the fuck of it is that the easiest cure for social media ✨✨skincare✨✨brainrot in my experience is to talk to women older than u in real life. ask a woman u know who’s over fifty and has beautiful healthy skin what her “skincare routine” is and she’ll be like well i wash my face every night and exfoliate with a wash cloth. i use a lotion from the grocery store that my doctor says is good, i get enough sleep, and i wear a sun hat in the garden

Delight- Heights. Saw a man fall from a mountain path by a simple strong wind when she was still working with a big smuggling ring. Ever since she gets the jeebies around long falls.

Iker- Being eaten alive. He's seen it happen and because of Back Story Reasons, so he would rather bite his tongue and die before being eaten alive.

So I was heading home with my coworkers, we’re all teachers at an afterschool program. We all also happen to be LGBT in some way but that’s an aside. My coworker was telling us about something that happened during our lunch period. We have this Girl Positive event coming up and today we were asking students if they wanted to sign up. It’s for girls but boys can sign up too. This one student said he wished there was an event for boys (we have one coming up but I digress.) and how he didn’t want to go to this event cuz he didn’t want to be gay. My coworker was telling us about how she talked to him about it. About how that’s not how sexuality works and such. After the story was done I made a joke about gay beams and how if you get hit with one you turn gay immediately. We shared a laugh about it. Then this lady on the bus with us asked if we were teachers also. We said yes. She asked if we’re teaching kids to be gay. I told her I was joking (as gay beams don’t exist) and she said “good. Teaching kids to be gay is a no-no. It’s an abomination.” My coworkers just looked at each other and started laughing. We laughed at her until she got off the bus and we told her to get home safe.
