Slim majority of respondents (55.1%) had said that the ableism was apparent prior to reading the carrd. That number jumped 31 percentage points to 86%.

The antisemitism one suprrised me for the massive flip. Most people didn't know that Cid was antisemitic, and then that ratio of yesses to nos and Unsures flipped drastically. Many people expressed their shock that Cid was an antisemitic stereotype.

Majority of people (65%) noticed the other racism in it, but that number increased to roughly 80% post reading the carrd.

Now the next one is interesting, because I was surprised that most people's opinion of the show hadn't changed at all--luckily, the other mod and myself added the free write response after this question. What was clarified was that most people already had a low opinion of the series (as exemplified by the poor ratings earlier in the survey) and and this carrd didn't change the fact that they didn't like it. Some people's were bad and got worse, and they marked it as a "no". Obviously, there were people who claimed to still love the show no matter what.

3/4 of respondents chose to have their opinions on the show reevaluated.

Half the respondents said they would engage with uwwtbb, which was a little disappointing, but some of the people gave some interesting reasons as to why.

And when it comes to a season 2? The majority (1 and 2, 61.8%) said they weren't excited.

Does anyone actually have a job/career they enjoy? I feel like the world is not made for people like me who are more creative and introverted. I hate that all jobs boil down to selling things you don't really care about or numbers. The careers that I am interested in are a shot in the dark in terms of actually being successful or getting a job in those fields. I just feel like I'm either going to be stuck doing something I hate or put myself in debt trying to do something I want to do. Sorry to be depressing lol but do you have any thoughts? Thanks.

No worries! This is a really important question, and it's not depressing at all. There are absolutely people who do enjoy their jobs. A Pew Research study in 2016 found that about half (49%) of American workers say they are very satisfied with their current job, and about six-in-ten (59%) of those with an annual family income of $75,000 or more say they’re very satisfied with their current job. And with a little bit of self-reflection, I think you can find a job that you'll enjoy, too. Here's what I recommend trying. I actually did it myself the other day and found it helpful, so hopefully you will too:

Step 1: identify your life priorities. What's important to you? Is it having a family, having free time to do what you enjoy, helping people, having adventures, seeing the world, learning everything you can? This is a good starting point because in order to enjoy a career, it has to be able to accommodate your priorities. Make a list of all of your "must haves" in a job, including basic salary requirements that would allow you to live the kind of life you want.

Step 2: Building off of step 1, if you had unlimited time and money, what would you do with your life? Where would you live?  What would you spend your time doing?  Who would you be with?  Would you have pets?  Kids?  What would your daily routine look like? I think it can be helpful to put together an image of that perfect life and then try to reverse engineer the best way of getting there.

Step 3: Identify what you're good at. The easiest way I've found to do this is to take a bunch of different career and personality tests and see what's consistent across all of them. In particular, I recommend the VIA Character Strengths Survey; researchers have found that people who regularly use four of their top seven VIA Character Strengths are more likely to think of their job as a "calling" and report job satisfaction. I also recommend the CareerExplorer quiz. This is for a few reasons.  First, it’s a really comprehensive test, and so I think it can help you find the language to describe what you’re going through, what your hard yesses and hard nos are, and what you need in a work setting. Even if the answers the test gives aren’t perfect, I think it provides a framework to think about career options because of the questions it asks.  The other reason I really like this test is because so far it’s been 100% correct for everyone I know, even those with more obscure careers, so it seems to be more exact than other career aptitude tests out there.  And the user interface is really nice as well, which is a bonus. Other quizzes that might be helpful are things like the MBTI, Enneagram, StrengthsFinder, your zodiac, whatever else you might be into. The goal isn't to get the test to tell you what kind of career you should have, but rather to think about what kinds of tasks are exciting and motivating for you, and what your strengths in a work setting might be.

Step 4: Make four different lists. One should be the things you love, one should be the things you’re good at, one should be the things the world needs, and one should be the things you can be paid for.  Look for overlaps in each category, and try your best to think creatively about how you can combine the different categories.

Step 5: Make a fifth list that's all of your "no gos" in a job. What are work environments you can't stand? What kind of things do other people do that drive you crazy? You mentioned that you don't like jobs where you have to sell things you don't care about, so maybe that's a no-go for you.

Once you go through all of these steps, you should have a better idea of what kinds of careers you would enjoy. If this is all too abstract, send me another ask and I can show you what this process looked like for me when I did it the other day.

From here, then the question becomes, "how do you get the type of career you would enjoy"? That's more complicated and can vary from field to field, so if you tell me what types of fields you're interested in, I can help you come up with a path to get there. But generally, requesting to talk to people who already have the job you want can help you figure out what steps you need to take to get to where they are, what your options are to avoid going into debt to gain the skills you need, and how to avoid the common pitfalls people run into when trying to enter that field.

I FORGOT TO SAY WHAT EACH OF THEIR COSTUMES WERE OH MY GOD ITS BEEN LIKE TWO WEEKS HANG ON Ragman (Mimikyu)'s theme this year with the costumes was dressing up as other pokemon, and getting a couple new additions to the team meant a whole lot of new things to work with. He was really stressed out for a lot of october, but his work paid off incredibly well! Pyra (Combusken)'s costume was a Hisuian Decidueye. Ragman spent SO MUCH TIME on the hood for her and it turned out absolutely fantastic. We got her a white pair of basketball shorts to cover her orange legs, and some tassels from a thrifted jacket for her arms. Robert (Beldum) wanted something with wings, so Ragman ended up making him a Zubat costume, complete with a big ole mouth and fangs! Robert doesn't have much mobility so he couldn't really make the wings flap, but it was still a lovely addition to the pokeparty. Pillow (Goomy) is a very difficult pokemon to make costumes for since he's always covered in slime, but Ragman managed to make it work by turning him into a Swadloon! Pillow is quite the himbo so he didn't really have the attitude of a Swadloon down, but honestly that just made the costume even cuter. Siri (Rotom) possessed an orange GameCube with a copy of Luigi's Mansion in it for the length of the party, which Ragman helpfully drew a jack o lantern face on, unhelpfully in permanent marker. (I'd just buy the washable ones but he doesn't like the way they color and for big projects like this he really wants the good stuff.) Ferrintio (Sprigatito) seemed like she was really struggling to decide what she wanted to go as, so Ragman kinda just started working and eventually made her a Tepig! Watching Ferrintio meow yesses and nos at Ragman was a stupidly cute thing to watch. And last but not least, Benny! (Charcadet!) Benny has been getting along with Ragman really well ever since I brought him home, so he ended up acting like an assistant for the costumes this year. Unfortunately he decided to dress up as a Mime Jr, and Ragman did put his heart into making it accurate. He has the nose. He had the little hat. He learned to do a little dance. It was adorable and I hated it so much but I didn't have the heart to say anything bad. Happy Belated Halloween!

Halloween is coming up which means that the number of paper and fabric scraps in my house have been increasing exponentially as ragman (mimikyu) works both on disguises for himself and for my other Pokémon. Yes it is adorable, but no he does not clean up his own mess.

Vynathr: Yes, as long as he stays calm. Some things make him nervous (he clams up whenever he tries to tell you he loves you in public) and some things he doesn't mind at all (cuddles, snuggles, making out, hell, he's pretty willing to get nasty in front of people as long as his pants/skirt stays on.) His limits are hard to predict and there's no maybes only hard yesses and hard nos in regards to that, so anything no matter how nonsexual is best done with very clear communication preferably either done in whispers or in private beforehand.

Its been a very hectic month but then again May is always like that in my house and has been for a number of years. After taking a little bit of time to myself,its time to come back and hit the ground running. Ruby was one of the actors who answered my open call to be interviewed in a FB group. Now up to this time,I have never interviewed a artist who is a minor,as a rule,I stay away from that simply because its a sketchy and gray area. But when I saw Ruby’s mom was like a hawk in overlooking who her daughter communicated with and the professionalism that the two of them showed me,I was very impressed.  Ruby is poised,well spoken,graceful and very well grounded. Of course it doesn’t hurt that she and her family are based in Australia which is about as far away from Hollywood as a developing actor can get. Ruby is off to a rather smashing start to her career as she already over 5 projects in various stages of production,she isn’t one for letting her craft come to her,she is definitely putting in work!   My name is Ruby Lott and I am an Australian teen actress, living on the beautiful Gold Coast in Queensland. I am originally from Melbourne, Victoria, but my family moved to Queensland when I was 4 years old.  I have an older sister, an older brother, and a younger sister who is also an actress. My first introduction to the world of acting was when I was 7 years old and I started youth theatre classes every weekend at our local community theatre. After 5 years of classes and performances there, I branched out into student and short films, and then eventually, the exciting world of feature films!

I am fortunate enough to be currently filming a fantastic feature film, right here in Queensland. This is a super exciting film about crime and corruption. One of the things I really love about this film, is the portrayal of strong, intelligent, female characters.

What led you in deciding to be an actress? How did your parents react to this?

I guess as a child, it was just a natural extension of playing dress-up and ‘trying different characters on for size!’ I loved being able to become different people, even for just a short time. As I got older, I realised that acting was a fantastic way to not only entertain people (everyone needs a bit of escapism from time to time!), but in some cases also raise awareness on important topics. I feel extremely fortunate and privileged to be able to be a part of that.

My parents have always been encouraging and supportive of my wish to pursue acting.  Once we moved to the Gold Coast, they found a local youth theatre and signed me up! That’s really where it all began.

 How important is family you? Do you have any pets?

  Family is one of the most important things to me and I don’t know what I would without their constant love and support. I have two dogs and a cat called Maple. I adopted Maple f rom an animal shelter 3 years ago and I love her so much! We have a wonderful animal rescue centre here on the Gold Coast and I will begin training there as a volunteer next month. I’m really looking forward to helping out there as much as I can.

  Which do you prefer, live theatre or doing films/TV and why?

I fell in love with the world of theatre when I started my very first drama classes. I loved that sense of being in the moment and feeling the audience’s emotions right then and there. If I had to choose just one now however, I would pick film and television because those stories, and the memories associated with filming, can be watched and experienced time and time again. I also really, really love to travel. Working on films gives me the opportunity to travel to and explore so many new places.

As well as working on films, I hope to be able to combine my love of travel with some great causes that I would really like to support. For example there is a wonderful charity organisation in Vietnam called Vietnam Cat Welfare. They work to rescue, rehabilitate  and re-home many cats, including those rescued from the cat and dog meat trade. They have a cool cat café too, Jack’s Cat Café. I hope to be able to visit and maybe even make a short documentary on their work one day.

How do you keep grounded and focused?

It can definitely be hard in this industry. There is a lot of auditioning, and unfortunately a lot more ‘nos’ than ‘yesses.’ It can be all too easy to start to feel that you’re not good enough.  Thankfully, I have amazing friends and family that I can seek support from. I also train regularly in mixed martial arts and enjoy getting out into nature when I can. I find these sorts of activities help take my mind off things and help me to focus on the present.

What three pieces of advice have helped you the most professionally?

  Simply learning a script isn’t the key to booking the job, however it is important to know it so well that it becomes like muscle memory. This means you can then focus on portraying that character correctly. A great tip that has helped me with learning my scripts is to film yourself reading out the other character/s lines and replay it for yourself. That way, you can practise rehearsing your lines even when you are alone.

Create a backstory. You have no idea how many scripts I get that don’t give me any information about the actual character I’m playing, so I make up a past for them. For example, if the character seems sad all the time, what caused it? Did a loved one pass away?  Did they barely escape death themselves? I try to immerse myself in their world and leave myself behind, in order to become the character. I think how they would walk, how they would talk etc.

Another piece of great advice I have been given, is to say each line meaningfully, depending on who the other character is that I am talking to. For example, just taking into account how my character actually feels about the other character, has a huge impact on how I would deliver my lines.

What three actors would you like to act with the most and why?

There are so many amazingly talented actors, but I think for me, I would love to work with:

Emma Watson- I have loved Emma since I was very young and watched the Harry Potter series. She is probably one of the main reasons I wanted to begin acting! I know that I would be able to learn a huge amount from working with her, not to mention she is absolutely inspiring in the way she brings awareness to important world issues. I hope one day that I too will be able to use the platform of this industry to speak about important issues and hopefully make a difference.

Aidan Gallagher- I find Aidan really interesting to watch on screen, and I love the way he is able to portray a young character with a really mature mindset in ‘The Umbrella Academy.’ Although Aidan, like me, is still a teen, he doesn’t turn a blind eye to important issues. He is a vegan, and also very active on environmental issues. I’m pretty sure we would get on well!

Jennifer Lawrence- Jennifer can capture the audience in every movie, regardless of the character she plays. The way she absolutely makes each role her own, is really inspiring.  I would most definitely love to learn from her. What an amazing experience that would be!

What type of things do you like to do when you are not acting?

I love to spend most of my free time with my best friends or relaxing with a nice book. After school or acting, I like to wind down peacefully! I also love singing, but I’m not very good!

I see your sister is a working actress as well, do you ever audition for the same roles  or do you take turns?

Generally we audition for different roles, as she is a few years younger, so that has never been a problem for us. I think there has actually been only two instances where we have gone for the same role, and neither of us got it!

What has been your favourite role to play so far and why?

To be honest, I’ve really enjoyed all my roles, but one really fun one was playing the Pied Piper in a live theatre show. I think I enjoyed it so much because it was completely different to a lot of the other roles I’d had. For starters, everything I said was in rhyme! The light-hearted nature of this show was a nice change from all the more serious dramatic roles I’d had.

 So your mom and dad have invited Paladin the cheetah and myself to watch you perform live but we are a day early and now the Lott family has to be tour guides, what are we doing?

The Gold Coast is a city of over 580,000  people in South-East Qld. It is a very popular tourist destination for both Australians and international visitors. It is most famous for the spectacular beaches, and great weather. We would definitely be taking a tour of some of our favourite beaches! If we were feeling energetic, we could go swimming or surfing, and if not, we would probably just take my two dogs Allie and Roxy and go for a nice long walk. On weekends there are some great beachside art and craft markets to explore too.    If we were all still feeling like enjoying the great outdoors, we could also explore our national parks. There are some great bushwalks, complete with waterfalls and even glow worm caves. (Sorry Paladin, you wouldn’t be allowed there though!) After our energetic day out, I think we would have to take you into Surfers Paradise and visit the Q1 Building. It is 230m  high and has 360 degree views of the Gold Coast from the SkyPoint Observation Deck. It’s pretty cool! And before heading home, we would need to make one more very important stop in Surfers Paradise…The Crazy Cat Café of course! We can have a nice snack and Paladin can make some new friends!

Oh if only that true,I’m just afraid that Paladin would force the owner to create the Crazy Cheetah Cafe…… I like to thank Ruby and Mrs. Lott for taking the time to sit with us and talk about Ruby’s career and goals. Wednesday with THE FIFTH WAVE

The Fifth Wave

Sometimes I think I might be the last human on Earth… you know. To read The Fifth Wave.

If you didn’t get that joke (and yes smart asses in the back that does technically, probably, count as a joke) then you probably didn’t read the book, so beware the spoilery section to follow.

Anyway, that’s me. The girl who claims to be an avid reader of YA fantasy/ dystopian/ sci-fi that missed out on this really big book that everyone loved. Monica Uzpen. Not Monica like Lewinsky, or like from friends, Monica like the Monica from a really old TV show called Touched by an Angel. (You guys got that one right? I’m funny, right???).

Okay, this is all beside the point. The point being the review. SO let’s review.

Since I am so late to the party with the fifth wave I did a little research about it. Like, was it really worthy of all the YAYS and WOWS it got, or after the many waves (hehehehe) of praise it received, did it fail to meet others expectations. The answer was a mixture of yesses and nos, but what I found really interesting was that people who didn’t like the book, didn’t just not like the book, they hated it.

I’m here to tell you that I actually liked it. A lot. But it very clearly had its issues, and most of those revolved around the romance.

If you’ve read any of my reviews where I’ve ranted about relationships, then you know I HATE an unhealthy relationship with a quick insta-love feel. While I think insta-love might not be the exact wording for what went on between the love interest and MC, I can say it did feel pretty damn close, and that what resulted from that… relationship… felt TOTALLY unhealthy, at least for a good chunk of it. Please, especially if you are a young reader reading this book, understand that the relationship depicted within these pages is not one you’d want to put yourself in. I’ll explain why in the spoiler section, but know that there are some really unacceptable things that happen that are passed off as acceptable, and for that reason I docked this rating two stars.

BUT-BUT-BUT MONICA, if you really didn’t like the romance, how could you like the book????

Well you see, people who might be figuratively or literally asking this question either in reality or in my head because I’m that person who talks to herself and the voices in her head, the book itself was written beautifully. Hilariously. And there are SO MANY QUOTES that I just want to fling at you guys.

Sometimes in my tent, late at night, I think I hear the stars scraping against the sky.

Before I found you, I thought the only way to hold on was to find something to live for. It isn’t. To hold on you have to find something you’re willing to die for.

We are the clay, and you are Michelangelo. And we will be your masterpieces.

These are just SOME of the beautiful things I read, and to get a really real feeling of appreciation for them, you just gotta read the book. Because things loop. They loop and they complete themselves and they tie together and it’s just so damn satisfying every time it happens.

And you’re in for lots of contemplation and laughs if you do choose to pick it up.

Lol, I say this like you haven’t already.

Like I’m not the last human to read this book.

Close your eyes. Are they closed? Really? Because that was dumb. How are you supposed to read this with your eyes closed. Figuratively, close your eyes. Picture a room. You are waking up in said room. You have been shot, undressed, and dressed and bathed by a complete stranger. After only a little bit of warming up to this person of the opposite sex, they kiss you. You tell them not to. They do it again. You threaten them if they do it again. Guess what? They do it again—

I’m sorry, how is this not sexual assault? We all know that no means no right? Like, I get that Rick Yancey was trying to do the whole, Cassie is a hard ass thing, but like… GUYS. That was assault. If he wanted us to like the dude he should have stopped and been like, YIKES SORRY IM A DICK, and then she could have explained what she meant. But as it was… IT WAS PRETTY MUCH RAPE.

So why did I give this four stars. Because, yeah, it was clear that the character afterwards hadn’t meant what she said and that the author didn’t understand the HORRIBLE implication this could have on teenagers. Like, I’m sorry this is YA. Young people are going to read this with their little malleable minds and think this is okay. It’s not okay. Ever. End of story.

I seriously wish that scene wasn’t in the book. Without it I would have a clear conscious in liking it, with it I am torn between recommending it and hiding it away in a garbage bin. I cannot stress this enough, what happened in that scene was not romantic. It was not acceptable. It basically ruined the romance for me in the novel. Another thing was the amount of times Cassie abuse Evan. I mean this might be a kill or be killed world, but if you want to make me believe that these two characters are falling in love, please don’t have one of them punch the other several times in the chest. Okay? I don’t care that she’s a girl, being pounded repeatedly out of anger is going to hurt anyone. If you flip the roles and had Evan do the same to Cassie, would that be okay? No. People would gape in horror. Well it’s the same. She’s strong. She’s hurting him. Why can people so easily dismiss this as a case of ‘hysterics’? Sure she was contemplating killing him, but beating him up with her fists wasn’t going to get that done. She only did that when she was pretty sure she wouldn’t kill him. Just, these issues made it so hard to get behind them. So. Hard. Which sucks, because the author did some really great things to connect his characters together.

And those things were his ideas that linked into each other. The human clay quote that we see in Parish’s POV and then is echoed in Cassie’s, the cockroach metaphor that linked all three characters together, the idea of running or putting something off that linked Parish and Cassie. We saw similar themes in all of the character’s experiences and scenes, and each time I saw some form of repetition I couldn’t help but feel that tug the author was going for, the one that ended with all four of our principle characters ending in the same room just when they all needed to be there together.

My personal favorite motif that linked his characters together was the chess motif. Over and over again we have Ringer saying that Parish should play chess, or that this and that is like chess, or check, or check and mate. She’s obsessed with strategy, and she’s wicked smart. Strangely enough, when she say’s to Parish, this is not chess, I didn’t feel like it was as much a growth on her part as a growth on his. Because before he had always said he didn’t care about chess, that he didn’t play. But right as she said that it was so easy to see how those words meant something different to him than they would have earlier, because he had given into the game a little bit. He had played the board, had moved like a pawn when expected too, tried to make the safe and sure moves, and when she recommends that they don’t for the first time, we can see the transformation that had slowly taken over Parish, and we could see Parish snapping back to himself.

Oh yeah, this book has a LOT of repetition. Motifs, like the cold stars and the cockroaches and the last human and humanity as a concept, and chess popped up a dizzying amount of times. Sentences were repeated back to back—same words and ideas, just inverted for special affect. And sentence patterns were established—whole paragraphs began with the same word or ended with the same phrase. And yeah, this can be annoying AF to some readers, but I loved this. Why? It was interesting.

It read like a real person’s thoughts to me. It read like what I would be thinking if I came face to face with something trying to kill me. With the idea of inevitable death. The repetition read as nervous energy, nervous thought. It wasn’t unintelligent thought, just nervous. Anxious, and sure a little sarcastic, but also real.

I mean I’m sorry, but if I was all alone in a world that was being programmed to murder me in twelve thousand different painful ways I think I would also be hung up on myself being a cockroach or about the little stuffed bear that keeps me company. I’d certainly have a lot of time to think about each of these thoughts.

But let’s back up and talk about some of the stuff these characters faced.

So what I really liked about this book was the way that the scary stuff felt both present and separate from us reader folk. MONICA, WHAT THE HELL DO YOU MEAN BY THAT? Take the plague, my impatient theoretical questioners. The plague was a looming threat, but it didn’t threaten our main characters. Anymore. As far as we knew. And yet Rick Yancey continued to bring it into play. Held it over our heads throughout the book. THOSE DUMB BIRDS kept appearing, and every time we saw one there was an unwritten (okay, occasionally written) threat that it was carrying a horrible killing disease. Sure, sure, Cassie and Sammy and everyone already survived the plague. They have nothing to worry about. Right? Haha… right? WRONG. I couldn’t quite trust the idea that the third wave was over just yet. And that’s because more victims kept popping up. Time wise, they were contained, but rate of revelation wise, not so much. We learn Cassie’s mom dies of the plague. Okay, cool, but they survived. We’re safe. NOT—because now there’s this other character, Parish, dying of the plague right in front of us readers… oh wait no he survives too, okay so we’re really actually safe this time—BUT WAIT NO this kid named Evan lost like all of his siblings to this damn plague WTF this is too real and its being carried by birds and omg there are fricken buzzards EVERYWHERE WE ARE ALL DOOMED.

But you could also forget about that looming threat because it isn’t really a threat anymore, right, right? Even though the plague functioned as a weapon pre present day book, there was still a kill count that we as readers had to uncover, and the more we learned about it, the more real it became. And even though I knew they were safe from it not too far in, the author made it easy for us to remember this horrific disease wasn’t too far into the past. That the repercussions of it still exist. That there are more horrific things to come. Hence it being present and separate. I think that was skillfully done on Yancey’s part. It made the threat that the characters felt, easily transferable to the reader.

And omg. What was also transferable to the reader? The paranoia. So much. Paranoia.

Specifically involving Evan. I felt like a fricken lunatic right alongside Cassie. Right off the bat I was like, Oh, Evan is clearly the silencer. Okay. But then we get the pictures, we get the house and the bread and the burgers and the chocolate and I’m starting to think, no. No way. This guy who’s trying to talk alien conspiracies with Cassie can’t be an alien. This is all in Cassie’s head. And mine. And what???

And of course, he’s the silencer. I knew 100% he was when she held that gun up to him, and probably 88% when we smelled the gunpowder on his hands, but still the fact that the author could make me go from being absolutely certain of the truth to doubting myself when it was SO OBVIOUS, astounds me. And makes me love the book more. Not enough to forgive the romance and make it four or five stars, but enough to be impressed.

I didn’t really feel the same back and forth about whether or not Wright Patterson was run by aliens. I figured it was because things were too convenient for them. They had electricity. They didn’t care about the noise they made. They killed lots of people… blah blah blah. I did wonder about how many people were aliens. I briefly thought that the drill sergeant was human, because no. He was not just a caricature of torturous evil. If he is then he has to be human. And the whole part where he’s pounding Parish’s chest, telling him that they have to kill the aliens felt so genuine. That they have to find the fight. I was like. Yeah. Yeah! You have to find the fight! Fight!!!!!!!!!

I did start to sway a little on who was an alien and who wasn’t. I thought, maybe they don’t know they’re being played. Maybe most of them think they’re all human. And for a time I wholeheartedly believed that the only evil guy in the camp was Vosch.

And let’s be real, we all knew he was evil, right? There was never any doubt. A character doesn’t get to kill a bunch of people, and in the same page as explaining away his mass murder of a bunch of people because… yaknow… fear, be described as convincing enough to get one of our main characters to commit suicide if he asked and NOT be an alien trying to wipe out humanity. I’m sorry, if a character ever says something like, I’d shoot myself in the head without question if so-and-so asked, you know that so-and-so is one of the baddiest of baddies.

It’s just common sense.

And this seems to be the common sense place to end this review.
