This might have been unbearably hard on them, a finishing blow after the months we’ve all had. As for me? You probably knew: watching you go up in flames isn’t the hardest thing I’ve had to watch you do, really. In some bizarre, surreal way, it’s a logical conclusion to following the thread of your relationship to its one end.

Maybe I’m just desensitized to the bullshit that adepts of our House pull. 

No, the hardest thing might have been watching you two start that thread in the first place, when you two took your oaths to one another and you stopped walking next to him. It might have been when the Cohort sent the coffin back devoid of either remains or answers. It might–

I take that back. This might be harder.

a nice thing about the locked tomb series is that there are so many characters and plenty of minor background ones which means you can have a locked tomb glup shitto. mine is kiana, camilla’s older half sister <3

I've been thinking abt a modern au where the reverend parents survive & marry closeted trans girl harrow to slightly less closeted trans guy pal: she eventually moves in w/the sixth and goes no contact w/her parents (cam is also here and thinks pal's wife is cute)

im SO glad youve brought up arranged marriage and/or lavender marriage pal and harrow because i think its a deeply funny and underutilized concept. like yes its tragic horrifying etc but also theres something so so amusing about it. they are partners in crime. harrow could not be less attracted to this man. cam is also there.

i think i had another modern au at some point where palamedes was harrows pretend boyfriend so any time her family checked up on her she had a cover. and she only kept in contact for financial reasons, so as long as they thought she was living a good christian life they kept paying her expenses. im sooooo guilty of loving misunderstanding fics and i do think palamedes would be very good at being a beard. put that on his resume.
