Hello! I love your art of Caleb leaning his head on Essek’s shoulder. It’s a longtime favorite CR artwork of mine.

I just noticed another CR artist may have copied the pose because everything from the head tilt is pretty similar. But I don’t know if maybe this pose was originally based on a famous painting. Or maybe they got your permission before and I’m wrong about this situation.

hey there ! thanks for checking :) the pose i used for that piece was direrctly referenced from a photograph sourced from pinterest. i've been unable to track down the exact source, but the photographer is likely lauren withrow.

it's a fairly popular one so i'm not surprised if it pops up again from time to time. so thankfully nothing to be concerned about !

It’s my humble opinion that we need more Perc’ildan fics with Percy being his awkward, inexperienced self in romantic situations.

This is very important. Curate your own experience, and don't harass people for just enjoying what brings them joy and comfort. I've seen people scared to interact with non-canon ships that they really enjoy because they're worried about that harassment, and that makes me so incredibly sad. Personally, fandom is a huge part of my life and has brought me comfort in very dark times, and I think everyone should get to enjoy that, regardless of what they do and don't ship. Let people enjoy what they want to enjoy.

If it's something someone else enjoys and it's not hurting anyone, even if you don't like it, just move on.

It seems to me, or have zoomers really forgotten how to ship? As a millennial, I saw a time on the Internet when no one cared about canon ships: if you think a character is gay, then he is gay, and no one cared that he had a wife and children. Now I see how all the fandom discusses are canon pairings, and those who are just trying to enjoy their favorite show and THEIR headcanons and ships are silenced.

This is the reason why I don't interact with the TLOVM fanbase. I'm a Perc'ildan shipper, and I'm also a queer person who was born in a homophobic country, and all I want from fandoms is safe space. And I see the heteronormativity of this fandom in that people who ship non-canon become outsiders. If someone wants to talk about their headcanons against canon, the core fanbase will appeal to canon. Guys... we know we're delulu, enjoy what the creators are already giving you, and let people love the characters in a way that makes them comfortable.

I headcanon Percy as someone who has no experience neither in kissing neither in relationships, and Vax as an experienced one who definitely knows how to kiss so their first kiss is very awkward (and at the same time very sweet and gentle)

So here you have it: a 17 pages of Perc'ildan fix-it comic. I had been working on it for a whole month and I'm really proud of it. It's loosely based on s3 ep3 of a TLoVM but no real spoilers here. Also it's divided into four parts for reasons and you can read it by clicking the links above.

It was a hard thing to do and the hardest challenge was to actually post it on tumblr :D

I think we need more content with Percy being sleepy. Like, I know coffee does wonders and boy does he drink a lot of it, but at some point he’s got to sleep, and for the amount of sleep he’s not getting, he has to have his moments and I want to see them.
