Ghost 💀 | Drawtober entry V.

There in hell standing lonely on a vast and desolate plain A gnarled tree spreads its branches, crooked, bent, and bare. They reach for help, begging; twisting as in pain, And on its bark a face deformed, mouth open in despair. Between its thorny crown you see a light begins to shape-- Hungry souls that swoop and circle; owl-like they wait. It lures you in with memories; there can be no escape, For the voices of your loved ones against you used as bait A shining beacon in the dark, its design to lead astray The foolish folk who come in close, within a stone's throw plenty. So don't be fooled, heed this warning, keep yourself away! The ghost tree and its hollow souls are black and filled with ENVY!
