Activist Girish Babu who filed plea against Kerala CM's daughter found dead, cardiac arrest suspected

Several public interest petitions filed by him have created a political stir in Kerala. The cases, including the Palarivattom flyover scam and the 'monthly payments' allegations against Veena Vijayan.

KOCHI: Activist Girish Babu (47) was found dead in his home in Kalamassery on Monday morning.

According to the police, the preliminary investigation behind the death suggests he died after a cardiac arrest. Girish was undergoing treatment for health-related issues, which he also published through a Facebook post last month. The police reached Girish’s house and started the inquest proceedings.

Girish has been living with his family in Kalamassery and it was his wife who found him dead in the bedroom this morning, police said. “It seems like a case of cardiac arrest. However, we can reach a final conclusion only based on the autopsy report,” said a police officer.

Several public interest petitions filed by Girish have created a political stir in Kerala. The cases, including the Palarivattom flyover scam and the ‘monthly payments’ allegations against Veena Vijayan, daughter of Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, hogged headlines recently.

He moved to the Vigilance Court in Muvattupuzha, seeking an investigation into the alleged bribe paid by Cochin Minerals and Rutile Ltd. (CMRL) to Veena Vijayan. However, the court rejected the petition recently. Following this, he moved the High Court to hear the case. Girish’s death came while the court was about to consider his petition today.

Girish, who sought the probe citing revelations by the Income Tax Interim Board of Settlement (ITIBS), New Delhi, named the CM, and UDF leaders Ramesh Chennithala, P K Kunhalikutty, and V K Ebrahimkunju in the petition, claiming they, too, received bribes from CMRL. Veena’s company, Exalogic Solutions, CMRL, its MD S N Sasidharan Kartha, chief financial officer K S Suresh Kumar, chief general manager P Suresh Kumar, and cashier K M Vasudevan were also been named in the plea

केरल सरकार ने आज कहा कि वह विदेश से आने वालों के लिए पूर्व उड़ान COVID-19 परीक्षण अनिवार्य किए जाने पर केंद्र के साथ बातचीत कर रही है और उस संबंध में निर्णय जल्द ही लिया जाएगा. मुख्यमंत्री पिनारयी विजयन ने कहा कि वैसे तो हम चार्टर्ड और निजी उड़ानों के लिए 25 जून से प्री-फ़्लाइट परीक्षण लागू करने पर विचार कर रहे हैं. लेकिन इस पर अंतिम निर्णय जल्द ही लिया जाएगा क्योंकि केंद्र के साथ भी विभिन्न संभावनाओं पर बातचीत हो रही है.

केरल के सीएम पी. विजयन ने कहा, “विदेश से लौटने वाले लोगों को यात्रा से पहले परीक्षण करना चाहिए और संक्रमित लोगों को स्वस्थ यात्रियों के साथ यात्रा नहीं करनी चाहिए, इसके बजाय अलग से यात्रा करनी चाहिए. हमने इसके बारे में प्रधानमंत्री और विदेश मंत्री को लिखा था. खाड़ी देशों के विभिन्न दूतावासों के साथ विदेश मंत्रालय संपर्क में है और COVID-19 नेगिटिव परीक्षण के प्रावधानों की स्थिति पर हमें प्रतिक्रियाओं को बताया है. हम बातचीत कर रहे हैं और जल्द ही यह तय करेंगे कि इसे कैसे लागू किया जाए?”

उन्होंने कहा, “राज्य हर उस व्यक्ति को वापस लाने के लिए प्रतिबद्ध है जो वापस लौटना चाहता है.”

Swapna Suresh, the prime accused in the Kerala gold smuggling case, has now alleged that three senior CPI(M) leaders sought sexual favours from her. Talking to Manorama News on Friday, Swapna named two of them, former minister Kadakampalli Surendran and former Speaker P. Sreeramakrishnan, calling the womanisers. She added that she refused their advances as she was in a powerful position, but ordinary woman will be forced to give in to their demands.

“Womanizer, pathetic, childish, cheap, frustrated gentlemen. How can they do such things while being ministers? The Police and the Crime Branch should monitor the phones of ministers. People like Sreeramakrishnan are frustrated,” Swapna Suresh said, according to local media reports.

“A separate platform should be opened for them to satisfy their sexual interests. Else, they will ask those women of poor families to lie down with them when they go in search of jobs. They approached me in a similar manner, although I was in a powerful position. Then just think of the plight of ordinary women and girls,” she further said.

In the interview, Swapna Suresh also claimed that she has evidence against Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan and his family, and she will reveal the same when the time comes. Namaskar. On August 17, the National Investigative Agency (NIA) arrested two ISIS operatives, Mizha Siddique and Shifa Harris, residents of Kannur District of Kerala.

Mizha travelled to Teheran, Iran along with her associate to go to ISIS in Syria. On the instructions of an associate, Mohammed Ameen AKA Abu Yahya, she created Instagram/ Telegram and Hoop pages to propagate the violent Jihadi ideology and also to motivate/ radicalise and recruit gullible Muslim youth for ISIS. Not only that, but she also radicalised her cousins Mus’Hab Anwar and Shifa Harris and was motivating them to join ISIS.

Shifa Harris, on the instructions of Mizah and Mus’Hab, transferred funds to Mohammad Waqar Lone AKA Wilson Kashmiri for supporting ISIS activities. She was even willing to go to ISIS controlled territory to join ISIS.

This news should not come as a shock to you – we at PGurus have been telling all along that Kerala is the Laboratory that is rich with talent in engineering/ technology and medicine and entities like ISIS have easy access to brainwashed youth.

Vijayan NAMED IN GOld Smuggling Case

In what can only be more damaging news for Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, he has been named by the Customs it its show cause notice on Gold Smuggling. Remember the detailed stories that appeared in PGurus on a Public Relations Officer Swapna and how she was caught smuggling gold into Kerala from UAE? At that time, the name of Chief Secretary Sivasankaran also surfaced but now it is shown to be a much bigger problem for the CPI-M government. The then Speaker P Sreeramakrishnan and CM, Pinarayi Vijayan are also now named.

So, what will happen? In my opinion, the best-case scenario is that Vijayan would resign, the concerned diplomats will be recalled to the UAE and India might extract a concession or two from UAE. But there is a rider – he might install his son-in-law as the next CM - after all, he is already in the Cabinet. If this should happen, Kerala can officially be declared as the next Kashmir. One “minority” community which was already ruling the state using proxies, will emerge from the shadows and bare its fangs.

What is mind-boggling is that the electorate of Kerala, which prides on being the most educated in the country, and a place where Politics is discussed 24x7, did not see the nefarious nexus between CPI-M politicians and some members of the UAE Consulate, who were allowing Gold to be smuggled using their diplomatic pouches. If there ever was an example of a frog being slow-cooked, it is the Hindus of Kerala. Dream on, dear Sanatanis, you are about to witness what “Secularism” is.

Back to the Gold smuggling

After a brief hiatus, gold smuggling will resume. We forget that UAE is so prosperous today because of short-sighted policies of India till PVN came along on taxing imports heavily.
