all of these documents are a great reminder that e company wasn't a single monolith made up of men who all shared the exact same thoughts, like with the example of webster, malarkey clearly didn't like the guy and resents his being used as a primary source by ambrose, whereas alley has the exact same concerns but clearly likes webster a lot and is more concerned about web not being with easy for some significant events. idk i think especially with the show its very easy to fall into the the trap of thinking that they weren't real people who all thought independently of one another and saw things they went through differently
