Pleasee we need a “Begin again” oneshot where polo meets Gavi and the rest of the team 😩🙏
"Okay, gordo, we're here." Pedro says, taking him out of the car seat.
The team was having a little father/daughter or father/son activity today, they ask the fathers to bring their kids.
The majority of the team found out by an instagram post that he made. But his friends like Ferran and Gavi knew before anyone.
Ferran was the only one who met Polo before the announcement. Something that Gavi didn't like was that he couldn't meet him before, even when he was the one who told Pedro about your return to Barcelona and gave you his number.
Xavi also knew before anybody else. He and the higher-ups of the club.
Polo was in a very good mood today, thinking that was great, considering he just had a cold and was in a very mad mood all day these past days.
"Hoy te daré un tour por donde juega papi." (Today I'm giving you a tour of the stadium where daddy plays)
"Papa"
"Yes, mi amor, and you're meeting some of my teammates, maybe some friends for you."
Pedro was one of the first ones to arrive. Xavi and him made conversation. He was happy with him because he stayed, Xavier knows that he is a very important player for them.
"Es que ya veo al futuro número ocho." (I can see the future number 8) Xavi jokes. "I don't know about your girlfriend, but I can only see you in him."
"My mother says the same thing." He laughs. "But I think he's going to change, I used to look like my dad, and now I look like my mother."
"I can relate. My son used to look like me, and now he's all my wife." Xavi points at his son. "I can't even believe I met you when you were a child, and now we are talking about our kids."
Pedro laughs, remembering how young he was, believing that being coached by Xavi was the best thing ever. And it was.
"Dios mio, mira esos cachetes." (My God, look at those cheeks) Ferran says, hugging Pedro carefully. "Hi beautiful boy, you're so big."
"He's heavier too." Xavi jokes.
"Gavi is so excited to meet Polo. He was so mad at me when I posted the picture to my WhatsApp."
"Macho, estaba enojado a más no poder, me tuvo bloqueado por varios días." (Man, he was mad as fuck, he blocked me for a few days)
"Who had you blocked?" Gavi ask, eyes fixed on his phone. "Man, this place is going to smell like dirty diaper and cheese."
"You heard that Polo?" (Uncle Pablo says he hates that you'll smell like dirty diaper and cheese)
The way Pablo lifts his head from the screen makes everyone laugh.
Xavi passed Polo back to his father. Pedro points to another room for Pablo to follow him.
"Polito, hijo mío, this is Pablo, he's your uncle, yes a piece of-"
"Don't say that González." Pablo quickly covers his friends mouth. "Introduce me nicely."
"This is Uncle Pablo. He's a little piece of mind, but it turns out to be one of the best people I have ever met."
Pablo has his eyes on the boy. He's so like Pedro, but he can definitely see some of you.
"Puedo cargarlo?" (Can I hold him?) He ask excited.
"I don't know." Pedro laughs. "Polo, do you want Uncle Pablo to hold you?"
Polo smiled at Pablo. He has his hands out, ready to hold him.
"Vente, I want to see if your uncle Fernando is right about you being a little rock."
Polo extends his arms to Pablo, and he didn't miss a second to take him.
"Joder, si que eres lindo, y eso que este de acá." He points at Pedro. "Es tu papá." (Fuck, you're really beautiful, and that on this man being your father)
Pedro couldn't help but laugh at how his friend is talking to the child about how thanks to him, his parents are now together.
"Venga, vamos afuera que ya va a empezar." (C'mon, let's go outside. This almost begins) Pedro tries to take his son from Pablo, but this one walks away with him as if it's his own. Still talking to him about different things.
"Hey guys" Frenkie shouts, he was so excited for this day, even tho he's not a father himself, he loves kids, they're funny, cute and he loves hugs and kids love giving hugs. Perfect day for him. "Pablo? Do you have a son?" He asks, confused.
Before Pablo could answer, Pedro and Ferran say yes. Even giving him the diaper bag.
"I'm a father now, right Pablito Jr?"
"God, I hate that name." Ferran laughs.
"You're just jealous because Pablo Jr. and I are going to have an amazing day today." He says, sticking his tongue out as he walks to the field where the other players and their kids are.
"Did he just stole your son?" Xavi asks, watching the way Pablo is showing Polo around.
"Yes."
"Joder, that kid is crazy. Let him try to change a diaper, and he'll give the baby back so quickly."
Pedro laughs at the idea, but he can't lie that the way Pablo's bragging about his kid is adorable.
And he was kind of right, without him finding you at the grocery store and giving you his number. It would've taken more time than necessary for you two to reconnect.
"Pedro," Ansu calls, waving at him to come. He recently welcomed his firstborn to the world. So it was the first time they met the baby. "Where's your kid?"
With his eyebrows, he points towards Pablo. He and Raphinha are talking, both with kids that aren't theirs.
"Don't worry, once they start fussing, they're getting them back." He laughs, "This is Mike, he's my son."
"We're getting a new player in a few years." He says, taking the kid in his hands. Before Polo, he would have denied holding any babies, too scared to drop them or something. But after Polo, he was confident in himself. "Epa, he's really cute."
"He's a pain in the ass at night, but I wouldn't change a thing." They laugh, knowing what it is, Ansu more than him.
The activity begins, it was a fun recreational event. More focused on the bigger kids, but they included all the kids with all kind of activities.
"Pedro." Pablo hurries to his side. "I think he pooped."
"I don't know, man, that's Pablo Jr Paez, not Polo González." He turns and walks away slowly, knowing Pablo is panicking.
"Pedro." He cries. "I can't do this, I'm a kid."
"A what now?" He can't believe the scare face his friend has. It's comical. "I thought you were saying that's your kid."
"Es que," he tries to think of an excuse that's good enough. "I'm a kid."
Pedro can't keep with his joke since the face his kid has is a panicked one, he's uncomfortable and he knows it.
"Come here, precioso mio." He hugs Polo carefully, not wanting to smear the situation in his diaper. "Want to come with me?"
Pablo makes this funny face, saying no with his head. "But when you're done, I want him back, I really like holding him"
"Adiós." He says, waving his hand, walking to the bathroom. Lucky for him, Frenkie was there. "Hey man, are you done playing with the kids?"
"No, but Ansu wanted me to hold his baby, and I was nervous."
"So you hide in the bathroom?" He raised his eyebrow. "Why not just say no?"
"No, I hold him, but I almost drop him, so I'm done for the day."
"It's okay, that happens, just don't hold more babies for the day, and if you do, make sure to do it slowly."
Frenkie and him stayed there. He changed the diaper, and Frenkie told him about the things some kids told him.
The activities continued, and they all had a nice time. The club gave them some gifts for this fathers/kid Day, it was a funny experience.
"I got a bag." Pablo says happy, "and I got a lollipop." He lifts the gift with his free hand, proud of it.
"Why did you get a gift, and I didn't." Ferran ask confused, he tried to stole a gift, but he couldn't.
"Paula has a crush on me." He laughs, knowing that everyone in the club is aware that he's single and with no kids. But Paula saw him with the baby in his arms and gave him the bag without question.
"Asshole."
"You're just jealous."
"Okay," Pedro interrupted. They all got to their cars, coincidentally they're parked next to each other. "Give me my son, and go home with your gift."
"Adiós, Pablito Jr." He kisses the baby multiple times, Polo is laughing, loving the attention. "I want to take you home, but I can't even change you, so I'll come see you."
"You can come anytime." Pedro pats his back. Pablo and Ferran never needed an invitation for them to go to his house, and he didn't need an invitation to go to their houses. "Polito loves the attention, and you need a distraction from the videogames."
"Papa." Polo does grabby hands to Pedro, done with Pablo's arms. The two boys are in awe from this, Pedro is an amazing father, and they know it.
"No, but I'm serious. You both can come at any time." He shakes both the boys' hands. Polo also waved them goodbye, something Fernando taught him to do. Making both Pablo and Ferran almost scream in excitement.
When he arrived home, he bathed the baby, ready for his nap. After all, it was a good day for him.
"Hola hola," you greet, walking in with your work bag. "How was it?" You kiss Pedro hello, then kiss Polo, who was almost passed out with the way he's being swayed and the milk he's almost done with.
"It was good, Pablo told everyone that he was Pablo Jr., and Ansu has a babyboy. Remember me to send something to him."
"I'm not surprised with Pablo, I mean, he even sent me an audio mad when we didn't tell him first." You laugh, happy for your boys, mostly because Pedro is starting to become more secure about Polo being public and trusting himself with him outside.
"Yeah, crazy. Also, Xavi says -"
The doorbell interrupted him, and you go check who it is, laughing when you see who's at the door.
"Come in." You step aside for Pablo to come in. "I heard you have a kid now."
"Oh stop, but I got a gift from saying that."
Pablo walks in happy, gifts in hand. "I bought this when Pedro told me, well, Ferran announced it to me." He says, bittery joking tone. "But I wanted to drop it."
"Pablito," you hug him, Pablo, and you always had this special connection. He trusted you like nobody else, always asking you for advice, for help. He was like a little brother to you. Just like with Pedro, they had this relationship since the beginning. "Te quiero mucho."
The evening was good, Pablo and Pedro talked about future matches. He even learned how yo change a diaper when Polo woke up.
I guess we all can say that Pablo has baby fever thanks to your kid.

Welcome to the 43rd installment of 15 Weeks of Phantom, where I post all 68 sections of Le Fantôme de l’Opéra, as they were first printed in Le Gaulois newspaper 115 yeas ago.
In today’s installment, we have Chapter 17, “Christine ! Christine !” (“Christine! Christine!”), as well as Part I of Chapter 18, “Révélations étonnantes de Mme Giry, relatives à ses relations personnelles avec le fantôme de l’Opéra” (“Mme Giry’s Astonishing Revelations, Regarding Her Personal Relations with the Phantom of the Opera”).
This section was first printed on Tuesday, 30 November, 1909.
For anyone following along in David Coward's translation of the First Edition of Phantom of the Opera (either in paperback, or Kindle, or from another vendor -- the ISBN-13 is: 978-0199694570), the text starts in Chapter 16 with, “Following Christine Daaé’s startlingly phantasmagoric disappearance, Raoul’s first thought had been to suspect Erik,” and goes to Chapter 17, “…in which Messrs Richard and Moncharmin had locked themselves for reasons still unclear to the reader which it is my duty as chronicler to keep hidden from him no longer.”
NOTE: The ending of this section in the Gaulois text differs from the ending in the First Edition, since in Chapter 17 of the First Edition, Leroux summarized the events that transpired in “The Magic Envelope” (the chapter that Leroux omitted from the First Edition, for which I published the first English translation). See #6 below.
There are some differences between the Gaulois text and the First Edition. In this section, these include (highlighted in red above):
1) Chapter XVIII was printed as Chapter XIX. This numbering error was made in Chapter VII, and was not corrected, so it was propagated throughout the Gaulois publication.
2) Chapter 18 in the Gaulois text is Chapter 17 in the First Edition, etc.
3) This passage appeared in the Gaulois text, but was omitted from the First Edition:
Que va-t-il devenir ? Que devient-elle ? Où est-elle ?…
Translation:
“What was to become of him? What was to become of her? Where was she?”
4) Compare the Gaulois text:
Oui, Christine lui a bien parlé de cela !… Et il court, il sort.
Translation:
“Yes, Christine had spoken to him of that!… And he rushed out.”
To the First Edition:
Oui, Christine lui a bien parlé de cela !… Et après avoir constaté, hélas ! que la lourde clef n'est pas dans le coffret, il n'en court pas moins à la rue Scribe.
Translation:
“Yes, Christine had spoken to him of that!… And after noting, alas, that the weighty key was not in its box, he nevertheless rushed to the Rue Scribe.”
5) This line was added to the First Edition, and did not appear in the Gaulois text:
Le Persan !
Translation:
“The Persian!”
6) In the First Edition, the following section of the Gaulois text was cut from "Mme Giry’s Astonishing Revelations," and a section was added to summarize "The Magic Envelope." In Coward’s translation, this added text goes from, “I have had occasion to observe that, over a period, the mood of both Directors had changed for the worse” and goes to, “The next time eventually came round… as it happened, on the very day of Christine Daaé’s disappearance.”
In the Gaulois text, Leroux wrote (highlighted in red above):
I will surprise no one in stating that MM. Richard and Moncharmin had not abandoned the hope of returning the first twenty thousand francs to their cashbox, which the Phantom had taken out. And to this purpose, they had not hesitated to risk twenty thousand more. This is, moreover, a bold wager, or if you will, a daring calculation, which is rather common amongst unlucky gamblers. The Managers had lost the first round against P. of the O. They hoped to win the second.
“May the second round go to us!” Richard had thus exclaimed… “I have only preached patience, my poor Moncharmin, so that we may better catch P. of the O. with his hand in the till.”
The till, in this case, was none other than the magic envelope.
7) Minor differences in punctuation.

What are your all time fav Dramione fics? And what are the WIPs you're enjoying rn?
Bonus question! Favourite gothics you read whilst preparing for A Certain Slant of Light? xx
Ooh! Thank you for the questions!
My all-time favorite Dramione fics probably aren't too different from everybody else's – Love and Other Historical Accidents is way up there, as is DMATMOOBIL. A few others that occupy permanent space in my brain: The Darkwood Wand by @thebemoon, Le roi est mort, vive le roi by Storycat9, Until the Ink Runs Dry by @acciomjolnir, and Tea and Necromancy by @saveourskinship. Plus every one of PacificRimbaud's one-shots.
WIPs I'm following? Here's where I'm embarrassed to admit I've been an atrocious fic reader lately, and my inbox is so full of unread updates that I cringe every time I open my email. When I have free time and energy, writing always winds up taking priority, followed by whatever trad published novels I'm reading. WIPs I'm eyeing that will probably be finished by the time I get to them include: A Good Prisoner, A Cosmology of Blacks, Malfoys, and Assorted Individuals, and, of course, Lionheart.
Funnily enough, prepping for A Certain Slant of Light was less about getting into the gothic mood than about getting out of the Pratchetty one. There is something highly addictive about that Bad Omens narrator. I couldn't shake him for a long, long time.
So yes, I re-read/watched a bunch of my favorites. For mood and style: Dracula (shoutout Dracula Daily!), Rebecca, VE Schwab, The Island of Doctor Moreau - a masterclass in writing gore without being gross.
For setting: Hill House, Bly Manor (I completely ripped off the kitchen), and Crimson Peak.
I listened to Anthonio by Annie one billion times, just for the vibes.
#Mina was never far from my mind#Do I ship Mina and Dracula?#no#but there's something alluring about being so completely under another person's spell#no critical thinking can survive all that *want*#like the call of the void#and the void is Draco#the bad decisions are coming from inside the house

At the end of the first part, I'm not sure I know what '72 is trying to accomplish. Politics, sure. For every actor to have their chance to shout a line, for sure. It feels as if I've watched four different shows, of four different qualities, two of them quite good, one mediocre, and one bad. Many thoughts, moving in reverse:
The Gorbeau ambush occupies the last third (I would mark the start just after 1:15:00 [when the Thnardier girls drop their father's beggar's letters in the street, which are then retrieved by Marius], and the run time is almost two hours). Thénardier occupies center screen for a high percentage of this forty-five minutes—I'd argue he's the main character for this time, though the show tries to split its attention between him and Marius. He's erratic, raving, furious, violent. He's very broken in this iteration of the character, and while it is difficult to call him pitiful—he's too much of a threat—he's distinctly and peculiarly sympathetic in a manner that I don't read in the book and haven't seen in other adaptations. He's too fucked-up to be playing a game when he speaks of suicide and the unfairness of the world; his imprecations against society are not ploys to garner attention but a real expression of pain. "Sympathetic" not here at all synonymous with "likable", to be clear; again: he's a threat. A villain. Abusive. Only, the watcher is forced to ask: why?
Alain Mottet's delivery of the line "Oh! je mangerais le monde!" is as close to understated as he's capable of acting, flat and bitter, and quite effective. It is contrasted against the letter he is writing, from which he reads aloud a line pulled from III.VIII.III, "La vertu de la clémence et pitié est celle qui unit plus étroitement la société"—the intent and tone are different (and more comedic) in the novel, but here you get the sense of a man who is debasing himself before others to be allowed a place in a society he'd rather chew to pieces. Solid.
"Voulez-vous mon chapeau?" and Javert's good mood hits a different note—the show has been so goddamn grim for forty minutes that the abrupt tone shift grates, and seems cruel. Which I'm fine with, as an effect. It's unfortunate that Bernard Fresson is a little dead behind the eyes and plays a bland Javert, or in any case seems bland in comparison to a very emotive cast, and doesn't carry the scene well.
Speaking of emotive, holy shit, Hermine Karagheuz, what're you doing? Move aside, Suzanne Nivette, here's a feral Éponine. It's too pitchy of a performance for me to find it effective per se, though I'm not sure how much of this is acting conventions in '70s France.
Before we shift gears into the Gorbeau ambush, Marius sulks out of the Musain; he meets Enjolras on the stairs, and while we only see Jean-Luc Boutté in profile he's got an open, pleasant expression on, he's looking at a real bro, his "You are leaving?" is disappointed, his "When will we see you again?" hopeful. Cracked my shit up. Enjolras, why do you like this guy so much?
With apologies to fans of this adaptation, the entire flashback sequence is godawful. Occupying about thirty minutes starting at the ~50 minute mark, we do a speed run through Jean Valjean's bread theft, sentencing, escapes, encounter with Myriel, success as Madeleine, interference in Fantine's arrest—we're only at the ten minute mark, hang on to your hat—a combined punish me m. le maire/"Une tempête sous un crâne"/courtroom self-denunciation that all occurs as a continuous sequence in a cobbled street with a black backdrop—finally meeting Cosette, and fleeing into the convent. A narrator connects the narrative dots for us. Choices have been made.
Georges Géret plays an interesting Jean Valjean: expressive, desperate, sweaty from arrest to his encounter with Myriel and during the turmoil of the Champmathieu sequence (inasmuch as that exists here), self-possessed when confronting Javert over Fantine and saving Cosette from the wood, then utterly dead as Ultime Fauchelevent. I know he's capable of turning a facial expression, so this is deliberate. The tenderness I expect from his relationship with Cosette is utterly lacking, there are no smiles between them, no gentle touch. The impression becomes that of a sexless Bluebeard—I believe that this is, as the narrator tells us, a virginal relationship, but I don't buy it as love. Interestingly we get a quote here all the way from IV.XV.I, "il aimait Cosette comme sa fille, et il l'aimait comme sa mère, et il l'aimait comme sa sœur; et, comme il n'avait jamais eu ni amante ni épouse, comme la nature est un créancier qui n'accepte aucun protêt, ce sentiment-là aussi" etc.; I personally think this is a key to their relationship and tip my hat to the adaptation for pulling it, but the repetition of aimait, aimait, aimait—well, you're telling me about it, but I don't see it.
I enjoyed all the Amis sequences—they're charming, they're fun, the contrast with Marius' grim boy sulk is comedic. Also, Jean-Luc Boutté is no Thetis, but those eyes and lips make him a more suitable Enjolras than some, eh?
Combeferre's "être libre" is delivered with zero mercy, but in his defense, Marius shouted in his face.
Shoutout to Lucien Nat as a solid Gillenormand, or "Gillenarmand" per the credits. His behavior is per the Brick, and where the novel softens his abusiveness by describing unexpressed love for Marius, the narrator of '72 does not chime in, and we are left with what we see. BBC 2018 and '25 chose to alter Gillenormand's behavior to reflect his interior state, which I think is a fair choice, but I prefer '72 on this. Marius' temperament, his explosiveness and depression, are a logical result of being raised by this man. In a way the grimness of this Gillen(o/a)rmand echoes the utter grimness of the '72 Thénardier.
The first ten minutes or so gave me an entirely skewed idea of where this show was going. We begin in IV.I.V—revolution! And we move right into the Amis at their most political, sending out feelers for support, Enjolras fanning the flame of unrest. I was confused, but on board. What happened, '72?
Obviously I'm invested and engaged—I wouldn't have taken the time to write so much if I weren't—but this is a wildly uneven adaptation. I'm quite anxious to continue on to part II and see what weird fuckin' choices are upcoming.

"Would it do any difference if I explained it? This simply isn't what I came to this cape for. We wronged them, they wronged us, and now we're doing even worse as if that solved anything. It's madness, they're not too different from us." The MeN did not LisTeN. "You gotta be shitting me. Not too different? I don't know if you got scales up your ass or something, but last time I checked I got no tail. A dead second cousin? THAT I have, so pardon me if I'm not in the mood for bullshit" --- ¿Haría la diferencia explicarlo?

Hello, welcome to my publication where I am going to try a little of this character of mine, although I admit that his story and appearance gradually changes until I feel satisfied with the story of the comic that I am still writing (and I don't know if I will release it very soon but I'm not in a hurry to show it since this comic is a hobby and I want to enjoy it)
I have warned that this character is a little wild and the truth is that she believes him to be a couple and also an Antagonist so she has a slightly toxic attitude and also believes her with every intention of being sexy or minimal without shame
I warn that I am going to live contradicting myself, I am still not clear about what I want with this character
This is like Keyla's human appearance (since in my story Ben is supposed to know her with this appearance) in my mind she is a mixed race girl although I like to think that she has a lot of Latina, she takes this appearance to blend in people and live a life of inconict
Keyla is a Bisexual or Pansexual person and a little aromantic, she had several partners throughout her life and was involved with women and men from different alien species, although she is the type that does not like commitments, she has the idea who is a free spirit (all the drawings are based on randown ideas or role-playing games that I had with friends)
Despite being such an extroverted and conceited girl, the truth is that Keyla has many insecurities regarding her appearance and her abilities and these increase when she meets other Revonnahgader who seem (in Keyla's eyes) to be better than her in every aspect and That makes Keyla work harder to improve her appearance and conictive skills.
Keyla is generally shown as someone who is disrespectful, indifferent, irrational, and has a tendency to change her mood easily. She has a knack for reading people and telling them what they want to hear. She is generally playing a character so you will rarely see her true essence. because she doesn't trust anyone enough to show herself as she is, and it's easier for her to be someone else to please and win over people and get what she wants than to simply be herself.

Hello, It's been a month when I've finished this one and I was too lazy to publish it, I'm being honest lol. It was one of my personal porject that I wanted to do for a long time and it is the beginning of a project's serie of fanarts as a "draw it in your style" ! I know that I'm not very active but many things have been happening lately in my life, but I'm trying to keep motivation despite my real life ! So here it is, a fanart drawing of Howl's Moving Castle, one of my favorite movie from the Studio Ghibli ! I wanted to reproduce in live on Twitch some of the most popular scene, and I will do others from differents movie from the same animation studio ! I'm particulary proud of this drawing, I feel that I'm improving even if I can do better concerning my colo, which keep my nemesis in drawing, lol. I really like the mood that I created, with such pretty colors, and the faces too, I am even more in love with Howl ! I think that I gave them a good look during the two hours from my live on Twitch ! You can find me ion the links that I've shared on my Story, I'm telling each time I'm doing streaming to talk and show how I'm drawing if this is interesting for someone. It's not quite regular but I don't have any obligations so I'm doing what I want, nah ! I hope you like it as much as I do ! Kiss !

Seductive Scents: The Perfect Perfume for Valentine's Day
A captivating fragrance can enhance the magic of the evening, leaving an unforgettable impression. With countless options available, choosing the perfect perfume can be overwhelming. Let's explore the world of fragrances and discover the ideal scent to make your Valentine's Day truly unforgettable.
Understanding the Language of Perfume
Before diving into specific fragrances, it's essential to grasp the basics of perfume composition. A perfume is typically structured in three layers:
Top notes: The initial scent you experience, often light and fresh. Heart notes: The middle notes that develop as the top notes fade, forming the core of the fragrance. Base notes: The long-lasting foundation of the perfume, emerging after several hours. Understanding these layers will help you choose a fragrance that aligns with your desired mood and occasion.
Classic and Romantic Fragrances
For a timeless and elegant Valentine's Day, classic and romantic fragrances are an excellent choice. These perfumes exude femininity and sophistication, creating an aura of allure.
Floral: Feminine and romantic, floral perfumes are synonymous with love and passion. Roses, jasmine, and lily-of-the-valley are quintessential floral notes that evoke feelings of romance. Consider iconic fragrances like Chanel No. 5, Dior J'adore, or Lancôme La Vie Est Belle. Oriental: Sensual and mysterious, oriental perfumes blend warm spices, woods, and resins to create a captivating aura. These fragrances are perfect for a sultry and intimate evening. Popular options include Tom Ford Black Orchid, Yves Saint Laurent Black Opium, and Givenchy L'Interdit. Fresh and Flirtatious Fragrances
If you prefer a lighter, more playful vibe for your Valentine's Day, fresh and flirty fragrances are the way to go. These scents are youthful, energetic, and perfect for creating a carefree and romantic atmosphere.
Fruity: Sweet and charming, fruity perfumes are ideal for a fun and bubbly Valentine's Day. Consider fragrances with notes of berries, citrus, or peach, such as Lancôme La Vie Est Belle L'Eclat, Marc Jacobs Daisy, or Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue. Aquatic: Fresh and clean, aquatic perfumes evoke the feeling of the ocean, creating a sense of serenity and relaxation. These fragrances are perfect for a romantic dinner by the water or a spa-like experience at home. Popular options include Davidoff Cool Water, Calvin Klein Eternity, and Versace Blue Jeans. Woody and Sensual Fragrances For a more intense and seductive Valentine's Day, woody and sensual fragrances can be a powerful choice. These perfumes exude confidence and sophistication, creating an alluring and mysterious atmosphere.
Woody: Earthy and masculine, woody perfumes often feature notes of cedar, sandalwood, or patchouli. While traditionally associated with men, many women find these fragrances incredibly alluring. Consider fragrances like Dior Sauvage, Creed Aventus, or Le Labo Santal 33. Amber: Warm and comforting, amber-based perfumes create a sensual and inviting aura. They often blend with other notes like vanilla, musk, and spices to create a luxurious and sophisticated fragrance. Dossier Perfumes: Affordable Luxury Dossier Perfumes has gained popularity for offering high-quality, designer-inspired fragrances at a fraction of the price. Their extensive collection includes a wide range of scents, from classic florals to modern orientals. If you're looking for an affordable yet luxurious option for Valentine's Day, Dossier is definitely worth considering.
Tips for Choosing the Perfect Perfume Consider your partner's preferences: Choose a fragrance that aligns with their taste and personality. Test the fragrance on your skin: Scents can change based on body chemistry, so it's essential to test the perfume before purchasing. Layer your perfumes: Experiment with different fragrance combinations to create a unique and personalized scent. Consider the occasion: The type of Valentine's Day you're planning will influence your perfume choice. A romantic dinner calls for a different fragrance than a casual date night. Pay attention to longevity: Ensure your perfume lasts throughout the evening. Remember, the perfect perfume is the one that makes you feel confident and beautiful. Experiment with different fragrances and find the one that captures the essence of your Valentine's Day.

🇫🇷 Coucou,

*Around January of 1956, Francis Wolf met Reid Miles, a commercial artist who was a devout classical music fan. They established a rapport. Beginning with Blue Note’s ninth inch album, Reid Miles became the designer for the label for the next eleven years. Alfred Lion and Francis Wolff described the mood and intent of each album then Miles created wonderful graphic covers that were different from each other but retained that indefinable BlueNote look.

Welcome to the 43rd installment of 15 Weeks of Phantom, where I post all 68 sections of Le Fantôme de l’Opéra, as they were first printed in Le Gaulois newspaper 113 yeas ago.
In today’s installment, we have Chapter 17, "Christine ! Christine !" ("Christine! Christine!"), as well as Part I of Chapter 18, "Révélations étonnantes de Mme Giry, relatives à ses relations personnelles avec le fantôme de l’Opéra" ("Mme Giry’s Astonishing Revelations, Regarding Her Personal Relations with the Phantom of the Opera").
This section was first printed on Tuesday, 30 November, 1909.
For anyone following along in David Coward’s translation (the link is to the Kindle edition on Amazon US), the text starts in Chapter 16 with, “Following Christine Daaé's startlingly phantasmagoric disappearance, Raoul's first thought had been to suspect Erik,” and goes to Chapter 17, “…in which Messrs Richard and Moncharmin had locked themselves for reasons still unclear to the reader which it is my duty as chronicler to keep hidden from him no longer.” NOTE however that the ending of this section in the Gaulois differs from the ending in the 1st Edition, since in Chapter 17 in the 1st Edition, Leroux summarized the events that transpired in "The Magic Envelope" (the chapter that Leroux omitted from the 1st Edition, for which I published the first English translation).
There are some differences between the standard 1st Edition text and the Gaulois text. In this section, these include (highlighted in red above):
1) Chapter XVIII was printed as Chapter XIX. This numbering error was made in Chapter VII, and was not corrected, so it was propagated throughout the Gaulois publication.
2) Chapter 18 in the Gaulois text is Chapter 17 in the 1st Edition, etc.
3) This passage appeared in the Gaulois text, but was omitted from the 1st Edition:
Que va-t-il devenir ? Que devient-elle ? Où est-elle ?...
("What was to become of him? What was to become of her? Where was she?")
4) Compare the Gaulois text:
Oui, Christine lui a bien parlé de cela !… Et il court, il sort.
("Yes, Christine had spoken to him of that!… And he rushed out.")
To the 1st Edition:
("Yes, Christine had spoken to him of that!… And after noting, alas, that the weighty key was not in its box, he nevertheless rushed to the Rue Scribe.")
5) This line was added to the 1st Edition, and did not appear in the Gaulois:
Le Persan !
("The Persian!")
6) In the 1st Edition, this section of "Mme Giry's Astonishing Revelations" was cut, and a section was added to summarize "The Magic Envelope." In Coward's translation, this added text goes from, "I have had occasion to observe that, over a period, the mood of both Directors had changed for the worse" and goes to, "The next time eventually came round… as it happened, on the very day of Christine Daaé's disappearance." In the Gaulois, Leroux wrote (highlighted in red above):
I will surprise no one in stating that MM. Richard and Moncharmin had not abandoned the hope of returning the first twenty thousand francs to their cashbox, which the Phantom had taken out. And to this purpose, they had not hesitated to risk twenty thousand more. This is, moreover, a bold speculation, or if you will, a daring calculation, which is rather common amongst unlucky gamblers. The Managers had lost the first round against P. of the O. They hoped to win the second.
"May the second round go to us!" Richard had thus exclaimed… "I have advocated patience, my poor Moncharmin, only that we may better catch P. of the O. with his hand in the till."
The till, in this case, was none other than the magic envelope.
7) Minor differences in punctuation.
Click here to see the entire edition of Le Gaulois from 30 November, 1909. This link brings you to page 4 of the newspaper — Le Fantôme is at the bottom of the page in the feuilleton section. Click on the arrow buttons at the bottom of the screen to turn the pages of the newspaper, and click on the Zoom button at the bottom left to magnify the text.

🇬🇧 When the sun has just risen, it is possible to capture lots of different moods by moving the camera just slightly. You can get a silhouette on the solar disk, an image full of bokeh thanks to the dew, or this type of rendering by putting the sun at the edge of the image. #flowersandmacro #bokeh_addicts #greengrammers #nature_brilliance #ethereal_moods #cupoty #gottalove_a_ #nuts_about_nature #the_mirror_of_our_souls #the_gallery_of_magic #batpixs_nature #natures_moods #duskmac #angelandflowers_ #Colors_of_day_macro #top_macro #shootpentax #fiftyshades_of_nature https://ift.tt/HR1FvJT

Hi!
Merci d’avance! 🤍
Hello,
The conditional is the tense (technically a mood but now considered a tense) you use to express a reality that only exists inside your head (wish, regret, hypothesis, reproach, softened request*) - I like to tell students that the plural -i- that separates it from the future tense's conjugation stands for "illusion".
Present conditional: subject would verb object. I would like to visit Austria one day! Je voudrais visiter l'Autriche un jour.
Past conditional: subject would/should have verb object. He shouldn't have been late.
The subjunctive is a little clown: it doesn't mean anything, it is simply triggered after certain locutions. Ex: Il faut que (It is necessary that) would be followed by tu viennes demain, not tu viens demain. How do you know? You memorize them, RIP.
Feel free to check the Nouvelobs' website to play around and get used to the conjugation of different tenses.
*your question was a perfect example of when to use the conditional to ask a question in a polite way. Je veux bien: I would be okay with, unrelated. Je veux: I want, too aggressive. Je voudrais: I would like, perfect.
Hope this helps! x

Alastember free for all week
My thomastair playlist
(I apologize for making almost half of this playlist taylor swift)
and the lyrics of each song that remind me of their story so far + speculation/my hopes for the future (and the explanation for the spanish songs):
enchanted - taylor swift
(them meeting again in Paris after the Academy)
Same old tired, lonely place Walls of insincerity Shifting eyes and vacancy Vanished when I saw your face All I can say is it was enchanting to meet you
simplemente pasan - morat & cami
(love song about two people always seeing each other at the same bar until they finally gather the courage to invite each other to dance) (I explained it terribly I know)
translation (I tried my best guys okay): Oh, what luck I have That I found you again in this place Because when good things have to happen They just happen
the louvre - lorde
(I'll admit this one's here mostly for the vibes and the title)
A rush at the beginning I get caught up, just for a minute But lover, you're the one to blame
gorgeous - taylor swift
(this lyrics specifically are literally them from Alastair's perspective during Paris)
And I got a boyfriend, he's older than us He's in the club doin' I don't know what You're so cool, it makes me hate you so much (I hate you so much)
paris - the chainsmokers
(Yup, a repeated song from my Alastair playlist)
If we go down then we go down together We'll get away with everything Let's show them we are better
un beso en madrid - tini & alejandro sanz
(yeah, this one's here mostly because it mentions Madrid)
(the song is basically about still missing this person you had a fling with and the last night they saw each other, also the last night they kissed, was in Madrid) (so basically switch Madrid for Paris and that's their last day in Paris, without the kissing)
translation (my best attempt at accurately translating it): I remember that it was so different with you so natural
does he know? - one direction
(yes, this is here only for the secret tattoo line)
Yeah, he knows everything there is to know Your secret tattoo, the way you change moods The songs that you sing when you're all alone Your favourite band, the way that you dance
cowboy like me - taylor swift
(“I suppose I’m asking if you’re like me.”)
Takes one to know one You're a cowboy like me
over again - one direction
(sanctuary scene, Thomas asking Alastair what if Paris was the first time they had met -> forget the Academy and let's start again)
And I will give you all my heart So we can start it all over again
the last time - taylor swift & gary lightbody
(Alastair ending things between them at the end of ChoI)
This is the last time, I won't hurt you anymore
easy - demi lovato & noah cyrus
(this is literally Alastair walking away from Thomas at the end of ChoI)
And the hardest part of leavin' is to hold the heavy breathing back From showing you how hard it is for me To make it look so easy
death by a thousand cuts - taylor swift
(again, Alastair ending things at the end of ChoI)
Saying goodbye is death by a thousand cuts
sorry - halsey
So I'm sorry to my unknown lover Sorry that I can't believe That anybody ever really Starts to fall in love with me
vas a quedarte - aitana
(the song is about the singer regretting breaking up with the other person because she was scared to admit she was in love, and swearing that she will do anything to to get back together and do everything right if they get back together)
(but the lyrics I'm going to write, I see them more from Thomas' pov saying that he's not going to let Alastair walk away again *cof* like in Paris and ChoI *cof*)
translation: You are going to stay Because I swear that this time I'm going to take care of you Our story is missing a second chance
afterglow - taylor swift
Hey, it's all me, in my head I'm the one who burned us down But it's not what I meant I'm sorry that I hurt you I don't wanna do, I don't wanna do this to you I don't wanna lose, I don't wanna lose this with you
the archer - taylor swift
Help me hold on to you I've been the archer, I've been the prey Screaming, who could ever leave me, darling But who could stay?
defenceless - louis tomlinson
this is from Thomas' pov:
Not sure how to say this right Got so much to lose Never been so defenceless (x2) You just keep on buildin' up your fences
and this is from Alastair's pov:
I hope that I'm not asking too much Just wanna be loved by you (Don't you be so defensive) And I'm too tired to be tough Just wanna be loved by you
begin again - taylor swift
I've been spending the last eight months Thinkin' all love ever does is break and burn and end But on a Wednesday, in a café, I watched it begin again
long story short - taylor swift
Long story short, it was the wrong guy Now I'm all about you
lucky strike - troye sivan
'Cause you're safe like spring time Short days, long nights, boy Tell me all the ways to love you
cornelia street - taylor swift
Barefoot in the kitchen Sacred new beginnings That became my religion, listen I hope I never lose you
home - one direction
And it's alright Calling out for somebody to hold tonight When you're lost, I'll find a way and I'll be your light You'll never feel like you're alone I'll make this feel like home
london boy - taylor swift
You know I love a London boy Boy, I fancy you
a dónde vamos - morat
(again, this is here because it mentions Madrid) (but also manifesting thomastair honeymoon traveling around the world, starting in Madrid)
(the song is basically about meeting someone in Madrid during the summer and falling in love with them at first sight)
translation: There's not a shot that tastes as good As your lips in Madrid And I don't know (x3) How I managed to convince you And I don't know (x3) If it was destiny or luck
