yknow kinda sad we couldn't recruit Taniks to join out pirate crew. Like, Bungie SAYS he's dead, but they said he's dead before and, well...

My current theory is that Taniks is just being fridged until he can be defrosted for Lightfall as another raid boss. The main reason why I don't believe that motherfucker is dead-dead is because for him, death is just an effect he goes through, like some sort of hellish brumation period. Lile yeah they say he's dead but that's just what's going on with Taniks NOW, that doesn't mean it'll change later on...or at least, that's what I hope. Bungie please bring Taniks back for Lightfall that would be the icing on the fucking cake

Personally? I really hope that one of these days, he's revived by a ghost instead of an eliksni with a vengence kink. Taniks being the first Eliksni Guardian is funny to me for reasons beyond belief
