Today's brainrot is: Kunikidachuu (kunichuuzai??) as Sinbad, Marina and Proteus because this film is my childhood and the original polycule:

“Do you...”  

Dazai’s question lingers in the air like the last breath of a man condemned to drown, his black eyes seem scared to look into Chuuya ones. 

“Love him?” Chuuya completes for them. “No Osamu, I care him, I like him, but I don’t love Kunikida. We don’t love each other.” 

With a gentle, gloved, hand cupping his face, Chuuya obliges him to turn his head. The grip on his chin is gently, but Chuuya Nakahara is a prince who always gets what he wants and right now, is sincerity and talking face to face with a thief. 

Friend. 

Lover. 

Whatever they are these days. 

“I can see myself growing fond on him in the future, I could grow to love him, but right now he’s just a good man I was meant to marry.” 

Chuuya sounds like a king already, talking with such an elegance and dignity, even if the corner of his moth turns upward in a silly smile that Dazai always has loved to see.  

“Was?” he asks, when the word registers in his brain. “You called of the marriage?” 

“Why should I tie him to a person he doesn’t love, just for a chance of loving him in the future, when there's someone out there that he already loves?” 

“What about you?” Chuuya is always like that, pushing himself behind everybody else, caring for the world and the kingdom but not for his own happiness. “What about what you want?” 

“My place is within the walls of this palace Osamu,” he calls his name with such a tenderness that Dazai wants to cry. “And yours, both of you, is sailing the seas together.”

I feel like I haven't wrote anythig in ages, I have +10 wips waiting for me but I tried to finish this one for Dazai bday It's my first Kunikidachu fic, and I'm posting it before the first fic in the series because I'm still working in that one I hope you can enoy this little mess, I tried my best
