Kon, help!

Okay, so I'm here to say the very ugly things about period and I'm not going to sugarcoat it because we go through these things every month mostly without complaining so you can't complain about us being so straightforward about it.
Friendly reminder: PERIODS DIFFER FOR EVERYONE
Here is an incomplete list of the things a person who has period can go though (not everyone goes through everything, luckily. Actually, I hope nobody goes through everything. Some go through nothing of this, some go through some of this but not through other things and everyone at a different level)
Physical symptoms:
Cramps: they interest our lower belly and they usually go away or get less painful with heat. So applying warm/hot (not scalding!) like a hot water bottle or a heating pad to the area can help. Some positions can also relieve the pain but you need to find those that work best for you a that time, they might not always be the same. Some food may help preventing the pain (I believe Rice is one but you might want to check to be sure and to see if there are precise rules regarding how it should be cooked and if there are any other foods). There are also painkillers especially for menstrual pain (I don't know what they are in your country, you can just go to the pharmacy and say what's your problem and surely they know what to give you. In Italy we have Buscofen, which is the one I personally use, Buscofen Act, which is the same but stronger, tachipirina, aspirina, oki, Nurofen, Spididol, etc. The active ingredients you need to look for, anyway, are paracetamol or naproxen or ibuprofen, and probably there are others. PLEASE ASK THE PHARMACIST, THEY KNOW THESE THINGS BETTER THAN I DO, AND ALWAYS READ THE PACKAGE LEAFLET).
Back pains: they interest our lower back and they too get better or go away with heat and the same painkillers mentioned before but targeted stretching and yoga can also prove extremely useful.
Headache: rest might be useful but mainly I go with painkillers (same as the ones I mentioned before but in addition to those in Italy we have Moment, Brufen, Momendol, Ketodol, etc.)
Acne: it can really be everywhere. I personally get it especially on my face and sometimes on my bottom and vagina. It's awful and I don't know any solution to the problem (so if you do please enlighten me and I'll love you forever) I just learnt to live with it.
Diarrhea: yep, you read that right! There is really no solution, maybe a diet with potatoes and carrots and rice can help but other than that I don't know. There are meds but in my case it is never that bad so I just go to the toilet much more often than when I'm not on period.
Constipation: a diet with a lot of fruit (especially plums) and vegetables and also yogurt. There are meds for this too but I never needed them so you might want to ask the pharmacist what's best for this. Note: I think most people either get diarrhea or constipation but I personally usually get diarrhea and still sometimes got constipation instead so again it doesn't only change from a person to another but also from a period to another.
Meteorism: switching positions to help the air out is helpful because it relieves the pain that usually comes with it but I don't know any other remedy.
Bloating: usually comes with meteorism but can also be on its own. I don't know any remedy. Probably there are some teas that can help make it better.
Fever: you know what it is and how to cure it, I'm sure but in case you didn't paracetamol (Tachipirina) is the way to go (again ask your pharmacist and read the leaflet, also make sure you're not allergic to the medication). To lower the temperature wet a tea towel with cold water or cold water mixed with vinegar.
Nausea: it can either be just nausea or you might actually throw up. I think there are medications for this. Also, keeping a piece of ginger in your mouth to suck on might be useful.
Dizziness: I guess resting is the best solution. Don't move too fast. I don't know if there is any other remedy.
Tender breasts: again no remedy that I know of. I personally wear all day and all night the comfiest bra I can find because it keeps my breasts from moving around too much so they hurt less.
Light sensitivity: personally I never had it so I don't know if there is any remedy. I guess it might be paired with headache.
Cravings: I guess some people might have weird cravings. Sometimes I'm just hungrier than usual.
Lack of appetite: just some people are less hungry than usual on period. Again one time you might experience cravings and the next lack of appetite, you never know.
Eczema: I know no remedy because I never had it but I guess there are some creams you can apply to make it better.
Weight gain/loss: I guess it is related to cravings and lack of appetite and bloating. I have no idea if after your period you lose or gain the weight you have gained or lost.
Horniness
Low libido
Emotional symptoms. I know no remedy but chocolate and in general comfort foods, cuddles, nice people, comfort shows, just comforting things:
Irritability
Depression
Mood swings
Anxiety
Happiness (never had once in my life on period but ok)
Confidence
Energy
Stress
I have definitely forgotten something and definitely don't know about some symptoms and some remedies so please feel free to add to this list!
Can girls pee when they're on their periods?
no we just hold it in for a week.
