Ok, this little girl ain’t perfect, but she’s good, clean fun. —Yep, I also painted a rock today, which I made into a little magnet. Initially, upon completing her, I was bothered ... I messed up a little on her finer points. (Did I tell you I dot with toothpicks? Weirdo. I know. Lol.). Normally, I don’t mind my mistakes, but today ... I was super critical of myself—so much so, I was ready to toss her right back into the river she came from! But, then I thought about her a bit ... gave her some consideration, and myself, a little compassion. Sure, she’s not perfect, she’s a little on the simple side, she’s small—but she’s also really kind of sweet, with a softened presence that whispers she means well. So, yeah—I decided, I couldn’t just throw her away. Why would anyone take the time to paint something, or someone, special into their lives, to just turn around and throw them away?
