What does their bedroom look like in each of the Clexa AUs 5 years into living together?

I'm just gonna go one because otherwise it'd get long af 😅

Demon au's bedroom - large single room that expands the entire length of the house (it's a slim brownstone-esque building so just imagine a large loft that without the balcony feature). High vaulted ceilings with treated exposed wooden beams and floor to ceiling braces that dot either end. At the far front end there's a single arched window that lifts up for air, and along the walls on either side are tall bookshelves that go halfway up. On the right side (facing the front of the house) after the bookshelves is their bed - black painted wooden square frame with a slatted headboard (steardy, for leverage) with sheets that are never made because they'll just end messing them back up. A bedside table sits on either side that is either cluttered with lube bottles and half-read abandoned books or a forgotten crumpled up cupcake wrapper from breakfast in bed that morning. In the corner is a fake plant beside the table because Clarke kept killing every goddamn thing she tried to keep in there to brighten the place up 🥴. The far back wall is just the division into the closet which stretches the width of the house, which... is great, but Clarke still ended up having to force her egocentric girlfriend to donate a good hundred pieces just to make room for her stuff. On the opposite wall is their shared makeup table next to the bathroom. Then a few steps toward the front of the house is the banistered staircase leading downstairs

heyyy, What wallpaper do you think Lexa would have on her cell phone?

Uh this is fun ✨️

So, I can't imagine Lexa having any overly personal photo as a wallpaper on her phone, mostly because it's still something people can see in public, and she is a rather private person. No one needs to see her and Clarke's kissing or cuddling in bed every time she unlocks her phone, and she is definitely not a fan of pictures of herself right there everytime.

And while I can see her opt-in for no pictures at all, just a nice dark floral moment, these are my two picks for pciture wallpapers for Lexa:

1. A more casual picture of her and Clarke. Its not overly touchy, a nice photo taken by one of their friends on a night out. They look cute, and she likes having a picture of her and Clarke to look at without feeling like she is exposing her relationship fully on her phone. The cute pictures of them kissing and being in love have a place on her phone, just not as her wallpaper.

(I did try to reverse search the image and could not find who edited it. If anyone knows, let me know so I can credit them, please!)

2. Clarke smiling, a candid shot of her girlfriend. Nothing too intimate or posed, just Clarke laughing at something Lexa said. Makes Lexa happy looking at her, and it's really how she prefers to see Clarke, happy and carefree. Its a toss between these pictures or the ones where Clarke is being a menace and giving the camera the middle finger everytime Lexa pulls it out. Although a side of her girlfriend Lexa also loves, she prefers to see her smiling when she looks at her phone :)

Koda: His lock screen and home screen are just pictures of some of the prettier places he’s been. When he gets into a relationship with the MC? They’d probably stay the same. If the MC wanted to be his wallpaper though? He’d happily change it. It’s just not something he really thinks about that much.

Scarlett: Either the default ones or pictures of Zephyr and Lexa that Zephyr added, and Scarlett just couldn’t be bothered to change it. When in a relationship? Her lock screen would probably stay the same, or it’d might be a silhouette of the two of you together, with her home screen being a picture you had sneakily taken while in her arms and she’s looking down at you— a picture that she pretended to hate because it makes her look soft. Only for you to find it being her home screen however long later.

Cyrus/Cyra: Both their home and lock screen are the sunrise and sunset, respectively. It’s something that calms them when they see it, allowing their brain to rest for a small moment. When they get into a relationship? It’d probably change into pictures of you.

Quinn: Candid photos that were taken on one of their various hikes, which means they change a lot because they always find new places to explore. When they get into a relationship it’d shift to nature shots still, but it’d probably include you walking on the path in front of them.

Caden: Default. Will it change? Probably not. Caden doesn’t truly use their phone for personal use like that, it’s mainly for work and that’s about it.

Sloane: Just a black screen is their lock screen, but their home screen is a slightly blurry picture of an older looking pub with a neon light flashing in the front— a token for a place long gone, and past that’s better forgotten, but stubbornly hangs around. When in a relationship they’d happily change it to pictures of you both together, a happier future finally gracing the screen of their phone.

Blake: A random picture they took of the ocean is their lock screen and their home screen is a picture of you both from a while back that definitely looks old, but they absolutely love the memory that’s attached to the photo. It probably wouldn’t be changed once they get into a relationship, but they could always be convinced.

Reginald/Regina: Totally the type to have random quotes as their lock/home screen and wouldn’t be ashamed to admit it. They’d probably keep one quote and change the other into a photo of the two of you together. (Or they’d change it to a nice, aesthetically pleasing shot of their books. Only time will tell…) Or, better yet, a cute picture with you reading a book— they’d find it absolutely adorable.

Clarke the Vampire Slayer

Summary: When Clarke, a young student with a clear idea of what her life will be, wakes up one morning with superhuman strength, destiny comes knocking on her door. Sent to Polis to prevent a demon from opening the Hellmouth, she can count on the mysterious owner of a magic shop and new friends to help her dispose of vampires, demons, and other evil creatures. But will she succeed in stopping the Apocalypse?

Chapter 6: Dangerous Foes…

Despite her enjoyable dinner with Lexa, sleep eluded Clarke for many hours that night. Restless and fired up, she tossed and turned, unable to calm the hammering of her heart. And when she finally drifted into a slumber, weird dreams plagued her.

She saw Lexa, draped in black and red, wishing they had never met and shouting that Clarke had no right to divert her from her path. People she hadn’t met before, with bizarrely colored skins and strange features, hounding her in the dark. A furious Gustus groaning at her for disrespecting his leader and threatening her with his giant horns.

She jerked awake when one pierced her flesh, the feeling far too real for comfort. Sitting on the bed, the room still immersed in darkness, she massaged her stomach for a few minutes until the burn disappeared.

“That’s it. No more reading about demons before bed.”

Clarke forced out a chuckle and took a few calming breaths. The vivid nightmare had shaken her, but that was all it was. A nightmare. The unfortunate result of too many pages about hellish creatures feeding a naturally overactive imagination. She would have to find a way to channel those thoughts, or she would be in for some rough nights.

As if to mock her, the wall separating her bedroom from Raven’s shook when she lay down again. Only for a second, and then again for longer, before it stopped as quickly as it had started. Clarke first assumed it was an earthquake, but the rest of the room remained absolutely immobile.

What on earth was happening? Was the Apocalypse coming in early? Not fair. She was supposed to have weeks, if not months, to prevent it.

 Clarke stood up and positioned a hand on the wall, waiting to see if the phenomenon would recur.

The concrete was warm under the wallpaper, but not scorching hot. There was no smoke, no acrid smell. Nothing indicating a fire in Raven’s apartment.

Senses on high alert, she placed her ear against the wall. Had Raven noticed the weird event too?

No sound of panic came from the other side. Nothing but low whimpers typical of someone having a nightmare. Clarke wasn’t apparently the only one fighting off bad dreams. Unless the ghosts Raven had mentioned were acting up?

I feel like the last 3 years I have been in my own world, I haven't been keeping up on the queer content on tv and online. I feel like I haven't been able to connect in the same way I used to, which is incredibly heart wrenching to me. I've always loved the fandom communities I've been in and the friends I've made.

I've never felt so alone these last couple years. I've had some health issues that I'm still trying to figure out, but basically I just haven't felt normal or like myself since I had my 2nd baby.

I'm just starting to put myself back out there. And I've been craving human interaction. Mostly with people who love the same things. I figured tumblr is the best place for that!

But I am starting to get there and I've spent some time catching up on ships I've missed and I am so glad to be back.

I'm late to the party but I've connected to something for the first time since Lexa and I have willingly gone down the Dickinson rabbit hole.

I'm wondering if any of my old friends are still here? And I'm gonna have to figure out all the changes on this app.

What photo of them does Clarke keep as her phone's wallpaper after AWTR Lexa passes?

The candid photo that Raven took of them together at the bonfire will always be one of her favorites. It's just everything to her. The way Lexa holds her and doesn't seem to care who is is watching. The way she can practically still feel Lexa nuzzling against her face if she closes her eyes and tries hard enough. Lexa and her, they just look so good together. Especially her soon-to-be wife at the time, in her humble estimation. Lexa just looks so happy and young and at peace in it. For a long while, every time Clarke sees it after she's gone, it feels like her chest is caving in. Because more than anything, what she sees when she looks at it is that Lexa looks so damn in love.

With her. Of all people. That brilliant, beautiful girl loves her.

... Loved her...

And there's just nothing that really compares.

She has their wedding pictures and a few dozen more from when they started dated, even a few from when Lexa had really started to show her illness. But nothing ever quite compares to that one. It's a picture Clarke gets framed and hangs in every home she ever lives in. Keeps a copy in her wallet. Has a folder saved on every phone just for it all on its own so she can find it in a second should she need it
