From this friend of God (James 2:23), we learn that faith is not perfect character or integrity. Rather, it is simply taking God at His word. By doing so, Abraham became the model of faith for the believer. His life demonstrates how we benefit from believing what God says despite evidence to the contrary. ⭐️ ⭐️ Genesis 12:1-9 DO NOT FEAR when God‘s direction takes a turn you do not understand. He knows what he is doing. ⭐️ Genesis 15:6 BELIEVE God‘s promises to you. He knows how to bring them to pass although you may not. ⭐️ Genesis 16:1-4 AVOID striving to fulfill God‘s promises by yourself. Doing so always backfires and produces undesired results. ⭐️ Genesis 22:1-14 TRUST that God will provide as He promises. His nature is to provide.
