who: Liliana Alonso @lilianaxalonso where: Farmer's Market
Haven wasn't one that got to attend things like farmer's markets often as she was typically fairly busy throughout the week. When she wasn't out doing showings she was typically transporting Lake back and forth to his extra curriculars. However, today she'd taken an extended lunch break and had made her way to the local farmer's market, taking a look at everything she could see within a glance. As she made her way around, she admired all of the fresh vegetables, fruit and herbs that people had worked so hard on. As she stopped outside of a booth that had once contained oranges, she sighed when she realized there were no more and she looked around, offering the passerby's a soft smile. As she was approached by Liliana, Haven offered her a small smile. "I'm not sure if I missed another display but this section seems to be fresh out of oranges." She admitted. "Maybe between the two of us we can find at least one or two."

He rested his forehead against her as he moved into her and held her close. Once he was all in, he moved back a little before going back in, and then started making a good pace for them. A hand moved from her waist up to her cheek and he held her cheek as he looked into her eyes before he moved in and kissed her lips; a moan slipping into her mouth as he did. @lilianaxsantos
The weight of the world fell from her shoulders at how he fine tuned her like an instrument. Knowing just what she liked and what got a response from her. She had no idea if anyone outside of the empty house could hear her, but that didn't stop her from making noises. Moaning his name loudly between pleasurable breaths. It was interrupted with a disappointed groan when he moved himself away from her, but upon opening her eyes and realising what he was doing she felt the excitement bubble in the pit of her stomach. She edged even closer to the edge, for as much as it was possible, her ankles locking behind his leg as her hands captured his biceps, grabbing onto them as he entered her. This time, a soundless breath escaped her lips, taking the small moment of intimacy to rest her forehead against his the more he pushed himself inside of her. @travisjackson

Laine had come solely to monitor the situation and force the peace if needed. They needed to show humankind the OEA could protect them from these monsters, which included keeping them in line. The more she walked the carnival, the more she decided maybe she was getting the spirit of it a little bit.
Eating anything she wanted was first on the list, so into the line for cotton candy she went. She hadn't had any of that since she was a child and her brother let her have some after sneaking into a carnival without her dad's knowing, but why not?
Why not?: that would be the theme of tonight for her. New Orleans could do without their head of the division for one teeny, tiny night. So when the pretty girl in front of her spoke, well, why not? "Me too!" She exclaimed, "which is funny because she's dead. But, you know what, maybe she's not! I never eat junk food anymore either, so I'm not sure I remember what this even tastes like." She paused as though realizing something before asking, "oh, were you talking to me?"
If you asked Liliana the last time she'd been to something like a carnival her answer would likely be that she couldn't remember. In truth, that was a lie. She remembered the last carnival she'd been to like it had happened yesterday. It'd been where her ex-fiancee, Daniela, had proposed. It had been the start of the end of that relationship, even though she hadn't known it at the time.
So, walking into this carnival was bittersweet. The bright colors and laughter of those enjoying the event put a smile on Liliana's face. She would do her best to enjoy this event. Maybe she could make some new memories here. It was worth a try at least.
As she waited in line for some cotton candy, she couldn't help but share her excitement for the sugary concoction with the people around her. "I feel like a kid again," she said with a laugh. She didn't expect anyone to respond, but having someone to experience the carnival with would be a nice change of pace.

Travis was going to say something as Anthony brought him the wash cloth and told him where he was staying before he left. He just couldn't find what to say and his attention fully went to Liliana. He moved her to the couch before placing the cloth on her head. He decided to go make them some coffee. He was going back to check in on her when he saw she was awake and Travis rushed to her side. "He left." He said and touched her arm. "Are you okay? I caught you before you hit anything, but are you okay?" @lilianaxsantos
The suggestion had led to him having to get it. Tony side stepped past the man and his passed out wife, careful not to knock into either of them as he did so. The kitchen. By the sink. Drawer. The instructions repeated in broken up phases as he moved through the strange house. He didn't recognize anything, fumbling his way with shaking hands as he made it into the kitchen. He found the sink, found the drawer before opening it up. Once the rag was in his hand, he dampened it, wringing out the water so not to drip it all over the floors as he returned. Anthony knelt down by the woman and the man she was with before gently placing it on her forehead, "Here," he offered, removing his hand after a moment and standing back up. "I'm sorry, uh, I'm staying at the hotel downtown if she wants to talk." Anthony said as he moved back around the other man and headed back down the driveway to where his vehicle was parked in the street. @travisjackson @lilianaxsantos

She laughed a little bit and shook her head. "Don't worry. I can handle it. But thank you." Stevie definitely appreciated the offer. She didn't want that, though. She found that now it was just his loss if he didn't want her in his life. Listening to the woman, she smiled and nodded. "That definitely does. Trust me. I'm marrying my best friend." She grinned before spotting her fiance looking for her. "Speaking of, I should get back. Thank you for saving me. I'll see you soon." She said and waved before heading towards Johnny.

"If you need me to kick his royal ass... Well I would have someone else do it for me, for you. I do still work here." Liliana smiled, one which increased when Travis came to be the topic. "We do share experiences, which makes it easier to know what we're thinking, I suppose.. And we have been friends for the last few years. That makes it better, right?" The last thing she wanted was to replace Darcy, and she had told Travis as much. @steviexwagner

With a nod, Haven agreed. "Yeah, I'm kind of hoping we're either mistaken or really early, but honestly who knows. Like you said, people are quite stupid these days." Sure, she could agree it was rude but when it came down to it, it wasn't wrong. Working in customer service and closely with the public made Haven understand what the other meant; because while you could spend all day trying to appease them but if they didn't also put in the effort it just wasn't worth it. Working with the public wasn't for the faint of heart, and Haven was honestly thankful in this moment that someone else seemed to be understanding of it. At the other's comment about getting into Heywood, though, she let herself smirk. "Maybe money? From what I've always heard most colleges will do whatever and accept whoever as long as they're getting paid." she laughed. "I'd be pretty quick to say that's the case." Though she paused the conversation as the other mentioned duck and orange and Haven rose an eyebrow in question. "Wait, what is that?" she asked. "Duck and orange. I've never heard of it." she shook her head and looked back at the other as they continued look around the stands. "I don't disagree though. The amount we have is a bit extreme. And makes me a little sad that some of the ones farther out don't do so well; especially considering I think they were the ones that originated." @lilianaxsantos
"Could be we're mistaken. We're no fruit vendors, what do we know." Liliana shrugged, already considering simply getting some at the supermarket. "Or maybe we're a month too early, who knows." She continued, letting out a chuckle at her assumption. "I don't know, people are quite stupid these times. It's rude but it's true. Sometimes I wonder how someone got into Heywood University in the first place." Since at least half of her students were most definitely flunking her subject. This year was a poor academic year. "I mean there's duck and orange? That's a thing, right?" Or was that associated with Asian food? Food wasn't something she excelled on. She kept herself fed and healthy, that was enough. "I think we could do with three stands less. Sometimes, overkill is just overkill." @havenbsinclair

"I thought it was, but honestly I'm not so sure anymore." she shook her head, still both shocked and slightly upset that there were no oranges anywhere close by. "I mean, that's a valid thought but also I don't see how." she shook her head. "At a glance sure but someone would've had to have picked up on it at some point when they touched it and realized it wasn't a pumpkin." she added, though, that was about the only thing that made sense. "Unless there's some sort of fall dish that require a bunch of oranges that I've been missing out on." she sighed, looping around the other side of the display she was standing at and searched, still not seeing anything. When the other mentioned seeing nothing but pumpkins at the local vegetable stands, Haven nodded. "Yeah, that seems to be the case this time of year from what I've gathered. I mean, I get loving pumpkins but, do we need that many pumpkin stands in East Haven?" @lilianaxsantos
"Isn't it the season for oranges and such? You'd think they'd be overflowing. Unless people mistook them for pumpkins and went batshit crazy." Liliana chuckled, moving on to the next stand where there were still no oranges. If they had to go to the other side of town she would. Because now she was craving those oranges like her life depended on it. "Yeah I've seen plenty of those. I've been trying to find some ginger too, but I haven't found those yet. Come to think of it, I've not seen a vegetable stand anywhere that is not pumpkins." @havenbsinclair

"That's what I'd been hoping for, but, apparently I wasn't the only person with the idea." she admitted, looking at the other for a moment and then back around them. She really was shocked to see that there wasn't a single orange in sight, and while she normally wasn't one to complain, she honestly had been looking forward to getting oranges from here; not only were they her favorites but they were the only ones she could get Lake to eat as well. Boys were picky enough, but her growing pre-teen boy was pickiest of all she thought. As she shook her head she looked at the other. "Lemons and limes but I'm sure that won't be a problem. All the citrus fruit, wouldn't even mind a grapefruit if there's enough to spare." @lilianaxalonso
"One would think that a farmer's market would be swarming with orange vendors, especially since it's the season again." Liliana laughed, though had the same idea as the other woman, thinking she could get oranges there. She was in the right mood for fresh orange juice and she might as well support the local farms rather than buying it at the supermarket. "Sounds like we're on a mission, lets go! Oranges and grapefruit for me. Anything else you need?" @havenbsinclair

She smiled as Liliana said that and she reached over and touched her arm. "Thank you. I appreciate that." She did know it, too. For a little bit after she found out, she did have a crisis with it all, but now, she was in this place of knowing her worth and who was worthy of her. Stevie laughed a little. "A cliché, isn't it?" Hearing who the woman was seeing, she smiled and nodded. "You're seeing Travis? That's great. It's about time he found someone again. You two are perfect for each other." @lilianaxalonso
"You're so much more than a husband's result of playing hookie, Stevie. Remember that." Especially to a man that was Arthur Heywood. Just because he had a fancy job title and a name that carried weight, didn't mean she had to suppress her own light. "Oh, so you mean the big rich family treats their children like shit? I'm shocked." Somehow the more money you had, the less time spent with your offspring. Liliana could never, she would see that as her being a failure in motherhood. "You're such a tease." She smiled, taking one of the small bites and eating it. "He's a groomsman actually so you know him. Travis." @steviexwagner
