hellooo!!
i was thinking about poly!marauders seeing r’s natural hair for the first time? i’ve got curly hair but i straighten it most of the time bc it’s so annoying to take care of, i was wondering if you could write something abt this??
i’ve never requested before lmao i’m sorry if i did this wrong
Omg babe I too wear my curly hair straight 9/10 cos the volume?! Insane!! I actually just did a keratin treatment too cos I could manage
You’re fresh out the shower- well in a bathrobe when you hear the signs of your boys being home.
There’s some arguing- which you know is James and Sirius, and some softer words, Remus trying to placate them.
“We’re home angel!” Comes James’ voice, you listen as you put on some clothes.
“We got that soup you wanted.” Remus supplies- you wait for Sirius’ voice and don’t find it.
Instead, you’re met with the black haired man, scruff and all, present as you pull your towel from your hair.
“Hi puppet,” his lips meet your forehead, and then your lips. “I like the curls.” Sirius inked hand hovers just below the curls at your shoulders, fingertips collecting the water like dewdrops.
“Thanks Siri, I like ‘em too. If only they weren’t so finicky.”
“What’s finicky?” James asks at the door, pausing swiftly after looking up. “Your hair looks lush, angel!”
Your cheeks heat under both men’s attention and you know you don’t have long before Remus comes in and is making it hard to stand before them all.
“I brought the soup in here, didn’t want it to get too cold.” He’s holding a tray with two bowls on it- one for you and him you presume, James and Sirius prefer pho to yours and Remus’ wanton soup.
“Thanks Remmy, though you didn’t have to I was coming out soon.”
He shrugs, sets the tray down carefully and then fakes you in. “Are you wearing it curly this week?”
“Today and tomorrow,” you say, an almost insecure hand reaching to touch the curls.
“Looks good, dove.” Remus stalks towards you, hand cupping your cheek as he pulls you in for a kiss.
“Think you ought to keep it curly if you’re gonna get kissed like that, huh angel?” James flirts, all three of them taking turns kissing you silly before you find the voice to remind them about your food.

Pete Wentz Has Gorgeous Hair: an analysis of the colors pete has done over the years (made by a stylist!)
hello foblr i'm a hairstylist and the only thing in life that brings me joy is looking at pete's beautiful hair. i've wanted to make a big post talking about this from a stylist's perspective for a LONG time. this post would be wayyyy too long to do a timeline of every haircut he's ever had, so i'm just gonna stick to talking about hair color and also what other chemical services i think he had/has. this is still gonna be super fucking long, so take a look under the cut!
before we get into the colors, quick detour to talk about the other chemical services pete has had on his hair. i've gone back and forth on this, but i don't think he used to relax his hair in the good old straight as fuck emo hair days. he said in this article in 2011, "the amount of maintenance that went into my [straight] hair was ridiculous" and "I want to get out of the shower and just be stoked, not think about how I don't want water to touch my hair." which would make a lot of sense if the only thing he was doing was straightening it. his side burns were always his natural texture, which they really wouldn't have been if he'd been relaxing it too. they were just too short for him to get with the flat iron. examples:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
bonus picture of him straightening his hair:
Tumblr media
that being said, i DO think he has a keratin treatment in the present day! his hair has a level of shine that i've seen in a lot of clients that have keratin, and it can be applied over processed hair without breaking it off. examples of the shine i'm talking about
Tumblr media Tumblr media
there's still a little bit of wave in there when air dried, though! this is still common with chemical straightening treatments, they only relax up to 80% of the hair's natural texture, so this could easily be what it looks like if he'd just air dried and not straightened it afterwards.
Tumblr media
okay, chemical treatment sidebar over. onto color! i can feel it in my heart that pete's hair lifts really easily. look at the ends of his hair, here. they're WHITE!
Tumblr media
while i can't say i am intimately familiar with hairdressing in the 90s, from all the pictures of incredibly warm 90s highlights i've seen, i'm assuming toners weren't too common/nonexistent at the time. if his hair is that white without any toner, i KNOW it lifts well. i will return to the blond later, because i have a lot i want to talk about with him being blond.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
man, i love pete with red hair. i will tell everyone in the world how much i do. i think all of these are semi permanent colors on top of bleach because of how vibrant they are. pete has also done that thing that every emo with naturally dark hair has done and died it Pitch Black which i fucking respect (i have done this too)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
pink!!!!! i think this is an incredibly flattering color on him and it really brings out his eyes, i think he should do the pastel pink again bc it looks so fucking good on him
Tumblr media Tumblr media
okay onto what made me wanna make this post! I wanna talk about pete being blond!
Tumblr media
i can tell you with confidence that this is his hair without any toner. this looks like about 4-6 weeks of regrowth and there's some unevenness in the tone of the blond, but look at those ends! white as fuck! i really do think his hair can get to blond easily. i also think it's really funny when people call this era "lemon pete" because that's such a shady way of saying his hair looks brassy lmao, it looks different when it's toned!!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
look at how gorgeous. his stylist is a saint. pete's all over bleach and tone with his long hair was so pretty but it also made me a little insane purely because of how long his roots often were, i know he's on the road a lot but i see these roots and it makes me want to cry as a stylist. it would be so hard to not get banding with roots this long.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
YOU CAN SEE YOUR ROOTS FROM UNDER YOUR HAT PLEASE BOOK AN APPOINTMENT
Tumblr media
and then one day i woke up and felt strangely at peace and it was because pete transitioned his bleach and tone into a balayage (which is much lower maintenance) this is when he first started it, i think they did some really blended highlights to start it off
Tumblr media
it grew some more and they are definitely now doing a true balayage on him, look at how there's some blond that comes almost all the way up to the root but it's only really solidly blond at the ends. i think they also did some kind of lowlight on him based on the fact that he has no visible grays and that there's brown at the roots and also the mids but it's lighter than his natural color.
Tumblr media
here's another good picture of what i'm talking about with the blond, it's focused at the ends only.
Tumblr media
you can actually see the transition in this picture! I doodled on it to show you where the old bleach and tone was and where they started to blend it upwards
Tumblr media
i also happen to know from listening to a podcast that he takes rly good care of his hair! he mentions that he uses olaplex which rly does not surprise me, of course his fancy LA stylist got him on the olaplex train. he also uses silk hair ties! all of this was incredibly sexy information to discover if i'm completely honest. pete has had fucking beautiful hair his entire life and i wanted to force everyone to look at it from the technical perspective that i do, thank you for reading!

the following is a blog post, written by tanja, in the Bird HRT universe:
UPDATE and a cancelled article!
Hi all, it's been a long time since my last blog post. Here's the deal; I was in hospital. Long story short, some things went pretty wrong, and here I am, having to deal with a huge backwards step in progress then having had to retrace those steps with additional gooey complications and therapy.
Anyway, here's a journalistic article I was pretty close to finishing and submitting to actual newspapers before everything went down and I had to cancel it.
Rejecting Humanity - Or, How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Just Be Myself
As I write this, I'm sitting in the waiting room of a Hospital cross Research Laboratory in London. By the time you're reading this, I'll have been on my treatment journey for over a year. What treatment, you ask? Well, it's Humanity Removal Therapy. One year ago, I undertook a radical new procedure which slowly transforms you from human to another form. Perhaps you've seen strange creatures out and about; a snow leopard at the supermarket, a dog at the drive-thru, or a tuatara at the thrift shop. Or, perhaps, you haven't; as I write this, the number of patients might not yet have reached triple digits worldwide.
Perhaps I should introduce myself. My name is Tanja ------, and I am an Iberian Azure-winged Magpie, scientific name 'cyanopica cooki'. One year ago, I was fully human, and now I look like a hybrid between our two species. So, let me guide you through my world.
How is this possible?
A little over a year ago, certain medical circles revealed that species transformation had been trialled in mice, turning them into various other creatures, with various success rates from 20 to 80% depending on size and how different the target species was. Now, I'm not for animal testing, but when I heard that human trials were going to open, I kept that pinned to my calendar. And so, after a few months, I was able to finally sign up and have my first interview. Which was… short. Turns out, they had pretty elaborate ways of gatekeeping people who really meant that they wanted it from those that they thought would regret the procedures. They also had a little joke, based on gender HRT, where they would ask if you'd spent years living as your preferred species beforehand. Or at least, I think it was a joke. And then, I was on my way to becoming the bird I love.
How much did it cost?
Well, luckily for me, the NHS provides free healthcare. Then, due to this being a clinical trial, I get paid for being a test subject. Then, due to the effects of the medicine, I receive Disability Benefits. The treatment itself is… a bit of a legal loophole, really. This very article may well be the first you've heard of it.
Is it just a magic pill?
Nope! It's a mix of CRISPR, gene replacement, hormone injections, and surgeries over time. It's a real mishmash, at least in my case. For example, keratinous structures can be grown through selective DNA editing and hormones that stimulate 'hair' growth in specific areas in specific ways. Bone structure can also slowly be altered in some cases through gene replacement, though in some cases, surgery is needed. My back, for example, will soon be undergoing surgery to adjust the way the vertebrae are laid out. Some aspects just are too difficult to be done naturally, and so artificial parts and prosthetics are added. But this complicated procedure has an upside - it means that there is more customisation possible! For example, a Harpy would be a very specific set of applications of Bird HRT that exclude certain aspects such as the face!
Are there downsides?
Definitely. There's the immunosuppression that has to occur to stop new parts from being rejected. There's the high risk of cancers and other diseases to occur as a result of this procedure. There's just the risk that your organs will fail. Most of this is irreversible too.
Why even do it then?
Because, to that small number of people, it's so worth it. This is a new life, an opportunity to discard that uncomfortable human vessel and be yourself at last. For the vast majority of people, being oneself is being human, but that's not the case for everyone.
Is it going to be banned?
Well, that's hard to say. Governments worldwide are, I'm sure, now aware of this phenomenon. And I think it presents a threat to the status quo. This is something new, something scary, something intimidating, that shifts the power balance between subjects and governers. And it's not just because some people have become huge fire-breathing dragons - it's the meaning behind it. They've rejected the very notion of the social contract between humans and crafted a new identity. Do we still count as people? And that's really the question, isn't it. So much of the way government and society works is to split people into groups of those that are 'more' people, and those that are 'lesser' people - and that dictates what societal violences are permissible, for example. This whole new procedure will have to make governments rethink so much, and it can either be a source of worry for us, or a source of hope for everyone. We just have to be loud enough to be heard for who we are.
So what will come next? Well, I'm going to hop on in to my next appointment, and the Earth will keep spinning. My first set of wings has almost reached full-span, and my toe-dexterity is almost at where I was with hands as a human. With my next set of primaries, I may have enough of a wingspan to fly, if I keep my weight low enough. Meanwhile, Parliament will likely have a debate on the issue, as a petition to legalise the procedure has a few thousand signatures on the government's official petition website. I'll be waiting on that result eagerly.
If you have any other questions, I'd be more than willing to answer them!

My 🤍Vanilla Scented🤍 Everything Shower
Hello, my dears! This is kind of a step-by-step guide/how to on my shower routine :) my favorite compliment to get is that I smell good and since doing this I get that at least once a day! My go to is Vanilla or Coconut scents! I usually do a combination of the two <3
Tumblr media
1. Before your shower
I personally believe you have to set the vibes of your shower first, I don’t always listen to music while I shower, sometimes I just like to take that time to think, but if I do I set up my phone/speaker in the shower, make sure I have a towel to dry my hands if I need, and find a playlist!
I also love incense, candles, or essential oils while I’m showering! If I have a headache or I’m not feeling good I’ll use essential oils that target that kind of thing and I find the steam + oils really helps!
2. Shampoo
I like to go top to bottom when I shower! I find it makes me feel the cleanest! So step one is shampoo, I still have not found the perfect shampoo and conditioner for me yet (if anyone has any recommendations please lmk) I’m using the Tresseme Keratin one right now but I want to try more!
Double cleanse your hair!! After I shampoo and rinse the first time I go right back in and shampoo again! Some people use two different shampoos, I would like to do that but I haven’t found any I love enough yet. This makes your scalp so clean and my hair is on the thinner side and I find that this makes my hair look less weighed down after day 1!
Tumblr media
3. Hair Mask (Twice a Week)
I use a bunch of different hair masks, usually for different things (damage repair, hydration, elasticity) but it’s totally up to you! I feel like hair masks are so treatment based you really have to find which one works for you and your hair type/hair needs.
Leave the mask in for 5-10 minutes, we’ll do the next couple steps with it sitting in your hair!
Tip: keep a claw clip or hair tie in the shower so you can keep your hair up while it absorbs the product!
*If you don’t use a hair mask put your conditioner in at this step and leave in to soak into your hair the same!*
4. Wash #1
Double cleansing is everything to me, when I tell you like two years ago I was trying everything to smell good, it’s embarrassing lol but I was struggling because I didn’t know what to do + I have rather sensitive skin that reacts to some products in a less than great way so I have found that double cleansing everything helps so much!
For this first wash I use an antibacterial bar soap! Specifically the Dial antibacterial one but you can use whatever you want, this came in a huge pack and I’m only like halfway through lol. I know people love Dove and I want to as well but as far as I know they’re big time Z**nists and I try to avoid!
So yeah, brand of soap doesn’t really matter to me as long as it’s an antibacterial one! That will get rid of the bacteria that produces BO
Tumblr media
5. Shaving Time
I know not everyone shaves but I love have smooth legs so this is how I do it!
First, I’ll go in with a scrub! There are a few I like (Tree Hut has great ones and a million scents to choose, Bath and Body Works has some, they’re not my favorite but they work, I really like the OGX coconut coffee one, not expensive and smells great!)
Then, shaving cream! If I’m out of shaving cream I’ll use conditioner instead but you just want something to kinda lube up your legs before you shave lol. As for shaving creams I’m not too picky, I really like the EOS vanilla shaving cream and I’ll get that when I can but I don’t find that the smells sticks around from it so whatever shaving cream works best for you!
Finally, the shaving, I use a 3-5 blade razor, usually the generic brand from Target lol but I find they work really well and I hardly ever get cuts from them! Anything less than 3 blades I find myself getting nicked way more!
6. Conditioner!
So, after you shave, you wanna rinse the hair mask out completely and apply your conditioner! (I’ve been using the matching Tresseme Keratin conditioner but again I’m not obsessed with it)
*if you skipped the hair mask step you can either keep your conditioner in for longer or rinse it out at this step!*
I like to leave my conditioner soaking in my hair same as the mask making sure to get the ends of my hair really well!
7. Brush your Teeth
Some people think I’m crazy for this but I way prefer to brush my teeth in the shower, plus it gives me something to do while I wait for various hair products to soak in haha, idk if anyone cares about what I use but I use an electric toothbrush and usually Crest Whitening toothpaste!
I also do this every day, not just in the shower but scrape your tongue! It helps keep my mouth feeling clean and fresh all day I cannot recommend enough!
Tumblr media
8. Rinse your Hair
Get all the conditioner out! It’s healthiest to rinse your hair in cold water and I really do feel a difference in the smoothness and moisture in my hair when I do but it’s hard lol so if you can do a cold rinse (or better yet rest of your shower) that would be best, I usually turn it to a lower warm and pretend it’s doing the same thing lol
9. Wash, wash, wash your face
Now that my hair is clean and all the product is out of it I move on to washing myself, you want to make sure you get all the product residue from your hair off of you! That’s a huge cause of body acne and irritated skin!
I wash my face first, I like the cleansers from The Ordinary and Good Molecules but keep in mind I don’t really struggle with acne, in fact I have pretty dry skin so I try to go for more moisturizing ones! What is good for my face might not be what you need :)
Oh what’s that? You thought we were done? Nope! Wash your face again! Double cleansing saves my skin but kills my wallet lol! I wear makeup and sunscreen and touch my face all day, I want to make sure I’m getting all of that off and then ALSO cleaning my skin underneath! It has made a huge difference in the way my skin both looks and feels!
10. Body Wash!
Last step! Grab your body wash of choice! I have been using Bath and Body Works Madagascar Vanilla scent but I like pretty much any vanilla scented body washes! Then, I take a loofah and scrub my whole body, making sure to get my back and legs because the run off from the conditioner isn’t good to leave on and will clog your pores!
Tumblr media
11. Out of the Shower
Ok! Now that you’re all done in the shower I thought I’d tell you about my post shower smell good process because it’s just as important lol. I start with a body lotion (I use a matching Vanilla scent to my body wash) I hear putting body oil on first then lotion makes your skin super soft but I haven’t tried yet!
Anyways, put the lotion EVERYWHERE, arms, legs, chest, stomach, feet, get your whole body nice and smooth!
I use a body/hair mist, right now it’s the Tropical Vanilla one from Pacifica and I put that in my hair and all over the lotion while it absorbs!
Then for deodorant, literally the only one that works for me and doesn’t give me a rash is the Secret Clinical Gel, it smells like nothing, I wish I could use one that smells good but unfortunately my body hates them :/
Lastly! Purfume/purfume oil! My favorites are Sweet Cream and Fresh Cashmere by Philosophy and I’m using the Creamy Coconut perfume oil by Kuumba Made!
Tumblr media
All done! Thank you so much for reading! I hope this helped or you at least found this fun! Have a good one <3

Hey so you don’t have to reply to this but I’ve been having a career crisis lately and considering other vocational paths. One of these careers just so happens to be hair. I was wondering if you could tell me what made you want to become a hairdresser?
Ohhh this might get long but
First things first my mom is a hairdresser. Me becoming one wasn't a case of "I'm going to take over my mom's business" because she's been a sole proprietor booth renter for probably over 30 years now. She doesn't run a salon with other people under her, it's just her and her clients. If I worked under her I would have just been taking money our of her pocket.
But my mom being a hairdresser definitely influenced me! Getting to watch her work and own her own business my whole life helped me understand exactly what to expect out of the industry, and what I would have to do to be successful.
But me actually deciding to become a hairdresser started with me being absolutely miserable in my third semester of college. I loved studying sociology, but school and I don't mix well. I also realized that while I loved what I was studying, I didn't have any real interest in the professions usually associated with what I was majoring in. (Didn't want to do any kind of counseling, hate math so no stats work, research was the most enticing but too close to how school works and I Know would have been Miserable ultimately)
So one day being absolutely miserable and stressed around finals I sat myself down and forced myself to think about what the next 5-10 years would look like. I realized that if I stayed in college it would be to finish, find a job in my degree, then eventually when I have the time and money again I'd go to cosmetology school. (At the time I thought I was going to be a makeup artist. Holy shit fuck that noise. Not for me.)
And it just kind of clicked for me. Why am I spending all this money on a degree i (while I loved) did not really want? Especially when I could finish cosmetology school in under a year with less money than 2 semesters of college would be? Especially since you can start making money directly out of cosmetology school and continuously build after that as you gain more clients.
My final advice is this. There is a hairdresser for everyone and there are clients for every hairdresser. Genuinely the best thing you can do is be yourself and the right people will find you. And then they'll give your their friends, who like you too because you're their kind of people. And you get to choose absolutely what the fuck ever you want to specialize in. You can do exclusively color. Exclusively cuts. You can choose what style of cutting and coloring you want to learn from and you can completely switch that in the middle of your career. You can exclusively do texture treatments (perms, keratins, etc) if you're okay with so many chemicals in your body and bad smells! You can specialize in rat haircuts, which I honestly might try to do. (I have not done one yet. Someone let me do a rat haircut on them. Please. Rat haircut.) You can do everything! Also don't forget barbering!! Whole different school with different subsets and specializations, but many many cosmetologists cross over into both as well! I plan on eventually also acquiring a barbering license so I can truly be a one stop trans chop shop (mainly so I can offer my trans girlies clean shaves between electrolysis/Lazer appointments (iirc one can and cannot. I cannot be fucked to check rn)
So. Yeah. I think trades are absolutely the way to go right now in this economy. We provide services that everybody wants or needs, from hair to plumbing to carpentry to welding to auto mechanics to nail techs. There will always be a broken toilet, an oil change, a haircut needed.
Watch out for pandemics though. Woof.

Please put the beauty industry on blast for often treating chronic incurable skin conditions and even stuff like mild temporary acne as things you can just ~solve~ by buying expensive creams/treatments, “drinking more water,” or “not being fat/dirty.” 🙃
OOOOOOOHHHHH MY GOD I WILL BLAST THEM ALL DAY FOR THIS.
Also Christ, I went through so many drafts of this because I just kept rambling because there is SO MUCH to say about this, way more than what I have here. Kristin and I have talked about this kind of thing S O much. Under a cut because it is LONG.
First and foremost: There are no skin conditions that come to mind that involve being fat or dirty. N O N E. As my instructor likes to say, "Did you rub dirt on your face? Then you're not dirty." I won't even elaborate on the fat thing because that's just ridiculous and honestly boils down to the same thing (because of course "Fat People are Dirty Sweaty Grease-Soaked Slobs"). Y'all wanna know what causes most of the common disorders?
Acne - Genetics/hormones, friction, or skin sensitivities. Congrats, you're really good at producing sebum, a vital component of your skin's protective barrier!
Keratosis Pilaris - Genetics, occasionally made worse by harsh exfoliation. Congrats, you're really good at producing keratin, the building block protein that makes up skin, hair, and nails!
Rosacea - Who the Fuck Knows, but the National Rosacea Society hypothesizes that it's either down to the way your immune and neurovascular systems function, serious systemic diseases (none of which are Obesity), or a species of mite that everyone has on their skin already.
Psoriasis - Immune disorder.
Eczema - Who the Fuck Knows, probably a combo of genetics and environmental factors.
HS - Who the Fuck Knows, but probably genetics/hormones.
All of these things have flare-ups or cyclic behavior, btw. Flareups can have a hundred causes, it just depends on the individual! Stress is common across the board, but it's far from the only one. What doesn't happen? Get breakouts or flare-ups by being Dirty or Fat or Eating Poorly. Your skin just Does Stuff. So many genetic disorders come down to "My skin makes More or Less of something than is ideal for my body" or "My body is Very Protective of me." Literally, every disorder pretty much comes down to genetics, illness, or Who the Fuck Knows (because there is not enough research being done on way too many disorders). And none of this is simply "fixed" or "cured" by throwing money at the problem, regardless of what anyone tells you.
Does a skincare routine make your skin feel good? Sure! Soft skin feels nice and might give your mental health a boost because you're doing something nice for yourself most days. Also you do a lot of blood flow stimulation in the process and that might make you feel a bit more energized. But if you have a disorder and you feel like you've Tried Everything to no avail, it is not your fault, either. Skin, entire functioning organ that it is, is so much more complex than a skincare routine makes it seem.
My biggest takeaway from this education has just been Bodies Do Stuff and Everyone's Skin is Different. If you have a skin disorder, including all the hundreds of disorders I didn't mention, you are not dirty or bad or gross. Your skin just Does Stuff and the Beauty and Wellness industries are really bad at saying, accepting, and teaching this - it doesn't make money, after all.

OC Information: Rei Kozuki
Tumblr media
Name🪽: Rei Kouzuki (Born Reina Takami). Kouzuki has the kanji for “night” as well as “moon” in it- a reflection of her love for both the moon and the night time. Reina thinks of her occupation in Fenrir as “no place under the sun” or “a place in the shadows”. The world of heroes on the other hand is the opposite- and she´s not a part of it.
Age 🪽: 21 at the beginning of season 1.
Personality 🪽: Headstrong, intelligent, incredibly sassy. Not to mention the fact that Rei can get incredibly arrogant and over her head some times. Rough around the edges with an incredibly small, soft core (does it even exist? only Reina knows). An unbothered and very unserious qween.
Hero or villain🪽? villain. Hired by the Paranormal Liberation Front as extra help; leads a double life- one as a popular journalist and one as a mercenary of Fenrir.
Code name🪽: Faker (since she forged all of her papers to reenter Japan)
Nicknames🪽: “Diva”- Unfortunately for just anyone around her, if you catch Reina on some bad days she is quite literally one of the worst and entitled woman around. Karen? No, Rei.
“Drumstick, Chickenwing” (or anything other chicken/birdrelated, for obvious reasons)
“moonchild”- Reflects her love for the moon, Reina spends literal hours analyzing the moon and taking fotos of it.
Birthday: she doesn't have an actual birthday. Born at home without any actual records, she just got to make one up- so she decided to be born on the 24.12. Found it cool as a child, now it's just stupid to her. Doesn't celebrate either.
Hair🪽: originally light brown, fluffy like her mother's, however she uses keratin treatment to keep it straight and dyes it black. Occasionally curls it for special occasions. It reaches to her hip- Rei finds it easier to manage while long, easier to tie up and braid and just to “forget about”. Her hair can be complicated, therefore the keratin treatment. It´s simply easier than figuring out a whole haircare routine.
Eyecolor🪽: Golden. - but Rei wears green contacts to avoid any comments or being traced back to her brother. The markings on her eyelids and tearducts are longer and a bit more pronounced but usually covered by foundation and the likes.
Skincolor🪽: On the tanner side. She´s spent some time in the desert and returns to it occasionally. So no keeping pale for her.Outfits🪽: a fashionable young woman with expensive tastes. Dresses androgynous and more feminine on the days she feels like it. Always seen with heels. Her favorite brands are: Loewe, Dolce and Gabbana, Chanel, Dior and Alexander McQueen as well as Karl Lagerfield. Due to her being a soldier (explained in backstory) she has an uniform with extra gadgets: - gloves plated with metal so she can grab weapons with ease, claws - a gadget on her wrist that can shoot out chains, helps in combat - uniform is fireproof, thick, has a cooling system built in. - a helmet (protection, communication) - lots of pockets and holsters for extra weapons
"𝕷𝖆𝖘𝖙 𝖈𝖍𝖆𝖓𝖈𝖊 𝖙𝖔 𝖗𝖚𝖓. 𝕿𝖍𝖊 𝖔𝖓𝖊𝖘 𝖘𝖙𝖎𝖑𝖑 𝖘𝖙𝖆𝖓𝖉𝖎𝖓𝖌 𝖇𝖊𝖋𝖔𝖗𝖊 𝖒𝖊 𝖜𝖎𝖑𝖑 𝖇𝖊 𝖘𝖑𝖆𝖎𝖓 𝖜𝖎𝖙𝖍𝖔𝖚𝖙 𝖒𝖊𝖗𝖈𝖞."
Lead weapons🪽: Rei is a weapon in experts and close-range as well as ranged combat. So anything you give her she can use. Out of sentimental reasons she uses a rifle with a bayonet stuck onto it, can be seen resorting to axes, spears and bigger swords. If left with no weapon, she'll just take anything lying around or even her teeth to rip out flesh (actually got famous for that move in her organization).
→ Reina sometimes tends to choose weapons based on how “fashionable” they are (aka if the fighting style and appearance fits to her outfits?? She´s a diva like that, what can I say.)
Other skills🪽:
→ martial arts expert: Rei started early on to train in karate, later picked up krav maga and the likes as well as a special nerve-based martial arts developed by the organization called “Fenrir”. Once she hits certain points on the body, she can paralyze a bodypart or lessen the power of a quirk..or take it away. This is only temporarily. If she gets a clean hit, Rei can nullify a quirk for up to 30 minutes.
→  Stamina and determination: Due to lots of training she has a lot of stamina. Is ruthless. she'll do anything to fulfill her mission. No qualms or care about getting injured either.
→ Bloodlust: Rei can omit an aura fulled with bloodlust to an extent similar to Stain. This either stuns enemies or at least weakens their morale. This doesn´t happen often, due to Rei keeping her composure in most battles.
→ intelligence/knowledge: Reina has a lot of knowledge about biology, having focused a lot of energy into learning everything about the human body that she could. She also has the ability to pick up on things and skills. For example: Reina can speak about six languages (Fenrirs language, arabic, english, japanese, chinese, russian)
Quirk🪽: “Allseeing eye”- can control birds, however, does not understand them. Does so by screaming/singing/calling. Useless in combat. (She didn´t care about a name but one of her fellow mercenaries/soldiers named it so she´s using that. She thinks its lame.)
Quirk awakening🪽: Rei starts sharing senses with her birds- allowing for more precise commands and even better observation of her surroundings. Rei cannot share her senses with more than two birds at once. Her eyes turn fully golden whenever she does so- one for each bird.
Mutation🪽: has a pair of black wings- originally dark brown, the wings are dyed black (wings similarly built like a peregrine falcon). I HC that Hawks and Rei both have the genetic mutation of a peregrine falcon. Those birds have larger females so she´s way taller than her brother (stands around 6ft). Her wings are also made out of proper flesh and bone and not just feathers. Not to mention that she can´t control them like her brother does. Between the two of them..she definitively got more bird genes in her.weakness🪽: In combat, she's limited in the damage she can do without her equipment. Sure, she always takes a bunch of grenades with her but once she runs out of those, Rei has a problem. And guns and rifles need loading. Personalitywise..She's stuck in her ways of thinking, loves to complain but never does shit about the things she hates. Ready to sacrifice her life, body for whatever mission she's been put on. However..She does have a heart and is a bit more humane than the rest of her companions.
Strengths🪽: a feral, scary soldier- In terms of strength and skills she's one of the top ten in her organization. her skills and development of martial arts are almost unparalelled. Very strong-willed and quick witted individual..Also a good liar and an incredible actress. The ideal soldier.
Dreams🪽: Acknowledged by the man she calls her father (the head of her organization).
Fears🪽: A soldier does not fear. Fear is the mind killer.

How to take care of your hair after Keratin Treatment
Introduction
You’ve just invested time and money in a keratin treatment, and you’re eager to flaunt your newfound, silky smooth hair. But hold your horses! The secret to long-lasting, luscious locks lies in proper aftercare. Let's dive into the world of post-keratin hair care, busting myths and providing expert tips to keep your hair looking its absolute best.
Understanding Keratin Treatments
Before we dive into aftercare, let's quickly recap what a keratin treatment actually does. Keratin is a protein naturally found in your hair, but over time, external factors like heat styling, pollution, and chemical treatments can deplete it. A keratin treatment replenishes this protein, smoothing the hair cuticle and reducing frizz.
Essential Wait Time for Keratin Hair
One of the most critical aspects of keratin treatment aftercare is the waiting period. This typically lasts 2-3 days, during which you should avoid:Water: This includes washing, swimming, or even getting caught in the rain. Heat styling: Say goodbye to your beloved curling iron and straightener for a few days. Hair ties or clips: These can create creases in your hair.
Washing Your Hair Post-Keratin
Once the waiting period is over, it's time to introduce your hair to its new washing routine.Sulfate-free shampoo: Sulfates can strip the keratin from your hair, so opt for sulfate-free options. Cold water: Washing your hair with cold water helps to seal the cuticle and preserve the keratin treatment. Gentle washing: Avoid scrubbing your scalp vigorously. Instead, focus on massaging the shampoo into your hair.
Deep Conditioning
While keratin treatments add a protective layer, your hair still needs deep conditioning. Look for products specifically formulated for keratin-treated hair. These will help maintain moisture balance and prevent dryness.
Heat Styling
Heat styling can gradually break down the keratin treatment, so it's essential to use it sparingly. When you do style, always apply a heat protectant.
Smart Hair Tie and Accessory Picks
Opt for gentle hair ties like scrunchies or silk bands to avoid creating creases. Avoid metal hair clips as they can snag your hair.
Protect Your Hair While Swimming
Chlorine and saltwater can damage your keratin treatment. If you're planning a swim, wet your hair with clean water before entering the pool or ocean. This will help minimize the absorption of harmful chemicals.
Protect Your Hair from the Sun
Just like your skin, your hair needs protection from the sun's harmful rays. Use hair products with SPF or wear a hat when spending extended periods outdoors.
Keep Hair Healthy with Regular Trims
Regular trims are essential for removing split ends and preventing breakage. This will help your hair look its best and maintain the benefits of the keratin treatment.
Professional Touch-Ups
To prolong the effects of your keratin treatment, consider getting professional touch-ups every 2-3 months.
Common Keratin Treatment Myths Debunked
Myth: Keratin treatments damage your hair. Fact: When done by a professional with high-quality products, keratin treatments can actually improve hair health by sealing the cuticle. Myth: You can't curl or style your hair after a keratin treatment. Fact: While it's best to avoid heat styling immediately after the treatment, you can curl or style your hair once it's fully dry. Myth: Keratin treatments are only for straight hair. Fact: Keratin treatments can be used on all hair types, from straight to curly.
FAQ
What is keratin treatment? A keratin treatment is a hair smoothing process that involves applying a keratin-based solution to the hair. Keratin is a natural protein found in hair, and the treatment aims to replenish and strengthen the hair's structure.
How long does a keratin treatment last? The results can last anywhere from 3 to 5 months, depending on hair type and aftercare.
Can I color my hair after a keratin treatment? It's best to wait a few weeks before coloring your hair to allow the keratin to fully bond.
Is keratin treatment safe for pregnant women? While some keratin treatments contain formaldehyde, there are formaldehyde-free options available. It's best to consult with your doctor before undergoing the treatment.
Is keratin treatment good for hair? Keratin treatment can be beneficial for many hair types, especially those prone to frizz or damage. It can smooth the hair cuticle, reduce frizz, and add shine. However, it's essential to choose a reputable salon and opt for formaldehyde-free products to minimize potential risks.
Does keratin treatment straighten hair? While keratin treatments can significantly reduce frizz and create a smoother appearance, they don't necessarily result in completely straight hair. The degree of straightening depends on your hair's natural texture and the specific keratin treatment used. Some treatments offer more straightening power than others.
Conclusion
Investing in a keratin treatment is a fantastic way to achieve smoother, healthier hair. By following these aftercare tips, you can extend the life of your treatment and enjoy beautiful hair for months to come. Remember, consistency is key! Oooohhhh I thought the sexual dimorphism with the Raltz evolutionary line was due to the effects of testosterone on their bone structure. Because there’s a subtle way that breeders sex them when they’re young by checking their elbows. At least where I’m from. Not sure how the rules work in y’all’s universe.
So, at a male Raltz’s elbow there’s an teeny little bit of a boney spur, which becomes more noticeable when they evolve into Kirlia. The spur reduces if they evolve into a Gardevoir but it’s still somewhat present (about to the same extent that it was when they were a Raltz). So! When they evolve via dawn stone the effect stimulates rapid growth of the spur to become Gallade blades which further respond to the effects of mega evolution the addition of extra keratin production making the blades significantly sharper.
Granted, the testosterone epigenetic bone growth thing is just speculation on my end from what I learned about the line in my evolutionary biology class. It’s probably not the full story thb. If they tested hormone treatment or blocking on Raltz (among other possibilities that I’d rather not bring up) it would either support or debunk that thought but since they are such a highly intelligent and sensitive pokemon no ethics board alive would ever approve that kind of testing. Not that I, personally, would follow through with that. I’m not really into research outside of reading the published papers (I want to be a human doctor later but my undergrad stuff involved learning mostly pokemon and plants).
Tumblr media
Peach: Its an interesting theory and an interesting hypothesis but we've ruled it out.
Peach: Ethics aside, Hormones dont take place in pokemon the same way they do in humans and semi humans like you and I. They dont actually get involved during evolution. Within the states of a Ralts, we find that they have no Hormones that would trigger the differences. Obvioisly, because they dont evolve straight away into a Gardevior or Gallade.
Peach: The real testing is with Kirlia, but we've monitored just about everything we could ethically, and still nothing is showcasing why only males evolve into Gallade. There are some Gardeviors that have much higher Testosterone levels that are, biologically, female. And the Male Gardeviors dont actually expierence a drop in their own testosterone, when evolving.
Peach: However, it could also be due to the fact that we simply dont have the technology or maybe we're missing a major portion between gendered evolutions if Gendered evolutions are even a thing.
Peach: The microbiomes within pokemon are so intense and densely packed it'd be near inpossible to really claim to know that we've ruled out everything.
Peach: I'll bring up the theory of yours into a board. Maybe get some hormonal therapist to really be able to pin it to us straight. But from current research stands, it's already been a bust.

if it was done by a professional it shouldn’t fade unevenly! also i pretty much always hate my hair right after getting it done, because i feel like the way they style it just looks so different! one good wash and it should fade and lay more natural to how you style it! wishing you the best luck!🫶
part of what i hate is that i got a keratine treatment so its very straight and flat... and orange. i'm afraid the extensions will fade differently from my real hair but i have a few ideas. once it's all lightened enough, i have a ginger orange conditioner that is the color i want!

Make-up Toxicity
I, like many people of my generation, love makeup.
Tumblr media
Growing up during the late 2000′s and 2010′s cosmetic influencers played a very important role. To this day there are many young Gen Z’ers and Gen Alphas that are coming into contact with make-up content, and generally love cosmetics.
Tumblr media
Cosmetics are not just make up, “ A "cosmetic" is any substance used to clean, improve or change the complexion, skin, hair, nails or teeth. Cosmetics include beauty preparations (make-up, perfume, skin cream, nail polish) and grooming aids (soap, shampoo, shaving cream, deodorant).”
We don’t discuss enough how absolutely dangerous some of these products  are on the market.
I’m not just talking about your cheap dollar store make-up.
I am 100% talking about your super popular favorite eye-shadow palettes, your $60+ foundation, and your most loved mascara.
I am talking about your body wash, lotion, and even your aluminum free deodorant. Your toothpaste, your hair creams, and your gel nail polish that you cure with a uv lamp.
Tumblr media
These chemicals are being placed on parts of your body that are supremely delicate, and your body is processing (or not) all of the materials within those products.
I feel completely psychotic writing this all down, and I doubt anyone will stop to read. You probably already think I’m crazy.
But when it comes to cancer, we shouldn’t play around, and although cancer related deaths have gone down due to medical advances in treatment and pharmaceuticals, we still need to have a discussion on why it is rates of cancer are going up so rapidly in the under 50 category.
I am not for banning every single chemical that has a minute chance of causing cancer or endocrine disruption, but I am for smarter and longer studies of the chemicals being placed in our daily cosmetics.
A lot of these cosmetic companies are given the go ahead to release their products to the public, as long as they do not cause any dramatic allergic reactions, but we need to be practical and make sure that the FDA is doing their due diligence.
Most of us grew up eating frozen dinners out of plastic microwaved trays, we had Johnson & Johnson baby powder placed on our bodies daily, we wore/wear chemical filled deodorant, and still continue to bathe ourselves in very unnatural but nice smelling soaps.
And as for POC, like myself, we grew up from a young age getting relaxers done on our hair and keratin treatments.
Tumblr media
It is not logical or rational to say that one item in your regimen is going to cause terminal cancer, but a life long interaction with a multitude of products that can raise your chances... you need to ask yourself these questions: “What is this? Where did it come from? Why am I doing this? And is it worth it?”
I can talk about a million different things that we need to change in this world, like what is our furniture made up of, and are you sure your home was built with materials that are safe for you to live in, what about your mattress?
Are you cooking with plastic utensils, eating off of plastic plates, and cooking on a scratched up non-stick pan? Cause I know I am. I have. And I’m learning that much of the things that are natural to me, in this world, are not safe. Much of the food and products we consume on the daily are putting our families at risk.
So please do your due diligence and take care of yourself in a way that your government won’t.

Omg tell us about your trip. You were gone for LONG TIME. Where did you go? And what princess treatment you had.
Omg yeas, I was gone for a long time because I had been waiting 4 years for this and still there was so much planning left to do from flights to hotel to what to do when I land first and what not.
The whole time that took was around 11hrs or so but since we had 1 stop, it was more like 1hr flight then 5hrs wait then finally 5hrs flight again.
The princess treatment was basically everyone was so super nice and I wanted to get my nails done but almost all the nail salons near my hotel was fully booked and they felt more sad and guilty than me 😭🙏🏼 then I had gone to chop off my hair because my hair grows super fast just 4 months and my shoulder length already were touching my elbows 🤡 and the staff there was so nice he gave me full on 2000 worth discount and even though we had to communicate through google translate he was so kind about it and I get ticklish very much but he was absolutely so kind about it and tolerated me very well, gave me free keratin treatment plus even pulled up elevator for me and bowed me full on 90° 😭✨💅🏼
Then I had cut my finger and when I was at convenience store I invested in some bandages and the staff there was so kind he literally asked me if I needed help to put on bandages and finally I was at Starbucks waiting in line but the staff there literally was so kind he allowed me skip all the line and called me in front and took my order and even tho it was someone else's turn he stopped then and put me up front and asked me what I wanted and if I wanted to order more like I had never gotten such princess treatment before and I LOVED IT SO MUCH!
😭🙏🏼✨💕💅🏼💃🏻

Hi everyone. This is a very old post, but it's blown up again recently. I actually haven't worked for Kiehl's for almost a year now, but the knowledge I learned about skincare products has stayed with me, and I want to come in again to follow up with the very common comments and FAQs this post has gotten:
1. "What is the oil controlling moisturizer that mattifies?" The Kiehl's Oil Eliminator 24-hour Moisturizer in the men's section. I will warn you that it won't stand up to Sahara-level dryness, but there is also a toner in the same line if you need the same results with a more hardcore moisturizer to put on top of it. The toner can also be used as a setting spray if you like wearing makeup.
2. "Don't buy all these products just use the men's 5-in-1's!" I can not tell you hard enough how much you Should Not Use Multiple-in-1's. The basic chemistry of it just does not work. You can't make shampoo also be conditioner, or also be body wash, or also be face wash. They have completely different chemical makeups for a reason and if you try to add others you create a weird concoction of sludge that does barely anything. It might wash and moisturize your hair a LITTLE BIT but nowhere near the amount you need it to to have any real effect. And there is a real reason why body and fash wash are separate, it's not capitalism. The skin on your body is a lot thicker and more oily than the comparatively thin and dry skin on your face, do not use body wash on your face. And shampoo needs to be a LOT more stripping to clean hair, which is basically a pile of really thin dead keratin strands that trap dust and grime like its their job. Keratin can stand up to that much, your skin can't. Don't buy multiples.
3. "Don't buy from beauty stores, just get the cheap shit at walmart" once again, I can not stress enough that you Should Not Do That if you don't have a working knowledge of how ingredients work in skincare products. The reason those products are cheap is often because they use really cheap and often irritating, acne-causing, and environmentally disgusting binding ingredients over the responsibly-sourced and gentle ones. You can absolutely find cheaper products in department stores that will do the same thing if not more for you than what you get in Sephora, but don't play with fire if you don't know WHY it's so cheap. Even things as simple as squalane could cost 60 dollars somewhere and 12 in a walmart, and it's because cheap squalane is sourced from hunted shark fins, while the expensive stuff is from olives. You can already see the difference in why you shouldn't just assume cheaper is the same and I haven't even mentioned skin effects.
4. "Scents/parabens/sulfates are always bad" not necessarily. Not all added scents or parabens or sulfates are made equally. If you have really oil-capturing hair and work a grimey job, you're gonna need a shampoo with sulfates in it or you wont get it all off, for example. It really depends on what type it is and what your lifestyle and individual needs are. Don't villainize a whole group of ingredients just because they aren't good for a generalized group of people.
Also yes, anti-aging is a scam. BUT a lot of "anti-aging" products are good for other things. Retinol serums are a genuine godsend for people with persistent acne that is otherwise resistant to treatment.
Being the only guy who works in a beauty store is fucking hilarious sometimes. Im the only one who can sell our shitty beard shampoo and a not insignificant amount of our customers think im untrustworthy. According to my coworkers i use every mens product we have so they can get dudes to buy a shaving cream. Trying to explain to people that theres no difference between "men's" and "women's" products is like talking to a brick wall. Ive had multiple women get angry with me for sampling them out one of our "men's" moisturizers when they specifically said they wanted a mattifying one to control oil and that's the best one we have for those two things. I still think about the guy who came in asking if we had "masks for men." I contemplate ending it all every time someone returns a completely unused product that they absolutely refuse to try just because it either says or doesnt say "for men" on it. 90% of the time its the perfect product for them. I had a lady who was willing to buy a worse product for her needs that was more expensive just so it wouldnt say it was for men. Are you ever tired? Are you ever exhausted? These are the same kinds of people who say that im the one whos obsessed with gendering everything because im trans.

CPR Retail: The Ultimate Hair Care Solution for Revitalizing and Protecting Your Locks
Introduction
In the world of hair care, finding the right product that can both protect and revitalize your hair is essential. Whether your hair has been damaged by heat styling, colour treatments, or environmental stressors, a powerful and effective solution is necessary to bring back its vibrancy. Get CPR at Retail, and get a cutting-edge hair care solution designed to restore and protect your locks. This blog will delve into the benefits of CPR, how it works, and why it has become a popular choice for individuals seeking healthy, resilient hair.
Tumblr media
What is CPR?
The Concept Behind CPR
CPR Retail stands for "Cuticle Protection and Repair," which accurately describes its primary function—restoring damaged hair by repairing the hair cuticles. This innovative product line is formulated with ingredients that deeply penetrate the hair shaft, repairing damage from within while creating a protective layer to prevent further harm. Whether your hair is dry, brittle, or prone to breakage, CPR Retail offers a comprehensive solution to revive its strength and shine.
Key Ingredients in CPR
What sets CPR apart from other hair treatments is its unique blend of restorative ingredients, carefully chosen to address common hair concerns. Some of the core ingredients include:
Proteins: Hydrolyzed proteins are essential for strengthening the hair by rebuilding the bonds that have been weakened by heat or chemical treatments.
Moisturizing Agents: Ingredients like shea butter, argan oil, and panthenol work together to lock in moisture, ensuring that hair remains soft and hydrated.
Vitamins: Enriched with vitamins like Vitamin E and B5, CPR helps to nourish the scalp and promote healthy hair growth, while also protecting against oxidative stress.
Keratin: This natural protein forms the building blocks of hair. By incorporating keratin into its formula, CPR helps to repair damaged strands and reinforce the hair structure.
How CPR Retail Revitalizes Your Hair
Repairing Damage from Within
Hair damage often starts at the cuticle, the outermost layer of the hair shaft. When the cuticle is compromised, the inner layers of the hair become exposed to environmental elements, leading to dryness, frizz, and breakage. CPR Retail works by penetrating the hair shaft and repairing the cuticle, sealing in moisture and protecting the hair from further damage. The result is hair that feels smoother, stronger, and more resilient to daily wear and tear.
Protecting Against Future Damage
In addition to repairing existing damage, CPR also provides a protective barrier around each strand of hair. This helps to shield your hair from harmful elements such as UV rays, pollution, and heat from styling tools. By protecting the cuticle and keeping the hair's natural oils intact, CPR ensures that your hair remains vibrant and healthy over time.
The Benefits of Using CPR
Strengthened and Resilient Hair
The primary benefit of using CPR is stronger, healthier hair. By repairing the damage at the cuticle level and reinforcing the hair shaft, CPR reduces breakage and split ends. Regular use of the product can significantly improve the overall strength and elasticity of your hair, making it more resistant to daily styling and environmental stressors.
Hydration and Moisture Retention
One of the key issues with damaged hair is the loss of moisture, which can lead to a dry, straw-like texture. CPR l helps to restore hydration to the hair, replenishing moisture and sealing it into the cuticle. This ensures that your hair stays soft, shiny, and manageable throughout the day, even in harsh weather conditions.
Enhanced Shine and Smoothness
Frizz and dullness are common complaints among those with damaged hair. The combination of proteins and natural oils in CPR helps to smooth the hair cuticle, reducing frizz and improving the hair’s natural shine. After just a few treatments, you’ll notice that your hair is more reflective and silky to the touch, making it easier to style and maintain.
Protection Against Environmental Stress
Every day, your hair is exposed to various environmental stressors such as sun exposure, humidity, and pollution. These factors can cause significant damage over time, leading to dry, brittle hair. CPR provides a protective barrier that shields your hair from these external elements, allowing you to maintain healthy, vibrant locks even in challenging environments.
How to Incorporate CPR into Your Hair Care Routine
Frequency of Use
To achieve the best results, it is recommended to use CPR as part of your regular hair care routine. For individuals with severely damaged hair, using the treatment 2-3 times per week can help to accelerate the repair process. For maintenance, once a week may be sufficient to keep hair looking and feeling healthy.
Application Process
Using CPR is simple and straightforward:
Wash: Start by washing your hair with a mild shampoo to remove any dirt, oil, or product buildup.
Apply CPR Treatment: After rinsing the shampoo, apply CPR to your hair, focusing on the mid-lengths and ends where damage is most likely to occur.
Leave in for 5-10 minutes: Allow the product to penetrate your hair for about 5-10 minutes, depending on the level of damage.
Rinse thoroughly: Rinse the product out of your hair with warm water, and follow up with a conditioner to lock in the treatment’s effects.
Conclusion
The journey to healthy, revitalized hair begins with the right products, and CPR in Retail offers a comprehensive solution for anyone looking to repair and protect their locks. With its unique formula that combines proteins, vitamins, and natural oils, CPR works from within to strengthen, hydrate, and shield your hair from damage. Whether you're battling breakage, dryness, or dullness, CPR can transform your hair into the soft, shiny, and resilient mane you've always desired. Start incorporating CPR into your routine today, and experience the ultimate in hair care protection and revitalization.
