chapter 6: sweet memories 一 🍪

after solving the big mystery and feeling happy, ichi left the city of dulcinea and went back to the quiet countryside where her family lived.

a week had passed and she was happy to had solved the bread mystery, but she missed her friends and miss mint’s croissants she had eaten that day.

just as she was thinking about them in her room, her mother said a package had arrived for her from a town called dulcinea.

very excited and not believing the luck, ichi ran to the door and opened the package.

inside was a letter from miss mint:

"dear ichi, thank you so much for your help that day! i'm sending you a photo of our new employees! they learned quickly how to sprinkle sugar! i'm so proud! we had a small sale in the square recently, the whole town came. we introduced our new mice friends to everybody, their names are "tart" and "toffee". we made lots of sales and gave gifts to people who wanted to try our sweets but couldn't afford them! i hope you're well and remember us, because we remember you! we're sending you a small gift with this letter, hope you enjoy it very much! xoxoxo - miss mint and the bakery crew"

under the letter and the nice photo of the sweet sale in the square, there was a basket of sweet croissants sprinkled with sugar for ichi and her family.

ichi jumped with joy and took the basket to the kitchen. she told her mother she would go to the city tomorrow to buy a pink frame for the lovely photo of her new sweet friends.
