if literally any driver other than lewis hamilton was his teammate, like if merc had gone with hulkenberg like they'd scouted for a while nico rosberg would be a 4x wdc rn and because the car was that goated, and his entire perception by fans would be different.
he won his first (and only race that year) in 2012. and in 2013 he won 2 races. from 2014-2016 he won 20 races, while having peak lewis fucking hamilton as his teammate. 20 races in 3 years. he was fucking fast
valtteri bottas won 10 races over the span of 5 years in merc for rocketship reference, and checo perez won 5 races with redbull over 3 years.
when ppl think nico is the hope for second drivers to pull off a wdc against their generational teammate, they're wrong. bc he's not the trend, he's the statistical anomaly. and he was no second driver.
#put some respect on his name#I don't think ppl conceptualise nico was actually good bc they think he won a championship by speaking German in cool-down rooms & dieting#like no he kept up against lewis hamilton and took a title off him#none of Max's teammates could ever do that. none of Lewis' did#23 career wins 30 poles 15 pole to wins 🤭🥶#nico rosberg

renaissance: the series • previous chapter
New York had never been more quiet than in that very moment. Nadia wanted to blame it on the fact that the penthouse was far too high up or that it was 2:36 am.
‘Bambi’ played in the background on the large tv, the light illuminating on the many faces in the living room. The friend group had celebrated Lewis’ Silverstone podium since the second they stepped out of the paddock, opting for tonight to be calm and have a group movie night with snacks and all types of pastries (Nadia baked those btw) laid across the table. Everyone was underneath blankets as they watched the tragic scene of Bambi’s mother dying.
Making the terrible mistake of looking at her ever buzzing phone, Nadia could see that Tia tried to contact her within the past few minutes but she internally rolled her eyes. Rea decided to play with her feelings and cause her heart to drop only to find out that the younger girl was lying straight out of her teeth about her marriage being leaked. Wanting nothing to do with social media for the week, Nadia kept herself busy. Spending time with Lewis and spending his money, one of her favourite things to do.
Her job was at stake and she knew that. With each passing day, Nadia’s sudden fame had taken a toll on her and her mental health and she was not sure if she wanted to continue working full time because it was taking a strain on her. She inwardly groaned at the thought of slightly proving her boss right who was consistent in reminding Nadia that this double life was not going to work in her favour.
Swiping further into her phone, she quickly understood why Tia was blowing up her phone.
Time felt slow and her body went numb as she read the headline over and over again. This wasn’t something that was light and airy and she could easily brush off her shoulder with just a flick of her hand. Every piece of jewellery she wore felt heavy, her clothes felt tighter than ever and her blood went cold.
Clearly not being the only one on their phone during the movie, Charlotte’s hair bounced as she snapped her head to her friend who’s tearful eyes were glued to her phone. At first, the woman couldn’t believe what she was seeing but her heart immediately sank when her eyes connected with Nadia’s.
All the food Nadia consumed earlier was rushing back up with intense speed and she quickly threw the blanket off her, running to the nearest bathroom. The blanket landed on Lewis’ confused face as he took it off to whip his head around. The men of the group were utterly confused as all the girls stood to their feet and quickly followed Nadia to wherever she ran to.
Lewis spotted Nadia’s phone on the floor, lifting the screen to his face. His eyes adjusted to the bold words written and as short as the title of the article was, it felt like reading an encyclopaedia written by the vultures within the media.
‘NADIA HAMILTON BATTLES INFERTILITY, ANON SAYS’
The article went on to explain how close the anonymous source was to Nadia, citing that they had kept this secret with themselves for years and hated the new found fame that Nadia attracted. All types of nasty connotations were made against her, calling her out of her name. This anonymous source also spoke on who she saw before Lewis but never exposed their fake marriage.
“Bro..” Andrew spoke up first, all the boys scrolling through their phones and seemingly looking at the same thing. Lewis knew he had to stop himself from reading on after the author wrote that he should divorce her because she’s ‘unable to give him a family’. He quickly locked Nadia’s phone and ran a hand down his face before he stood up to make a few calls.
With her head on Amara’s chest, Nadia wept as she struggled to keep it all together. She did not want to show her vulnerability to her friends so quickly but seeing the headline broke everything she had worked on to be private. Natalia moved Nadia’s hair back as she continued to rub her back.
Charlotte stood with her phone in her hand, immediately shutting down anything that was objectively negative about Nadia. Every single time she heard her friend sob, her heart broke. After what felt like hours of her friends consoling her and encouraging her to stay strong without bugging her for any information, she sat up and wiped her tears.
“Not to chase you guys away but I really wanna see Lewis right now.” She chuckled as she wiped her tears from her cheeks. The girls laughed at their friend’s ability to smile after something so terrible.
“We’ll let him know to bring up some water.” Amara nodded and stood up, giving Nadia’s hand a squeeze. Once her friends left, Nadia began pacing around the bedroom, the New York skyline still shining ever so bright although it was nearing 3 am.
She heard the door and she watched as Lewis walked in with a water bottle in his hand, his ring catching light from the ceiling lights. His eyes landed on her, cheeks hollowed with her trying to breathe as easily as she could, her hands shaking.
Eyes connected and neither of them had to say a word. He brought her head into his chest as her arms went around his waist. Nadia sighed softly as she leaned into her husband’s warmth. “I’ve sorted everything out, baby. You don’t have to worry about anything else.” He spoke, keeping his hands still as his voice vibrated through his chest.
Nadia sniffled before she spoke. “Thanks,” her voice quivered. “I didn’t want you to find out like this. Wanted to be the first one to tell you, you know.” She chuckled through her tears.
“None of this is your fault, love. Please don’t blame yourself, you have done nothing wrong and we’ll get through this together.” Lewis said. “We could try find out who-”
“It was my mom and Rea.” She deadpanned, lifting her head to look in his eyes. His eyebrows furrowed at the quickness of her revelation. “Nads.” He started.
All she did was look at the bed and he took that as a hint to sit on it and she followed. “I’ve only ever told my mother and Rea about my…infertility. Not even my friends. My mom found out through a fight we were having during high school.”
She took a breather and continued. “I completely changed my career path to become a teacher because if I couldn’t become a mom myself, I could be that teacher for my kids. I love those kids more than anything in the world, Lewis. When you introduced me to Willow and Kaiden, my heart was already attached the second I saw them so if we didn’t work out, I was going to feel like absolute shit.”
“To do this properly. Lewis, I am infertile and I won’t be able to have kids with you in the future because of my shitty anatomy.” Nadia finished with a smile gracing her face, always finding a way to lift the mood.
He didn’t want to smile but it crept it’s way on his face. Lewis reached his hand to hold hers. “Love, you are something else,” he chuckled. “I never want you to worry about me in this circumstance, I still want you for you. For everything. You’re my family and I never regret signing those papers, Nads.” Lewis finished, his gaze softening as she looked at him.
The tension in the air eased but there was still a lingering feeling hanging. This was an extremely vulnerable moment for Nadia and she was feeling all types of emotions. Lewis didn’t want to invade on her feelings and make her uncomfortable as she dealt with all this. She deserved the best, if she asked, he would give her the universe. He’d build a kingdom and worship her as his queen.
Feeling her manicured finger poke as his exposed shoulder, he snapped out of it to see a smile on her face. “I thought I lost you there, bruv.” Nadia smiled, her eyes swirling with so many emotions.
A beat or two passed.
“I love you.” Lewis blurted out.
Lewis Hamilton wasn’t someone who usually got nervous. He was learning to express his emotions to people around him and was confident in himself at most times. Now was one of those time where he felt his stomach become queasy, his hands suddenly feeling sweaty and he swore he felt the world had stopped spinning.
Nadia was taken aback at his sudden confession but never showed it on her face. If anything, she felt as if Cupid shot her with a heart shaped arrow. Her body felt warm and relaxed, the butterflies swarming as if her crush just looked at her and smiled. Her cheeks felt tight as she full on grinned.
“I love you too.” She confessed and Lewis swore his world became brighter as she spoke those magical three words. He couldn’t believe it. “Say it again. Please say it again, my love.” His accent became a tad bit stronger as he spoke, his large hands enveloping her smaller ones.
Nadia laughed. “I love you, Lewis.”
“You have no idea how long I have wanted to tell you that. I love you so much, Nadia Thandeka Hamilton and never forget that, my angel.” He scooped her up into a hug, falling back into the bed in a giggling mess.
-
Nadia’s hands were stuck in her hoodie pockets when she stepped out of the bathroom, her face feeling fresh as ever as she had just taken off a new face mask she had wanted to try out.
Los Angeles was a place she would definitely call home if she chose to settle down in that very moment. The couple had flown over after two days of friendship therapy and a crazy amount of ice cream as a way to distract her from touching her phone.
The woman had no clue of what was going on surrounding her and that damned article but one thing she did know was that her ears were not deceiving her.
She had known that Lewis always woke up before her as a force of habit but he had vowed to not wake her up until she was ready to. She even moved her hood to hear properly.
The faint sounds of Minnie Riperton’s ‘Lovin’ You’ rang throughout the house speakers but the volume was clearly amplified in the living room. With her eyebrows furrowed, her ugg boot clad feet slowly led her through the hallway and right downstairs.
Her breath felt like it had been snatched out of her as she looked at the current state of her living room. Pink balloons were scattered across the roof and the floor, two bouquets of tiger lilies sat pretty on the coffee table along with several, several boxes from all her favourite brands. From small boxes to large bags beautifully arranged with a small note sat within the bouquet.
“Oh my god…” Nadia’s hand was over her mouth as she walked further into her living room, not even noticing that Lewis entered from the kitchen with his hands behind his back. “Hope you like it, love. Wanted to make it perfect for you.” He licked his lips as he watched his wife glide her hand all over the bags.
“Like it? I’m absolutely speechless, Lewis.” She softly spoke. “You’ve just…oh my days. You make me feel like a princess.” Nadia turned to look at him. “You tellin me all I have to do is tell you that I love you?” She joked.
“You existing is enough for me.” He spoke. “Boy.” She laughed. “Tryna make me blush knowing damn well I can’t.”
“Well, yes and no.” He scrunched his nose then chuckled with her. A beat or two passed before she spoke. “Let me say thank you.” She tilted her head as her hand went under his simple black shirt.
“Oh?” Lewis expressed. She didn’t have to say anything except look up at him and give him a smirk then he was ready to go.
“Say less, Mrs Hamilton.”

“I think it’s best if we end things now before we end up hating each other.”
You blankly stared at him expecting him to further elaborate. He didn’t though.
“So—that’s it?”
Malcom shrugged his shoulders then sighed. He opened his mouth to speak but nothing came out. It wasn’t like this was a shock because you’d been distant with each other for the last month or so and hadn’t really spent too much time together, but this was the natural cycle of your relationship. You’d have months of hot and heavy behavior where neither of you wanted to be far from each other. Then you’d have months of distance where you still kept up appearances for a relationship but being up under each other was more a turn off. You’d thought this was another roundabout cycle of that. Malcom stood from the table.
“What if I disagree?”
Malcom paused, glanced at you for a few moments then slowly sat back down. “Come on Y/N. Don’t make this harder than it already is.”
“Is there someone else?”
Malcom didn’t respond to that; he finished his drink then pulled out his phone to answer a call but hesitated.
“Is that her?”
“There’s no one else, Y/N. I just think maybe we need a break. I think we’ve hit a rut and need some time apart.”
This was unbelievable. He was the one to chase you. He was the one to put in the work to cuff you up and now he was the one who wanted to break up. Malcom stood again then rubbed the back of his hand against your cheek. “Stay beautiful.”
With that he walked out of the café leaving you at the table to wonder what the fuck had happened. You weren’t used to being the one broken up with. It felt odd being on this side of the table.
“Well, ain’t that something.”
When you’d told your friends later that night, they were equally shocked, but their sentiments were the same, “fuck him.” They went into overdrive showcasing all the things you could do now that you didn’t have a boyfriend and though you knew you were lined up to enjoy life more you still had to be real with yourself, you weren’t happy about the end of your near two-year relationship.
You took the necessary time to nurse your bruised ego and hurt feelings and worked on yourself with a ton of self-care, therapy sessions, a whole body and mind reset and plenty of holistic care. After 4 months you’d dropped twenty pounds, eradicated the hurt feelings and patched up your ego. The night you and your friends went clubbing to help you get your groove back and a new body to fall under, there Malcom was.
What started at flirtatious looks across the club turned to him buying you drinks, dedicating songs from the DJ, a couple dances and then a trip back to your place for what you could only classify as a drunken mistake.
However, said drunken mistake continued to happen again and again and again. One night turned to two, then three and four, until before you’d realized it, you’d hooked up every other night for two weeks straight. So, the agreement was no strings. Whenever either of you felt an itch, you’d meet up and do filthy things to one another all in the name of pleasure and escapism. Was it fun? Absolutely. Was he good in bed? Definitely. Did you see it going much longer? No.
Sure enough, after 4 months things fizzled, and you were the one to leave this time. That brought much needed points to your ego, but it gave you peace of mind more. You were over it and ready to move on. It was true what people said, time heals all wounds, and everything runs its course.
~~~~~~~~~~
-5 Years Later-
“Yeeeeeeeees!”
You jumped up and down watching as Lewis’ car sped past nabbing the P2 placement.
“Yeah baby!”
You and your friends exchanged hugs, all of you ecstatic for his victory. You turned back and watched the jumbo screen and tried to hold back your tears. It had been a long season and he still had plenty of it to go. This season was a major struggle with results Lewis didn’t like. This was one of the first semi pleasing finishes. You knew though he’d taken 2nd he wouldn’t be one hundred percent happy about it because Lewis only accepted number one. He’d be the hardest on himself today.
Not wanting to wait anymore to congratulate him, you made your way to the team are where you planned on waiting for him. Seeing the celebration was well underway, you exchanged hugs with most of the crew on the team.
“Maybe he’ll be easier to manage tonight,” Toto said.
You snorted because you both knew that wasn’t going to be the case. He knew he’d be just as hard on himself for a P2 placement as he would to not have placed at all. The look you exchanged said he was thinking the same thing you were. You both chuckled then.
“He’s lucky to have you, Y/N. You get him in a way not many do.”
You smiled as pride emulated from you. It had taken work, work that you both had excruciatingly put in over the three-year duration of your relationship. He’d taken the time and care to learn you by understanding your quirks and ticks. He took the care to learn what triggered you and your preferred love language. Even though both of you had equally felt as if your relationship wouldn’t work because of how much work it was when you factored in both your schedules neither of you gave up.
“When I said I was all in, I meant it, Y/N. I’m all fucking in.”
You smiled at the memory of his words the first time you’d made love for the first time. You’d taken a whole different route with him because you didn’t want to appear easy. You’d made him wait a whole 6 months before you let him take you to bed. In that time, you really got to know each other and build a level of trust between you that laid the foundation for where you were now.
You saw Lewis rolling up and seconds after the car stopped the crew stormed. Their cheers were deafening, and their antics only made you laugh. They clapped him on his back, shook him, and shouted numerous congratulations. When his eyes locked on yours, your belly flipped. The look in his eyes said it all. He smiled and nodded to those around him as he made his way to you. Those to the back of the huddle got his intention and paved a way for him to jog over to you. Lifting you into his arms, you wrapped your legs around his waist and hugged him tightly.
“Congratulations baby!”
He squeezed you so tightly you just wanted to melt into him and call his body your new home.
“Thank you, love.”
Your eyes met again just before you pressed your lips to his. What was to be a sweet, demur kiss quickly morphed into something more, something frenzied. His hands roamed up to your backside and the soft nudge you felt between your bodies said someone wanted attention and they wanted it now. Lewis groaned as he nibbled your bottom lip.
“Woah, let’s save that part of the celebration for later,” Toto muttered into Lewis’ ear with his hand on his shoulder.
Embarrassment filled you as you realized you had the attention of damn near everyone around. Some looked as if they knew just where this was about to go, others looked amused while a few were slightly jealous or an emotion similar to it. Lewis placed you back on your feet, but you kept your body pressed to his.
“Gonna be able to get him under control?”
Lewis grinned then kissed your jaw right by your ear.
“That’s your job.”
He then turned and walked away with his crew to get to the after-race procedure. Before he disappeared, he turned then winked at you and it was then you saw just how hard he was, and that race suit was not helping one bit. Did he care? Nope, the smug bastard looked proud.
Sure enough, three hours later his “hard, bulging print” was all over social media. Everywhere was referring to it that way and everyone was going wild for it. They thought it didn’t leave much to the imagination and fueled all the rumors that he was in fact blessed by every mythological god that was ever worshiped.
“Oh, this one is funny,” your best friend Sonja began holding her phone to her face, “I have no idea how his girlfriend takes that. From the looks of him, I’d say he’s at least an eight incher—at least.”
You pinched your lips. They were not far from the truth at all.
“Wow, this one. Gah-damn! Sir Lewis only got knighted once but I think he qualifies for a second because that’s a whole nother grown ass man down there.”
That one had you busting out with a laugh. The three of you were cackling for quite a while until Deja read another.
“He’s a shower and a grower. RIP to his girl’s holes.”
You clapped your hand over your mouth as your eyes rounded as big as the moon in the sky. “Oh my god!”
“Girl don’t even act surprised. RIP to you.”
You rolled your eyes. “Obviously my holes are just fine.”
“So you say.”
You giggled because you knew you’d told them about the lengthy adjustment period when you guys first started having sex. There was definitely an adjustment period and plenty of weeks maybe months where you were left sore.
“That man knew what he was doing,” Deja said.
You agreed. There was no misinterpreting his intentions. Lewis was the kind of person who didn’t care about what people said about him. He didn’t care much about his image and really didn’t care who thirsted or who didn’t. He only cared that you never misunderstood things with him. You made your hard limits clear and he’d respected them ever since. You didn’t hate the thirst he received, didn’t hate the fangirls and guys who thought he was as hot as you thought he was. It was the same with him when it came to you.
“You better get the thirsties under control.”
“Naw, no need. They can thirst, shit me too!”
The party was getting louder now, and everyone was surely having a good time. You still hadn’t seen Lewis since leaving the paddock a few hours ago. You’d split up, him to fulfill after-race obligations mainly interviews and photos and you to get ready for the party. He had a whole week before his next race and after this win, you’d be damned if he didn’t actually celebrate it.
Pulling out your phone, you texted.
MSG: Are you here baby?
You took the glass that Sonja was holding out to you and took a big sip. You phone vibrated but before you could look at it you felt an arm wrap around your waist. Smiling, you turned expecting to see Lewis but who you saw had you looking and feeling like you’d stuck your hand in fire.
“Hey beautiful,” Malcom said with a wide smile.
“Uh—Ma—Malcom?”
“The one and only. Funny seeing you here.”
Registering that his hand was around your waist, you pulled away taking a few steps away from him. The look on Malcom’s face shifted to confusion but quickly back to a cocky grin.
“Long time no see. What’s it been? A year or two?”
“More like three but who’s counting. You good?”
He nodded as he took a sip from his glass, “Yeah, yeah. Just—”. Malcom to a step to you closing the space you’d just opened. His head dipped to your ear. “I miss you.”
You leaned back and looked him over. His eyes were unreadable. Could he have been telling the truth? Maybe. Did you care? Not really.
“Uh--.”
“You don’t miss me? I was thinking about you the other night and how we used to get down and I almost called you. I wanted to.”
“Malcom--.”
His hand came around your waist again pulling you closer. You could tell he’d had a few.
“Maybe we could try again,” he added.
“Do we have a problem?”
You peeled his hand open and pried his arm off of you. As he reached for you again, another arm tightly wrapped around your waist pulling you backward. Your body knew who it was and the tension that was coursing through you dissipated, and a calm washed over you.
His voice was low, unwavering, and devoid of emotion, but his touch was possessive. His hand dipped lower resting just right atop your pubis. Malcom’s eyes widened then his brow crooked as his eyes fell to where Lewis’ hand rested. When he clenched his jaw, you knew he got the message.
“Problem?”
“Yeah. Looked like you were lost or something,” Lewis added.
Malcom and Lewis stared at each other. Whereas Malcom’s eyes radiated annoyance, Lewis looked calm and so goddamn smug that your belly flipped. It was so sexy how in control he always was.
“Not lost. Y/N and I go way back. I just wanted to get her to my room and catch up like old times.”
You cringed. He did not have to say all that. Anyone with a brain could decipher what that really meant. Lewis’ fingers tightened against your body, and you knew his annoyance was raising. He wasn’t a visibly jealous man ninety percent of the time. He kept his jealousy quiet, and under wraps and never let it out until you were alone. Right now, the tightness of how he held you was the only visible sign of it.
“Em, Malcom and I used to date—until we didn’t and moved on,” you clarified wrapping your arms behind you and holding Lewis as close as he was holding you.
Malcom’s jaw clenched again.
“Yeah, 2 years, then a couple months of—ya’ know,” Malcom said with a wink at Lewis.
“Oh. Got it. Oh wait, baby is this the one who couldn’t--.” Lewis asked drifting off to stick his tongue out and flick it.
You pinched your lips in an effort to keep the snort at bay. One thing with Lewis he’d always resort to pettiness to put someone in their place.
“Ah, I see. Well enjoy the party, Malcom.”
Lewis turned to you then dipped his lips to your ear. “I missed you.”
“I missed you too.”
He led you away keeping his hand around your waist. When you were a few feet away but still within eyesight of Malcom he turned you, pressed your back against the pillar then kissed you. Dipping his tongue into your mouth, you moaned and held him close. You knew what he was doing but didn’t care. You had your moments of recklessness too.
You danced, drank, laughed, and partied to your heart’s delight. With every drink you had, your freak meter went higher and higher. You couldn’t keep your hands off of Lewis and didn’t care who wanted to watch. With your back against his chest, you ground your hips circling yourself on his hardened dick. Lewis groaned.
“Be careful, princess.”
“Why? We both know you don’t care walking around with your dick print on display.”
He laughed then nuzzled his face into your neck. “I want you so bad," he mumbled into your ear before he bit down on your earlobe.
A few seconds later, he stood keeping your ass firmly pressed against his crotch. “I’ll text you.”
He slipped away disappearing in the crowd as you swayed feeling the slickness between your legs. Your horniess had reached critical levels.
-Lewis-
You were so well suited for him that every time you were near, he automatically responded. It didn’t matter where you were or who you were with. One spark was all it took. He feared in the beginning that something that burned so hot, so furious and so wild would only end badly but three years in and there was no sign this trolley was going off the rails. He was sure, you were his forever.
The way you brought out his reckless side was dangerous and the way you knew it and capitalized on it was scandalous. Fucking with you he’d end up on the front of The Sun with his pants around his ankles and balls deep inside of you.
He chuckled to himself remembering the types of places you’d had to sneak off to in order to get a quick nut. The dressing room of The Graham Norton Show, behind a tent at Coachella, all over multiple paddocks, inside his racecar, underneath a jacked-up car while hiding from the crew, a dark corner of a club, a dark park, in the countryside after taking a break from riding horses, in the dessert after dirt biking. The places were endless.
As he looked around for the perfect spot to disappear with you, he tried to keep his desires in check. When he peeped into a private show room, he saw that same dude from before sitting there with his phone in hand.
“Op, my bad.”
Backing out he continued his search.
“I know who you are.”
“What?”
“I know who you are. Everyone knows who you are. Everyone also knows that you fuck out girls and toss em’ aside. You think that’s right for Y/N?”
His brow cocked and his head angled to the side. Taking a step to him he took a breath. “So you think you know me.”
“Look I don’t give a shit that you’re some hot shot driver and celebrity. I don’t give a fuck bout any of that. I only care about Y/N.”
“Now? She told me about the last relationship she was in. Told me how you broke up with her. Now you’re here what—playing the good guy? The guy who wants to save her from bad ol’ me?”
“We both know you’re not serious about her. Let her go.”
“Ah, I get it. You think if I’m out the picture she’ll come running back to you?”
“I know it. You’re just a rich and fancy distraction. You know she used to call me daddy.”
He smirked. This guy’s audacity was ridiculous. Just then he felt the evil tinge on his pettiness, and he was powerless to resist it.
“Cool.”
It was all he needed to get out before he walked back down the hall he’d come from and back to you.
~~~~~~~
-Y/N-
It had been almost fifteen minutes since he’d disappeared and the longer, he was gone the hornier you became.
MSG: Baby let’s go back to the hotel. I don’t wanna wait anymore.
You knew he’d be able to read the whine in your text.
A pair of lips latched onto your neck almost making you flinch.
“Mmm, let’s go.”
“I found the perfect spot. Come on princess.”
Lewis bit your neck as he tweaked your nipple. You cried out because that was all it took for some wetness to turn into a waterfall. Allowing him to lead you through the strip club themed party, you held on tightly to his hand. Up a flight of stairs and into a dark and neon lit hallway is where he led you. Before he continued, he pressed you against a wall so you could feel how hard he was.
“Do you want me as much as I want you?”
You nodded and made a move to kiss him, but he pulled away and yanked you after him. Walking into a room that slightly darker and lit with neon lights you barely registered anything before Lewis had you pressed against the wall with his tongue down your throat. You moaned and rubbed yourself against him using his clothes for friction against our hard and aching nipples.
“I love the way your lips taste baby.”
You wrapped your arms around him and grabbed onto his perfectly defined ass.
“What if someone--.”
Lewis pressed a button on the wall. “No one in, no one out.”
You smirked and went in to kiss him but again he backed away and went to the row of cushioned seats against the mirrored wall. His legs were wide open as he watched you.
“You want a show baby?”
He groaned, licked his lips, and patted his lap. You shook your head.
“You have to beg for it.”
Prancing over to him you swayed your body to the hypnotic music accentuating your curves with every move. Lewis’ eyes drank you in as you kept yours on him. Turning your back to him you swayed your ass, bent forward, touched your toes, and peeked at him through your open legs.
“Fuck, that ass.”
“Mmm, you wanna fuck this ass?”
“Do you want me to fuck your ass tonight, princess?”
His heavy hand landed atop your ass cheek making you moan.
“I want you, Lewis.”
“Only me?”
“Only fucking you.”
“Come and prove it.”
You approached him standing over one of his thighs then continued your dance. Lewis’ hand roamed up your leg and thigh to skim over your sex.
“You’re so wet baby.”
For a few moments his fingers played with you, circling your clit then rubbing back and forth until he pinched it between his fingers. You were moaning loudly now and too much in need. You sat on his lap then kissed him. Lewis cupped your breasts through the corset top you wore and sucked in a breath.
“Do you feel how hard I am babygirl?”
You nodded. without any more words you slipped off his lap onto your knees between his legs then undid his pants. Like a confined beast his dick sprang free nearly slapping you in the face.
“Fuck!”
“Mmm baby all this for me?”
“Do you want it all?”
“Every--. You tipped your tongue out and licked him from base to tip. “Single.” Then swirled your tongue around his swollen and leaking head. “Inch.” You then slipped his bulbous head into your mouth and sucked not going easy on the pressure.
“Awwwwww Fuck!”
Lewis’ head lulled back as you sank lower and lower until he was nestled snuggled in your throat.
“Mmmmm.”
“Aaaaaah yes, Y/N. How that dick taste?”
“Better than candy daddy.”
Peeping at him you saw his lips quick into a vicious smile. Before you could ask him what was going through his head, his hand locked your head right where it was as his hips lifted sending every inch he was blessed with down your throat. Relaxing, you focused on not gagging and moaned. Lewis sucked in a breath then panted.
“You suck this dick so well baby. Look at me.”
You did as he asked, locking eyes with him and saw his intent. Relaxing your jaw, you opened as wide as you could hooking your lips over your teeth so there would be no accidents and allowed him to fuck your mouth. With every plunge Lewis hissed and every withdraw he groaned. His thrusts started slow, then sped up until he was near brutally face fucking you. Taking everything he gave you added a few tongue swirls as you nudged forward to meet each of his thrusts. When he hit a high pitch, you knew you had him.
However, before you could go in for the one hit quitter, Lewis pulled himself from your mouth, pulled you up then tossed you onto the table that was in the middle of the room. In seconds he was on you kissing you like his life depended on it. Once you were breathless from his kiss, Lewis’ lips roamed your body bringing his focus to your breasts. His teeth made their mark as he bit them through the leather of your corset and though it wasn’t direct contact your body didn’t seem to care. The reaction was the same.
Your back arched and his lips dipped under your skirt. It didn’t take him long to slip your panties to the side and lazily lick from ass to clit.
“Fuck!”
Clamping your thighs shut you locked him right where he was. That didn’t stop him though. Lewis easily pried them apart and pressed them back to the table as he attacked your clit with fast licks that nearly sent you shooting into the sky. You were so close.
“Fuck baby. I’m so close.”
Lewis moaned then slurped your flesh. Your thighs instinctively flexed in an attempt to shut but Lewis wasn’t having it. Showcasing his strength, he kept you right where he wanted and pushed you closer to the edge. When you felt him dip his tongue inside of you your belly flipped, muscled bunched and skin prickled with goosebumps as if the room was cold when it was in fact not. It was sweltering with the heat of your shared passion.
“This pussy tastes so good. Whose is it?”
“Yours!”
Again, his lips found your clit and he sucked. Just like that it was over. The pressure inside of you burst through making your thrash across the table. Grabbing his head, you kept his face still as you flicked your hips smearing your pussy across his mouth that greedily slurped, licked and flicked against you.
“Fuck, fuck, fuck, Lewis!”
The table you were on rattled as if an earthquake was passing through when in fact it was just the aftereffects of your release.
“Mmm. My pussy tastes like heaven,” Lewis said as he stood then slapped his dick against your sensitive clit. A breathy gasp was all you could muster.
He pressed forward laying his mighty length over your pubis. It reached to your bellybutton. Lewis circled his hips rubbing his balls against your soaking sex.
“Stop teasing me.”
“Teasing? What do you want precious?”
“You.”
He slapped his dick against your clit again and your back arched.
“Mmm.”
“What-.” Thwack. “Do-.” Thwack. “You-.” Thwack. “Want-.” Thwack.
With every heavy slap of his dick against your clit the more stars you saw. Your body was feeling so greedy that your words failed you, so you rocked your hips against him hoping to coax him to give you what you both wanted.
“Fuck you’re killing me, but I know you’re worse off. Tell me.”
“I want you to fuck me now!”
“How do you want me to fuck you?”
“Hard!”
“Are you sure princess? You won’t be sitting right for a few days.”
“Fuck me until I can’t breathe, fuck me until I can’t think or speak. Fuck me, Lewis!”
His lips smirked deviously again, and his eyes looked into the mirror behind you. Lewis dipped to your ear, bit it then whispered.
“We have an audience.”
Before his words could register, he rose then flicked his hips forward so forcefully your entire body jerked when he joined you with him.
“Aaaah!”
He didn’t wait. Pulling back, he did it again and again and again. Each time the loud squelch that echoed in the room should have been embarrassing but it wasn’t. You weren’t ashamed of how wet he got you. Lewis continued to thrust into you with brute force nudging that secret spot inside of you that tensed more and more with every touch.
“Fuck, this pussy always swallows me up. So—fucking—greedy!”
He emphasized each word with a back breaking thrust that sent your eyes to the back of your head.
“You’re gonna cum, aren’t you? I can feel it. Cum for me princess. Cum all over this dick!”
On command your body released and clenched around every inch he had buried inside of you.
“Aaaaaah!”
Lewis groaned but never relented. His thrusts sped for a few moments before he pulled out entirely and flipped you onto your stomach. With your ass in the air, Lewis rubbed his dick right where he’d asked if you wanted him to fuck. It was then you grasped his meaning telling you that you wouldn’t be sitting right for a few days. Instead of fear, excitement filled you. Lewis’ fingers dipped inside of you coming away with the evidence of your orgasm then rubbed it on you.
As he prepped you with one then two and finally three fingers you moaned and panted as you got wetter and wetter.
“I can’t wait anymore baby. Fuck me.”
“God, I love you princess.”
“I love you.”
He dipped to your ear again. “Do you know who’s watching?”
“I don’t give a fuck.”
Lewis chuckled then joined your bodies again, slowly, inch by inch until he was wedged so tightly inside of you, that you almost felt like you were going to break apart. His groan was strained, and his grip was tight on your hips.
“Fucking hell,” Lewis gritted out.
He pulled back then thrust forward and you whimpered. Hands down Lewis was the best you’d ever had. You’d found your sexual match in every way and every time you were together it felt like there was no one else in the world but the two of you.
“Ready baby?”
You nodded. He sped his hips and flicked steadily forward making your back arch from the angle. Your hand instantly flew to your clit and that was where it remained. When Lewis had a fast and steady speed his thrusts intensified.
“Oh my god! Oh fuck. Yes baby. Fuck me. Right there. Just like that!”
As his hips sped, so did your fingers and soon both of you were chasing your own releases. Lewis grabbed the back of your neck and lifted your head.
“Look!”
Before you, the glass had become see through and on the other side was Malcom watching every single thing that was happening. The rage and fury in his eyes shone brightly like hot coals. He clenched his jaw so tightly you were sure it would shatter but upon every thrust your vision blurred and all you could focus on was Lewis delivering yet another pounding for the record books of your relationship.
“Fuck yes!”
“What do you want him to know princess?”
“Mmm. I love your fucking dick. You feel so fucking good I wanna scream!”
Lewis jackhammered you and took over the work your fingers were doing.
“Aaah!”
“What—else!”
“It’s yours,” you whispered.
Again, Lewis grabbed the back of your neck lifting your head so you looked at Marcus.
“He can’t hear you. Whose pussy is this?”
“Yours!”
“Whose?”
“Yours daddy! it’s fucking yours. You fuck this pussy so right. Just you!”
“Look at him as you fucking cum for me and only me. Look at him so he can memorize your face, look at him so he knows his fucking place and knows why you’ll never leave me, why I’ll never leave you. It’s you and me till the goddamn end!”
You whined as your body began to shake. Through tear-streaked eyes you looked at Marcus.
“I’m gonna cum!”
“You’re gonna cum who?”
“Dadddddy!”
You screamed and it turned into screech as you lost all control over your body. Lewis continued pounding into you for a few more moments before he also came filling you up like a twinkie.
“Yes, Y/N! Mmm.”
You were delirious and seeing so many stars you were sure you were floating through space right now. Through your delirium you heard Lewis speak.
“She calls me daddy now!”

hiiiiiiii, 11 + sewis :D
hi!!!!!!! this was literally the first thing that popped into my head so I just ran with it, I hope you like it! 💚
sewis + "This must be a mistake" - send me a prompt!
Lewis returned to his apartment building just before eleven. He’d intentionally slept in, deciding to do his early morning jog at mid-morning instead. Monaco weather was more temperate in October so he would get away with it without suffering too much, unlike in the summer where he would have to make a stop to dip in the sea to cool off.
He smiled at the concierge on duty and was halfway over to the lift when the concierge called out to Lewis, stopping him in his tracks.
“Pardon me Monsieur Hamilton, these came for you while you were out.” The concierge delicately lifted a bouquet of flowers from under his desk. It wasn’t ostentatiously massive, but it wasn’t small either, whoever sent it clearly went to some kind of trouble.
“For me, are you sure?” Lewis even pointed at himself just to make sure there wasn’t another Lewis Hamilton in the building that was due a bouquet of flowers.
“Oui, I know the florist in Nice they came from.”
“Alright then,” Lewis went over to the desk, as he accepted the flowers he asked if there was anything else, and the concierge just shook his head. “Thanks, have a good day.”
“And you!” Lewis strolled over to the lift with the flowers nestled in the crook of his elbow and he pressed the polished gold button for his floor. Thankfully for his sake no one else stepped in along the way up or was in the corridor when Lewis exited the lift and walked the few short paces to his door.
The apartment was empty thanks to Angela offering to take Roscoe and Coco for a walk round the marina, so Lewis bolted the safety chain and went into the kitchen to look for a vase. It took him five cupboards to find one, clear glass shaped in a perfect cylinder that he half-filled with cold water from the kitchen sink.
He assumed the flowers were from Mercedes, a small token of their congratulations on his sixth championship win. And it made sense for them to get a florist in Nice to deliver flowers to Lewis as opposed to him getting them at the factory leaving Lewis to worry about the logistics of getting a bouquet through the French-Monaco border.
The flowers had been wrapped in brown paper as opposed to plastic and was tied together with a small red bow. Lewis didn’t know much about flowers but he recognised the blush pink peonies and light purple dahlias as he gently put the bouquet in the vase, small white and blue flowers filled out the rest of the bouquet alongside some greenery. It was too beautiful to be left in the kitchen, so Lewis carried the vase through to the living room and set it down on the coffee table, and he picked the white card off the plastic clip to read it.
Congratulations on your sixth world title
Call me when you get these
Seb x
Lewis almost dropped the small white card and fell backwards onto the sofa, but somehow he both stayed upright and kept a hold of the small white card.
“This has to be a mistake.” He muttered to himself as he examined the writing more closely. He read it another three or four times, each time feeling more convinced that the handwriting could only have been Sebastian’s.
So why did he sign the card off with a kiss?
Lewis frantically looked around for his phone, only for it to still be in his pocket. He quickly found Seb in his contacts and pressed the green dial button, pressing his phone firmly against his ear.
With each passing ring Lewis’ heart started to beat faster and faster, to the point he was worried it would fly out of his chest and land somewhere in the Mediterranean Sea.
The flowers didn’t make any sense. Seb had sought out Lewis in the paddock in Austin to say congratulations with a bright smile and a hug as warm as the midday sun, so why did he feel a need to send them? Lewis had unknowingly started pacing by the time Seb picked up.
“Lewis!” It didn’t feel right, but Lewis could swear that Sebastian sounded nervous. “Hi.”
“Hey man,” Lewis tried his best to sound like nothing in the world was bothering him, even though he was still clinging into the small card for dear life. “Listen um, this might sound a bit weird but…” He paused to briefly glance over at the flowers. Whoever they were from, they were beautiful. “Did you…” Lewis could feel beads of sweat start to form on the back of his neck, he’d never felt so ridiculous in all his life. “Did you have flowers sent to my apartment?” The words flew out of his mouth so fast it almost didn’t sound like a proper sentence.
“Yes, I did.” Yet somehow Seb managed to make sense of them. “If you hate them I can go back to the florist and ask for something different.” Lewis could hear the forced smile in Sebastian’s voice, he hated it.
“They’re gorgeous Seb.” He said softly, as his legs finally gave way and he sat down on the edge of the sofa. “You wrote on the card to call you when I got them, so…”
Where did you begin when the man you had fought so hard for the championship twelve months ago had sent flowers for another championship win a year later.
“I’m in Nice.” Seb said quietly, like it was a secret meant just for them both.
“Why?” None of the past ten minutes made any sense to Lewis whatsoever.
“Because I couldn’t just turn up unannounced with flowers without explaining myself.”
“Why would you have to explain yourself?” Lewis’ brow was furrowed so tightly it was starting to hurt. He heard Sebastian take a deep breath on the other end of the line.
“I talked myself into telling you slowly, first the flowers, then the phone call, then…” He paused for so long Lewis was briefly terrified that Seb had hung up, and that Lewis would either have to wait until Brazil to speak to Sebastian or corner him in Switzerland to find out what on Earth was going on.
“Then what? Seb?”
“I…” Sebastian’s voice cracked completely in two. “I love you, Lewis.”
With the concentration Lewis needed to keep a hold of his phone, the card that had came with the flowers slowly fluttered to the ground. He watched it delicately land, and felt sad when the side with Seb’s handwriting was now face down away from view.
“You don’t need to say anything, you don’t even have to talk to me again if that’s what you want. I just…” Seb let out a long shaky breath. “I just wanted to let you know.”
Lewis’s back fell against the sofa, forcing a small puff of air from his lungs.
“You love me?”
“Yes.”
“Like…” Suddenly almost every word in the English language had evaporated from Lewis’ head. What did you say, when the guy you’d spent years racing against suddenly said they were in love with you?
“Like I want to do everything in the world with you, and more.” Seb’s voice wasn’t just dripping with sincerity, but something even deeper.
As Lewis sat dumfounded on the sofa, he didn’t think about the practicalities of what this meant, or that he should have started packing by now. He wondered, for the first time, what it would be like to kiss Seb.
And he realised very quickly that he really wanted to find out.
“Get over here then.”
On the other end of the line, he heard a relieved sigh and Sebastian’s trademark grin in his voice.
“I’ll be twenty minutes.”

British Grand Prix Review
In a weekend of changes, the one constant we had, the Grand Prix, turned out to be the one we least expected, with major drama occurring right at the front!
Let’s get straight to the biggest talking point! It was the climax of two drivers being overly aggressive on Lap 1, and has left both teams overstating their sides of the story! Both sides had a part to play in the end result, but the blame does lie slightly more on Hamilton, whether it was worth a penalty is up for debate, I think given it cost Verstappen any result, the FIA felt they had to penalise Lewis! Max could have left more room on the apex, and allowed Lewis more room going into the corner, to avoid him understeering. However, it was Hamilton who made the dive, and simply could not stop the car from understeering, as he missed the apex by half a metre, causing the contact with Max. He was never ahead going into the corner, and at the point of contact was well behind him. In closing, the teams have made a bigger deal out of this than it really should be, as you would expect, and abuse on social media by fans from both sides, but especially racially against Lewis, is despicable!
Coming into this weekend Mercedes made improvements to the car, with a raft of upgrades, but I think it was choosing a low downforce set up that helped them the most. Hamilton nailed qualifying, well ahead of Max on pace, but lost out at the start in the Sprint race, despite trying his all. The low downforce was what kept Lewis in the hunt on Lap 1 of the Grand Prix on Sunday, and knowing how strong Red Bull’s race pace was, Hamilton knew it was his only chance for the win, which led to what we saw. Who knows how it would have played out with Max still in the race, but in this scenario, Lewis drove superbly, despite not looking great in the first stint, he closed on Leclerc in the closing stages, to take another home win! It was a typical Bottas race really, not on pace with his teammate, and even struggling to beat Norris at some points! He played the team game, which is his biggest aid in keeping that seat! Going to Hungary, Red Bull are still a threat, so Mercedes just needs to keep the pressure on!
Talking of pressure, Red Bull looked like a team under pressure! Verstappen raced Lap 1, unsurprisingly, like a driver not in the championship, rather than a championship leader, which played its part in the crash that occurred! Then when the accident happened, the team imploded! The entire team acted like drama queens over the crash, acting as though Lewis did it on purpose, and that it was a rookie error, when it was in fact just a small Lap 1 mistake. I hope they calm down soon, as this could really derail their season, if they keep on getting stressed over very little! There was no better evidence of the mess the team was in after Lap 1, than the strategy of Perez, which was totally abysmal! They cost themselves a spot right inside the points, and did the petty thing of costing themselves points, to make sure Hamilton didn’t get fastest lap!
As if the chaos between the top two teams wasn’t enough, we then saw the best race from Ferrari possibly since 2019, as Leclerc barely missed out on a win for the team. After taking the lead on Lap 1, he controlled the restart, and had excellent pace on the mediums, with the dirty air stopping any advances by Hamilton. Their pace on the hard’s was also very competitive, better than anyone except Lewis, who showed what he could really do as he closed down on Charles. You have to really feel for Ferrari, they did deserve the win, and without those engine issues today, he could have got it done! Who knows if they will get another chance like this in 2021, but I think many people hope they will! Sainz fought back well from the contact in the Sprint race, and could have battled with Norris, however, just couldn’t quite pass Ricciardo in the end. At least they have gained on McLaren!
Talking of McLaren, what could have been for Norris, if he hadn’t of had that slow pitstop. It wouldn’t have been easy to hold off Bottas, but he isn’t exactly a passing master! Ordinarily the team’s pace would have looked absolutely stellar, yet with how well Ferrari went, it was kind of overlooked! Given what has happened to Lando this past week, he coped with everything very well, and is back up to 3rd in the driver’s championship, which is amazing! Daniel also did his bit for the team, as his pace improved again, and whilst he couldn’t match his teammate, there are signs of a better future for the Aussie!
The rest of the top 10 was almost forgotten in that race, but Alpine used the gains they made in the Sprint Race to great effect, to get a double point score for the team, and close back in on Aston Martin and Alpha Tauri. For Ocon this was desperately needed result, after a horrible few races, even though he is still being beaten by Alonso, who is on fire right now!
It was a mixed day for Aston Martin, Stroll yet again made amazing progress from an underwhelming starting spot, with the team using strategy to get some points! Vettel would have been in the running for points too, however, made a simple mistake under traction, causing the car to spin, thus ruining his race! Even more unnoticed, is that Tsunoda outraced Gasly to get the final point. He finally had a quiet weekend, and it netted a brilliant result. He just needs to keep this going now!
Russell just didn’t have the pace for points here, even with the luck of Verstappen and Perez not scoring, he couldn’t get to 10th, although he was rather close! The philosophy of making a peaky car this year by Williams is working superbly, they just need to reap the rewards of it soon! Alfa Romeo and Haas were not really seen at all in the race, as they came home well outside the points!
The Sprint format was by no means a disaster this weekend, I am just not sure it added that much to the weekend, as whilst we gained some action early on in the weekend, it took something away from the excitement in the build-up for the race! I am glad we tried it, and if it were implemented at tracks where overtaking is possible, it could be alright, however I am not that fussed about it!
Incredibly the Sprint race is not the biggest news coming out of the weekend, as everything is really heating up in the title fight! I expect things will calm down a bit before Hungary, although Red Bull will have a point to prove, and may still be annoyed at Mercedes! This is shaping up to be another classic year for F1!

Brazilian Grand Prix: Ferrari's 'silly' problem is a rather large one

Brazilian Grand Prix: Ferrari's 'silly' problem is a rather large one
It took 20 races, but finally the inevitable happened at Ferrari at the Brazilian Grand Prix. Their drivers Charles Leclerc and Sebastian Vettel collided, taking both out of the race and leaving the team with a rather large problem on their hands.
“Silly” was the word team boss Mattia Binotto used to describe the incident. In his cool, detached way, he deflected a series of opportunities to lay the blame, and said he would reconvene with Vettel and Leclerc at the factory in Maranello this week to analyse what happened, come to some form of judgement and decide on next steps.
The question now for Binotto is what he does next and how he manages what has become the most combustible driver pairing in F1, not so much for the one remaining race this year, but to prevent the internal competition from derailing their 2020 campaign.
Verstappen wins in Brazil as Ferraris collide
How the Brazilian Grand Prix unfolded
Listen: “Come on guys!” Hamilton feels the heat in Brazil
What happened?
The collision occurred on lap 66 of a frenetic race, with five to go, as the two Ferrari drivers found themselves at the back of a queue of cars being held up by Lewis Hamilton’s Mercedes, running second to Red Bull’s Max Verstappen on much older tyres than those behind.
Ahead of them, and behind Hamilton, was Red Bull’s Alexander Albon, who was trying to pass the Mercedes while also holding back Vettel, who in turn had Leclerc behind him.
Leclerc saw an opportunity and dived for the inside of Vettel into Turn One. It was a daring move, aggressive certainly, but absolutely clean. But not one that Vettel was likely to take lying down.
The German had use of the DRS overtaking aid on the run towards Turn Four, and Leclerc moved to the inside to defend his position, leaving just enough room for Vettel – but not an inch more – on the outside.
Approaching the corner, Vettel then moved across on his team-mate, his left rear tyre touching Leclerc’s front right. Although light, the contact broke Leclerc’s suspension and ripped the tyre off the rim, and also gave Vettel a right-rear puncture.
Both cars retired from the race, prompting the final safety car that triggered a bonkers last two laps, in which Mercedes did what technical director James Allison described as “plain dumb” in pitting Hamilton for fresh tyres, the world champion collided with Albon, costing the Anglo-Thai a first podium, and Toro Rosso’s Pierre Gasly finished a wholly unexpected second.
What did the Ferrari drivers say?
Vettel did what he always does in controversial situations and kept his public pronouncements to a limit, repeating the same few sentences in every interview.
Whose fault was it?
“It doesn’t matter now,” Vettel said. “We both didn’t finish the race, which is bad for us as a team.”
What happened?
“There is not so much to say, I think it’s pretty clear. But obviously it’s bitter and a shame for the team to lose both cars. I didn’t have much space on the right. I had a better run out of the chicane and tried to pass and then we touched.”
Vettel is 19 points behind team-mate Leclerc in the drivers’ championship
Leclerc was a little more forthcoming.
“We will have to analyse better the crash,” he said. “I overtook in Turn One, then on the run to Turn Four I closed the door.
“I was aware he was on the outside. I left little space but enough for him and then I think he tried to squeeze me a little bit towards the inside and we were very close so we touched straight away. Very disappointing to end a race like this.”
The stewards – to the surprise of some, given that Vettel had clearly changed his line and instigated a collision – ruled it a racing incident and took no further action.
How did it happen?
How the two Ferrari drivers came to this juncture is a rather longer story than the events of this weekend.
To those on the outside, it was only a matter of time before something like this happened. The pressure inside Ferrari has been building all year as Leclerc has established himself as a star and threatened – and perhaps usurped already – Vettel’s seniority in the team. Vettel, meanwhile, is a proud man who, in the car, is as stubborn as they come when it comes to protecting his competitive position.
All year, Binotto has been doing his best to manage the inevitably tense situation.
Ferrari started the season with Binotto saying Vettel, as the senior driver, would have priority in any “50-50 decisions”, and the first few races passed with a series of team-order calls, the majority in Vettel’s favour.
Vettel’s refusal to move over for Leclerc in Russia eventually played into the hands of race winner Hamilton
Leclerc said he accepted the situation but also that he would do his best to change it. And as soon as the second race in Bahrain, he dominated Vettel and everyone else and was on the way to a superb victory when his engine developed a problem in the closing stages.
Tensions cooled after the first few races, as it became apparent that Ferrari did not have the pace to mount a title challenge, and Vettel established the upper hand as Leclerc’s chances were comprised by a few too many mistakes in qualifying, usually by him, but sometimes also by the team.
But at the French Grand Prix in June, Leclerc turned a corner and went on a run of nine races in which he out-qualified Vettel, while the German continued to make the sort of pressure errors that have blighted his last three years at Ferrari.
Leclerc won twice in Belgium and Italy as Ferrari made a flying start to the second part of the season. In Monza, there was a controversy when Leclerc failed to do his part of a prearranged team strategy for the drivers to give each other tows in qualifying, which angered Vettel.
Vettel then won in Singapore, but only after the team inadvertently got him ahead of Leclerc, who has been leading from pole position, by pitting Vettel first to try to pass Hamilton for second place.
Then in Russia Vettel directly refused team orders to let Leclerc by – which had been agreed pre-race following a decision to get Leclerc, again on pole, to let Vettel past with a slipstream into the first corner, so both Ferraris could be running one-two in front of Hamilton.
Since then, Vettel has been on a bit of a run, and has out-qualified Leclerc in the last two races, and the battle for primacy at Ferrari has taken another twist. And now this.
What next?
It’s not hard to work out what has happened here. Vettel will not have taken kindly to being passed by his team-mate. He has then made what many will see as a misjudgement in trying to reclaim the position and been too aggressive in moving over on Leclerc.
As Leclerc put it: “The result was a huge disaster but the incident itself was a very small touch. It’s unfortunate.”
Vettel has form at this sort of thing. Those with long-ish memories will recall the Turkish Grand Prix in 2010, when in trying to pass Red Bull team-mate Mark Webber, he moved over and the two touched, handing a one-two to McLaren drivers Lewis Hamilton and Jenson Button.
In 2010 Vettel had this to say about his collision with team-mate Webber: “I dived down the inside and I had the corner.”
And in the past two years, Vettel has become infamous for making a series of errors in racing situations. Many will see this as the latest example.
After Russia, the two Ferrari drivers were sat down by Binotto to discuss the situation. But the issue for Ferrari is that in the past Vettel has proven time and again that he is reluctant to be managed – unless the situation is in his favour.
What will Binotto do about this aspect of his former number one driver, he was asked?
“It is not a matter of managing,” Binotto said. “It is matter of recognising what has been the actions and mistakes. Whether you are a driver or engineer or whatever, recognising mistakes is important because it can only make you better.
“It is not for me to blame them, it is for them to recognise it.”
On the other hand, while Vettel undoubtedly triggered the incident, Leclerc – who was making his own point in the psychological and on-track battle between the two – may come to conclude that in pinching his team-mate so close to the grass, he was making himself vulnerable to exactly the kind of move Vettel made.
“We need to clarify within the team what is silly and what is not,” Binotto said, “where is the limit of the actions. But when you have a crash, something was wrong, no doubt. When you are free to fight, it is a driving matter how much you can take the risk but today the risk was not necessary.”
The potential consequences
In Brazil, the two Ferrari drivers were free to race because the team had secured second place in the constructors’ championship and all that was left was to decide which finished ahead in the drivers’.
Heading into Brazil, Leclerc was third in the championship, ahead of Red Bull’s Max Verstappen and Vettel. Verstappen’s superb win at Interlagos, coupled with the retirement of the Ferrari drivers, has promoted the Dutchman to third and given him an 11-point cushion on Leclerc, a margin that the Monegasque will not find it easy to overhaul at the final race of the season in Abu Dhabi on 1 December.
More important for Binotto, though, is how he handles the Vettel-Leclerc situation going into 2020.
Vettel and Leclerc are under contract with Ferrari until the end of the 2020 season
Leclerc is likely to finish this year ahead of Vettel on points, on race wins, on pole positions, and on their qualifying head-to-head, despite the advantages Vettel had at the beginning of the year, and despite the fact that he is in his first year with the team and only in his second in F1, against a four-time champion with 53 wins.
To all intents and purposes, Leclerc is now Ferrari’s lead driver, and Binotto cannot go into next year giving Vettel priority. But nor will Vettel accept it being given to Leclerc. He just doesn’t work that way. He believes his status in the sport demands more.
As for Binotto, he has a number of times this year described having two such closely matched and competitive drivers as “a luxury”. Does he still think that way?
“I am still convinced it is a luxury because they are both very good drivers,” he said. “They both represent a benchmark for each other and they have improved during the season.
“Seb in the second half has been very fast. What happened today, I would say it was even lucky it happened this season because there will be an opportunity to clarify with them for it not to happen next year.
“Currently they have a good relations and are going well together. Certainly what happened today may not help. But I don’t think there is a drama at all and I see it more as an opportunity in view of next year to clarify what is needed.”

The 10 greatest Formula One races of all time
Formula 1 marks an important milestone in the Chinese Grand Prix, as the cars line up before the start of the race, it will be the 1,000th time in the history of sport.
The hi-tech technology that we see today on the networks and garages is far from the small bays at deserted airports that greeted the drivers for the first world championship race at Silverstone in 1950.
Among the changes over the years, there have been incredible races that have helped propel the sport to the popularity it enjoys today. Sportsmail looks at the 10 best grands prix of all time

The Brazilian then started his teammate to roll in that endured double pain in the form of rear indicators and a difficult gearbox. , Senna made his move straight on the house and took the lead after Prost was stopped before he drove away comfortably.

9. San Marino 2005
There was a very brief moment in 2005 when it seemed that Ferrari could challenge the title – and it was not in the United States when only four opponents made them could record.
It came on an exciting afternoon in Imola. Kimi Raikkonen led the way before he was forced to retire, handing over the leadership to Fernando Alonso

For the last 12 laps the German tried everything to get by, but with shadows from Nigel Mansell against Ayrton Senna in 1992 in Monaco, the Renault driver retained both his strength and the lead and claimed a famous victory.

The last hurray of the great Juan Manuel Fangio and it was perhaps his greatest of all the incredible drive that he had to produce on dem the nurturing and demanding circuit of the Nürburgring. Fangio & # 39; s biggest threat to the race was the Ferrari & # 39; s from Mike Hawthorn and Peter Collins who had chosen to run on full tanks without pitstops.
After a mistake in the lead, a mistake from a technician saw that he lost another 30 seconds and he came in third place, 48 seconds behind Collins.
From there the loading began.
After passing both, Fangio enjoyed the final lap before he achieved his final F1 victory, one in which he reflected: & # 39; I have never driven so fast in my life before and I think not that I will ever be able to do it again. & # 39;

& # 39; This is terrible, this is pretty horrible, this is the worst start of a Grand Prix I have ever seen in my life. & # 39;
The race started with a collision with 13 cars in severe weather conditions and never seemed to rise once it got underway
Damon Hill took the lead at the restart but became quickly passed by Michael Schumacher who was then looking for an easy victory. However, blinded by rain, he rode David Coulthard in the back, trying to hit the McLaren driver, leaving them both out of the race.

Schumacher was so angry that after & # 39; three-wheeled & # 39; his car back to the pitlane that I tried to physically confront the Scot after storming in the McLaren garage. resumed the lead but was quickly picked up by Jordan teammate Ralf Schumacher. With Jordan for their first win and one for two, Hill pressed team boss Eddie Jordan to prevent Schumacher from passing, claiming that they would be able to collide both drivers and fail to achieve a historic result
Jordan admitted, and after a few radio messages, Schumacher finally obeyed the order not to pass Hill who sealed his last Formula 1 victory.

The ultimate end of a season?
Lewis Hamilton entered the race with a seven-point advantage over Felipe Massa as the duo slugged
Given McLaren's advantage over many of his rivals, this seemed like a simple task, but not for the first time in Brazil, rain.
It started to fall in the final stages of the race, and Hamilton as well as all the front runners except Timo Glock pitted
In addition to the pit stops, Massa effectively led the entire race from pole position and was ready to be crowned as world champion when he crossed the finish line.
But when the rain became more intense, Glock's grooved tires had lost all grip and followed the last corner. Hamilton passed the Toyota to regain fifth and snatched the title away from Massa – leaving a previously festive Ferrari garage stunned.

The race was hit by heavy rain, so much so that it was stopped halfway for two hours, with Vettel, who had started from the pole position that led the way.

The day that a small river at bend 3 caused total chaos … and produced one of the most bizarre races of all time .

German GP: Jolyon Palmer column - Passion, brilliance & costly mistakes
http://www.internetunleashed.co.uk/?p=17400 German GP: Jolyon Palmer column - Passion, brilliance & costly mistakes - http://www.internetunleashed.co.uk/?p=17400 Former F1 driver Jolyon Palmer, who left Renault during the 2017 season, has joined the BBC team to offer insight and analysis from the point of view of the competitors.I love sport because of the emotion, the passion, the highs, the lows, the moments of brilliance and the costly mistakes. At the German Grand Prix, all that happened in just 24 hours.First, there was the drama of qualifying. Lewis Hamilton, who was already on a tough run in recent grands prix, had more bad luck. A non-finish in Austria after a torrid race he had initially led, and then defeat in his home race at Silverstone last time out had left the Mercedes driver slightly on the back foot in his championship fight with Ferrari's Sebastian Vettel. But bad luck hit again in qualifying on Saturday in Germany. This time, it was a hydraulic leak and it meant Hamilton was consigned to starting 14th.These things happen from time to time. In fact, before Austria, Hamilton had been in the extremely fortunate position of not having a retirement caused by a mechanical issue since his costly engine failure of Malaysia 2016. However, the hurt was very obvious in this case.I was racing for Renault when Hamilton's engine blew in Malaysia, effectively costing him the title to team-mate Nico Rosberg. He caused a bit of a storm when he complained on television about it, saying "something or someone doesn't want me to win this year". But I don't remember his reaction being as downbeat and as low as he was after qualifying on Saturday.Anguish for Hamilton; a high for Vettel Hamilton suffered hydraulic failure in the first part of Saturday's qualifying session and started the German Grand Prix from 14th on the gridOn Saturday, Hamilton was so desperate to get back to the pits he started pushing the car back - when he still had more than a third of the lap to go! It was never going to work.The desperation was clear, and so was the despair as his car was ultimately pushed by the marshals to the side of the track so qualifying could resume without him.Hamilton did his now trademark crouch down against the car, head bowed, and looked a figure of misery.The fallout from it, with everyone trying to ascertain whether it was his fault or not, did nothing to lift his mood either. At first, it looked as though Hamilton had caused the failure by running over the kerbs. Mercedes initially said as much before both team and driver concluded the car had already failed, which caused the kerb-bouncing incident. Ultimately, it didn't matter. The damage was done. But Hamilton seemed affected. He posted Nelson Mandela quotes about the meaning of love and hatred on his Instagram page, and what was a bad day seemed to be spiralling emotionally out of control.The contrast on Saturday was Vettel. He took a brilliant pole position in front of a rejuvenated German home crowd, the biggest I've seen at Hockenheim by far (I wasn't around for the Michael Schumacher glory days).The eruption as Vettel crossed the line to take pole was loud - loud enough for Hamilton to hear and deepen the wounds of a torrid day.Fate turns on its head From 14th to first, this was a massive win for the four-time world championThe key thing for professional sportsmen is to deal with adversity. It happens to everybody at some point to varying degrees. I had a turning point in my career when I acknowledged I could no longer control anything that had already happened. It seems such a simple, obvious thing, but there's no point holding on to the frustration of days gone by or thinking about what could have been.You don't need to forget about the past; it's good to learn lessons from it. But whenever a new session or a new day comes it's all about maximising what you can do on that day.On Sunday, Hamilton did exactly that. Starting 14th, with the pace advantage of the top three teams over the others and with Daniel Ricciardo starting from the back in a Red Bull, a good haul of points was surely the minimum expectation, so long as he kept his nose clean through the opening few corners in the midfield melee.Top five; minimum. A podium? Possibly. But a win? Surely no chance.Well, just over an hour and a half after the lights went out, Hamilton was somehow coming back with that win. As he celebrated, his engineer Pete Bonnington declared "miracles do happen, mate" over the radio.Hamilton's great driveBut this was no miracle. This was pure determination from a driver who had firmly put his bad luck behind him. His first stint was crucial, keeping his soft tyres alive while others struggled, and matching the Ferraris for pace on much older tyres even after they had pitted for new.That meant Hamilton could pit for new ultra-soft tyres just as it started raining and the track began to get slippery, and with that his pace was electric. Hamilton always shines when it rains, and at times he was lapping three seconds a lap faster than those ahead of him. Even without Vettel going off it's conceivable Hamilton could have won the race, such was his pace in the conditions.The rain teemed down after the podium celebrations, but Hamilton didn't care. He was still celebrating with fans, amid lightning forks and claps of thunder. The same fans had cheered Vettel to pole 24 hours before. They had witnessed not only a fantastic race, but a fantastic performance from a driver who had been through all the emotions in that same period.A costly error from Vettel Vettel went from first to out after a crash on Turn 13 of Lap 52The contrast on Sunday was again Vettel.He led from the front and, barring some needly exchanges between himself, the team, and team-mate Kimi Raikkonen, he was in complete control… until lap 52.When you are on untreaded, 'slick' tyres and it starts raining, they are the hardest conditions in racing. There is now enough rain to pit for treaded 'wet' tyres - as others had done erroneously - so you just have to slither around on a tyre that isn't designed for the conditions, with a tiny margin for error.Vettel got it wrong. He misjudged the conditions, braking too late into Sachs Kurve, a notoriously punishing corner in the Stadium section of Hockenheim, and ended up in the wall.He immediately started swearing and hitting the steering wheel in frustration and sounded almost in tears as he apologised to the team for the crash.It was a triple whammy of pain. Firstly, crashing out of the lead of the race. Secondly, because it was his home race, one that meant so much and he had crashed out right in front of the bulk of the 120,000 fans. Thirdly, because he then had to watch Hamilton drive flawlessly to take all the plaudits and a 17-point championship lead as well.What could have been.How does Vettel bounce back? Vettel says he won't have trouble sleeping after crashing out of the German Grand PrixVettel must now move on, just as Hamilton did before the race. It was a very different accident to his one in Singapore last year, when he arguably triggered a multi-car pile-up at the start, but in many ways it is a similar situation. In Singapore, Vettel started on pole and Hamilton was fifth and up against it. And, just as in Germany on Sunday, Vettel crashed out and Hamilton won. It seemed like a turning point in the championship as Vettel never recovered.While there are similarities, this year feels different. Not least because Ferrari are more competitive on the whole. But Vettel really needs to hit back this weekend in Budapest. A 17-point lead in the championship at the halfway point is tiny, almost irrelevant. But if Hamilton wins at the Hungaroring on Sunday and anything happens to Vettel, the lead could leap up to 42 points at the summer break. The gap would go from almost irrelevant to very big, almost insurmountable.It's a good thing for Vettel that he needs to wait only a few days to be back in the car and making amends. As a driver, the worst thing is to make a mistake and be left stewing on it for too long without a chance to rectify it.A season to savourThis brilliant season has been an epic two-way fight for the title between the giants of the sport - Hamilton versus Vettel; Mercedes versus Ferrari.It's been a wonderful year full of twists and turns and I'm sure there are plenty more to come. But in so many championships you can look back with hindsight at a key moment that decided the destination of the title. On Saturday, everyone was wondering whether Hamilton's hydraulic failure could be a turning point in the season. Clearly now it won't be. Instead, the question marks are all about whether Vettel's crash will be the decisive moment of the season. It's up to him to respond now in the same way Hamilton did on Sunday and ensure it won't be. Source link

yeah ThAt's what i'm talking about
everyone's so swept up in the 2016 drama and the dieting and the extremes nico went to that they forget nico fuckin rosberg was an absolute prodigy from day 1 in formula 1.
he is one of the best drivers of this fuckin decade !!
if literally any driver other than lewis hamilton was his teammate, like if merc had gone with hulkenberg like they'd scouted for a while nico rosberg would be a 4x wdc rn and because the car was that goated, and his entire perception by fans would be different.
he won his first (and only race that year) in 2012. and in 2013 he won 2 races. from 2014-2016 he won 20 races, while having peak lewis fucking hamilton as his teammate.
#put some respect on his name#like no he kept up against lewis hamilton and took a title off him#none of Max's teammates could ever do that. none of Lewis' did#23 career wins 30 poles 15 pole to wins 🤭🥶#nico you are so so underrated#nico rosberg#lewis hamilton#f1#brocedes
