it's so nice to see kids animation, epsecially fantasy, becoming more inclusive of brown girls. i remember my sisters and i looked up to katara so much when we were kids because she was the only main character of a cartoon that ever looked like us. she wasn't even the protagonist, but she was seen as both pretty and strong and stuck it to sexist jerks and it was so amazing to watch. it's so wonderful that there are so many more kids shows with brown girls as the protagonists & main characters like kipo and the age of wonderbeasts, the legend of korra, amphibia, dead end paranormal park, and the owl house.
