Letters from Christopher by Cheryln Cadle
** spoiler alert ** I am going to be upfront; I did not enjoy this book. I was not too fond of the writing style, and I was disappointed in the lack of letters between Cheryln Cadle and Chris Watts. I thought this would be more letters between the two, with the occasional blurb of context from Cadle, and it was not that. The dialogue was more one-sided, which left a lot of open-ended questions unanswered. I very quickly noticed that several passages seem to be copied from another book. Anne K. Howard wrote a book called Conversations with a Serial Killer, and it is excellent. Howard reached out to serial killer William Devin Howell, and together they formed a strange friendship, in which he confesses everything to her, knowing she is writing a book. It is so well done, so well written, and I highly recommend it if you haven't read it. For more details about the alleged plagiarism, checkout Kimberley on YouTube. She goes into detail, citing specific passages alleged stolen and provided a side-by-side comparison. She is also funny. Throughout this book, Cadle claims "research shows" or "research says," but she cites no research. She did not interview a psychologist or any such professional in her "research" of this book. For example: "On Saturday night, August 11, Shanann had less than 36 hours to live. Did she start to feel her life was almost over? Research has shown people do not have a clue." (Chapter 10, pg. 55, first paragraph, lines 1-3) What research? Who made this claim? What qualified human stated that people do not have a clue? This is an opinion. On page 57, Cadle states, "Christopher has an IQ of 140. The Binet-Simon Scale of Intelligence says a genius or almost a genius is 140 or over. Possibly his genius brain did not afford him common sense." Yet she offers absolutely nothing to explain just how she knows his IQ. Did he tell her? Did his mom tell her? His sister? Did she guess? How does she know that Chris Watts has an IQ of 140? On page 109, Cadle makes the statement, "Christopher shows signs of alexithymia, the inability to express emotions or to understand other's emotions." Yet nothing scientific to support that claim. No doctor to agree or disagree, or clarify or further explain. Yet, on the Dr. Oz Show (again, clips can be found on YouTube; part 4 is what I am referencing here, Cadle made it very clear she is not a doctor. So she should not be making such bold claims without a single iota of fact behind them. Chris Watts also says IN HIS OWN WORDS that he has never had a psychological exam. AND I QUOTE: "In answer to your questions, no, I've never had a psychological exam. If I were to have seen a doctor during my case, then anything I said could've been subpoena by DA's court. And the Asperger's symptoms do make a lot of sense, and I can match up a bunch of instances in my life that correspond with it too." Page 218. It would seem Cadle has obviously written something inquiring if Chris has Asperger's. Having both the letter was written TO Watts, and his response would have been really beneficial and appreciated. There were several continuity errors, things were repeated, and Cadle seemed to bounce back-and-forth between Cervi-319 and Cervi-219. On page 173, Cadle offered three definitions (sane, insane, and possesses), yet offers zero sources to where she found her definitions, and she asks the question "Is Christopher insane?", which again, I have to state that Cadle is not a doctor of any kind... and therefore unqualified to assert such assumptions. On page 204, Cadle bounces back-and-forth between Bella and Belle. This is extremely disrespectful to the victim and her family. This is something that should have been caught and corrected in editing. On page 205, Cadle says, "These grandparents have suffered so much. The pain they have faced is indescribable and a pain that even time cannot dull. Perhaps soon, the media will leave them all alone and allow them to grieve privately. People do not understand how cruel it is. They have not only had to endure their pain from their loss, but the pain the media and people who had some cruel agenda have made things even more difficult." What does she think this book is doing to these families? While on The Dr. Oz show, Cadle said the reason she did this (write the book) is that the family deserves closure, and she wanted to give that to them. Cadle misspells Rzucek throughout her book, which should have been caught and corrected in editing. She spells it, "Rzueck." A lot of this book focuses on the "dark spirit" that had a hold over Chris Watts... and personally, I think that is just a BS way of skirting full responsibility. He chose to murder his family. He chose to dispose of their bodies cruelly. He chose to lie about their whereabouts at first. He chose. He, Christopher Lee Watts, chose to murder his pregnant wife and two daughters. And the responsibility for those crimes lies solely on his shoulders. Just because he has found God, and asked for forgiveness, doesn't mean all culpability is relieved from his shoulders. I also have a mine and mine alone, that Nikki (the mistress) was more involved than Chris is willing to admit. In this book, we get it confirmed that Chris gave Shanann oxy in the hope of causing her to miscarry their son. When asked where he (Chris) got the oxy, he says that he will take to his grave. It just seems kind of fishy to me. This mistress obviously wanted to be upgraded from side piece to wife. So why wouldn't she help make that possible? Admittedly, I have not gone down the rabbit hole involving my speculation, so maybe that was ruled out. I honestly don't know. But I definitely think Nikki was more involved that Chris wants us to believe.

“ OI! Ultimate Nut-Free And Keto Approved Cookies
Anyone who lives with a nut allergy will tell you, it can be exhausting and disheartening to realize how many delicious treats you cannot have. Likewise, if you’re following the ketogenic diet, the list of unapproved snacks seems decidedly longer than the approved ones. Certainly, your average cookie is far from being keto-approved.
Thankfully we live in a day and age where ingredients are getting more intelligent and versatile, something Beyond The Equator has proven with their range of nut-free, keto-approved products. So you can still treat yourself without breaking your diet or risking exposure to allergens.
Why Make Your Own Low Carb Treats?
With even an apple using up most of your daily carb allowance while keto, it can be hard to find treats that are keto-approved. While there are a few out there at your local grocery store, they are heavily manufactured and full of additives. The best solution is to make your own at home.
By making your own keto treats at home, you are more in control of the ingredients and the nutritional content. You are also more able to ensure they are allergy-friendly and prepared in a nut-free environment. If you are keto and allergic to nuts, this is the ideal option and means you can follow the diet without even more restrictions on what you can eat.
What Can I Use In Place Of Peanut Butter In Nut-Free Keto Baking?
Peanuts and peanut butter are not strictly keto-friendly, a better alternative is seed butter, particularly 5 Seed Butter. 5 Seed butter is low in carbohydrates and higher in protein than nut butters, as well as being packed with essential vitamins and minerals. Simply use it one for one in baking to add the same delicious nutty flavor and moist texture.
Learn more about our range of 5 Seed Butters and their nutritional benefits here.
Which Flour Is Best For Keto Baking?
If you’re keen to make nut-free and keto snickerdoodles or other cookie favorites, then you’ll need to find a suitable flour alternative. While many keto recipes feature almond flour, should you have a tree-nut allergy, this of course will not be suitable.
Sunflower seed flour is the ideal alternative for almond flour. Not only is it similar in texture and color, but it has a nutritionally dense profile for added health benefits. Beyond The Equator Sunflower Seed Flour is:
Inexpensive, especially when compared to almond flour.
High in B group vitamins, vitamin E, and antioxidants such as phenolic acids and flavonoids. These antioxidants have been shown to improve brain health and help regulate weight.
Neutral in flavor so as not to impact the taste of your recipes.
Naturally sweeter than grain-based flour, helping you reduce the need for added sweeteners when cooking.
Similar in texture to almond flour or cashew flour.
Significantly higher in protein and lower in carbs than other flours, making it perfect for Keto or Paleo recipes.
It is vegan, non-GMO certified, and sustainable - using significantly less water to cultivate than grains and nuts.

There are so many incredibly creative keto recipes out there, but many will use almond flour. To make any keto recipe with almond flour or a nut butter safe for those with peanut or tree nut allergies

Incoming White House chief of staff says Biden planning scaled-back inauguration
Incoming White House chief of staff Ron Klain said Sunday that Americans can expect to see a scaled-back inauguration on Jan. 20 due to the continued surge in Covid-19 cases across the U.S.
“I think it’s going to definitely have to be changed,” Klain said. “We started some consultations with House and Senate leadership on that. Obviously, this is not going to be the same kind of inauguration we had in the past.”
Klain said President-elect Joe Biden and Vice President-elect Kamala Harris are “going to try to have an inauguration that honors the importance and the symbolic meaning of the moment, but also does not result in the spread of disease.”
“I think we’ll have some mix of those techniques, some mix of, you know, scaled-down versions of the existing traditions,” Klain added. “People have a lot to celebrate on January 20th.”

WHO Covid envoy fears third wave, calls Europe response ‘incomplete’
A World Health Organization (WHO) special Covid-19 envoy predicted a third wave of the pandemic in Europe in early 2021, if governments repeat what he said was a failure to do what was needed to prevent the second wave of infections.
“They missed building up the necessary infrastructure during the summer months, after they brought the first wave under the control,” the WHO’s David Nabarro said in an interview with Swiss newspapers.
“Now we have the second wave. If they don’t build the necessary infrastructure, we’ll have a third wave early next year,” Nabarro said.
Nabarro lauded the response of Asian countries like South Korea, where infections are now relatively low, saying Asia did not relax restrictions prematurely.
“You must wait until case numbers are low and stay low,” he said. “Europe’s reaction was incomplete.”

The joy of weddings is leading to the misery of coronavirus spread across America
The unholy union of weddings receptions and coronavirus has public health officers pleading with Americans to say “I don’t” to pandemic nuptials.
Between the Pacific Northwest and forests of Maine, all across the country, joyous expressions of love have become Covid-19 superspreaders, fueling the fall season’s deadly coronavirus spike.
“Weddings are so dangerous in this day and age, quite honestly you’re just asking for trouble,” said Ali H. Mokdad, chief strategy officer for Population Health at the University of Washington.
“Weddings are very dangerous at this time especially as the infection rate is higher and weddings now are happening indoors and not outdoors,” Mokdad told NBC News.
“And you hug your friend, you hug your family members, you do that. In many cultures, we kiss. We kiss each other. You come close to them, especially people you haven’t seen in a long time. You want to catch up. You’re laughing, you’re joking and yes, you’re spreading the virus more than ever.”

France to start easing lockdown rules in three steps

“There will be three steps to (lockdown) easing in view of the health situation and of risks tied to some businesses: a first step around Dec. 1, then before the year-end holidays, and then from January 2021,” government spokesman Gabriel Attal told Le Journal Du Dimanche.
With recent data showing France on track to rein in a surge in coronavirus infections, the government is under pressure from shops and businesses to ease restrictions in time for the Christmas shopping season.

Georgia Sen. Kelly Loeffler quarantining after inconclusive test results
Georgia Sen. Kelly Loeffler is quarantining after receiving inconclusive Covid-19 test results following multiple campaign appearances earlier this week, her campaign said Saturday.
The news comes one day after Loeffler, a Republican locked in a competitive runoff race that could determine the balance of power in Congress, attended two campaign events on Friday alongside Vice President Mike Pence.
In photos shared on Twitter, neither Loeffler nor Pence appeared to be wearing masks.
According to her campaign, Loeffler took two rapid tests Friday morning before the events. The results came back negative. She was later informed that her PCR test, considered the gold standard in detecting genetic material specific to the coronavirus, was positive.
She was retested Saturday after consulting with medical officials and that result was inconclusive, Loeffler campaign spokesperson Stephen Lawson said in a statement. Loeffler remains asymptotic and will remain in quarantine until receiving conclusive test results, Lawson added.
Pence’s office did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

California pub tries to keep calm, carry on with virus rules

SANTA MONICA, Calif. — By most measures of what keeps a pub afloat, the coronavirus pandemic should already have Ye Olde King’s Head on its last kegs.
The British restaurant and bar in Southern California has been battered the past nine months. The mock Tudor fixture near the beach weathered a lengthy shutdown in the spring, a destructive ransacking during police protests in May and public health orders that have required constant adaptation.
Gov. Gavin Newsom placed most California businesses under the most severe restrictions on Monday and on Thursday added a 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. curfew for residents that takes effect Saturday.
“It’s like every week there’s a different rule to follow,” said operations manager Lisa Powers, who has guided the 46-year-old institution through an ever-changing set of public health orders.
When the pandemic hit, the King’s Head had to offer its traditional British fare — everything from bangers and mash and fish and chips to traditional Sunday roast — for takeout. It’s now reopened as is the adjoining gift “shoppe” offering imported tea, biscuits, Marmite spread and British newspapers.

STERLING, Va. — Housing Secretary Ben Carson is crediting unapproved, experimental treatments with saving his life after he became “desperately ill” following his infection with the coronavirus.
There is no medical evidence that the treatments Carson cited worked.
A retired neurosurgeon, Carson said Friday that he believes he’s “out of the woods.” He disclosed that his wife, Candy, also had COVID-19, the disease the coronavirus causes. Carson tested positive earlier this month.
Most people recover from the disease, which has killed more than 250,000 Americans and sickened nearly 12 million, including President Donald Trump and members of his family.
In a statement posted on Facebook, Carson said he was “extremely sick” but saw “dramatic improvement” after taking a botanical treatment derived from the oleander plant. Carson said he has underlying conditions, which he did not specify, “and after a brief period when I only experienced minor discomfort, the symptoms accelerated and I became desperately ill.”

Zoom Security: Simple Steps For Employees, Teachers & Students To Stay Safe During The Calls
Zoom Security: If You Are A Employee, Teachers & Students, Follow The Simple Steps Here To Stay Safe During The Calls
Although Zoom operates at a quick pace to make its application safer, right now you can do anything to avoid incidents.
Zoom has had a harsh scarcely any weeks. Since the time detonating into prevalence, Zoom ended up shelled by reports of protection and security issues. These further provoked numerous to stop the stage, and digital security specialists to give warnings. Fortunately, Zoom itself seemed to pay attention to issues, roping in key digital security faces, for example, ex-Facebook security head Alex Stamos, and all the more as of late Katie Moussouris of the Pentagon bug abundance acclaim. In any case, while the security highlights are being incorporated with the framework sooner rather than later, there are still a significant number advances that you, as a client, need to take in the event that you need to shield your protection and information safe from being taken. By and large, these means likewise benefit as much as possible from the new devices that Zoom itself has reported for clients to embrace without anyone else. While the onus was to a great extent on Zoom to improve its application, it is additionally a key time for clients to turn out to be knowledgeable with essential security includes that ought to be followed all over the place.

Steps To Instantly Make a Video Call On Zoom Meeting App
In view of that, here's taking a gander at a couple of key advances that you have to take, if in spite of the security and wellbeing concerns, you despite everything happen to utilize Zoom for your official video conferencing prerequisites. Signing in and passwords: The main key advance is to guarantee that no outsider module is utilized to sign in to Zoom. By utilizing Facebook or Google, you basically interface your private records to Zoom, which expands the danger of your private data being taken if Zoom is penetrated and its connected APIs are followed by aggressors. Continuously guarantee that you utilize a remarkable client name and secret phrase. On the off chance that you are a participant, demand your host to utilize a secret key ensured interface, and furthermore utilize a naturally created gathering ID for each welcome. Once signed in, guarantee that you utilize a secret key secured meeting welcome, on the off chance that you are a host. This limits the danger of 'zoombombing', a demonstration where Zoom gatherings were barraged by noxious clients with racial slurs or obscene themes. In the event that you are joining a gathering just, attempt to not sign in to the administration by any stretch of the imagination, since joining just expects you to enter in the gathering ID and secret word. On the off chance that you are a participant, demand your host to utilize a secret phrase secured connect, and furthermore utilize a naturally produced gathering ID for each welcome. Steps for educators: Zoom expresses that educators should shun posting pictures of their virtual study halls to secure advanced ID. Besides, instructors are likewise demanded to utilize the 'lock meeting' alternative once all homeroom participants have joined the meeting. This is fairly like the physical locking of a study hall entryway, when a class has started, to guarantee that no unapproved access can occur.

Instructors may likewise compulsorily require their understudies to enroll their email addresses, with the goal that any unidentified email address of loathsome members can be immediately spotted and evacuated. They are additionally mentioned to utilize haphazardly created gathering IDs rather than their own, fixed gathering ID. This can support the instructors, and thusly all the understudies, from being found on the web and followed to dynamic gathering rooms. Schools can likewise have their understudies pursue official Zoom accounts, and just these records can be confirmed for utilizing the administration in a specific gathering room. To uphold further limitations, educators can forbid understudies to join an online homeroom before they themselves do. Different limitations incorporate incapacitating member comment, or debilitating sound and video feeds of members that might be troublesome. Are these means idiot proof? All things considered, not exactly. For one, Zoom is yet to improve its encryption standard. Zoom despite everything utilizes AES-256 ECB ecryption standard, which just requires an effectively understandable AES-128 security key to unscramble a bundle (or a greater part of data) that has been caught in the middle of servers. It is this that is vital to programmers discovering touchy client data, which they were apparently selling on the dim web. Truth be told, an ongoing report by Motherboard uncovered significantly progressively zero-day misuses on Zoom's Windows and Mac applications, which were purportedly being circled on the dim web for $500,000. In the following not many weeks, Zoom will move a more secure 256-AES GCM encryption standard, and in the long haul, are chipping away at a start to finish encryption venture The encryption viewpoint, combined with the way that Zoom utilized Chinese server farms to go information through, prompted clients speculating that Chinese digital undercover work operators might be tapping outside information with no responsibility. To offer some kind of reparation for this, Zoom has expressed that it will presently let clients select the server farm where their information will be put away.

Delete Your Zoom Account By These Simple Means If You Are Not Satisfied?
Zoom is additionally including a 'report client' highlight to boycott any 'zoombombers', compulsorily add complex passwords to distributed storage records, and make the information course increasingly straightforward to every one of its clients. On this present, Zoom's Stamos likewise as of late referenced that in the following barely any weeks, Zoom will relocate a more secure 256-AES GCM encryption standard, and in the long haul, are chipping away at a start to finish encryption venture with top cryptographers. This doesn't detail if Zoom will be adopting the decentralized strategy to totally get rid of any doubt of observation from its clients. While matters at Zoom can essentially improve, they are as yet a beginning. Meanwhile, on the off chance that you should utilize Zoom to make video calls, the previously mentioned advances are basic to be followed.

Orange County Reports 71 New Coronavirus Cases, 2 More Deaths; Sheriff Releasing Inmates Early
SANTA ANA (CBSLA) — Orange County Friday reported 71 new confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus, increasing the county’s total to 321, and two additional deaths.
The county’s first fatality, reported Tuesday, involved a 75-year-old man who was hospitalized March 17 and died two days later.
Of the county’s 321 cases, 75 residents contracted the virus through travel, 27 by person-to-person spread and 75 were community acquired. The remaining 73 cases are under investigation.
Most of the cases, 134, have been reported in the 18-49 age range, 76 cases involved people between the ages of 50-64 and 39 patients are 65 years or older. There is one confirmed case in a child under the age of 18.
RELATED: OC Health Officials Issue Warning Against Unapproved Coronavirus Test Kits
As of Friday, the county said 4,070 people have been tested, leaving officials with enough tests for 1,151 people.
Rep. Katie Porter, D-Irvine, who previously got the director of the Centers of Disease Control and Prevention to commit to providing free testing, said she tested negative after developing cold-like symptoms last week.
“I’m continuing to recover at home and hope to be back to 100% soon,” she posted to Twitter. “Thank you to everyone who sent messages of support -they are great fuel for fighting off this illness!”
Orange County officials also began providing more details on cases, including numbers from each of the county’s cities.
The cities with the highest number of cases as of Friday afternoon were Irvine with 33 cases, Newport Beach with 32 cases, Anaheim with 28 cases and Huntington Beach with 26 cases and Santa Ana with 13 cases.
“Case counts are not reflective of all disease transmission in any given community, because testing is currently prioritized for those at greatest risk or most sick,” David Souleles, Orange County public health director, said.
RELATED: Orange County Closes Parks, Trails; Some OC Cities Shut Down Beaches
Also on Friday, Orange County Sheriff Don Barnes announced he would be releasing low-level offenders with less than 10 days remaining on their sentence and inmates who the CDC defined as medically vulnerable.
Violent offenders and those who pose a risk to the community would not be eligible for early release, according to the department.
“The decision for early release was made collaboratively and is absolutely necessary to stop the spread of this virus and preserve lifesaving medical resources,” Barnes said. “During this unprecedented moment, with substantial pressure on our health system, we are taking action to protect those in our custody, reduce the risk to our correctional personnel, and ultimately preserve our mission to keep the public safe.”
Barnes and Orange County District Attorney Todd Spitzer had previously resisted early release of inmates, but Spitzer said discussions with the president of the union representing deputies helped evolve their thinking on the issue.
As of Friday, the jail system housed 4,580 inmates. Of those, 141 have been quarantined due to potential exposure to COVID-19. Fifteen inmates have been tested — eight negative, three positive and four pending.

Kissing the Corona Virus by M.J. Edwards
I have seen people talking about this book everywhere. So I looked it up on Amazon, read the authors blurb, and I only read this because a good friend of mine asked me to read and review it. This really shouldn’t be called a book, it took me less than 15 minutes to read. It’s more of a gross fan-fic that belongs lost somewhere on page 193846 of the inter-webs. I truly try to not say anything “mean” or “rude”, and I try to maintain a constructively critical view... But this “book” is really just a weird sexual fantasy, involving the Coronavirus (like literally- first as a test tube then as a man...) which I am still trying to figure out. The writing was over-the-top, and it is obvious the intent was to just write the most raunchy, grossest erotica... and that’s what this is. Do I feel smarter for reading this? Nope. Am I slightly embarrassed to have actually read this? Kind of. Would I recommend this to a friend? Not now, not ever. Making light of a virus that has done so much damage... and turning it into a sexual fantasy is weird and insensitive. There were some phrases in the book that were pretty offensive. I don’t know how this poor-penned “erotica” even made it to publication. But the title and ridiculous cover have been screenshots all over the internet, so clearly people are at least (in the moment) discussing this thing. Read and reviewed.
