riverlords “I want to team up with Kermit.”
Benjicot opens his mouth about to argue but then when you laugh he relaxes.
“I only jest.” you say with a laugh and Kermit and Oscar laugh with you already liking you being apart of their little group.
Tumblr media
The two of you are walking through the woods, the sound of other parties echo in the not too far distance from different directions. You can hear other hunters laughing and shouting, and dogs barking as they find a chase to follow.
“There’s far too many people here, all the animals have already ran off from the noise, but don’t worry, I know a place where we can go to hunt come on.” Benjicot says motioning for you to follow.
You two walk deeper and deeper into the woods doing a few twist and turns and soon come up to a tall old stone wall that stretched too far to just walk around it. Benjicot easily went over it, you have no doubt he’s done this many times. You handed him the hunting gear before you began to climb over. You sat down on top of the wall about to jump off, when before you could,he grabbed onto your hips lifting you down without a second thought.
You unconsciously hold onto his shoulders as he lifted you down and thought the moment was for a second your heart races as your chest was pressed against his. Once your feet hit the ground he held onto you just for an extra second but only to make sure you were stable.
“Did it look like I needed your help?.” You say faster than you could process and inwardly curse to yourself at the fact that was what you say instead of a simple ‘thank you’.
Benjicot fortunately just laughs and rolls his eyes playfully. “You know you don’t have to act so tough, I can see right through your cold northern ice exterior.”
“Wow so original comparing me to ice.” your voice laced with sarcasm.
“I can’t help it, you’re such a feisty, stern, tough, she wolf of the North. I’m trying so valiantly to melt that frozen wall you’ve built around your heart.”
“You somehow prove to me everyday why you’re the most annoying person in Westeros and even across the Narrow sea.” you mutter pinching the bridge of your nose at his horrible attempt to be poetic.
“You say things like that and yet you keep talking to me, it’s almost like you enjoy it Lady Stark.” He looks at you deeply trying to gape a good reaction out of you.
“Shut up and keep walking or else I’ll shoot you and call that my game. “ you try your best not to sound flustered pushing him forward.
You two soon made your way to a clearing with a river, its waters flowing past the trees. The only sounds being the rippling water, songs of the birds and the occasional sound of the whistling wind as it passed through the tall trees. You follow him as he stoops down behind some bushes near the river.
After a couple of minutes some birds and rabbits go over to the river for a drink, but Benjicot doesn’t draw his bow just yet. More time pass and a deer trots over going for a drink oblivious to you two hiding. It wasn’t such a huge deer were it would beat records but it wasn’t so small where it would not be a good catch.
His eyes gleam at the sight and he picks up his bow handing it to you. You look at him as if he was mad and push it back against him but he then just pushes it back to you.
“You know I am not near the level where I can actually catch game.“ you hated to admit it, but it was the truth.
“That’s why I’m here, I’ll be guiding you the whole time. I’ll make sure you don’t miss, now take the bow.” he gives you a reassuring smile pressing the wooden material to your hand.
You take the bow and ready it as if you were going to hit a normal target in the training yard. Benjicot moves closer to you, his shoulders pressed against yours as he looks at the deer and back to your bow to see if it was in line of fire. The position was no where near as close or…. Intimate as the first time he’s helped you with your archery skills. Feeling his warmth pressed up against you like this however, reminded you of it.
Eyes still on the buck ahead he reaches out and gently lifts your hand more to where he thinks is the better position, his large and callous hand a stark contrast to your smaller and soft ones. Your mind wonders back to that day in the training yard, your body reliving every detail. From his smell, the feeling of his hot breath on the shell of your ear, how he made you feel warm in the cold and how his words left a coil in your stomach.
Still thinking of the day you nearly miss when he gives you the command to shoot, only now remembering the deer in front of you. You let go of the bow without realizing it. The bow soars through the air and gets closer and closer to its prize but then hits the water mere inches from a head shot.
Benjicot lets out a frustrated groan and wasting no time the deer runs back into the forest startled. You slump your shoulders in great disappointment.
“ I’m sorry.” You mumble.
Benjicot looks over to you and see how disappointed you are. “Why are you apologizing that was your first hunt ever. You can’t really expect to hit it on the first shot do you?” He says in a casual tone standing up and dusting his pants off.
It had not even been a full year since you picked up archery yet you still couldn’t help but constantly get frustrated with yourself when you miss.
“I suppose but we’ve been here for so long and have nothing to show for it…. You were better off going with Kermit or Oscar.”
“Please, don’t be ridiculous. Kermit and Oscar aren’t going to find anything either. They’ve probably been walking around in circles and shouting at each other the whole time. If by the Seven they do catch something the poor beast was probably on its deathbed and wanted a quick death.” He shakes his head able to imagine the whole thing while throwing the quiver over his shoulder.
You laugh feeling a bit better, you haven’t known them for a long time yet you could definitely see that going down.
“Besides more importantly I picked you to go with me not Kermit or Oscar… you. Now come on let’s go see if we can find those idiots.” he starts walking ahead.
You two walk back through the path you came from and once you left the thick dense and woods you felt a drop of water on your head. You stick out your hand and a few more drops fall onto it causing you to frown.
You knew it was going to rain, when earlier you saw the dark pregnant clouds rolling in from the north, but you thought you’d make it back to camp my then.
Before you could comment on it a very familiar red and black cloak is thrown over your head momentarily blinding your vision. You lift it from your face and quirk an eyebrow looking at Benjicot.
He meets your glance and smiles slightly, amused by your bewildered expression. “What?, what kind of man would I be if I let you walk through the rain and get all wet and soaked?”
“Oh well Umm thanks.” you gulp as the rain starts to fall harder.
He adjusts the cloak, pulling it around you more to make sure it’s covering you properly. With you wrapped up in his cloak a surge of possessiveness runs through him. He’ll be damned if the sight of you wearing his clothes doesn’t send a warm tingling shiver all over his body. He clears his throat, trying to ignore the impure thoughts flooding his mind, and he tries to sound nonchalant as he responds “Don’t mention it… let’s keep going.”
As you continue on back to camp you glance over to him and see how at this point he is completely soaked. Compared to you who, save for a small part of your legs that your boots and his cloak doesn't cover, is dry.
You glanced back at him your eyes looking at the way how his dark wet hair sticks to his forehead and how his wet clothes cling onto him. He doesn’t notice how you scan over his body or how your gaze lingers a little too long on how his clothes cling to his frame fortunately for you.
Tumblr media
By the time you reach camp the rain stopped. You walk him up to his tent where he’ll get changed into something dry before joining you for dinner. He already started to unbutton his doublet not wanting to bring the soaked material into his dry tent.
“I feel bad.” You say as water still rolls off of him, you felt so guilty he sacrificed his comfort for yours.
He glances down at you with a small smirk, trying to make light of the situation and ignore the uncomfortable feeling of his now wet clothes sticking to his body. “Don’t worry about it. It’s just rain, I’ll be fine.“ he says as he throws the doublet to the side.
“Oh right you’ll probably want this back.” You go to take off his cloak but he quickly stops you.
“No, keep it It’s alright. I’m going to change out of these wet clothes so I won’t need it,” he gently puts his hands on your arms to keep you from taking it off. “besides I think you should get use to wearing my house colors. ” Benjicot teases.
You scoff at his words but your heart flutters at the same time.
“You can’t go an entire hour without being a smart-arse can you Blackwood?”
“Only for you my lady, only for you.” he says as he walks into his tent.
You walked away from his tent going to find a place to sit and wait for him. You subconsciously pull his cloak closer to you inhaling the scent… it smelt of the forest mixed in with metal. Your mind starts to wonder throughout the day and think back on how kind and gentle Benjicot was.
You’re so engrossed by the cloak, you don’t realize you were about to walk into the group of drunken Bracken men, but at the same time they don’t notice you.
They seemed to be getting rowdy and rough with each other as men their age do. They were all boasting about how tomorrow they’ll catch an even bigger game and argued who was the better hunter.
The lord of Stone Hedge Aeron Bracken had the most say.
“Hey this sword is good enough for killing Blackwoods it’s well enough for killing a beast besides what’s the difference.” they all roar in laughter.
One of his brother’s then mocks him telling him how he’s never killed either teasingly pushing him. Aeron not suspecting the push stumbled back and at the same time you just so happen to be walking behind him which caused him to stumble right into you, you both crash to the ground.
You slightly groaned in pain at the weight of the man on top of you, Aeron quickly stood back up and looks down at you shocked and guilty for what he just did. He was about to apologize and offer a hand for what he just did when in a blink of an eye. Benjicot, who just turned the corner and only sees you on the ground with a Bracken looming over you acts before he knows the full extent of the situation. He roughly slams Aeron up against the tree and pins him there firmly, looking at him with a glare that could kill.
“What in the seven hells do you think you’re doing Bracken ? Picking on women now, is that it? Huh?” his voice low and threatening as he slams the male against the tree again, knocking some wind out of him.
You are shocked by the suddenness of everything and look around to see if anyone would intervene ,but no one seems to care as if this was a normal occurrence and the rest of the Bracken men look worried but don’t dare get up. You had heard of the Blackwood-Bracken conflict before, but you never knew how bad and often it was.
It’s taking everything in him not to run his sword through the Bracken’s neck, the only thing stopping him from doing so is the thought of you seeing him commit violence. He’s not sure if he’s ready to show you why they call him “Bloody Ben.”
You stand up rushing over to him. “Benjicot wait no- it was an accident I swear it’s fine!”
His angry glare softens ever so slightly when he looks at you, yet he still doesn’t release Aeron.
“He’s a Bracken bastard they thrive off of putting others down.” Benjicot already hated the Brackens as is, but the fact of all people they mess with you makes him angry beyond measure.
“Yea well not this time, I swear I’m fine, please let him go.” You truly did not want someone to get hurt for what was an accident. You wrap your hands around Benjicot’s arm trying to pull him away.
The urge not to at least punch the Bracken bastard in the face is hard for him to subside, but not wanting to disappoint you is even stronger.
He shoves him away from behind the tree. Aeron nearly falls at how hard Benjicot shoved him but catches himself walking back to his group where they immediately walk away in case Benjicot changes his mind.
“Cowards.” he huffs out a sharp breath and watches the men walk away, his eyes still filled with anger as he glares at the group.
“I’ll do it.” You say bluntly
He looks back at you and frowns a confused expression on his features.
“huh? You’ll do what?”
“ I’ll marry you.” You say without any hesitation.
He just stares at you for a moment, his heart stopping in his chest and his breath catching in his lungs. For a moment he just stares at you, completely lost for words as his brain struggles to wrap around the words that just left your lips.
“You…. Wait… I-I….” he stuttered not being able to complete a sentence his cheeks turning pink. “look I get we have this thing going on where we tease each other, but bloody hells Stark your killing me.” he says as he pretend to wipe his face to hide the blush.
“No Ben,” you pause saying his nickname for the first time and liking the way it feels on your tongue “I’m serious.”
The gears in his head starts to turn slowly and he stares at you for a long while just waiting for you to blurt out it was jest, but when you don’t he drops to one knee grasping both of your hands in his.
“I swear to the old and new gods to be a good spouse to you. I promise to always protect you, and care for you. I promise to worship and be devoted to you with my body, mind and soul….. so will you Y/n of house Stark be the lady of Raventree Hall….. will you accept these vows and become Lady Blackwood?” for the first time since you’ve met him he seems nervous.
“Yes I want to be Lady Blackwood.” you smile down at him.
His heart swells and a rush of excitement and nerves, but mostly excitement, flood through him. An enormous smile spreads across his face. He gets up and is about to pull you in for a hug when you stop him.
“But….” you raise a hand to stop him.
“But?” He asks nervously expecting the worse.
“I have a few conditions.”
“Like?”
“I want a traditional Stark wedding.”
He relaxes slightly, a small amused smile on his face as you declare one of your few conditions. He can’t help but chuckle slightly as he nods.
“Simple enough.”
“It has to be in the godswood not the sept.” you say your second condition
“Sure.”
“I want to be able to visit Winterfell a few times a year”
“Of course I know how important family is to you Starks“
“I want some of my ladies-in-waiting to be from the North.”
“ Very well, is that all or are there more demands? he says jokingly
“And“
“Andddd “ he says in a sing song voice.
“I want Visenya to live with us”
He quirks an eyebrow. “and that is?”
“My direwolf of course.” you say as it’s the most obvious thing.
He smiles extremely amused, but not entirely surprised you own a direwolf. “Well obviously,” he matched your tone “can’t have my special girl living without hers”
You open your mouth to speak again then realize that, that was all your requests you were fully expecting to have a bit of an argument not expecting him to agree so easily.
He noticed and smirks grabbing your hips and pulling you into him. “Why so surprised, I did say I’d give you everything and more the first time we met didn’t I?” he smiles his thumb tracing circles in your waist
Cregan then just so happens to be walking towards your direction and when he spots you two his face goes from disgust, to anger to confusion, then anger again which causes you to laugh.
“Before you go doing anything unwise Blackwood, I suggest you ask for my brother’s blessing first.” you laugh nodding your head towards the direction of your brother who stood behind Benjicot boring holes at the back of his head.
Benjicot body froze and you swear he got pale, he didn’t dare turn around to meet eyes with the wolf of the North and instead he slowly takes his hands off of you pulling them back to his sides.
“Danm, it was already hard enough to convince one of you” he mumbled.

Tumblr media
Oh, maybe, you could devastate me.
Little lady, come and fade me.
Tumblr media
Everything at the moment was pissing you off, setting spark to the last small fuse that sat within you. The pain from sitting on the hard bar stool was shooting pain right to your tailbone, not going away no matter how many times you switch your position. The unforgiving squeeze of the uncomfortable heels radiated pain all over your feet and you knew they would be swollen in the morning. The group of rowdy girls at the back of the bar were shrieking with joy over something you have no idea about, but you did know that you wanted to drag all of them by their scalp and remove them from the bar.
This was stupid, so fucking stupid, and you knew from the very start that it wasn’t going to work. It never does and the next time you see your friends, they aren't going to hear the end of it. Dating sites and dating in general were things you didn’t like to partake in and for good reason.
Out of all your friends, you happened to be the only single one and you were fine with that, but they weren’t. They begged you, since the moment you broke up with your college sweetheart, to get back out into the dating world. It was actually irritating that they cared so much about your relationship status so much, if you were hooking up with anyone, all under the guise of wanting you to be happy. Truthfully they did want you to be happy and they knew you craved having a relationship, but you were pissed and wanted to stew in your own anger.
Well, right now you were everything but happy. In fact you were furious. Furious with yourself, with them, and most importantly your stupid ass date, Luke. After your thirtieth birthday, your friends all but tackled your phone out of your grasp, making you a stupid tinder profile.
“Thirty is the new twenty one, babe,” Dahlia said as she and the two other girls scrolled through pictures to post.
Twenty one your ass, you think, especially with the way you’re fighting a yawn at only nine thirty on a Friday night.
So you gave in, swiped on a few different people who snatched your attention, one of them being Luke. He was handsome, smiling brightly with a bottle of Corona in his hand and a pair of Raybans perched on the bridge of his nose. His bio was simple, straight to the point, and it was the least douchey thing you’ve read while on the app.
After making short conversation, you learned that he was an investment banker, working in the Citibank building downtown. His interests were the same as yours, very shy yet loved to have a good time with friends. The best selling point was his dog, Cali, that could be seen in a few of the other pictures he had.
You were sold, with his witty banter and the fact that he had his life together at thirty two didn’t make the decision hard, especially when all the other people you know that are your age don’t have a solid plan. Which in argument's sake is fine, however you weren’t getting any younger and the want to get married and start a life with someone was getting strong, even though you’d never admit it to your friends.
So that’s why you’re sitting in a swanky bar in downtown Indy, waiting patiently for your date, who happens to be an hour late, in a dress you spent sixty dollars on. It was a pathetic feeling really, putting this much faith into a stranger in the hopes of finding the one. It’s actually why you didn’t want to do it in the first place and why your friends would have to face your wrath when you get home.
The buzzing of your phone on the wooden bar jolts you awake, the wave of adrenaline coursing through your veins making your heart pump erratically.
IMessage
Luke: Sorry for the last minute text but I’m not going to be able to make it tonight. Had to stay late at the office today, I hope you understand.
With a defeated sigh you turn your phone face down, not having the energy to cuss the asshole out for making you wait so long. Pulling your focus on the bartender, you flag him over and order a martini. Dry martini. Very dry.
When the man places the glass in front of you, he gives you a weak smile as if he knows what’s happening. He probably does know what’s happening, he’s probably seen this happen more times than he’d like to admit and it only adds to your frustration.
Muttering a small thanks, you take a big swig from the crystal glass, letting the liquor burn down your esophagus. It hits your stomach causing an instant burn, more fuel to the fire that’s been shimmering below the surface. The pity you started to feel has now turned into a new found rage.
Quickly picking up your phone, you ignore the burn from the sting of the bright light, and tap on Luke’s text.
Staring at it, you can feel the fire ripping through your body, all the anger and embarrassment you’ve let build up while sitting here coming out as you read his last message.
Luke: Sorry for the last minute text but I’m not going to be able to make it tonight. Had to stay late at the office today, I hope you understand.
You: That would’ve been awesome to know about an hour ago. Thank you for wasting my Friday night asshole.
Before you can text more insults, a gruff voice interrupts the quick tapping of your acrylic nails on the screen.
“Trust me sweetheart, he’s not worth it.” Pulling your gaze from your phone, you try to find the owner of the voice.
Turning to your right you see him, two seats away from you, tucked away into the corner at the end of the bar. You’re not sure when he got there or if he’s been there the whole time but his presence alone is pissing you off. You’re ready to aim your dagger like tongue at him and tell him to go fuck himself when you take in his appearance.
A plain black tee shirt pulled taunt across his broad chest, tattooed arms squeezed by the material just right. On his hands sits more black ink and nice silver rings, gleaming in the low light of the bar. His hair is brown with a streak or two of salt and pepper mixed in, wisps of hair framing his face from where it fell out of the low bun it’s been pulled into. The crows feet by his eyes are fitting, especially when his dimpled smile is peaking through from where it sits behind his glass of whiskey.
He seems older, at least from the discolored hair and stubble on his chin, but he’s very handsome. Actually he’s hot and if you weren’t so mad right now, you’d be flirting with him. That’s not the case though, not when he has a smug ass smile on his face like he’s all knowing.
“What d’you know?” You bite back, waiting for the handsome stranger to answer. When he takes more than a second to answer, you cock an eyebrow at him like it’s taking him too long.
“I shouldn’t have assumed,” He replies cooly, putting his glass down on the coaster, “Don’t text her, it’s not worth it.” When his eyes meet yours, you can’t help but stop breathing.
Big brown eyes looking right at you, so soft and gentle. You sink into the warmth of his eyes on you, almost letting yourself drift away. But you’re mad and this stranger is the perfect person to let it all out on.
“No they’re not a she, and even if it was you don’t know anything.” You look back down at your phone, tapping away at your keyboard finishing what you had started. When you hear him huff out a laugh, the frown that was on your face before quickly deepens.
“You’re right, sweetheart, I don’t know anything. What I do know is when a pretty girl like yourself has been sitting alone at a bar for longer than an hour and suddenly starts tapping away on that thing, like you are right now, I know she’s been stood up.”
His statement brings you right back out of your phone, willing yourself not to wipe that ‘know it all’ look right off of his pretty face. Your scowl is piercing right through him, hating the way that he could see right through you and yet not having a clue who you were.
“Hey, I’m not judging,” He throws his hands up in surrender, “But I promise, whatever douche made someone as stunning as you, wait in a bar this long for ‘em, doesn’t deserve you. Plus, you’re too pretty to be lookin’ that angry.” He picks his glass up, finishing off the rest before nodding to the bartender for another.
In any other situation you’d be telling them off, yelling at them to get lost, but something about this stranger feels different. You could write it off and say it’s because he’s attractive but in all actuality, it’s because he’s gentle when he says it. His eyes aren’t roaming your body like some pig, hoping to get into your panties by sweet talking to you. It’s like he actually cares about you, the stranger in her pretty dress who has been stood up by her date, like he’s known you his whole life.
Slowly you set your phone down, relaxing the sour look on your face, and you take a deep breath. The last thing you want to do is cry, especially in a bar, and especially in front of the caring hot stranger.
“Is it that obvious?” You ask shyly, picking up your martini glass for another sip. The man shakes his head, moving his posture so that he’s leaning towards you.
“Don’t do that,” he says, “Don’t start thinking down on yourself. Yes it was a little obvious but my suspicion grew more when you didn’t order a drink after sitting at a bar for five minutes.”
The statement makes you laugh wetly when he says it, a single tear escaping your eye causing you to wipe it hoping it’s not noticeable. If he sees it, he doesn’t say anything, instead moving over to the seat next to you.
“Listen, don’t let whatever dickhead person ruin your night. From what I’ve witnessed you’re a pretty badass chick, so whatever frat bro did this to you should be scared.” An inked hand places a white napkin in front of you, a peace offering that you’re quick to take.
“That’s the worst part, he’s not even a frat bro. He’s a finance bro.” When you chance a look up at him, he’s looking right back at you, pearly white teeth staring at you.
In a split second he’s laughing, a deep belly kind of laugh with his head thrown back. As much as you want to defend yourself, tell him that Luke wasn’t your first choice, you can’t. Following suit, you start giggling as well, placing the white napkin to the corner of your eye to collect any unushered tears.
“I gotta tell you sugar, that’s even worse.” The pet name doesn’t get lost on you, heart stuttering the minute it falls from his lips. Trying to pull yourself together, hoping he didn’t see the way you stiffened at the name, you clear your throat.
“Tell me about it,” You playfully roll your eyes, taking a sip of what’s left of your drink.
When you move your sight back over to him, he’s leaning back, dimples showing off, almost like he knows something you don’t. He does know something however, he knows that he has some sort of effect on you, watching you with pink flushing your cheeks and it’s not from the alcohol.
“So,” You break the silence, “Sugar, huh?” You furrow your brows questioningly and it only makes him smile bigger than before.
When he leans forward you catch a whiff of his scent, pine and cedar, musky and smoky. He’s even prettier up close and your eyes are trying to map out every detail of him so that you can remember it when you go to sleep tonight, dreaming of the good looking stranger who made your night better.
“Well, between the softness of your laugh and your scowl that could kill,” his voice is low and husky, saying a secret for only you to hear, “You have a little bit of sugar and spice. Kind of like that cartoon with the badass power wielding girls.”
“Do you mean the PowerPuff Girls?” Cocking your head to the side you laugh, his true age showing in the way that he described the Cartoon Network show.
“I’m showing my true age, huh? Well, in my defense I was fifteen and you probably weren’t born yet.” His crows feet become more defined. Shaking your head, you wave to the bartender for another martini.
“Actually, I was five but you were close enough.” His eyes go wide in shock with your admission. When another glass is placed in front of you, you send a smile to the bartender and he gives you one back.
Looking back at the man next to you, you raise an eyebrow, questioning why he’s so surprised at your age. Blowing out a big breath it seems he’s been holding the whole time, he takes a swig of his own drink.
“Sorry, I just,” he sighs, looking back up at you quizzingly, “wow, you’re really thirty?” Although there’s no malice behind his question, you can’t help but frown at him. He notices and immediately back tracks.
“Fuck, no not like that I just meant,” You wait for him to dig himself a deeper hole. When he finally gets his thoughts together, he looks at you, really looks at you and it makes you want to melt. “Listen, I really didn’t mean it like that, I promise. Honestly, I felt like a perv when I first started talkin’ to you, thinkin’ you were like twenty one. When you said you were thirty, I was just surprised, that’s all. Maybe a little excited knowing I might have a chance.”
You take in what he says to you, how sincere his voice is, and you know he isn’t lying. You don’t want to give in so fast though, you want him to sweat it out a bit. So you take a sip of your drink, your eyebrow still arched in fake annoyance. With an extra shot of courage, you look over at him, fake pout on your red stained lip.
“How can you have a chance when I don’t even know your name?” Your voice is like silk, smooth and soft. The older man clearly likes it, the way a smirk is formed on his pink kissable lips is a clear indicator.
“M’Eddie, Eddie Munson,” He offers you his ringed hand for a handshake, “And you are?” You give him your name and he hums with delight. “A pretty name for a pretty girl.”
You snort loudly at his comment, covering your mouth to stop from any further laughter from falling from your lips. Eddie arches an eyebrow at you, questioning what you found so funny.
“I’m sorry, that was just so corny.” Another giggle slips from you and the cool facade he had crumples, laughing along with you.
“S’pretty bad, huh?’ He scrunches his nose and you think it might be the cutest thing you’ve ever seen.
“Yeah it was bad, who told you that would work?” You take a sip of your martini and look at him from over the rim of your glass.
Chuckling and shaking his head, Eddie rubs his forehead as if he’s stressed. Now he’s the one fumbling and nervous, you got him in the palm of your hand.
“Goodness, it was going so well too.” You continue to tease, the playfulness dripping from your voice. Looking over at you Eddie can’t help but smile, those damn dimples back on display.
“You’re trouble, sugar.” It’s said with the utmost confidence and it has you blushing.
“Oh you haven’t seen anything yet, babe.” It’s an invitation for him to find out and you hope he catches it.
“How about I find out on Sunday over dinner and some drinks? What do you say?” Eddie leans into you when he says it, getting the closest he’s been to you, letting his husky voice fill your ears.
Trying to hide the chill that runs up your back and the excitement that settles in your belly, you lean in just as close. “I’d say you have a date, pretty boy.”
The two of you stay like that for a minute, smiling like giddy teens. Breaking away from the small moment, he pulls his phone out from his pocket, unlocking it and opening up the phone app to type in a new contact.
Handing you the phone, his face seems boyish and giddy, you’re sure if he wasn’t sitting he’d be bouncing on the ball of his feet. Typing in your number, you shyly smile up at him handing back his phone.
“I better hear from you Eddie Munson or finance bro won’t be the only one gettin’ his ass kicked.” Pointing a finger at him, you try your best to look as mean as possible but your plan quickly fails when you see his eyes shining at you.
“Yes ma’am.” Throwing a wink at you, he reaches into his wallet and pulls a crisp hundred out and places it on the bar top. “I’ll be seein’ you soon, sugar.” Wrapping his fingers around yours, he places a kiss to the back of your hand.
The feeling of his lips on your skin makes you ache for more, and the moment it’s gone you wish you can make him do it again. Pulling your lip in between your teeth, you look up at him like he’s hung the stars.
The moment is cut short when the bartender asks Eddie if he wants change. Surprisingly he doesn’t look at the older man with anger for ruining it, instead he gives him a nice smile.
“No Paul, the change is all yours. Also, this beautiful young lady’s drinks are on my tab.” Nodding his head, the bartender thanks Eddie for the generous tip.
Pulling his attention back to you, he cuts you off before you can chastise him for paying. “Let me pay for the pretty girl who made my whole night, it’s the least I can do.”
Rolling your eyes, you try hard to not let him see how flustered you are. When he bids you a goodnight, you can’t help but feel the ache of his absence. The whole time you’re in the Lyft home you think of him, staring out the window and replaying everything in your head.
Once you get home, you sit in silence on the end of your bed, not worrying about the shower you need to take. You can’t believe the luck you had in meeting Eddie and a part of you wants to thank Luke for not showing up.
The ding of your phone pulls you out of your thoughts, your heartbeat picking up when you read your screen.
Maybe Eddie: Hey it’s Eddie, just wanted to make sure you got home safe. I wanted to ask if you could thank that loser for not showin up, he really did both of us a favor tonight.
When you read it, you can’t help but giggle a little. Although corny and maybe a little dorky, Eddie had thought the same thing as you and for some reason it sent the butterflies in your tummy on a rampage.
Maybe Eddie: You’re totally laughing at me right now, aren’t you?
Bursting into laughter, your tummy flips in excitement, imagining him blushing on the other side of the phone. Tapping away on your screen, you send him a reply.
You: Oh you know it 😉
You: Thank you for making sure I got home by the way, I appreciate it.
Eddie: I should’ve known. Glad you got home in one piece.
Eddie: Night, sugar. See you Sunday 🖤
Fuck a text, you were going to send Luke a thank you card and maybe some chocolate.

mistake | lee minho
Tumblr media
⇨ pairing: non-idol skz minho x f!reader ⇨ genre: angst, lovers to exes, cheating, ⇨ warnings: curse words, crying, minho is harsh with his words, reader is very hurt. lmk if i missed anything. ⇨ word count: 0.7k ⇨ lyrics: "You can think that you're in love When you're really just in pain" | Moral of the Story by Ashe ⇨ a/n: aaah finallyy! i might make a part two if you guys like it enough lol. feedback and reblogs are always appreciated! i apologize for any bad grammar or spelling.
Tumblr media
"i wish i never fucking met you!" minho shouted.
ouch.
your eyes widened. how could he say this? your boyfriend whom you love with all your heart, how could he hurt you like that?
"i made a mistake. i fell in love with the wrong person. i thought i was in love, but i was actually in pain." you shouted back. this wasn't the right time to cry, even though you were on the verge of collapsing. you were angry, hurt and disappointed.
it all started when you weren't feeling well, so you decided to drive to minho's place. you didn't call him to say that you were coming over. instead, you sent him little texts.
"i'm driving to your place baby"
"not feeling the best"
when you arrived at your boyfriends place, you opened the door with the spare keys he gave you. you looked around the place and saw a black leather jacket. it wasn't yours, right?
you walked over to the jacket and started 'exploring' it. you stuffed your hand in the right pocket and took out a red lipstick. you recognized it..
ouch.
it was your ex best friend's lipstick. and her jacket. of course it was her fucking jacket. she wore it the last time you guys hung out. that toxic so-called 'best friend' who treated you like absolute shit.
was your boyfriend seeing her in secret?
hell no. that's not minho. but.. it was her jacket though? and her lipstick?
later on, you found minho's phone on the couch. where was he? was he even at home? after you unlocked it, you found all the messages between him and her. they texted about meeting each other again to have some fun. and that's when you knew how fake they both were. your 'boyfriend' and the toxic ex best friend.
it was all ruined for you. you were absolutely ruined. not knowing if minho was home or not, you drove back to your place in tears.
the next day, you came over to minho's place to 'talk'. but, that talking turned instead to shouting, as expected.
--
"you made a mistake? fuck no. i made a mistake for dating such a bitch like you." minho shouted. the veins in his neck were visible to see. tears started to appear in your eyes. you were hurt, you wanted to disappear. you wanted to get out of his apartment, the apartment he fucked your ex best friend in, but you also wanted to let everything out of you. you wanted to let him know how much of a shitty boyfriend he was for fucking your ex best friend.
"i'm the bitch? what the fuck have i done? minho, you fucked my ex best friend! imagine yourself in my situation. how would you react if i was secretly fucking your ex best friend? your ex best friend! wouldn't you be out of your fucking mind and-"
"get out" he spat. just like that? get out?
"nothing to say now huh?" you express.
"get out of my place before i fucking drag you out"
you were speechless. how even could he say this shit to you? you didn't deserve this, he didn't deserve you.
with no other words said, you barged out of his apartment and slammed his door behind you.
it's all over, minho thought. he was about to burst. burst into tears. he regretted doing this. he regretted his harsh words towards you. but most of all, he regretted what he have been doing behind your back. how could he do this? fucking you ex best friend and then shouting about you being the bitch. what does that make him then? a cunt? a dickhead? a fucking whore? a mixture of all, he thought.
meanwhile you, were leaning down on the steering wheal of your car, crying. it was upsetting. minho was harsh with his words. that was your first time seeing him shouting that much. you have never seen minho in this state. sure, he could get angry, but most of the times he kept it inside of him. because when minho gets mad, it's game over.
minho wasn't the type to show his emotions very often, but with you. oh with you, he was the sweetest. he was one of your special priorities, he was the love of your life. you loved him with all your heart, and you still love him. you try to not stop loving him.
but how can you still love him after what he did? how can you still love him after he made you cry your lungs out? how?

hope you enjoy!
Javier was known for being an asshole.
Everyone in the office called him that; not to his face, of course, since he was the boss, but he knew, and honestly? He kind of did it on purpose. Being sent back to Colombia to be the CIA puppy didn't in fact thrilled him, but he also wasn't there to make friends. A little bit later than one month into his new position and Javier had already changed secretaries twice. Just by being himself.
The first one was a kind old lady that liked to talk a little bit too much for Javi's taste - which was none. To be fair, he tried to handle her. He listened to her talking of her yougest child finishing college, but she asked him if maybe he could get him a job at the deparment - what in the actual fuck? -, she felt the need to tell him that her older one and his wife were trying to have a baby - he wondered what gave her the impression he wanted to know that her son was fucking someone raw. She just wouldn't shut up. She left not much after a month, at his first snap - took him too long, to be honest.
The last one was a young man fresh out of the academy, who thanked him for the opportunity every time he saw him - which, since he was just outside his office, was pretty often. Despite how thankful he was for the job, he wasn't very interested in working, at least not as he was to flirting with another secretary in the floor below. But that wasn't the worst part, the kid had no idea what he was supposed to do and would go ask Javier for help for every task given to him - he swore he was shaking everytime. Javi didn't care that he was young and was learning, he didn't receive enough to raise a child at work. Didn't last a week.
Javier had headaches just by the thought of who would be sent next. With his current luck, it could be his ex-fiancée. He definitely didn't expect you knocking on his office door and introducing yourself as his new secretary. He was speechless for a moment; you were the combo of the most beautiful woman he had ever seen in his life with a killing black pencil skirt, so tight it showed all your curves. You gave him a firm handshake and asked if he needed anything from you, and, when he denied, that was it. You went to your desk; didn't ask him questions, didn't tell him your whole life, didn't thank him for an opportunity he didn't give you, just went to do your work.
For a while, Javier was glad that you didn't give him any trouble, but that was until you quickly learned his habits. As soon as he arrived the office, you would receive him with a polite smile, a cup of black coffee and his schedule for the day. When he dove into files and forgot he was a person, you would bring him his lunch and wouldn't leave until he had at least a bite - as if he was a kid, what an absurd -, you would sense when he was stressed and would excuse yourself into his office with coffee and a pack of cigarettes and leave without saying a word.
He hated how much he appreciated that - even worse, how he liked that. It didn't take long for him to want to fuck you, to become obssessed with you. And it wasn't just him, he could see every other men in the department - single or not - turn their neck as they watched you pass by. But it was not just that you were hot, you were nice too; he would watch you from his office - not in a creepy way, though, he just didn't have anything much better to do - and you would distribute smiles and polite greetings to every soul that passed your desk, people would constantly stop by to small talk with you and you would let them be for five minutes or so before politely dismiss them to go back to work. Every fucking body there adored you.
Things had always been very professional between you both. Javi held back his flirty instinct and you- well, you didn't even seem interested in him at all. That was untill a very stressfull friday with Stechner giving him shit again. He left the building straigh to the bar, ready to drown himself on whiskey and find a quick fuck for the night, not expecting at all to find you aparently doing the same. Javier considered just ignoring you and go sitting with one of the women that turned their heads in his direction as soon as he entered, but something inside of him made him take the few steps to the bar and get the stool beside where you sat.
You almost spilled your drink when he approached.
"Sorry" you coughed "Wasn't expecting to see you here"
Your body language told him that you weren't comfortable with him there, he saw your backs getting as straight as when you were at work, and immediately regretted joining you.
"Well, that makes it two of us" he raised his hand to order his drink "What's the occasion?" he points to your drink with his chin.
Your grip on your glass seemed to tighten and you took one very long sip before answering dryly "I could ask you the same"
"Work" he raised his brows "It's always work"
"Did something happen after I left?" you pinched your brows.
"No, no, just people giving me shit"
"Oh, I see..." you sighed and silence fell between you.
"So..."
"Well..." you both started talking together and laughed akwardly.
"You go" you said.
"Am I bothering you? Cause I didn't mean to, I can sit somewhere else" he didn't even know why he was asking, he should've just said goodbye and left. He was already standing when your hand found his arm.
You sighed heavily "No, not at all, I'm sorry I gave that impression, sir" you seemed genuine, that's why he sat back "I'm just stressed"
Sir. Why were you calling him sir in a bar?
"Do you want to talk about it? If there's something bothering you we can discuss it and sol-"
"It's not work related" you were quick to interrupt "Work is, honestly, the simplest part of my life right now"
"Things must be pretty bad then, 'cause I see the amount of papers on your desk everyday" that made you chucke "The offer still stands, if you want to"
You took a big breath before dropping the bomb "Broke up with my boyfriend"
Now that was a new territory. He knew absolutly nothing about your life besides you moving to Colombia from the United States; he didn't know anything from your life back there, not your family, friends, definitely not about your boyfriend; and now, somehow, knowing you didn't have one anymore made it even harder for him not to want you.
"What happened?"
"Well, actually, it seems like we had already broken up a while ago and he just forgot to send the memo" you drank your whole half glass all at once ", since he was fucking every pussy that crossed his fucking way"
He was stunned. One thing about Javier was that he was never to deny any woman; honestly, he found every body attractive and apreciatted every woman that gave herself to him. He couldn't say he had a type, but you, with what he saw with your clothes on? He would fuck you every minute of everyday he could. It was absurd to believe someone would give up on you.
"Damn!" he couldn't help but say loudly, making your eyes go wide as if just then realising what you had just said.
"Shit, I'm sorry. I shouldn't be telling you this. I apologise, sir"
"You don't- don't apologise" he almost raised his hand to touch you, but stopped himself before "How did you find out?" you looked at him with raised brows "If you don't mind me asking"
"One of my friends called me last night and told me. She saw him at a bar with two women" you laughed, but there was no humor to be found.
"And you were still smiling at everyone at work today" he was impressed.
You smirked at him "Don't let my personal life mix with work, sir"
"Smart woman" he nods "We for sure have a reason to drink, then" waving his hand to the barman "Let me buy you one"
You don't even bother to refuse.
After three more glasses of what he found out was tequila, your shoulders were much more relaxed and so was your tongue. He found out that you and your ex had been dating for six years when you got the opportunity of job and had to move; two months had passed already.
"And you know what the worst part is?" your laugh is dry "I don't even feel bad because my heart is broken or any shit like that, it's just that is so fucking humiliating" you groaned with your hands on your face "I'm from a small town, you know, by now every soul there knows what he's been doing"
He had to laugh "That's what you're worried about?" you looked at him with false ofense.
"It's my honor we're talking about here!" he laughed even more "It's silly, I know..." you sigh shakly as you take another sip of your drink "But it is humbiling, being cheated on"
"I can't fucking believe anyone could ever cheat on you" he thought. At least he thought he did, but by the way you were looking at him - pinched brows and a curious look in your face, he had to have said it out loud "I mean, only shitty people cheat on nice people. Only shitty people cheat, that's it."
You nodded after a few seconds of silence "You're right, sir"
"You should stop calling me sir"
"I don't think so"
"Why not? We're already half drunk together at a shitty bar"
"Because you're still my boss"
Without any response to that, he looks at you. Really looks at you. Your eyes glassy from the alcohol, red puffy lips looking more appealing than ever... It would have been so easy to just lean in and kiss you. When his eyes came back to yours, it almost seemed like they were on his lips too, that you were leaning in too, that you desired him as much as he desired you and... Then it was not there anymore. Suddenly, you seemed farther than ever, backs as streight as always and eyes avoiding his.
"I should go home"
He agreed. He put you on a cab. He wished you a goodnight.
Then went back to the bar to find someone to not spend the night alone.
The next Monday, though, you seemed even more professional than ever. Wouldn't be around him more than the necessary, wouldn't look him in the eyes and it fucking bothered him.
"Yes, sir?" you entered his office after he called your name.
He sighs as he looked you up and down, his eyes lingering to your skirt pressing against your tights "How are you?"
"I'm fine" you hesitated "Why do you ask? Is something wrong?"
"Lying to me, 's all" your eyes went wide "Listen, last night-"
Your nostrils flared, your hands clenching into fists; you took a deep breath before interrupting him "I am fine"
"Ok, then" he raised his hands in defensiveness "It's just that last night-"
"Last night I was drunk!" you passed your hands through your face "I said things I shouldn't have and I am embarressed and would very much appreciate if we pretended that it never happened"
Javier was silent for a moment. He understandood your apprehension, but damn if he wasn't dismayed by it.
"Alright, 'm sorry I brought it up. But just to let you know, you don't have anything to be embarressed for, you have my word that I wouldn't hold any if that against you and..." and it was nice to talk to you "Yeah, don't worry about that"
You looked at him for a few seconds before nodding "You need anything else, sir?"
Many things, yeah. For starters, you calling him by his name; second, being able to have a casual conversation with you when alcohol isn't envolved and third, your fucking clothes off because he got embarrassingly hard just by looking at you. But instead, he only denied and you left before any other word could leave his mouth.
Javi knew it was for the best. Fucking you would be no good - well, he'd bet it would be hot as shit, but too much trouble for a one night stand. He had a whole city to fool around with, to be focused in someone from his work place, his own secretary, was nonsense. You never even gave him any hint you wanted him, if anything, the actual opposite; you told him yourself last night, personal life away from work.
Javi made sure to remember all that.
He didn't keep those thoughts for long, though.
A few days later, you met at a bar once again. A better one this time and with half of the office joined. It was Feistl's birthday and he invited the whole department for drinks. Nobody could hide their surprise when Javi aproached them; usually, he wouldn't attend this type of gathering, in his rarely free times, he better prefered the company of a good whiskey and a woman, and his colleagues knew that. His employee had invited him just to be polite and that was clear, but he knew you were going to be there, Javi just wanted one more opportunity to prove to himself that you didn't feel the same way he did, that he didn't have the same effect on you that you had on him. Once that prooved, he could move on. So he was there on a mission, trying to be the most discrete he could as he watched you from afar.
The two of you seemed to be the reflexion of each other from across the table, tense bodies and drinks in hand, the only difference being you talking with your colleagues and him not making the effort. To his defense, people weren't trying to talk to him either. Honestly, Javier kind of felt like it wasn't just that they were surprised to see him there, it felt like they didn't want him there at all by some looks he was receiving.
He was okay with that, he guessed, he would much rather analyse your behavior outside work. You didn't seem to change much, honestly; maybe your smile were a little bit more genuine, but the conversations were pretty much the same he heard you have back in the office and it could have been the larger amount of alcohol in your system that night, yeah, but you seemed more relaxed alone with him.
After half an hour there, Javi couldn't bring himself to talk to you, you seemed too interested in a conversation about the new coffee pot in the scullery with another secretary. He was getting frustrated, in another times he would interrupt the other woman and flirt with you effortlessly; it probably had to do with the environment, you were surronded by co-workers, or maybe he was losing his touch - it was almost like he was too afraid to make the move.
Javi decided to leave soon after one hour there. He congratulated Feistl for his birthday, said goodbye to whoever recognized his leaving, paid his bill and passed through the door.
"Hey" he turned around at the sound of your voice, seeing you walking towards him "Are you ok?"
He ran his hand over his chin "Yeah, why wouldn't I be?"
"I don't know" you shrugged "you kind of ran out of the bar"
"'S fine, you should go back inside" Javi pointed at the entrace with his chin.
You tilt your head to the side "I don't really believe you"
"I'm not asking you to" he crossed his arms "And, what, you wanna talk now? You've been quiet at work all week"
"We're not at work, though, are we?" you were quick to answer.
Javi looked you up and down "No, we're not"
"You know" you took a few steps forward ", it's not like they don't like you, they are just kind of scared of you"
Were you watching him too? Why would you say that? How would you notice?
He furrowed his eyebrows "Scared of me? Why?"
You looked at him with yours raised "You know how you act at work, don't you?"
Javi sighed and looked away. He did act like an asshole at work, it didn't seem to bother you, though. Your gazes met again as silence fell between the two of you and he decided to take the few steps left to get you as close as you never got before.
"Are you scared of me?"
You kept your eyes locked as you answered "No. You're not as bad as you think you are" you licked your lips "At least not with me"
The air thickend between the two of you, the only sound being the noises of a night in Colombia. There was no way you were not feeling that too, the way your bodies seemed to linger to each other's direction. He's sure he's not imagining the way your breath heaved, how your chest expansed, the brightness in your eyes.
No, that was real, he was not mistaking it.
A voice broke the tension, you taking a few steps back to a safe distant from him. You both looked in the direction of the sound: a woman was calling you, the same woman you talked all night, at the entrance of the bar, a few feet away from where the both of you stood.
"Maybe if you went back there and paid the next round..." he swore he saw expectancy in your eyes.
"Maybe another time" you nodded; you both knew it wouldn't happen.
You looked at him one last time before walking away "Good night, sir"
Javi nodded even though you weren't looking anymore and his eyes followed the sweet swing of your hips as you made your way back to the bar. He could hear the woman asking what it was about:
"Nothing" you answered.
He would disagree.
Javier was in a terrible, terrible mood. Things weren't going how he thought they would go, not even close to it. Feistl got a good lead about the Rodriguez brothers, one worth following, and he could do nothing about it; had to look to his subordinate and say no to his face. In the beggining, Javi had plans on reediming himself by catching Los Pepes, making amends with the city and it's people by arresting those who he felt like helped to ascend. He felt like a failure, and by the look on Feistl face, he thought so too. To worsen everything, as if it could get any, he had a huge, massive amount of piles to go through.
He lifted his eyes from the paper for the first time in hours when you knocked at the door. He knew your shift had ended a couple of hours ago, but you decided to finish the paperwork of the day so it wouldn't affect his own work the next morning, even though you couldn't have finished it on time because of the extra work put over you. It was something he frequently saw you doing, leaving much later than the others.
"I am leaving, sir. Is there something I could do for you?"
He scratched his chin and sighed heavily "Well, if you could make this fucking paperwork disappear I would built a statue of you"
You exiled a short laugh "I'm afraid that's not possible, sir"
"No, it's not" he reclined on his chair and looked at your body on the frame for a few seconds "Have a goodnight"
You nodded and left. He stood up to get a drink right after, hearing some noises outside that must have been you grabing your stuff. You were probably the last person on the floor besides him, and soon enough he would be alone, like he had been for so many nights, working until late, only able to go home to shower and come back. It wasn't much trouble, though, it's not like he could sleep even if he had the time.
A soft knock on the door surprised him, glass and bottle on each hand.
"Sorry to bother again" you said with only your head in the room after he told you to come in "But do you want help?"
He looked at you, at the pile and then at you again "You wanna help me with that?" you nodded "Why?"
"Nothing better to do" you shruged.
He should've said no. Should've told you to go home and have some rest.
He should have, yes.
"Have a sit" he pointed to the couch with the piles of papers he's been on for the last three hours.
You closed the door behind you and something on his skin tingled. You had never been this alone.
"Want a drink?" you didn't hesitate in accepting, as if waiting for him to offer.
Javier poured you one too and handed you the glass, something you thanked him for as you took a sip and he sitted beside you. You two stayed in silence reading, the only sound being the papers as you tossed them around.
"Can I give you an unasked opinion, sir?"
He almost laughed at that "Go ahead"
"You're separating these by topics, I see" he nodded "Taking one paper at the time and seeing what they are and then doing them separetly " he nodded again "I think it would be quicker if we made piles by the specific topics you have"
"You mean..."
"I mean" suddenly you stood up from the couch and knelt on the floor. Fortunally you didn't see his eyes going wide as you took a pile in your hands and put it beside you "You have a huge office, you should put the files on display and organize them better" you looked at him while taking the other piles "You helping?"
He smirked and hushed to help you. He liked this side of you; more relaxed, kind of bossy, tongue more loose... It was a shame you only showed him when there was alcohol running through your system.
"This, if you don't mind me saying, is how I organize the piles on your desk when I bring them to you, but you seem to prefer the hardest way"
Fuck, he was getting hard.
It was nuts. Absolutly nuts. What the fuck was happening, what effect was that you had on him? You did nothing but say a few dirty words without intention. Completely. Nuts.
"I do prefer the hard way" came out of his mouth before he could control it. If you didn't notice the double meaning or chose to ignore it, he didn't know "But I never noticed, no" he sighed "Honestly, I don't even know how it got to this point"
The paperwork, somehow, did accumulate, even though all he did of his life was working.
"I understand, I can see how you get lost in work" your focus was on the papers and you didn't seem to notice how he shifted on his place on the floor, trying to hide the beggining of an erection.
With your efficiency and new way of working, one hour and a half later and almost the whole paperwork gone, you're on your third glass and him on his fourth. He's used to drinking whiskey, but it was still alcohol, and it was making his skin buzz. You had already took off your blazer - his own gone hours ago - , wearing a thin blouse with a very modest neckline; your legs were crossed, making your skirt move up a little, and he was going crazy with just the tiny amount of skin you were showing.
"Can I ask you a question?"
"Go ahead" you didn't even move your eyes from the paper.
"Why didn't you go home?"
You don't talk for a few seconds and he took the opportunity to stare "There's nothing waiting for me at home"
That got him thinking about your moving there. To go from a small town in the countryside to a city like Bogotá, not knowing a soul; you had acquaintances, yes, but he saw you that day at the bar, they surely were people you liked to be with, but were not friends of yours. Javi had been there, too, actually, if he would be honest with himself, he was still in the same situation. When he moved to Medellín, he had those people he could go out with and grab a drink after work, but that was all; at least until Steve came into the picture, the person he never thought he would befriend with, the only real friend he'd had in years.
"Yeah, I kind of get that" your eyes meet "Work until late for a reason"
"I guess we both need to get a life, then" you smirked.
"Cheers to that" he raised his glass to you, you did the same until it clicked with his "So, life... How is yours going?" he tried to act nonchalant by moving his eyes on the paper in his hand "With that ex-boyfriend thing and all"
Your laugh was low "Don't do that"
"Do what?" he raised his eyes again to find yours still on him.
You tilted your head to the side "Don't go down that road when we're like this"
"Like what?" he caught the exact moment your eyes fell to his lips, so he casually wet them with his tongue. If he wasn't so absorbed by the thickness in the air, he would have laughed at the way your eyes shut and your head fell back to rest on the couch.
"Drunk and... Not thinking straight"
Javi raised his eyebrows "I like the winding thoughts I'm having, though"
"Yeah" the look you gave him made him shiver.
Without breaking eye contact, Javi belted down his drink to gain courage and slowly moved his body until you were pressed side by side, giving you time to get your space again if you wanted to.
"This fine?" his voice was barely louder than a whisper.
You nodded.
"What if I wanted to kiss you right now?" he rested one forearm on the couch to lean his face closer to yours.
You gulped as you stared into his eyes "Then I think you should do it before we-"
He didn't give you the time to finish your sentence before his lips were on yours. Your lips were soft, he could taste the whiskey on your tongue as well with the gums you would chew all day. His right hand went straight to your jawline to lead the kiss. It was not a lulled kiss, neither a gentle one, Javier was ruthless, taking out on your lips all the built up tension from the last few months. He couldn't believe it was finally happening. You were quick to follow his pace, your fingers grasping his shirt and pulling him even closer. The first moan you let out get Javi even more eagered, his hand passing down your body to grab your ass. You took advantage of his action and, before he knew, you were climbing up his lap, knees on each side of his torso, and once you were fully sitted on his lap, you both couldn't contain a moan. At that point, your skirt barely covered half your ass; because of that, he figured that you wouldn't mind his hands slowly rubbing up your tights until they reached the fabric and rolled it up your waist.
Javi parted your mouths to take a good look at you on his lap, his eyes wandered from your heavy eyelids, your lips puffy and red from the kisses, your blouse-covered chest raising and falling as fast as his until they got to the black thong you were wearing and he couldn't help but moan "Oh, fuck me"
"You like them?" your mouth came down his neck to give him wet kisses.
"How wouldn't I?" he held you by the nape of the neck and brought your mouths together again "I've wanted this for so long"
You released some kind of laughter "I know"
"Oh, do you?" he raised his brows.
"You're not exactly subtle for an agent" you murmured between kisses.
He snorts "Well, thanks for the insight"
Javi couldn't resist the urge to touch you through the tiny piece of fabric and you moaned at the pressure at your clitoris, but he moaned too at the wetness he found.
Javi didn't ask you how long you had wanted him, you were grinding on his lap at that moment and that was all that mattered. But he wished you had said it, that you had desired him as much as he had desired you, that all this time he had been imagining this moment, you were imagining it too.
"Fuck baby, you are so wet already" his tongue licked a stripe on your neck "All this for me?"
You answer was muffled by a moan; it seemed positive, but before he could confirm you were linking your mouths again in a searing kiss.
You started moving your hips on his erection and you both moaned at the pressure. Suddenly, his torso is being pushed down to the ground, chests pressed against each other, your fingers tangled his hair and pushed and he fucking whimpered.
Jesus Christ, he was in heaven and was not even inside of you yet.
You grinded furiously against him and he found it absolutly beautiful how you were using him to pleasure yourself and was not embarressed to do so. So. Fucking. Hot.
He felt like he was coming in any second.
"Fuck, you keep doing that and will have me cumming on my fucking pants, bebita"
"Oh, say it again!"
"What? That I'm within seconds to cumming?"
You moaned loudly at that "No- I mean, that too, that's hot, but- oh fuck"
"Bebita?" he felt you shiver at the pet name and chuckled "You like that, huh?"
You grabbed the nape of his neck and lowered your head to crush your lips to his again, tongues fighting heatedly. Javi started to feel that heat boiling at the bottom of his stomach, his hips grinded against yours and the pressure were just perfect; by the sounds you were making, you were as close as he was. Javi reached for you ass and grabbed it with both of his hands and squeezed, adding even more pressure to the grindness. At last, he sucked the pulse in your neck and you started to shake above him; that combined with the sweet noises that came out of you, he was gone.
You collapse on top of him, fingers unconsciously running through his hair; his members were sore and he was so tired and satisfied that he could sleep right there. The both fo you took deep breaths while your head rested on the gap of his neck and his on the floor.
"I can't remember the last time I did this" he was the first to break the silence.
"I actually do this everyday to my pillow" you mumbered humurously and he moaned.
"Shit, you're gonna be the death of me" his hand ran up and down from your ass to your backs, loving the feeling of your curves.
You raised your head to find his eyes and the moment was gone. You both realizing what you just had done, the before contentedness in him that was mirrowed in your eyes then turning into panic.
"Shit" you clumsly stood up. You put your skirt down as quickly as you could.
"It's getting late" it was already late when you came to his office "I should go" you should stay, he wanted to say.
But instead he only nodded. He knew it was for the best. He shouldn't have let it come this far.
You quickly get your stuff and wishes him a goodnight. His eyes don't leave you until you pass through the door, yours, though, don't meet him once.
He stayed there on the floor, cum staining his pants, and even though he was fully clothed, the room had never felt colder.
The next day was pure craziness. After you left his office, Javi went home, took a shower and lied in bed thinking of what had just happened between the two of you and what would happen from then on until he had to come back to work. Before he could even get to his office, you intercepted him with a cup of coffee and the news of a surprise and excruciating slow meeting with the ambassador, which led to another one with the CIA and then the atrocious combination of them both together. By the time Javi was freed from hell, everybody else were already leaving; due to your situation, he thaught that would be your case too, so he was surprised to see you still on your desk.
"I was waiting to see if you would need something else from me before I left" was your answer to the question on his face.
"I think I'm heading home too, actually" after a day like that, he felt like maybe he could even get some sleep.
He had work to do, yeah, and usually it didn't matter to him if his mind wasnt in the right place - it rarely was anyways -, but he knew nothing productive would result from working in that state. Javi also wanted to talk to you; he had so many thing in his mind, what he thought about during that whole previous night: he wanted you. So bad he didn't even know how to express it, so much he let himself cum in his pants just to get the little you were wailing to give to him. And he was concerned about what your reaction to that would be, because it was obvious that you wanted him too, but your actions showed him that you didn't want to want him. All those thoughts were consuming him, but it would have to wait for another day, he didn't think that was the right time, not at work. Maybe he could invite you for drinks and talk things through or-
"I was wondering if we could talk, too" you interrupt his thoughts "About yesterday"
If Javi wasn't a trained professional, he probably would've had his mouth opened in absolut shock. It was like you read his mind.
"Of course" you both looked around the department, the couple people remaining already preparing to leave. Still, he opened his office door and nodded for you to come in.
You were flustered, nervous even. Javi didn't know what to expect from that talk, he wished you would cave in to your needs and fuck him already, but he felt like you wouldn't be easy on him. Honestly, he couldn't read you.
The both of you stood akwardly in the middle of the room, door closed behind you. He waited patiantly for you to start talking, for you to take the lead of the conversation.
"So" you sighed "I wanted to apologise"
His face contorted in a deep frown "What for? You have nothing to apologise"
"I do, yes" you shook your head "It was completely irresponsible and unprofessional and we shouldn't have done that"
If you said you were embarressed last time, about the things you had said on the bar, Javi didn't know what you could possibly be feeling at that moment: your face was getting red, your eyes wouldn't meet his, your hands squeezed each other in your front; he kind of felt bad he was the cause of your discomfort.
"You didn't do anything by yourself"
"I jumped on you like a crazy-ass-horny woman!" over your shoulder, you look outside to see if there was anyone to witness your voice raising; there wasn't.
Javi could barely contain the smirk forcing itself upon his mouth at the memory of you riding him in that very same floor, just a few steps from where you stood. He really couldn't contain the beggining of an erection, though.
"And I loved that" you looked at him as if he was crazy for saying it "I did!" he took a few steps in your direction "And honestly, if anyone should be blamed it's me, I'm the boss, aren't I? The authority in the room or some shit like that"
The way you look at him said that you agreed, that he should be blamed too, should've had more self control, but you didn't say it and that made him smile, the way you still tried to keep your composure at work.
You sighed "Still, it wasn't right and I'm sorry"
"I'm not" he took another step towards you.
"It's not the point, sir"
"I don't think you are that sorry either" your brows raised in surprise "And fucking quit calling me 'sir' now, there's just us in here" another step.
"I'm just-" you shrugged "I'm trying to be professional, that's all"
"Baby we're a little too late for that now"
"Jesus Christ" you pinched the bridge of your nose, he could feel the frustration exhaling from you "You don't like to make things easy, do you?"
"What's the fun in that?" the joke landed flat "I have a proposal"
That got your attention "I don't think I like where this is going"
"Well, that's the thing" he took one more step "I think you do. You fucking grinded on me on this floor until we both came. You want me. What are you so afraid of?"
"You're my fucking boss!" your exasperation made him want to laugh and scream out of frustration at the same time "I like this job, I want to keep it"
"I would never put your job in risk"
"You can't be sure" it was true, Javi barely had a say in anything, but he would do anything in his power for you not to lose your job, especially because of him "And even if this" you pointed between the two of you "didn't make me lose it, it would be living hell if people found out"
"I can be discreet"
You crossed your arms "You're not taking me seriously"
"I am, I promise that I am" he really was "I just- You gave me a taste of what it would look like and now I'm starving for more" he scratched his chin, a little embarressed he let that slip out "I would do anything to have you for one night, we don't have to take work to the bedroom"
"Oh" you snorted "there's a bedroom in the scene now?"
"What?" he raised his brows "You thought I was fucking you in my office?" you went silent "You fucking did"
Javi is no romantic man, he thought about fucking you in every place possible, in the bathroom there, against the nearest wall, but when truly thinking about taking you, it would always be in a bedroom, somewhere you both would be able to take your time.
"Do you fantasize about it?" a step closer "Do you touch yourself thinking about me?" your eyes wouldn't meet his, so he carefully took your chin and angled your head until they did "Where?"
You gulped "Where what?"
"Where did you imagine?" his voice was barely above a whisper.
"Your desk"
"Fucking dirty woman" he smirked "I'm gonna fuck you on my desk, bebita" he took you by the waist, colliding your body to his "And on my couch" his nose traveled from your cheek to your neck "On the fucking window so eveyone can see how pretty you will look with my cock deep inside of you"
"Shit" your voice broke, breathless.
"Do you want it? Huh? To be full of my cock?" you nodded "I want words"
"Yes" you puffed.
"Yes what?"
You looked at him with a defiant look "Yes, sir"
He had to laugh "You are the worst"
His lips collided with yours with so much fierceness he was surprised they didn't start bleeding. His hands were all over your body, your breasts, your back, your ass. You pulled his hair with both hands and he moaned. Javi wanted you so bad it hurt. He decided to be bold and lifted you skirt to your waist, then placed you sitted on the edge of his desk, each of your legs on each side of his hips, pushing everything that was on your way to the floor, paying no attention to anything that wasn't you.
"I hate how you kiss me" you mumbled frustrated between kisses and he pinched his brows.
"You have a very distinct way to hate things"
"You just do it so well" your hands covered his cheeks "Makes me want to do this everyday"
Javi couldn't help but to smirk "I don't see why we can't"
"Yes, you do"
"All I see is a gorgeous woman with tasteful lips" he reached your covered mound and passed a finger through your folds, making you moan loudly ", wet lips" he smirked "telling me she wants to kiss me foverer"
You snorted "I didn't say that"
"That's what I heard"
"You are so cocky" you rolled your eyes.
"Damn right I am" Javi pressed his erection to your thigh.
"Yeah, I felt it yesterday" your hands went to unbuckle his belt, quickly reaching for his cock through his underwear and pumping him a couple of times "You're big, sir"
Javi moaned and threw his head back, enjoying the feeling, barely believing it was finally happening. You put down every piece of cloth in your way to his thighs, put your own panties to the side and started to guide him to your entrance.
"You think is gonna be that easy?" he murmured in your ear, dodging his dick to press on your clit instead, making you moan at the contact, but also groan out of frustration.
"After all this time, it should be"
"You know what I want to hear, baby" he peppered kisses on your neck while still grinding his dick from your clit to your entrance, you were so wet he knew you would have no difficulty to take him.
"Put this thing inside of me, already" you tried to move your hips to get more friction, frustration consuming you.
Even though Javi had a purpose of you to stop calling him 'sir', he could barely hold himself from sliping inside of you, so that's what he did. Your moan as he slowly made space for him inside of you will forever be in his mind. Javi cursed under his breath as your walls squeezed him and he had to take a moment to absorb the feeling. So warm, so wet, so tight, he was in heaven. But you were impatiant.
"Please, move"
"Say my name and I will"
"Why are you so attached to this?" you pinched your brows.
He did the same "Why are you so against saying it?"
You licked a stripe on his neck "To piss you off"
"That's okay" he smirked "You don't have to say it, I'm gonna make you scream it" he held your legs and roughly pushed inside expecting to hit your special place; by the way you gasped and grabbed him, he got it just right "Found it"
Javi ran his nose through your neck and your skin bristled "You're so sensitive here, aren't you, bebita?"
"I'm starting to think that you make me sensitive everywhere"
He laughed and stopped his movements again "Now that's a confession"
"What can I say?" you huffed "It seems like you make my mind go blank when you have your huge dick inside of me and won't. fucking. move"
He laughed and started to slowly take it out just to push it in again at the same speed.
"You're gonna fucking kill me" you whined "Please, faster"
"Are you needy, baby?" he licked your neck "I can feel you squeeze me. You're desperate for my cock, huh?"
"Yes"
"Yes, what?
"Yes, sir"
He increased the speed and you moaned louder "Unbelievable" his hips were reletless and he felt you getting tighter and tighter "You're almost there, aren't you, baby?" you couldn't speak, mouth half opened and nails digging into the skin of his arm "You like it rough, don't you?"
Then he stopped.
"What the fuck?" your voice is hoarsed.
"I'm fucking you slow, baby, is that a crime?" his smile was smudge
"You're evil" you whined, hips moving to find relief.
"I am evil? Who are you to talk about evil? You're fucking teasing me here, bebita. That's so wrong" he started to move slowly again "Just say my name and I'll let you cum"
You nodded your head no.
"Say it"
"No"
"Fucking say. It." he changed the angle to repeatedly hit that spot inside of you and pulled your hair until your back arched.
"Oh my God, Javi!" you screamed as you came hard on his dick, eyes closed tight, mouth opened and body tremblimg.
His name coming out of your mouth was like music to Javi's ears, and hearing it for the first time fomented something insane inside of him. He licked his thumb and pressed it hard against your clit, your eyes widened in surprise and he got a strangled sound out of your mouth as you came again, your body violently shaking under his hands.
"Oh shit, that's it, baby. You're fucking milking me. Shit, shit, shit."
His name was now floating through your lips like a hymn, and he loved to hear it.
"I'm gonna cum"
His words seemed to wake you from your trance "On my mouth"
"Shit" he steped away and out of you and one second later you were on the floor, knelt before him. You grabbed his dick with one hand, put the tip in your mouth and that's all it took for him to cum the hardest he had in his life. You sucked it, greedy until he had nothing more to give you "Let me see it, baby" he asked with a hoarsed voice, asking you to open your mouth, showing that you had swalloed it all "Fucking dirty woman"
You smirked and rested your forehead on his thigh, exausted.
"Come 'ere" he took your hand on his and got you to your feet, holding you against him by your waist "Can you walk?"
"I think I can learn how to do it again, yeah" he chuckled.
Javi lowered your skirt before sitting you on his desk again "How are you getting home?" he asked quietly as he slowly buttoned up your blouse, trying not to startle you and have you running away again.
"I'm taking a cab" you more gently than not stopped his fingers to continue the work yourself.
"Let me take you home" he fished your panties from the floor and put it in his pocked as he wore his pants again
"You don't have to"
"I know I don't. But I'm kind of worried if you will be capable to support yourself for enough time to call a cab after I fucked you this good"
You released the louder chuckle he had ever heard you give as you stood up "You're the absolute worst, Javier."
He started to get hard to the sound of his name on your lips.
"See? Perfectly stable" one of your eyebrows was raised and all he wanted to do was to kiss your attitude away.
"I guess I'll have to fuck you harder next time, then"
"I guess"
You both went quiet as you made your way out of the building and to his car, you only speaking to give him instructions to get to your place.
"There will be a next time, right?" he spoke as you left the car.
How silly of him to think that fucking you once would be enough, would make all the consuming desire go away, if something, it only made him want you more.
You took your time to look at him, as if staring directly to his soul and gave him a small smile.
"Good night, Javi"

Hii would you take a request for Luke x Athena!reader? Like an au where Luke isn't the one who turned and in the battle of Manhattan it's them and percabeth leading the camp in battle
Pairing: Luke Castellan x Athena!Reader
Summary: Percy thinks there's just about nothing that can pull you and Luke apart.
Notes: sorrry this took so long i had w block for a little bit. hope this is okay!!! also not proofread so lmk if there's any grammar mistakes lolss
Since he found out he was a demigod, Percy Jackson only ever had three things remain consistent in his fucked up life:
(1) His imminent doom.
(2) His mom’s undying support.
(3) Luke Castellan’s wandering eyes.
Even now, as he fights for his life against Kronos’ Army ten feet away from the Empire State Building. Whenever he gets the chance, Percy scans his eyes over their side of the fight. Making sure everyone is okay, aiding where he was needed. And every time, without fail, Luke was doing the same thing — only his eyes zeroed in one one warrior in particular. You.
It was a tether, Percy realised, but not just for Luke. Whenever things got particularly tough — whenever he found himself thinking about how much had changed and how much would change after this, he would hear you laugh and he would know you were laughing at Luke. Or he would glance over at where you sat, the son of Hermes never too far away. It would remind him of his first day at camp, when he was young and unaware, being given the immersive tour by the kind older counsellor he’d met ten minutes earlier, and watching as he looked back at the same group of campers whenever he got the chance. Until Percy, curious as he is, finally asked the question.
“Who is that?”
Luke had grinned like he was waiting for someone to segue the conversation to you, and began his spiel about the best demigod the Athena Cabin had ever seen. An exaggeration, Percy knew, since he’d seen the other Athena kids and their skill. And he’d been unnerved enough by Annabeth’s staring the whole day to know they each had their own stories.
But Luke didn’t seem to be thinking about the other Athena kids at that moment. His brown eyes shone as he watched you, a smile so soft it made Percy screw his face up a bit. Just say she’s your girlfriend, man, no need to start reciting poetry.
It was a classic case of the teenage honeymoon phase. Even though he was twelve, Percy knew the deal. He’d watched Glee.
But where the honeymoon phase is supposed to end, yours remained. Apparently it wasn’t a phase at all, and you guys really were just sickly in love. It was horrible, but it also helped Percy stay sane as the world shifted around him with every passing moment.
Like earlier, when they were laying out the plans just after Kronos had put Manhattan to sleep. It seemed like aeons ago he was standing in the quiet, zoned in on nothing in particular, flinching at the hand that brushed his shoulder. It was you, Luke not far behind like he always had been.
“You okay?”
He shrugged, “I dunno.”
Luke snorted, patting him on his other shoulder, “You’ll be good, man.”
“Really?” He scoffed a laugh, “I’m fifteen, leading an army isn't my job. If anything, you guys should be the ones in charge.”
“Callin’ us old, sucker?” You joked, pinching him. He hissed and you laughed. Almost automatically, Percy’s eyes went to Luke, who was looking at you with a soft smile like he always did whenever you laughed. He’d once told Percy, last year before he set out to go into the Labyrinth, that he could recognise your laugh from a mile away.
“I don’t know what we're gonna do.” He frowned.
“Good thing our girls are Athena kids then, huh?” Luke quipped. Percy’s face dusted red at the insinuation, but the embarrassment was enough to knock him out of his stupor. Luke patted him again, “We’ve got this. And if we don’t, at least we’re going out with a bang, right?”
“Right.” Annabeth sidled up to them. “So are you guys done chatting or are we gonna wait a little longer, give Kronos a head start?”
“Nah, we’re going.” Luke straightened himself, looking each of them in the eye, “Ready?”
They shared some smiles, You and Annabeth did some weird sibling handshake that was way too complicated, then Luke was putting his hand in the centre of them all and waiting for three other hands to join it. “For Olympus?”
“No.” Percy interrupted. He thought about the kids that were ready to fight with their lives, the ones who had already given theirs. He thought about Annabeth and her plans for the future. He thought about you and Luke, and how extravagant your wedding could be with Annabeth as the planner and the Stolls as the ring bearers (an actual conversation he’d overheard the two of you having once), and he thought about how they all deserved peace after the hellish three years they had gone through ever since Zeus’ lightning bolt was stolen, and grinned, “For the demigods.”
“For the demigods!”
He thinks back on that conversation during the meeting with the Olympians after the battle was done. When Athena is thanking you, when Hermes steps up and thanks you too. And when Zeus says, “All rise for Percy Jackson, Hero of Olympus.” He hesitates, holds out a hand and corrects him. The next time the god speaks, it is with your name, Luke’s and Annabeth’s. Percy would have asked him to name everyone who had helped out, but they’d be there all day.
When all was said and done, he turned around and said, “They coulda told us all that in an email.”
They laughed. You laughed, and when Percy glanced over, Luke was smiling at you.

Will You Forgive Me? (Joel Miller x Reader)
Pairing: pre-outbreak!joel miller x f!reader
Warnings: 18+, minors dni, jealousy, possessiveness, smut, oral sex (f receiving), p in v sex, unprotected sex (wrap it up guys) (lmk if i missed any)
Summary: After a fight with Joel, you decided to go to the bar and got drunk. He got angry and apologized to you in his own way. 😏
Words count: 1.4k
A/N: Hi! I’m not a native English speaker so I’m sorry if I have grammar mistakes or the sentences come up unnatural, please be nice and I'm open for suggestions. I hope you like the smut I’m writing because I am inexperienced lol. I hope you enjoy it.
Tumblr media
You got in your car, hesitating to drive, hoping Joel would come out and stop you. But he wasn’t there. So you drove away and went to the bar called Ray’s where you usually drank with him. You found a seat and drank a lot. You started feeling tipsy and you decided to call him.
“Hey handsome, I take it back. We’re not breaking up. Ugh. No. I’m done. I don’t care. Uhm. I. Uhm. Don’t call me. Why are you calling me?” You were drunk and you thought he called you when you were the one who called him.
“Are you drunk? Where are you?” Joel grabbed his jacket and rushed to his car, and he was getting worried.
“Why do you care? You don’t love me.” You laughed.
“Tell me right now! Where are you?” He raised his voice and started to get angry.
“You know where, here, there, at Ra- Hey! Did you just grab my ass? Fuck you!” You hung up and confronted the drunk guy.
“Fuck!” Joel started his car and drove as fast as he could to the bar. He guessed it's Ray's since your call was cut off and it’s the only bar you’ve gone to together.
His blood was boiling as he walked in the bar and found the drunk guy was hugging you as you tried to pull away. He came to you and pushed the guy. You gasped as Joel punched the guy.
He gave a death stare and yelled, “You stay away from my girl!”
Joel grabbed your wrist and dragged you out of the bar. His grip was very strong and it was hurting you.
You tried to release your wrist from him, “Joel, stop it, you’re hurting me, it hurts.”
He didn’t care. He kept dragging you and put you into the passenger seat of his car and slammed the door. You were scared, you have never seen him this angry before. As he got in the driver’s seat, he hit the steering wheel.
"What the fuck were you thinkin'?!" Joel clenched his jaw and stared at you.
“Oh! Now you care, huh?” You scoffed.
Joel growls. He didn’t say anything.
“My head hurts. Will you just take me to my house?” You asked Joel.
The whole way to your house was just silence. Joel parked his car into the driveway. You immediately got out of the car and stood in front of your door looking for your keys.
“Fuck! Where is it?” You were annoyed as you couldn’t find your keys.
Joel opened the door with the spare key you gave him. You rolled your eyes as you walked inside and Joel followed you. He pulled you to his chest and kissed you roughly while his foot kicked the door to close it.
“What are you doing?” You sounded irritated and pushed him.
Joel sighed, “I..Uhm..”
“Tell me you love me, Joel.”
Joel cleared his throat, not answering you.
“If you can’t say it then get out.” You were tired of him.
“I..I love you. I mean it. It’s just that..”
“Just what, Joel?”
“I’m not good in expressin’ myself.” He let out a sigh. “I fuckin’ love you. You should know that.”
“Oh, Joel. I just needed to hear those three little words from you. I’m sorry I blew up like that.”
“No, it’s not your fault. I was wrong.” He said it softly as he walked slowly and closer to you.
Your eyes were getting teary and you looked down. Joel’s hands raised your chin to look straight into your eyes. He kissed you deep with his tongue caressing your lips then your tongue touched his. You moaned and put your arms around his neck while his hands on your hips. The two of you kept kissing as he raised your leg to his hips carrying you towards the stairs. He pressed you to the wall after walking up just a few stairs. The kissing never stopped. He held your weight with his strong hips and thighs. He slid his hand under your shirt, massaged your breast, and swallowed your moan. You felt arousal pooling between your legs.
“Touch me, Joel.” You guided his other hand to your cunt and he palmed it with his big hands.
“Already wet for me, darlin’?”
He kneeled and pulled your panties down. His eyes looked hungry when he saw your pussy shining with your slick. He kissed your inner thigh slowly and lovingly before he went to lick your clit.
“Oh, Jooell.” You gasped.
Your breathing was heavy and you pulled his hair which made him let out a moan. He kept licking and slurping you up and down. Your thigh trembled and you knew you needed him.
“Joel, bedroom, now.”
Joel stopped to look at you. You held his hand and dragged him to your room. The kissing and touching continued as the two of you were already in your bedroom. You walked backwards and led him to your bed. You undressed yourself, naked and laid on your back. He climbed on top of you kissing your neck and his fingers played with your nipple. He was a lot bigger than you, his broad shoulder covered all of your body and you could feel his warmth wrapping you.
“Let me ride you, Joel.”
“Not tonight, baby. Let me make you feel good. Let me take care of you tonight, baby.”
You groaned as his words made you even more horny.
“Okay, take care of me tonight, Miller. Fuck me till I can’t walk.”
“I will.” He growled as he stood up beside the bed and pulled his shirt and pants off letting his cock free. You can see a leaking pre-cum on his tip.
He climbed back on top of you, brushed his tip on your clit, covering his cock with your slick before he slowly pushed himself in your entrance. You moaned as it felt so good when he stretched you wide. He rested his hands beside your head to hold his weight and started to move slowly. He started kissing your breast and licking your nipple. He was so good that you loved him doing that to you. You shut your eyes enjoying the night and clenched your hands to his shoulder.
“Fuck! That feels so good. You’re so good, Joel.”
He didn’t answer. He rubbed your clit with his thumb and pinched your nipple with the other hand. He kept doing those moves you loved to please you. He started to think that this position was not enough for you so he shifted you to your stomach and started fucking you from behind. You moaned loudly.
“Can you move faster?” You asked Joel and his thrusts were getting faster.
There was no other sound besides the sound of skin to skin, moans and heavy breathings. He clenched his hands on your hips. You whimpered, bit your hand as you felt you were close.
“Joel, Joel, fuck!” It felt so good that you could only whimper and shout his name.
“Cum for me, baby.” He kept pleasing you.
You panted and felt your vision blurring. You squeezed your eyes shut, hands clenching on the sheets, and screamed his name. You felt your orgasm washed all over your body. You shivered and it felt like heaven. He has made you cum thousand times before but orgasm from makeup sex is your favorite. He let you catch your breath and came down from your orgasm as he laid down beside you. You tried to stand up to clean yourself but you couldn’t walk. Your legs were shaking. Joel really did what you told him to do.
“You really did what I told you, huh?” You chuckled and looked at his face full of sweat.
“I told you I will do it. Fuck you till you can’t walk.” He sounded so sexy when he said that to you with his deep voice.
He got up and walked his way to the bathroom to get a towel and dampen it with water. He came to you and cleaned you up. After he cleaned you, he laid beside you again, pulled you closer to him, wrapped his arm around you, and put your head to his chest.
“I’m sorry, baby. I love you. Will you forgive me?” He apologized to you and kissed your forehead.
“How can I not forgive you after all of this?” You laughed and kissed his chest. In fact, you have even forgotten about the fight with him.
You thought to yourself, “Joel really knows how to apologize in his own way.”

holy shit Tysm that went completely over my head I’ll edit it now
I’m a major sucker for swap AUs when they’re done right, but one of my biggest pet peeves about them other than the horrendous mischaracterisation is headspace.
the idea of exploring another character’s headspace seems really interesting and fun at first, but when you really think about it, it’s not really in character for anybody else than sunny.
He’s established in canon to always be lost in his own worlds and imagination, so of course something like headspace would be totally in character for a coping mechanism for him. But it doesn’t really work with anyone else, and that’s the problem.
Most people don’t even get too creative with their alternate headspaces as well, which I personally think would be the appeal of giving one to another character in the first place. Like, none of the other characters except maybe Kel would really have headspace’s narrative play out like a video game. That’s a sunny thing, because he’s shown to like video games. For someone like Mari in the OMARI AU, there’s no way she’d have a video game like world in her head. You could get away with comics or something since she’s shown in canon to be interested in that type of media, but there’s no evidence of her having any attachment to games.
So my proposal, and how I’m probably going to approach headspace from now on in any further aus, is to explore it from SUNNY’s perspective. It stays in character and gives a lot of room for character exploration as well. Like, take it from a “hikikel” (I think that’s what that au type is called?) perspective, just as an example. Now we’re no longer exploring headspace from the perspective of someone who did the crime but of someone unrelated. As well as that we’re seeing it from the perspective of a sunny after hero’s death. How would he take it? What choices would he make in his headspace to hobo ur hero’s memory? Thought it was fun and now boom I’ve been distracted all weekend trying to think of things for this. I came up with about doing this the other day and was very happy about it SO I’m putting it on tumblr in case anyone else would like to do that lol anyways I’ll probably be back with new stuff for this au so yeah fun time

You were currently wrapped in Oscar’s arms, playing with his light brown hair, his face stuffed in your neck. You both could feel the heartbeats of one another and the warmth the two of you produced with your bodies. Your breathing synced with his, and your arm snaked around his waist.
“Do you wanna do something else?” you asked, Oscar, who was once hidden in your neck now looked up at you. Looking at his moles, he had quite a lot. Every time the both of you cuddled you couldn't help but kiss the moles on his face. A habit you picked up ever since you guys started dating.
He scrunched his eyebrows, “What do you wanna do? I'm up for anything.” many ideas raced in your mind, suddenly you had an idea. It was as if a lightbulb had lit up.
“Maybe we could bake something. Like cookies,” you said, knowing that chocolate chip cookies were your favorite dessert ever. Oscar knew that. Any time you guys went to a bakery your #1 pick was always chocolate chip cookies, they always brought a smile to your face.
Oscar immediately knew your ideas for baking some chocolate chip cookies. “Do we have the ingredients?”
You quickly nodded, you’d stocked the food supplies a couple of days ago. Swiftly, you took one motion to get up and go to the kitchen, Oscar just right behind. Opening the pantry you grabbed some flour, chocolate chips, and other necessities while Oscar turns on some music.
“Okay let's wash our hands!” you exclaimed, making your way to the sink and of course, do as you said. Oscar followed your words and too washed his hands.
“I’ll do the wet ingredients and you do the dry ones,” you said, knowing that if you left him with the more "complex" one it would instantly contort into complete disarray.
You began microwaving the butter and putting sugar in the bowl while waiting. Mixing up the butter and sugar blend you look over at Oscar who just had to measure and put flour in a bowl. You emit a sigh, he already messed up. A faint of flour was in his hair, fluffing it up to hopefully get rid of it.
“Oscar…” you mutter, trying to stifle a laugh. A huge white patch which was obviously flour on his shirt. You tried your best to wipe the patch off, but there it was still there. Looking up at your boyfriend you could see he was pouting. He could tell you were about to laugh.
“Stop… Baby, don't laugh at me!” he whined, and those exact words made you erupt in laughter. His pout soon contorted into a smile. Your boyfriend enjoyed hearing the sound of your laughs, chuckles, and guffaws. Your laugh with the faint music in the background was perfect for him. As if he was in a movie.
“Babe!” he groaned, he too trying to suppress a laugh. You tried to stop laughing and say something.
“You… Look… Aha! I can't.” you manage to say while laughing. At this point, Oscar was frowning and cracking up at the same time. You then looked at the ground which was all a mess, and your jaw dropped.
“Oscar!” you playfully slapped his arm, most of the flour was now on the floor. Rolling your eyes you look up at him, signaling for him to clean it.
Later, you both finished making the cookie dough and were currently waiting for it to be done baking in the oven. The once messy floor was now cleaned up, looking clean and new. Unexpectedly, you and Oscar’s favorite song played. You looked at him and smiled.
“Shall we dance?” he asked, sticking his hand out for you to grab. The song held so much importance to both of you. It was the song that played when you two first met at a caf.
“Of course.” you smiled, taking his hand and whirling into his embrace. Your feet moved along with the slow beat of the music, the sound of steps reflecting off your wood floor. The sound of your heartbeat was fast and you couldn't contain the amount of love you had for Oscar. Resting your head on his shoulder, you could only smile. Young and in love, was what many people said to you. And it was true. The growing infatuation you both had for each other was immense, you were each other's rock, soulmate, and love of course.
Oscar twirled and dipped you as you both danced, a smile playing on each other's lips. And with one single twirl, you were enveloped in his arms. The song soon ended with both of you staring at each other. You couldn't help but connect your lips with his.
“I love you,” he whispered with a toothy smile.
“I love you too,” you whispered back and gave him a peck on the cheek. You stood there in love until realization hit you both…
“Oh shit, the cookies!” you both exclaimed, rushing to the oven.

A/N: HAPPY PRIDE MONTH EVERYONE!! Today I just wrote some silly little headcanons on how I think some JJK characters would react to you coming out to them as Non-Binary and asking them to use they/them pronouns for you (this is DEFINITELY not completely self indulgent. Definitely not, mhm.) Also, readers relationships with everyone is platonic as I picture them as a minor in this. It’s not clear that they’re a minor though so you don’t need to keep that in mind.
— Peanut <3
————————————
How JJK Characters Would React To You Coming Out To Them As Non-Binary And Asking Them To Use They/Them Pronouns For You || Part 1 [Satoru Gojo, Toji Fushiguro, Sukuna Ryomen]
Summary: you come out to JJK Characters as non-binary and ask them to use they/them pronouns.
Genre: Fluff
Warnings: Reader uses they/them pronouns, reader is AFAB in Toji’s, fluff, mentions of transphobia, mentions of death, not proofread, possible grammar and spelling mistakes, lmk if I missed anything.
————————————
Satoru Gojo
Tumblr media
“Coolio.” He gives you a thumbs up and a bright smile.
He moves on pretty quickly, so you assume he doesn’t want to make you uncomfortable by making a scene.
Or at least that’s what you thought until the next day when you came into the classroom, ready for another day at Jujutsu High.
It started like any normal day until you opened the classroom door and there’s party poppers exploding your way, drenching you in confetti.
“SURPRISEEEEE!!”
You are completely taken off guard, not expecting this at all.
There is rainbow bunting everywhere, rainbow napkins and rainbow plastic cups. There is a cake on one of the desks drowned in skittles.
Gojo forced everyone to wear party hats with the non-binary flag on them as well.
Megumi is wearing his usual deadpan face while Nobara is yelling at Yuji for screaming in her ear.
Gojo may seem like an idiot who can’t remember anything for the life of him, but that’s actually just a facade.
He does a great job at adjusting to your new pronouns and will 100% purple anyone if they’re being transphobic and/or purposely misgendering you.
“That should sort them out.”
Ultimately I think Gojo would be the sweetest and he might even throw an annual party to commemorate when you came out. If you don’t want that though, he’ll drop the idea. He just wants you to be happy and he’s glad you feel comfortable enough around him to come out and show your true self.
Toji Fushiguro
Tumblr media
“What does that mean?”
You’re gonna have to explain to him what non-binary means.
But once you do, he replies with a simple “okay.” And moves on.
He doesn’t make a big deal out of it or throw a party because it’s not a big deal to him.
If you want to throw a little party, he doesn’t mind. But at the end of the day, you’re still you.
He tries his best to adjust to the new pronouns. Key word: tries.
“Her pronouns are they/them!”
“Their pronouns are they/them…” You sigh.
“Oh shit, my bad.”
If anyone is being transphobic towards you, you better believe he’s gonna be right there, giving them a stare that will probably make that person regret what they’ve said IMMEDIATELY.
“What the fuck did you just say?”
At the end of the day, he cares a lot for you, but you’re going to have to be patient with him because this old man can’t even remember his son’s name, let alone that he has a son.
Sukuna Ryomen
Tumblr media
“What are you talking about, brat?”
Sukuna is ANCIENT, so you’re gonna have to break down what gender even means first 😭 (gender is a construct formed by humans, that’s why you’ll need to explain).
He’ll get it after a few times of explaining.
When he does get it though, he acts like he could honestly give less of a shit.
“Okay, I’m gonna go destroy the world now.” Kinda response.
Despite his aloof response, he makes an effort to change your pronouns and it may come as a surprise, but he does a good job at it.
He recognises that misgendering you wouldn’t keep you happy — and while he usually enjoys the suffering of others — when it comes to you, seeing you happy pleases him, and everything he does is to please himself, so seeing you upset would be unproductive for both of you.
People know not to mess with you for this reason. Because even others see the clear favouritism.
So if anyone is being transphobic towards you and/or purposefully misgendering you, they probably don’t know who Sukuna is or they’re asking for a death wish.
“Foolish vermin. Don’t listen to them, brat.”
Despite his harsh tone and names, Sukuna’s all bark and no bite to you and you only (for at least the time being). So despite the fact he’s a curse well over 1000 years old who wants nothing than the world to turn into pure carnage, he cares for you more than he would like to admit, so you don’t need to ever worry about him misgendering you.

Week two of training was the most difficult for all of them. Maverick explaining the depth of the mission and its details seemed to only add to your doubt that someone may not be coming back from the mission. But also fueling into the idea that it’s downright impossible.
“...Your airspeed will be 660 knots, minimum. Time to target; two and a half minutes…”
“...Your airspeed will be 660 knots, minimum. Time to target; two and a half minutes…”
Mission details were unfolded one by one. You glanced towards Coyote as you sat next to him, eyes wandering towards Hangman who was just cross. He looked weirdly relaxed for a mission which was probably impossible. The cold AC from above you was doing nothing to calm your shaking.
Maverick continued about how time was to be your greatest adversary and the amount of forced G’s your will be facing throughout the simulated mission before dismissing everyone into their teams for the exercise.
“Time to target is one minute thirty, we are two seconds behind.”
“We gotta move, Coyote, Athena.”
You heard Bob and Phoenix warn over the radio, examining the pathway ahead of you. The sheer force of gravity pushed the air out of your lungs as you let the familiar thrill of it take over you. A good one in fact-whenever you were at a high altitude. But now at a much lower hard deck, you felt like this was the last thing you’d ever wanted to do.
“Increase speed to 480 knots.” You ordered Coyote from behind him in the dual jet.
“Copy, increasing speed.” Javy replied back just as he increased his speed to Bob. You looked down on the pathway ahead through the small screen, taking notice of a slight edge that was sticking out of the hill. A possible disruption that could be a problem when Javy takes a turn. But before you could issue a warning Javy pushed on the throttle to increase his speed; instantly pulling it back down as he almost made contact with the side of the hill.
“Oh shit.”  Phoenix grunted over the radio, leaving You to look over their plane as it manoeuvred over yours, hitting the max ceiling.
Everyone had taken their turns, with only Rooster managing to successfully complete the exercise without breaking any of the conditions. They sat back in the hanger, analysing where everyone had gone wrong. You were starting to zone out next to Coyote but tried to keep a straight mind and focus on Mav’s critics. Before you could fully fall asleep on Javy, he tapped your thigh softly. Gesturing to the simulation that was now playing again on the screen.
“Why are they dead?” Mav questioned. Looking pointedly towards you and Coyote but before you could open her mouth to answer him, Phoenix piped up.
“We broke the 300-foot ceiling. The SAMs took us out.” She explained causing Maverick to shake his head and looking back at you and Coyote straight in the eye.
“No, why are they dead?” Dragging each word out.
“I slowed down and I didn’t give her a warning. It's my fault.” Coyote answered.
“Athena? Why are they dead? Was there a reason you didn't communicate with your team?” He pressed again. He knew about the systems as well as any other fighter pilot, he was once best friends with a WSO.
He had heard about your tales during your academy days through Warlock and Cyclone. The best of the best. So, for someone like you to not be at the top of your game was slightly concerning to Maverick.
“I saw the obstruction but I didn't give a warning in time. This led to Coyote increasing and decreasing his speed in an instant. Phoenix almost crashed into us before she had to break the ceiling in order to not crash. I’m sorry, sir.” You explained yourself, adding the apology at the end to console him as if you were talking to their family.
“An apology their family will accept at the funeral.” He stated before moving onto Phoenix and Bob.
Your head was hung low as you tried thinking back to when you were completing the exercise. To anyone it would have looked as though she saw it coming but weren't fast enough to give a warning in time. But to you, it was a late reaction time. As someone who was known to have a quick reaction to almost anything, this was unusual. A turn on the terrain that you were briefed on prior to it was only the simplest of tasks that even an undergraduate would have done. What is going on with your mind?
Football was a weird game. Having grown up playing anything other than the most beloved sport in the country, you- to this day couldn't understand why it was called football when all you did was pass the football with your hands.
Regardless, you didn't have much of a choice as it was already decided long ago by Maverick that today was Dogfight Football day.
“Offence and defense at the same time.” as Mav put it before selecting teams. Somehow you had ended up on the team opposite to Hangman’s. Lining up in your respective positions, you locked eyes with him. Putting two fingers up to where his eyes were and then pointing them back towards yourself as you heard Hindi’s whistle go off.
Every move you made, you felt him somewhere behind, but everytime you looked behind you found nothing.
You didn't know how long it had been since you’d started playing under the scorching heat that was beating down your backs. All you could feel was Hangman’s burning gaze in the back of your skull everytime you moved to defend.
“Yo, Thena! Heads up!” Payback shouted from ahead of you. Pointing to Rooster who was about to throw the ball in your direction.
You successfully managed to grab the ball from him, and just as she was about to throw it to Coyote, you felt it. A growing numbness in your skull. Head throbbing as it had done countless times in the last week. You shook your head, making a run for it regardless and throwing the ball towards Coyote without a second thought. He catched it with ease as you felt some of the people move from behind you to intercept it.
A hand suddenly appeared on your shoulder, jumping back in surprise, you turned towards the person who had just scared the living shit out of you.
“Woah. sorry, didn't mean to scare ya’ there, Athena.” Mav apologised before managing to grab a distance between the two of you.
“This is probably not the best time to talk about this but do y’ have a moment?” He asked politely before gesturing you off the makeshift field that you’d been playing on.
“Is everything okay, sir? If this is about the exercise the other day, I truly didn't have enough time to react to it-”
“It's not that.” He stopped you from rambling on before it got out of control. “I read your records, you graduated as a WSO and Fighter pilot?”
“Yes, sir.” You moved your hands behind your back, answering him curtly as you started walking back towards the beach chairs.
“May I ask how? It's not to be rude or anything, just curious. You don't see something like that everyday on someone’s file.”
Highlighting an interest in your training was something many people had done in the past. It was true, the path of training for both statuses wasn't nearly as easy as you had thought. It wasn’t even possible when you had presented the idea to her training officer back when you were a Top Gun trainee.
“I taught myself, actually. My training instructor said it was impossible and not typical for US pilots to be trained in both. But I already had previous training in both fields from being an weapons system operator overseas as an apprentice. I passed basic and complex training programmes for them. So they let me graduate with both diplomas.” You explained, going over each detail of your training. Which led Mav to question you further as you reached the end of the wet sands where Colonel Simpson stood, hands on his hips.
“What is this?” He questioned, looking over to the team that had Bob on their shoulders cheering for him as he made the last touchdown.
It made you smile.
“It’s dogfight football, offence and defence at the same time.” Mav repeated what he had explained to the rest earlier.
As Cyclone enquires further about the Mav’s game plan of making the guys a team, you moved further up the beach where Penny sat, most likely doing her taxes.
“Hey kiddo.” Penny says as you approach the bench she was sat on. Giving you a small wave. “There is beer inside if you want any, on the house.”
“Thank you Penny, but I’m technically working.” Slumping down across from her on the warm wood, you gave her a smile before looking out towards your friends and teammates. A solemn look on your face.
You let your eyes scan for him. Not wanting to make the staring obvious, but failing, because at that exact moment you unintentionally makes eye contact with his green orbs. Even from a few hindered yards of distance, you could make out that damn smirk that graces his lips again, sending you a wink.
“So, what’s up with you and Hangman?” Penny piped up, a suggestive smile on her face as she wiggled her eyebrows.
“What? Nothing. Nothing is going on between me and Jake.” You clarified, blood rushing it’s way up your neck and ears as you felt them burn hot.
“Didn’t look like that the other night.” That piqued your interest, looking back towards the older woman with a confused look.
“What do you mean?”
“The man couldn’t take his eyes off you the whole night, sweetie. Unfortunately, you were far too gone to notice it that day. Looked like a kicked puppy when you left with Coyote.” She explains,
“I think you should talk to him about it.”
Your mind wanders back to that night. A blurry haze of whiskey and pool. It was true that you had feel his stare from the moment you’d stepped foot at the hard deck but it didn’t take you long before you had completely blanked out.
“Oh” was the only thing you managed to choke out before you took notice of everyone that was currently making their way back towards the Hard Deck. Sending a wave towards them, you saw Payback and Coyote making a run towards you. Immediately knowing what they were up to, you made a run for it.
“You can’t run from us, Thena!” You heard them shout from behind you.
Running as fast as your lungs could take you. Causing them to lose your tail in the process but just as you were about to make a turn around the back entrance of the Hard Deck, you collided with hard flesh, almost losing your balance. Sweaty arms wrapped themselves around your waist as your eyes locked with marble irises. Jake. Your hands found a place at the centre of his chest as you stabled on your feet again.
“Woah there, sweetheart. Where are you off to?” Goddamn that accent was gonna be the death of you. You shook her head, as if physically trying to push the thoughts away from your mind. Refusing to speak to him, afraid that if you did- everything Penny had just told you about that night would spill like a waterfall.
Hesitantly, you cleared your throat, attempting to get away from him but his hands stayed put at the dip of your hips, locking you in place. You resisted his touch, struggling to remove his hands from you as he trapped you between him and the unusually cold wall behind her.
“Hangman, let go.” You spoke through gritted teeth.
He laughed at your failed attempts, there was no malice in it, but you couldn’t quite place what else it could be either.
He shook his head when you give up, crossing you arms in front of your chest. Looking up at him through thick lashes. The glowing sun that bounced off his back and the grains of sand that stuck to his chest did nothing to stop you from staring at him only made him look more heavenly. Stop it, you scolded yourself.
“What do you want?”
“You.”
You blinked, once, then twice, eyes widening in shock as your mouth fell open. Thinking you may have misheard him. Or even failed to hear a word or two before he said it.
“What?”
“I want you.”
It fell off his lips so softly that you almost melted in place. He placed a hand just under your jaw, forcing you to look him right in the eyes as he cupped the right side of your face. He looked at you with such tender and soft eyes, it made you dizzy. Heat radiating itself off his body suddenly did nothing to stop that.
You shook your head. This couldn't be happening. Not now…not when you were so close to proving yourself to him. That you didn't need him, not for the mission, not in any way.
“Jake...” His name floated out her mouth like a prayer, pleading. You tried again, to remove his touch that was burning into your skin, like it was to leave its traces forever.
You finally broke eye contact, looking down towards your feet that were buried in the sand, digging your toes further into them. Trying to ground or bury yourself in the warm grains.
“Jake, no, I can’t.” Pleading to him.
You didn't want to explain your reasoning, it was stupid, yes. But you don't wants to give him the satisfaction of doing a bigger mission without having to tell you why he left. If he had done so just before he had left, you may have forgiven him, but it’s done.
“Thena…if this is about me leaving you in Atlanta, i am so-”
“No, Jake. You don’t get to just leave and then apologise about it later. What if we weren't invited back to fighter town for this mission? Then what? What would you have done? Came back and apologised? Would you have done that?” You questioned, anger and frustration lacing your words.
His hands dropped, head hung low as he moved a step away before you continued; “No, you wouldn't because you are Jake Seresin. You don't get to stand here and confess that you want me when you could have been a decent person and apologised when we saw each other again at the hard deck two weeks ago.”
You huffed, vision blurring with the tears that were rolling down your cheeks in anger. You wiped them off immediately, finished with the reason as to why you were so angry at him.
“They kicked me off the team a day after you left, Hangman.”
His callsign held no malice as it left your mouth. This caused his head to turn back up, looking at you with a frown as you continued,
“Torch had called me into his office after you left and told me to pack my bags and leave. Saying I wasn’t needed on the team because you weren't there.”
He stood there with his feet planted into the sand. In disbelief. He hadn't known they had kicked you off the team, sure he had told Torch (the commanding officer for the mission) his reason for leaving but he hadn't expected them to throw you off the team.
But before he could open his mouth to apologise or comfort you, you moved, away towards your car that was parked just across from where you stood in the parking lot. Backing away while he still stood in front of the wall, pondering over his actions.
Snapping out of his daze, he ran after you, calling your name, telling you to stop which only made you go faster. As you got near to your car, you slowed, fresh tears still falling from your eyes. You tried to calm down.
Opening your car and locking the door. You heard frantic knocks on the window before Jake’s voice came through, muffled.
“Thena, Open the door! I just want to talk about this! Please!”
You ignored his pleading, closing your eyes and breathing deep before you fished out the keys from your shorts pocket and started the car. The knocking only got louder and his shouting more frantic as you pulled out of the parking space. Leaving him standing in the middle of the parking lot tarmac as you drove off.
You wished you could turn back time. Back to that goddamn mission and not argued with him everytime he opened his mouth. Maybe he would have stayed, maybe then you would have told him how you had liked him for so long. Maybe this mission wouldn't be so hard on you if you had told him this years ago. Spilling all of your love out for him the second he’d showed up at your doorstep that night when Javy wasn't in town to comfort you over a break up. Maybe he would have been the one…

An Obedient Wife : zhongli
˚ ༘ .˚⏳TW୭ ˚. ᵎᵎ forced marriage, emotional & physical abuse, ooc!zhongli, pet names, trauma, kidnapping, mentions of “guizhong”. (lmk if i missed some and if there’s any grammar mistakes!!)
Zhongli had always been a good husband, at least that was what others thought.
His very handsome face can attract anyone who sees it, his muscular, dashing and ideal body always manages to seduce women.
Whoever managed to get him was the luckiest person, that's what they thought. And you really want to deny it outright.
“Good morning, my love.” A deep voice that echoed in the room greeted you and made you startled. You, who were cooking for yourself and your husband, Zhongli, immediately stopped to give him a hug as a morning greeting. “Good morning, babe.”
Zhongli happily returned your hug. Your hand is now touching his. Cold, that's what you feel. The coldness made you a little surprised and made you have to adjust to the touch of his hand.
His hands were cold, as usual.
He was the one who ended the cold hug. His amber eyes which always watched your movements were now looking at you sharply even though you’re his wife now.
“Wife, i'm going somewhere after this.”
“Huh? What about the breakfast i made?”
He played with strands of your hair, then kissed it. His gaze remained on the strands of your hair that he was holding.
“You have to eat it alone as usual, you don't mind it—” he's looking at you now, and it feels like a threat. “—Right?”
“Yeah… yeah of course.” You looked down to hide your pathetic face. “… as usual.” your murmurs as small as possible.
He lowered his head to whisper in your ear. "Don't try to escape, or i’ll punish you.”
You flinched slightly at that, then tried to adjust your expression. "Of course. Why would I run away?"
Hearing the answer he wanted, he then let go of a strand of your hair and smiled. “Alright.”
You looked at zhongli who turned around and walked away from you. You can only stare at him, without being able to say anything.
“…..” silence fell for a few moments, that’s before you decided to let out your voice, preventing him from going any further. “Actually, zhongli…”
His steps stopped. Without looking at you, he replied, “yes?”
Suddenly your heart beats faster than before .“Um…” you play with your fingers. “Can i… can i see my parents?”
There was no response from him yet making you scared. “Just this once, please.”
“Neverm—“ Before you could process what was happening, zhongli's hand, which had always been worshiped by women, now gripped your hair. Making you unable to do anything other than groan in pain and ask him to let go. "I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry—" The apology that you have said many times like a mantra has no effect whatsoever like a mantra.
“Don't you have an obligation to do here? Live with me, serve me, and give birth to my children. Is it just a blur in your stupid brain?” His voice rose, a sign he was angry.
“Im sorry, my love. Im so—“ Before you could finish your words, he dragged you by your hair and took you to a room. The room that zhongli called "your room".
“W- Wait, what are you doing, zhongli?! WAIT— no, no, NO!! DON’T, DON’T DO THIS AGAIN, PLEASE. DON’T GO!”
An expression you couldn't read—either because there was no lighting or it’s because you’re too low to be able to see it—was the last thing you saw of him before he locked you in that room.
You banged on the door, hoping he would have a little mercy to open the door. “PLEASE, OPEN IT!” Even your cries weren't enough to make him have compassion. Is it necessary to crawl or bark like a dog? Or kiss his feet to get him to move?
“I– i don't want to do all this. That stupid wedding you've been planning ever since we met. I hate this. I hate you.”
“What's wrong with you? Guizhong always obeys me. Of course, you should be like that too.” Guizhong, again name of the woman that always slipped out of your mouth. ‘Is it always her who comes to your mind when you see me?’
“I’m not guizhong! Stop all of this and wake up! You have to accept the reality!”
“Did you kidnap me at that time in the hope that I would behave like that guizhong, the person you love?” Silence, no answer from him.
“Please… open this door…” your voice that was too weak to scream was now pleading.
The sound of his retreating footsteps indicated that he had left you locked in your room.
In the end you have to accept the fact that as long as it’s thunderstorm tonight, you will always be locked in your dark room. And with windows without curtains that will always show lightning strikes. And that's what guizhong always do, be obedient.

“I hate him.” You spat as you slammed the door of your and Enid’s apartment closed. Knowing she would be in her room, it was the first place you went.
You stood in the doorway while Enid lay on her bed, staring at the ceiling. She had a knowing smirk on her lips but went against guessing.
“Who do we hate now?” She asked.
“Xavier! Who else?”
Enid kept her giddiness to herself and acted nonchalant. “I mean, there are a few others we could hate instead. But what did he do?”
You shook your head.
Nothing. He had done nothing.
Enid knew from your expression that the date had gone well. “What did you do?”
You sighed and pushed Enid over lightly so you could lay next to her. Covering your face, you groaned.
“He’s just so irritating! He’s cocky, and he’s cheeky, and he’s so damn cute, and I wish he were boring so I didn’t get this annoying feeling in my stomach every time he spoke.” Your hands muffled your words, yet Enid heard every word. She grinned from ear to ear while you continued; however, your voice dropped to a whisper, tethering on the edge of cracking. “I’m scared, Enid.”
The blonde girl’s eyes widened at your confession. She shook her head and tried to remove your hands from your face. Her tone was quiet and warm as she spoke.
“Why are you scared? There’s no reason to be scared. He likes you, Y/n,” She whispered. “And I know you don’t believe he could, but you should’ve heard him backstage beforehand. It was almost sickening,” She made a face, and you laughed softly. “He thinks you’re the prettiest, and I think so too if that counts for anything.”
You nodded, tears threatening to slip out of the corners of your eyes. “Really?”
“Obviously,” Then she gasped. “He didn’t hurt you, did he? If he has upset you, I will kick his ass and throw him out of his own band.”
Laughing, you turned your head towards her. “No, this is all me.”
She gave you a solemn look and twisted her lips.
“Thank you.” You whispered.
Enid shook her head. “It’s the truth. So,” she clapped and smiled, changing the direction of the conversation. “How was the date?”

Meanwhile, Xavier paced in Ajax’s living room. The latter sat bored on the couch while he watched his best friend argue with himself. Xavier had gotten back from your date around the same time you had, but the warmth in his chest was something he hadn’t acknowledged until he got to Ajax’s apartment.
“She’s so…” Xavier paused to find the word.
“Cute, funny, so sarcastic it almost hurts—”
“Frustrating!”
“Not the word I would’ve gone for, but yeah, okay.”
Xavier didn’t pay any mind to his best friend as he made a hole in the floor. “She’s like no one I've ever met, Jax. She’s, like, perfect for me!”
“Okay, perfect?” Ajax furrowed his brows. “You met her tonight.”
“Exactly!” Xavier stopped in his tracks and pointed at Ajax. “We only met tonight, and I already feel like this.”
Ajax went to open his mouth to talk again but was cut off.
“Is she a witch? Do they exist? Has she cast a spell on me?” Xavier’s long arms were thrown in the air in question as he continued to pace, his hair swishing in every direction. His expression was deadly serious, and Ajax had to hold in his laughter for fear he’d offend his friend.
“I just think you like her, Thorpe.”
Xavier couldn’t keep his smile contained as he looked at Ajax. “Yeah. Looks like it doesn’t it.”
“Bro, yes! I thought we would be here all week until you figured it out.” Ajax jumped from the couch and hugged his taller friend, the pair laughing together.
“Shut up.”

It had been a week since your date. A week since Xavier took you for dinner and then drove you home. A week since you’d heard from him. It hurt that he didn’t text you, but you didn’t either, and a phone works both ways.
You refused to tell Enid, afraid she would pity you. You went about your days jumping when your phone got a message and hoping Enid wouldn’t bring him up, which was going fine until she invited you to a band practice at Xavier’s.
“It’ll only be for a few hours, I promise, and then you can go home.” She practically begged. You screwed your lips, unsure. You didn’t want to embarrass yourself in front of Enid by telling her the truth, so you agreed.
“Great!” She squealed. “I’ll see you at 4.”
At 4 pm, after parking your car in the street of Xavier’s house, you walked towards the address Enid had given you. Band practice was held at Xavier’s, as he was the only one with a garage to do so. He lived off-campus in a quaint house he shared with his other college friends.
You didn’t need to double-check the address when you heard the familiar sound of an electric guitar and drums. Your nerves were almost unbearable—it was the first time you’d be seeing Xavier after your date. After he never followed up with you.
“And here she is! The girl of the hour, my favourite person ever—”
“After Ajax.”
“After Ajax! Hey…” Enid’s voice echoed through the street as she spoke through the microphone when she spotted you on the sidewalk. “Y/n!”
The electric guitar riffs stopped. You looked up and waved at Enid before your gaze drifted to the left. Xavier sat with his deep blue guitar, the afternoon sun reflecting off the paint. Heat rose to your cheeks as you shared an awkward smile with him. If the others saw, they didn’t say anything yet.
“Hey, Y/n,” Ajax sang, wiggling his eyebrows at you. You shook your head, wishing they wouldn’t tease you. You didn’t want to make things awkward, considering you hadn’t told anyone you hadn’t spoken to Xavier in a week.
“Hi, Ajax. Where’s Rowan?” You wanted nothing more than to direct the conversation down a different route, but when Ajax looked at you like that, you knew he wasn’t giving up the topic f his best friend and you yet.
“He had a study group,” Ajax brushed off your question. “There’s a seat next to Xav if you need one.”
You gave him an unsure smile in response and saw Xavier drag a fold-out chair towards him and pat it in your peripheral. Sighing, you turned, avoided eye contact, and sat in the seat next to Xavier.
“Thank you.”
“No problem.” He watched you sit down; his green eyes were bright in the setting sun.
You didn’t speak for a moment, letting the awkward air settle between you two, instantly regretting it.
“I’m just here to watch, okay? Don’t let me distract you.” You said, picking at your fingernail.
Xavier laughed breathlessly next to you. “Easy for you to say.”
You leaned back in your seat, deciding to go with a teasing response rather than none at all. You’d hope it would diffuse the tension. “Pretend I’m a ghost. Or, a witch, rather. I’ve cast an invisibility spell….”
Ajax had told you about Xavier’s spiel about you last week when you were still riding the high from going on a date with Xavier. And let’s just say you’d have enough ammo for a while if Xavier would let you.
The uncomfortable air dissipated as Xavier turned around quickly and shot Ajax a glare. “Are you fucking kidding?”
The drummer just laughed and threw his arms up in surrender. “I don’t know what you’re talking about, man.”
“I hate all of you.”
You wore a smug grin as you stared at his side profile.
“Not Y/n, right? You still have so many dates to go on.” Ajax called.
Xavier physically froze, and Ajax started clicking his fingers at Enid to get her attention.
His head slowly turned towards you, a lopsided grin on his lips. He glanced at his best friend before he nodded.
“Yeah, no, I don’t hate you.” His expression softened when he saw your teeth capture your bottom lip. “What are you doing tonight?”
You ignored Enid’s giddy squeal and replied. “Whatever you’re doing.” Your gaze never left his eyes. The anxiety about Xavier you’d harboured had been on the back burner.
Ajax laughed. “She’s so smooth, Thorpe! Up your game, bro!”
Xavier dropped his head and let out an easy chuckle before looking back at you. “Sounds good. We’ll go out after this.”
You nodded, anxiety fizzling in your stomach as you thought about being alone with him again.
⨯ . ⁺ ✦ ⊹ ꙳ ⁺ ‧ ⨯. ⁺ ✦ ⊹ . * ꙳ ✦ ⊹
The deep chords of the guitar vibrated through the garage. Enid went inside to get water with Ajax, who desperately needed one too. You rolled your eyes when the couple left, leaving you with Xavier. Although, he was in his own world while he figured out the riff to a new song.
You had relaxed a while ago with your head lolled to the side as you watched Xavier pluck the guitar strings. You didn’t mind watching him; you found it intriguing and didn’t want to disturb him. You wanted to ask him about not calling but were deterred when you saw his expression.
Xavier’s face was tense with concentration, his hair hung in his eyes, and you took the time to admire him while he attempted different patterns. The way his fingers moved up and down the neck; the way he hummed the melody; the way he sighed in annoyance when he couldn’t get it quite right.
After he played through the song with the riff he was trying out, you intervened. “That sounds really good, Xav.”
Xavier glanced at you, a sheepish smirk on his lips as he shrugged one shoulder. “I guess.” A deep red dusted his cheeks as he smiled wider. “Thanks.”
You noticed him lean closer, and you did too. His eyes flickered to your mouth, and butterflies erupted in your stomach. It was quiet, the only sound being the wind brushing the plants a few feet away from you.
But the door attached to the kitchen slammed open, making you two jump apart.
“Are we ready to rock and roll?” Ajax yelled. Enid bounced on her toes next to him, and Xavier stood, putting the guitar strap over his head. He gave you an apologetic look before smirking, dimples indenting his cheeks.
As you watched him adjust the strap, you noticed the ends of his hair were caught under it on the back of his neck.
“Xav.” After the sound of your voice, Xavier turned. He was confused when you stood up and reached towards his neck. You spun him back around, grabbed his hair, and slowly pulled it out from under the strap. The room was silent as the others watched your interaction. Xavier’s forehead creased when he felt you do so but relaxed when he realised what you’d done.
“Uh, thanks, Y/n.” He mumbled, his cheeks still painted a darker crimson than before.
“No problem.” You wrung your hands together. “You should probably put your hair up.”
“Is that what you want?” He teased, leaning over to pluck the hair tie off your wrist.
You stammered as he took it, heat rushing to your cheeks when he winked at you as he pulled his hair out of his face and into a bun. If Enid was squealing with excitement like usual, you didn’t hear it, too preoccupied seeing how a single hairstyle could change his appearance.
His features were sharper in the afternoon light compared to on stage. His nose longer, cheekbones higher, his jaw defined, and his neck slender.
“Stop drooling, or you’ll have to mop the floor yourself, Y/n!” Xavier chuckled to himself as Ajax yelled.
Your whole body was on fire in embarrassment. “Fuck off, Jax!”
The drummer only laughed and began the first beats of the new song. It was difficult without the bass guitar, but they made it work.
So She Goes.
⨯ . ⁺ ✦ ⊹ ꙳ ⁺ ‧ ⨯. ⁺ ✦ ⊹ . * ꙳ ✦ ⊹
Xavier was relieved practice was over, something he would never admit. He loved playing, and he loved the band, but when you sat there looking pretty, he would do anything to leave and take you out instead. He was a little upset that you hadn’t texted him back, but he would do anything to find out why, which is mainly why he asked you to hang out. He couldn’t stand to be away from you again when you were so close.
So, he led you to his car, a black Toyota Corolla, and opened the passenger door for you. He would drop you back here to get your car afterwards.
The silence inside the car was uncomfortable as you watched the street lights pass by out the window. Unironically, High and Dry by Radiohead played softly through the radio, and Xavier tightened his fists on the steering wheel, glancing over at you through the darkness.
You pursed your lips in an attempt to stop your giggle. But you told him last week that you’d always laughed at the wrong times, so he was expecting it.
“Xavier,” You said, a breath of laughter following. “Where are we going?”
He smirked, poking his cheek with his tongue at the sound, and looked at you when the car stopped at a red light. “A lookout. We need to talk.”
His tone was light, faking seriousness, so you weren’t expecting an awkward chat about where you stood with each other.
Warm light passed through the car in bursts as you turned to watch Xavier drive a few minutes ago. He let his hair down some time ago, rolling the hair tie back onto your wrist with a thank you. You played with the band on your arm as you admired him, and you knew he knew you were doing so.
A few bumps in the road made you look straight ahead. The feeling told you the car was pulling up to a gravel road, and then the crunching sound of tyres on the pebbles filled the car. You slid slightly in your seat, and Xavier looked over at you, smiling.
You’d heard about this lookout from people at college. It was a beautiful spot at night but also the number one hook-up spot for students who lived in dorms and had roommates. You couldn’t help but feel the anticipation as he pulled into a parking spot.
The view that expanded past the windscreen was unexpected. The vivid lights of downtown and the clusters of lights from neighbourhoods blurred the stars in the sky, but it was a sight.
You sat further up in your seat to try and spot your apartment building—something you still couldn’t find every time he brought you here.
As you searched, Xavier fidgeted in his seat. He wasn’t sure how to bring up the situation with you, his confident persona that you knew from a week ago fading with every day he wasn’t on stage.
So, instead of stalling, he outright asked it. “Why didn’t you text me back?”
You turned your head towards him, a confused look on your face. “You never texted me.”
“Yes, I did,” Xavier plucked his phone from the cup holder and passed it to you. You squinted at the screen. “See?”
Your eyebrows furrowed as you grabbed the phone out of his hand and read the phone number at the top of the screen after reading the message: hey y/n, i had a great time the other night. wanna do it again?
“My number is wrong,” Xavier’s head whipped towards you. “That six is meant to be a five.”
“Seriously?” He was breathless as he asked and then blushed, playfully snatching his phone from your hands. “I’ll fix that.”
As you watched him change the number, you sat sideways in your seat. Glancing to your left, you saw a familiar grey t-shirt on the backseat.
“Let’s see.” You mumbled, reaching to grab the shirt. As you unravelled it, you saw Xavier take a glimpse at what you were holding. Your phone number was still scribbled messily on the chest area of the shirt where you wrote it a week ago, and you could see how he could have mistaken the 5 for a 6.
“I wrote that so badly, sorry,” You smiled sheepishly, covering your cheeks with your hands that held the shirt, mostly by accident, but Xavier thought it was cute. The faint scent of his cologne and him overwhelmed your senses, and your ears felt hot.
Xavier locked his phone and set it in the cup holder. Your phone buzzed under your leg, and you ignored it as you made eye contact with him.
You dropped your hands to your lap and rubbed the fabric with your fingers, tilting your head when Xavier sighed. “Aren’t you gonna answer?”
“Depends.” You whispered, throwing a teasing smile in his direction as you tossed the shirt in your hands in the backseat, tapping your phone screen afterwards.
Saturday?
Xavier gave you a crooked smile and dropped his gaze to his lap, his hair falling in front of his eyes. He lifted his eyes to yours before you spoke.
You nodded. “I can do Saturday.”
“Perfect,” His cheeks were pink. “But I have a gig beforehand, so if you want to come to that, I can get you a spot backstage.”
Xavier leaned his elbow on the middle console and brought his face toward yours. Your eyes flickered between his and his lips, noticing him doing the same.
“Sounds good, rockstar.” You say, brushing his jaw with your fingertips.
It was silent for a moment as the two of you admired each other. His breath on your lips and your nose brushing his. You tucked his hair behind his ear, a few strands falling forward in protest.
“Can I?” He mumbled, his hand caressing the back of your head, fingers twisting in your hair.
You nodded, wasting no time, and gripped his chin, kissing him.

On Saturday night, Enid invited Xavier to perform his new song. One the band had spent hours on that week s he could do so. You stood in the front row after declining Xavier’s offer to be backstage. You would tell him later that it was because you liked the atmosphere and not because you could see him better from there.
Xavier was in his element. With his burning glances and swollen lips, long fingers and raspy voice, he only kept his eyes on you. He played his guitar and sang with Enid like an angel, and it was only a few songs before he was running the show.
He dedicated this song to you. The one he had been writing for months and couldn’t finish.
But once he had his muse, he was hooked.
Rose colored glasses glued to my face when she always came around,  attaching memories to these sounds
Dimming the flashes from the Polaroids I took inside my head,  but I'll forget the words she said
And so she goes, leaving those aspirations And so she goes, free from those conversations
And she faced the window driving back on Main Street And I'll keep my cards close whenever someone's near me
