Your name is KARAMA XIARIQ, and well...your life is pretty complicated.

You are a LIMEBLOOD, and those are supposed to be extinct. Your caste was WIPED OUT long ago, but apparently not to completion. You live on a HIVESTEAD at the base of a huge mountain inhabited by giant, killer birds. These “Birds of Paradise” had once stolen your egg long ago, but you were rescued by a giant SCARAB BEETLE and raised in the wild. You built your own hive and have made a cozy little home for yourself over the sweeps. You protect and live in the outskirts of a giant, dangerous FOREST separating you and the mountain from a small, lowdown COMMUNE. It isn’t all bad, and you visit regularly for supplies.

You currently live in your cabin-hive with a GRUB you rescued from the monstrous birds, as well as your lusus, Scarab, who actually lives in the cave above your hive. During your search-and-rescue of the little grub, which you named CELEOS, you happened to lose your right arm. It’s okay though, you made yourself a new one. Just like you made yourself a new leg all those sweeps ago. You raise Celeos, as well as hens and goats, on your hivestead. You’ve never been a lusus before, so you really hope this works out.

Abilities: As a lime they possess psychic abilities, Karama’s most notable being extrasensory perception (vast and strong senses when in use), as well as being more open to psychic communication, etc. Strengths: Very physically strong, decent speed considering size, low risk of infections or illness, hard-working. Weaknesses: Not super fast, a little too strong sometimes, easily guided by emotions when not detrimental to their safety. Strife: x2 War axes.

Likes: Spirituality, animals, nature, crystals, robotics, bugs, plants, being helpful.

Dislikes: Highbloods, seadwellers, big cities, laziness, pretentiousness, the caste system. Hobbies: Divination, collecting things, quilting, gardening, journaling, tinkering.

Piercings: Stretched ears, nostril piercing, double cartilage piercing. Tattoos: A tattoo of their symbol on their left bicep, with a tattoo of Celeos’s symbol right under it, but smaller. These two are accompanied by lavender sprigs, bones, crystals, etc. Scars: They have plenty, but their most prominent is one from their right eye, over their nose, and onto the left side of their face. They also have large claw marks going over their right pectoral muscle. Style: Very comfortable and practical, they need to be able to move easily and be ready to get dirty. When dressing up for an event they still dress rather simple and in neutral or greyscale colours. Secretly loves sheer, flowy clothing and jewelry.

Setting: Karama lives in a cabin-hive, built by themself, at the base of a hulking mountain inhabited by giant, predatory birds called “birds of paradise”. Their cabin-hive is a part of their hivestead which includes farmland for crops, a barn and chicken coop, a well, a furnace and smelter, and other such necessities. The mountain and their hive are surrounded by a giant, untouched forest filled with large creatures, cave systems, and trees reaching incredible heights. Across the forest from their hive is a small community of mostly low blooded and outcasted trolls. They sometimes venture there to purchase supplies.

Background: Karama’s egg was stolen by none other than a bird of paradise, but later recovered by their current lusus. They live off the grid and have never moved out of the general area. Their lusus sheltered them from the outside world, protecting them from not only the inevitable draft most trolls endure, but also from culling as they are a lime blood.

Karama lost their left leg, right arm, and right eye during various trips onto the mountain in search for resources. They’d vowed never to return up the mountain again until they spotted a bird of paradise carrying another troll egg back to its nest, undoubtedly to eat it. Karama couldn’t let the egg die just like they almost did, so they once more set forth on a journey into the land of the birds. They successfully rescued the egg, but lost their right arm in the process. During a long period of recovery they built a new arm, and during this time the egg hatched. A gold blooded grub was born, which Karama named Kravitz and granted the symbol of another beetle which they soon after had tattooed onto them underneath their own scarab symbol. Karama is now in the process of saving and planning to move east into the valley to become a shepherd, where they can raise Kravitz safely in a bigger, more suitable hive and continue to care for their lusus.
