This makes me so fucking mad, how can you take a cultural story that was passed on through thousands of years where it’s Crystal fucking clear in most sources that Andromeda consents to marrying Perseus and think “but that’s not how it actually happened here is what she actually thought bc I said so”, once again a female character doesn’t have agency unless she makes decisions that reflect modern feminist standards.

I would’ve been fine with retellings that were like “hey what if this woman killed her abuser wouldn’t that be cool?” Or “even back then ppl thought this plot point/story beat made no sense so here is how I interpret it” but this is neither of those situations. Andromeda did have a happy ending and there is no point in changing that other than to present a shallow men = bad story.

I hate those memes with moms (or dads) getting exasperated or irritated with their kids and joke about how much they hate them, or underappreciate their kids and undermine their love for their parents. I hate them. If you don't want kids, don't have them. If you're "stuck" with your kid(s) then maybe reconsider your mindset as a parent and look beyond the surface. They're kids.
