Second section of my list

5.Danganronpa/Phoenix Wright: Finding the feeling again. Shuichi calls the Wright anything agency to help his friend Kiyo after he’s been framed for murder. Status: Not as goofy as my other ideas but not something I have the confidence to do correctly. I have done 2 chapters so far. 

6.MLP:FIM: Teenage dream: The student six have a prom coming up and even though they don’t all feel like going to it, they meet some characters that change their minds. Status: Another non-to-goofy idea. I have done half one chapter.

7.MLP:FIM: Taking life by the scales: Spike leaves the nest to see what it’s like to live as his own dragon. He makes friends, helps out some clans, and finds love. Status: Thought this up years ago concept wise. I even had OCs written down. I don’t hate the fandom but I don’t really care enough anymore to write for it. Not doing it. Maybe a quick one-shot with an OC in the future.

8.Hope for the hopeless warriors:The students of Hope’s peak help the warriors see the good in life before either Monica or Junko ever appear. Status: The first few chapters have already been published and it’s gotten good reviews so far. Need to update before the year is over. IN progress

Danganronpa tier listttttt

Idk if people know how I feel about these characters, so here ya go! This is my opinion, please don’t attack me for this (also I only did this for the mainline games and Komaru + the Warriors of Hope)

...Also I wanted to go into detail on some of these so yeah Warning: it does get pretty rambly

S tier

...I don’t really feel like I need to explain any of these. MOVING ON

A tier

Chiaki Nanami Please don’t kill me for not putting her in S. I can explain, I promise Don’t get me wrong, I absolutely adore her and love her relationship with Hajime, but I didn’t really get as attached to her as I did with other characters. I still love her though

Fuyuhiko Kuzuryu He has one of the best character arcs in the series, only JUST being outranked by Shuichi. Seriously, best SDR2 survivor, hands DOWN.

Ultimate Imposter Yep. Fake Togami outranks actual Togami by miles. YEAH I SAID IT! Idk, I found them a lot more interesting and likeable than Togami and it was a real shame they got killed off so early. They were pretty fun.

Ryoma Hoshi ...Do I even need to explain why he ranked so high? Like, come ON! He’s one of the most underrated characters in the franchise!

Hajime Hinata 3rd best protag for me (yes I’m counting Kaede shut up), but I still love his arc. 

Kiyotaka Ishimaru He was my fave from the first game for a while, but the Kiyondo stuff kinda brought him down for me. And ngl, at times it feels like people only judge him based on his friendship with Mondo. I still love him though.

Mondo Owada Chapter 2. Need I say more. He’s a pretty cool character outside of that, too.

Komaru Naegi Just copy-paste my reason for Ryoma, it’s practically the same.

Nagisa Shingetsu Best Warrior of Hope. Hands down. I will die on this hill.

Kotoko Utsugi Despite being beaten out by Nagisa, I still adore her. She deserves the best.

B tier

Maki Harukawa Okay don’t get me wrong, I like her as a character, but the main problem I had was that her crush on Kaito kinda came out of left field for me. Like, she was a stoic unfeeling assassin and she suddenly fell head over heels for some astronaut that knocked on her door a few times. It feels pretty rushed (though knowing Tsumugi it probably was) and kinda brings her down a few pegs for me.

Korekiyo Shinguji “Why is he ranked so high!? He’s the freaky incest guy-” SHUT UP. Yes, his character was absolutely obliterated by the incest twist, but outside of that he is actually a pretty compelling character. (also if you look into his writing it’s pretty heavily implied that his sister used and abused him so judging him based on the incest thing alone is kinda odd ngl)

Ibuki Mioda She’s pretty fun. I’m not as head-over-heels for her as other people, but she’s pretty fun.

Celestia Ludenberg See, Ouma stans? THIS is how you do a compelling liar character!

Peko Pekoyama Please don’t kill me. It’s just that outside of Fuyuhiko she kinda felt......Eh? Like don’t get me wrong, I like her, but something always felt missing for me.

Nagito Komaeda My favourite antag didn’t even make A tier whoops- Yeah, Nagito is the best rival for me, but I’m not as head-over-heels for him as the rest of the fandom is.

Leon Kuwata PLAY HIS FREE TIME EVENTS.

Kiibo The “that’s robophobic!” joke kinda got old after the billionth time, but other than that he’s fun.

Aoi Asahina Her development is cool, but I don’t really have much to say on her honestly.

Sonia Nevermind Same reason as Aoi, but her relationship with Gundham is pretty cute.

Jataro Kemuri This kid deserves better and needs protection. ...I don’t have much other than that, though.

Monaca Towa This is gonna be controversial, but Monaca is the best villain of the franchise for me. Sure, she’s far from being one of my favourite characters, but she’s menacing and enough of a threat to be a great antagonist.

C tier

Kyoko Kirigiri Please don’t kill me. Like...She’s okay, but for a while I found her kinda......Dull? Idk what to say here.

Makoto Naegi He’s alright, but he’s the weakest protagonist for me.

Tsumugi Shirogane I think people are gonna agree with me the most on this. She’s a decent villain, but the "plainy plainy plain” stuff got REALLY old. (which is partially why I rewrote her entirely in DFTH oops) She’s better than Junko by a long shot, so at least she has that.

Kirumi Tojo She was okay until the nonsensical prime minister twist. Seriously, I detest that twist.

Angie Yonaga ...I don’t really have much to say on her. Like the Atua stuff got pretty old and I found her kinda annoying, but she has enough to put her above the characters I don’t like.

Mahiru Koizumi She kinda felt like a better Tenko, but...Uh...

Teruteru Hanamura Yeah, I don’t outright dislike Teruteru. Shocking, I know. His backstory and the stuff with his mom is charming enough, but the perverted stuff still kinda icks me out. It’s not as bad as Miu’s, though.

Genocider Syo She’s more interesting than Toko, but still not really that much there other than “serial killer that somehow got accepted into this academy but don’t think about that look how quirky she is!!”

Tenko Chabashira Similar to Angie. But the way she drooled over and chased after Himiko was kinda eeeh for me. Not as bad as Souda though, thank god

D tier

Byakuya Togami God, he’s such an asshole. Sure his development and the stuff he does is interesting, but GOD HE’S SUCH AN ASSHOLE.

Akane Owari She’s the most “why the hell are you still here” out of the survivors for me. Like, I don’t outright hate her, but a lot of the time it kinda feels to me like she’s only there for fanservice. (seriously, in one of her sprites she’s literally flashing you. Do I need to say anything else?)

Himiko Yumeno Yeah, she’s also pretty weak for me. Her development post chapter 3 was okay I guess, but it kinda felt too little too late.

Toko Fukawa Ugh. Sure, I don’t really like Togami, but the way she drools over him is gross. Sure she’s somewhat redeemed by her development in UDG, but other than that she doesn’t really offer much.

Yasuhiro Hagakure Didn’t really felt like he offered much other than “blatant comic relief who’s probably a stoner”.

Masaru Daimon The weakest out of the Warriors of Hope by a long shot. Sure, his backstory’s pretty sad, but his personality kinda grated on me, ngl.

Kokichi Ouma PLEASE DON’T KILL ME. Like, everyone hails him as the best written character of the series, but if you look closer into his writing it’s actually pretty bad. Not to mention the stans constantly excusing his actions because “uwu liar boy who’s gay for Shuichi” REALLY brings him down.

E tier

Kazuichi Souda He’s literally all the things people hate about Teruteru, but the fandom barely calls him out for it! Hooray!

Miu Iruma She’s basically just there for NSFW jokes. Need I say more. Also, why is no-one else talking about how problematic the maintenance scene was?

Nekomaru Nidai He’s basically just there for shit jokes. And that really got old for me.

Sayaka Maizono OKAY PLEASE PUT YOUR PITCHFORKS DOWN AND HEAR ME OUT! Look, I’m not gonna deny she was kinda cute, but what she pulled in chapter 1 was honestly really fucking snakey. “But she didn’t know about the class trial stuff!” So what? She was willing to use practically the only person in the academy she was close to as a fall guy so she could get away with murder and didn’t even bat an eye! Even if the trial stuff didn’t happen and she DID get away with killing Leon, did she really think everyone would be okay with it? Hell, did she even CONSIDER how Makoto felt!? Sayaka is a fucking snake! She literally USED Makoto!!! WHY IS NO-ONE CALLING HER OUT!?!?

F tier

Junko Enoshima ...Do I even need to explain this.

Mikan Tsumiki I really didn’t like her, even BEFORE chapter 3. Yeah, I said it. She kinda got on my nerves and the fact that they were playing her up for fanservice despite her backstory was really gross, and chapter 3 just made everything so much worse. Like, her getting her memories back and killing someone could’ve worked, JUST MAKE HER PLAN MAKE SENSE!

Hiyoko Saionji She’s just a fucking bully. Do I really need to elaborate?

Hifumi Yamada ...Again. Do I REALLY NEED TO EXPLAIN THIS!?

Makoto Naegi - takes Sayaka's hairclips and Leon's padlock necklace. he takes Sayaka's hair clips as a means of remembering her as a friend, and Leon's necklace as a reminder of what humanity is capable of, both good and bad. it's a bit of a mix of good and bad reminders.

Kyouko Kirigiri - takes Junko's Monokuma hairclips, mostly as a prize. she wants to remember what she went through and how it made her stronger, and also to remember that despite everything that she went through, she kept going.

Byakuya Togami - takes Chihiro's toolkit and Junko's tie. despite acting like he doesn't care, he really feels bad for what he did to Chihiro, and wants to remind himself of that guilt. Junko's tie is basically a war-prize, and sometimes he even wears it underneath his suits.

Aoi Asahina - takes Sakura's wraps. she never wore them, only keeping them as a memento of her closest friend. it's a reminder of the sacrifice that she made and the love she had in her heart for all of her classmates.

Yasuhiro Hagakure - takes shards of the crystal ball Leon used, and Hifumi's broken glasses. he spent good fucking money on that crystal ball and he's not gonna let that go to waste. but fr he just wants to have that reminder. honestly he just kinda grabbed Hifumi's glasses instinctually for some reason, and then ended up actually getting a pair similar to them later on.

Touko Fukawa - takes some of the rope from Chihiro's body and a shard of the bottle that hit Sakura. the shard was taken as Syo, but the rope was taken by her. it's a reminder of her guilt for hurting Sakura, as well as the stigma that came with being outed as having DID. after UDG she's holding on to one of Kotoko's devil horn headbands and a piece of leather from Jataro's mask.

Hajime Hinata - takes Nagito's jacket and Chiaki's hair clip. he feels responsible for the deaths of everyone in the Neo World Program, and as such probably took little trinkets from every single case, but he particularly wanted to keep Nagito and Chiaki close to him.

Akane Owari - takes some of Nekomaru's chains, and holds on to a skewer of Teruteru's. Nekomaru's chains are a reminder of him and their friendship, whereas she really doesn't like Teruteru, but she enjoyed his food so much that she almost missed him by proxy.

Fuyuhiko Kuzuryuu - takes Peko's bamboo sword and one of Ibuki's guitar picks. he also probably has a photo from Mahiru. all of them are guilt-based memoirs. he feels guilty for being rude to Ibuki after she held an entire concert in his honor, which is why he keeps one of her picks with him.

Sonia Nevermind - takes Gundam's scarf (along with the Dark Devas) and Chiaki's hoodie. they were two of her closest friends, and she wants to remember them always. she promised to take care of the Devas, and has been such a good owner to them since.

Kazuichi Souda - takes a piece of Mechamaru and Gundam's earring. as much as he wants to say that he hated Gundam, he really did think that they could've been good friends, and feels guilty for putting Sonia and Gundam under so much stress and scrutiny for being close. he also really wanted to keep a part of Nekomaru, and felt like keeping a piece of Mechamaru was best.

Komaru Naegi - takes Nagisa's scarf, Masaru's headphones, and Yuta's jacket. she also keeps a pair of Syo's scissors, despite Syo still being alive. she was tempted to keep Monaca's headband, but decided against it.

Kyousuke Munakata - takes Juzo's jacket and the knife that Chisa used to stab herself. they're both his personal reminders that he can't save everyone, even if they're close to him. he also uses them to remind himself about the love that comes from others, and how despite all of his wrongdoings, he deserves it.

Ryouta Mitarai - takes Tengan's coat and Bandai's straw hat. he keeps Tengan's coat despite knowing that he had manipulated him into trying to brainwash the world, simply because he still feels guilty. Bandai's hat is just a reminder of the kindness in the world, and the hope that exists without needing to implant it.

Shuuichi Saihara - takes Kaito's jacket and Kaede's hair clips. for the v3 survivors, i equate them with 3 ways of coping with trauma. Shuuichi is reminiscence, and is by far the healthiest of the 3, keeping Kaito and Kaede with him as a reminder to keep pushing forward and to make the world a better place.

Maki Harukawa - takes Hoshi's hat and Ouma's neck kerchief. Maki is repentance, and is the least healthy in terms of coping. she feels like she condemned them both to death, and has that on her conscience almost always. she wanted to take something of Kaito's, but decided against it, as a way of keeping herself in pain, almost.

Himiko Yumeno - takes Angie's jacket and Tenko's hair accessory. Himiko is regret, and is coping in a regressive manner. she feels guilty for not spending more time and being nicer to Tenko, and feels sad that her close friendship with Angie made her a target in Korekiyo's eyes. she thought about taking Shinguuji's mask, but decided against it after realizing that it would make her taking Angie and Tenko's keepsakes feel less impactful.

2. Favorite protagonist?

I really like Hajime! I like his sarcasm, it's a nice change from the three optimist protags we have (Makoto, Komaru and Kaede).

10. What would be your ultimate title?

Either the Ultimate Artist or the Ultimate Fangirl. The second one's probably closer lol

16. Your absolute BROTP?

I absolutely adore Kazuichi and Hajime's friendship dynamic. By extension, I once saw a comic of Izuru and Despair! Kazuichi and it was amazing!

18. Favorite rare ship?

A big one is actually Celestia and Yasuhiro (obviously when they're a little bit older)! I don't remember why, but I think they would have a fun dynamic.

19. Who do you think is an underrated character?

Celestia probably, she's so pretty! And Korekiyo for the same reason, but I know he makes some people uncomfortable.

58. V3 Pregame! headcanon?

Korekiyo's sister was based on an ex girlfriend he had, who was rather... toxic. He joined Danganronpa because if he died, he wouldn't have to try and break up with her.

79. Which character has the cutest design?

I feel like this may be very literal, but Kotoko's adorable! I like the little demon horns and ribbons, and the fact that everything's pink makes it even better!

85. Could you be a DR Protag?

If I became a DR protag, I would be like Shuichi where I'm way out of my comfort zone and don't even want to do it. So, probably not! I'm too socially awkward and antisocial!

kotoko and korekiyo friendship

headcannons time

at first kotoko probably thought korekiyo would be creepy

korekiyo was definitely confused why a pink kid wanted to hang out with him

after they start hanging out kotoko is the one always starting something and korekiyo getting dragged in by kotoko somehow, ex. kotoko and kazuichi get into a fight because kotoko said sonia looked bad today or something and kotoko runs behind korekiyo and in the end kazuichi got beat up by korekiyo

kotoko will definitely try to make korekiyo eat peeled almonds and try to make it his favorite food aswell

kotoko will end up staying in korekiyo's dorm a lot but probably sneaks in korekiyo's (i guess medium sized) bag to see what he does

kotoko gets jealous probably easily so when she sees korekiyo and gonta hanging out she gets jealous and comes over and then just sits in the middle of them.

kotoko helps korekiyo watch humanity but instead of watching is socializing and korekiyo hates it (i imagine korekiyo to be extremely antisocial and only have kotoko and gonta and maybe shuichi as friends) and it usually plays out as,

kotoko: this is boring can we go and just talk to them?

korekiyo: kotoko this is very entertaining then talking to them, just watch them with me *continues to look through telescope or something*

kotoko: come on for your sis?

korekiyo: ...fine we can go talk

kotoko: yay

plushies everywhere, mainly big ones but some small ones are there

when korekiyo first let kotoko sleep with him (more of kotoko sleeping on the bean bag he has and its very comfortable i swear-) i imagine kotoko just hears some of the weirdest stuff from korekiyo's sleep talking, and when he sleep walks she assumes hes possed and probably dropkicks him or something, bloody nose's arent nice

they both have thearpy, korekiyo goes to it more then kotoko but sometimes they have group session's

korekiyo works alot so he probably forgets to eat, kotoko usually makes him some cheese sandwiches or such and slides it near him

*kotoko slides the plate to korekiyo*

korekiyo: yes kotoko? *sees the plate* ah no worries im not hungr-

kotoko: YOU HAVEN'T ATE IN 3 DAYS! HOW ARE YOU NOT HUNRGY?

when kotoko is tired korekiyo carries her back to the dorm

korekiyo is very protective of kotoko in crowds or anywhere he just is protective

when kotoko gets hurt like scrapes her knee or something korekiyo will panic and kotoko will be confused the first time and when it's in public expect embarrassment

kokichi will try to join in seeing they cause alot of stuff, lets make another scene with them causing something

miu: atleast im not the one who stalks people

korekiyo: atleast im not the one who acts sexual to seem confident

miu: wh- atleast im not the one who hangs out with kids!

kotoko: ok whats wrong with that?, he's not the one who sexually assaulted a robot

yeah something like that anyways, korekiyo probably hangs out with the kids (except monaca) and jatoro probably feels comfortable there because him and korekiyo both wear masks and both are a bit odd (in a good way)

(i kinda hc korekiyo as autistic) since kotoko finds almost everything cute she's shes gonna find korekiyo being autistic cute

i also think kotoko can be mature for her age at times
