Lenovo K10 Note review: A mixed bag overall, but performance impresses

Technology News Chinese electronics manufacturer Lenovo recently made a comeback to India’s smartphone market with the launch of the K10 Note. The company’s previous K Note-series smartphones were budget and midrange offerings with big screens, colourful designs, big-capacity batteries and powerful processors.

The recently launched K10 Note continues that legacy, and adds imaging to the mix. But the Lenovo K10 Note is a mix bag overall — it has several impressive features but misses out on a few key ones. We find that this smartphone is a performer, but the areas where it lacks lustre cannot be ignored, either.

The K10 Note has a minimalist look — a sleek profile with a glossy rear panel, which is a treat to the eye. But the phone is a fingerprint magnet. What's good is the missing gradient scheme. On the rear, it has a triple-camera set-up and a fingerprint sensor that works really fast.

This lightweight phone has a 6.3-inch Full HD+ display with thin bezels on the sides and slightly thick bezel at the bottom.

Display

The display of the K10 Note is not one of the best we have seen in recent times. The screen size is great and the phone doesn't look too big, but the display could have been sharper and crisper. Read More

Lenovo launches K10 Note, Z6 Pro and A6 Note smartphones in India

Technology News Chinese technology major Lenovo on Thursday launched three new smartphones - Lenovo K10 Note, Z6 Pro and A6 Note - in India. A6 Note comes with a price tag of Rs 7,999 and is available in black and blue colour options.

K10 Note comes with a price tag of Rs 13,999 for 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage option, while the 6GB RAM + 128GB comes for Rs 15,999. Z6 Pro is priced at Rs 33,999 for 8GB and 128GB storage variant. The phones will be available for purchase on Flipkart.

In terms of specifications, Z6 Pro sports a 6.39-inch AMOLED display with support for DC dimming. The smartphone sports a quad-camera setup which includes a 48MP primary sensor, a 16MP secondary sensor with a wide-angle-lens, 8MP sensor with a telephoto lens and a 2MP sensor.

The phone packs a 32MP selfie shooter on the front. It is powered by Qualcomm's flagship Snapdragon 855 SoC. There is a 4,000mAh battery onboard, which supports 27W fast charging...Read more.
