A little tired of people saying Moon can’t stand up for herself. Like yeah I think one of the flaws she has is she is too lenient and forgiving, but also in her situation it’s VERY HARD not to be. And it’s very situational, usually manifesting with Five Pebbles.

She stops talking to you if you annoy her enough, and only starts again if you win her back over. You have to put in the work. She isn’t “rolling over” and letting things happen to her, despite the fact that she is in absolutely no position to bargain. As stated by her, her kindness and her words are the ONLY thing she has. So her taking those away from you, the player, is absolutely her standing up for herself.

Everyone brings up how she handles Five Pebbles (esp the comms thing) and it is incredible to me just how many people lay this entirely at her feet when the game states over and over again that even despite Moon’s intentional feather-light influence over him, he still resents her for being his superior. He seeks out a mentor who is her opposite.

He wants to be something more than what he is, wants to be detached from her, and she can’t do anything about that but do the best she can to exert as little influence over him as possible.

She is stuck between a rock and a hard place here, and was betting on her kindness to have fostered enough mutual respect that she wouldn’t have to resort to forced communications. She was wrong. He was driven by fierce desperation, something that she wasn’t privy to. And she paid for it.

Yes, this is a flaw of hers. But it’s not a universal one. (the rest of the iterators look to her for help- she’s the group senior for gods sake- and people act like she can’t take a stand) I genuinely doubt Moon would’ve waited so long to used forced comms if it were happening to anyone else. If it were being committed by anyone else. And that just makes the tragedy even sweeter.

jace is not ‘pushing for war’ in the same way aegon and aemond are, and to insinuate so is ridiculous 😭

aemond specifically started a war because of his butthurt ego and inability to control his dragon, aegon celebrates this fact with a party. jace just doesn’t want his brothers death to be in vain and knows that his and his families lives are forfeit if they don’t fight back. he’s one of the only male characters in fire and blood that has to deal with the repercussions of misogynistic attacks; his mother is usurped (on account of her gender), loyalists at court (that he surely knew) were put to death for supporting his mother, she loses his baby sister in a traumatic stillbirth because of the usurpation, his brother is murdered in cold blood (he most likely blames himself for the plan that sent him to storm’s end), he’s going to die thinking he failed to save yet another brother. why would he not push for war? and why are violent misogynist one and two (who STARTED the war in the first place) allowed to react, to want revenge, to want to hurt others in response to their losses, but jace isn’t?

we can complain about the way the show frames women as the pacifist pushovers to the men being violent warmongers all day long but jace of all the male characters on screen is *not* included in that, come ON people 😒

I don’t think Soos knows yet, how will he react? Will he just go to work one day and have everyone acting weirdly like grieving, and a random man in a magician costume claiming he’s been there for a month? Honestly he’d probably be totally normal about it.(as far as I know, I haven’t watched the show in a while)

Also I really like how you literally gave him a voice in his head who refers to them as “us” rather than “me”, implying that they’re separate from his normal thoughts. Is it the demon-ness that he’s tried to repress until it manifested as a voice in his head? Either way it’s awesome.

Ah yes, the good old deer scene:) this is from chapter 7 but I love it so much I just wanted to bring attention to it. Also I can’t remember what it was but I think it was implied that he did this multiple times? Anyway badass creepy possessed child goes hard.

I hope your husband is doing well, (and congrats on your marriage!!) also congratulations on your new job! Don’t let yourself feel pressured to work on this, take care of yourself and your loved ones! (Besides, quality is always better when the creator enjoys what they’re doing)

i know the dr2 survivors having zero chemistry couldve easily been fixed by like. If The Writers Had Taken The Time To Write The Chemistry instead of just last minute throwing in one or two lines literally at the very end. the combo of characters does have lots of potential for chemistry but also i think one thing that wouldve really helped is LETTING HIYOKO SURVIVE 😭😭😭😭😭😭 if dr2 had just had 6 survivors like dr1 their survivor dynamic during chapters 5 and 6 couldve been so much better 😭😭

hiyoko just slots with them perfectly. theyre missing the energy that she’s able to bring if that makes sense like dr1 has hina as its more upbeat survivor and v3 has himiko but dr2’s most upbeat survivor is. like. Akane. am i making sense here. and also hiyoko bonding with any of the dr2 survivors theyre the last people youd expect her to bond with and it can be representative of her character arc and i also wish theyd been able to play more with fuyuhiko’s arc spurring on hiyoko’s because they had that kinda going on too. idk i know we’ve had this conversation as a fandom already but i just get angrier every day that she didnt live. of course adding hiyoko in isnt a Fix All Solution to the issue of the survivors not having been given chemistry but it couldve elevated the dynamic a lot i think :( i wanted to see her fight with and bond with everyone

which of the multiple Sonics we've had over the years is your favourite? I mean like in terms of games and movies and series, which do you think is the best portrayal of him?

OOF that's a hard one, honestly it's difficult to decide. I really grown to appreciate and love each and every interpterion of Sonic, his character is just so flexible and malleable in a way that is just so special to me.

Like Sonic is such an upbeat guy, he can be loud, energetic, kind, extroverted, a dumbass but in a lovable way.

But he can also he quiet, shy, introverted, grumpy, sarcastic and a deep thinker. He's a book worm, he's a jock, he's SONIC!

How could I choose? But, for the sake of your question, and because this funky lil blue dude practically raised me growing up. I'd have to say Jason Griffith's Sonic, I grew up with him for a bit until Roger, AND I LOVE ROGER DONT GET ME WRONG!! But Jason's Sonic holds a special place in my heart.

Sonic Unleashed, Sonic X, The Story Book games like SATBK, and more! I LOVED his portrayal of Sonic. The confidence, cockiness, but gentle nature, really left an impression on me on how Sonic ACTS, how he IS, he is really just a guy who loves adventure and has an ultimate understanding of his own power and how he uses it to defend his planet and family/friends.

My first Sonic game was Generations, that's where I began to continue to grow up with Roger. His portrayal of Sonic is also one of my favs, he brings the sarcastic teen out of him. And I find it so funny and endearing every time. Even as time goes on, and new voice actors or portrayals of our favorite blue boi continue to change and grow, I'll never stop loving this silly dude. Thats a promise xD

I ALSO LOVE MOVIE SONIC TO DEATH AND SONIC PRIME AND I WILL STAND ON THIS HILL AND SHOUT IT FOR THE REST OF TIME LMAOO
