Day 27 : Someone who inspires me

Hai again 👋 gilaaaaa 4 hari lagi kelaaaaar aaaaaaaaaaaaa 😂😂😂 keren banget aku wkwk 😂

Hari ini bahas soal orang yang menginspirasi aku yaa? Sebenernya ada banyak bangeeeeet. Jadi bahas beberapa aja biar adil wkwkwk 😂. Secara garis besar, mostly orang-orang yang menginspirasi aku adalah a WOMAN. Yes, i love being a woman. Aku tau kehidupan jadi seorang perempuan ngga pernah mudah tapi aku juga sadar kalau perempuan di desain untuk jadi makhluk yang hangat, lembut, penuh kasih dan kuat. Coba liat perempuan disekelilingmu. Ibumu, kakak/adikmu, pacarmu, istrimu, dan perempuan di sekelilingmu. Semuanya perempuan kuat.

Aku selalu mikir jadi perempuan aja udah keren, apalagi kalo jadi perempuan yang terdidik, cerdas, punya mimpi, like imagine 🙌 ada banyak banget perempuan yang menginspirasi aku sebenernya. Gabisa disebutin semuanya tapi yang jelas mereka semua bener-bener bukti kalo perempuan has so much power as much as love.

Salah satu perempuan yang menginspirasi aku ya Taylor Swift. Orang awam mungkin liat dia cuma sebagai musisi yang bikin lagu menye-menye tentang putus cinta. Agak pengen ketawa sebenernya kalo denger itu karena ya itu makin membuktikan kalo patriarki emang sangat sulit diberantas 😂. I mean, berapa banyak laki-laki yang bikin lagu cinta menye-menye dan dikritik? LITERALLY NGGA ADA. Taylor swift tuh bukti kalo perempuan itu bisa dapetin mimpinya walaupun dia harus kerja 2x lipat dari laki-laki.

Taylor Swift di kritik kalo suaranya jelek lah, lagunya isinya soal cinta doang lah, fake karena selalu merasa kaget tiap menang award lah, dancenya awkward lah. Coba deh berapa banyak musisi cowo yang dikritik kaya gitu? Ngga ada wkwkwk 😂

Coba deh liat perbedaan konser solo laki-laki dan perempuan. Laki-laki konser cuma pake kaos sama pegang gitar aja udah bisa dapet pujian. Coba kalo yang gitu perempuan, pasti dikritik dibilang ngga cantik, biasa, monoton, membosankan. YES, perempuan harus kerja 2x lebih keras di berbagai industri.

Ngga usah terlalu jauh, kita liat dikehidupan sehari-hari aja. Pasangan suami istri sama-sama kerja. Mereka kan kerja sama-sama cape yaa tapi somehow perempuan dituntut tetep harus ngurus anak, ngurus rumah, ngurus suami, kayaknya kalo bisa sekalian ngurus kejahatan dimuka bumi deh wkwkwk 😂

Tapi ada ngga yaa yang pernah menuntut laki-laki buat tetep ngurus istri, ngurus rumah, ngurus anak setelah kerja? Ngga ada 🙃 our society are so fucked up 🙃 tapi yaa yaudah, thats why aku selalu terinspirasi sama perempuan-perempuan hebat siapapun itu.

Aku nonton dokumenter Taylor Swift yang judulnya Miss Americana. Itu beneer-bener ngebuka mata kalo Taylor bukan cuma sekedar musisi biasa tapi juga orang yang menginspirasi banyak orang terutama anak-anak perempuan muda. Dia ngajarin buat berani jadi perempuan yang punya mimpi. Dia suruh fansnya untuk selalu berbuat kebaikan, selesein sekolah, dan berani speak up demi keadilan. Such a power move from "just" a musicion right?

Taylor Swift dapet gelar Doktor Kehormatan di bidang seni murni dari New York University. Dia dateng ke acara wisudanya dan dapet kesempatan buat speech. SUMPAH ITU ADALAH SPEECH TERBAIK YANG PERNAH AKU DENGER!! Kalian bisa nonton videonya atau baca sendiri isi speechnya karena panjang banget tapi ini aku sedikit sertakan isi speech taylor yang aku suka.

Kadang kita salah langkah, merusak momen, merasa perjuangan kita ngga ada artinya, pilih keputusan yang salah, overthinking, ngga mikir sama sekali, salah ngomong, merasa bersalah, depresi, tapi kamu juga akan bertumbuh, menemukan lukanya, mengobatinya, dan sembuh AND THEN REPEAT. I think a brat (in the narrative archetype sense) can be either uke or seme (if that dynamic is in place). Although I recognize that in kink it is almost entirely a subs domain. Korea seems to really like a seme brat. Also worth noting, seme brats are usually paired with tsundere ukes. 

This is a fun character to watch but can push into annoying if the actor isn’t careful. Brats tease and make fun for the sake of it, specifically to get a rise out of their partners. But they aren’t malicious about it and they don’t have to be tsundere either. In fact, sometimes they are quite sunny (see Nampu in Top Secret Together). But if the push too much without showing weakness or affection, then they can come off as harsh and unsympathetic.

Okay so some of these are also other archetypes, but here we go!

Tagmo in Great Men Academy 

Mark in Gen Y (but not really in season 2)  

Duen in My Engineer (serious linguistic brat)

Kao in Oxygen 

Pick in Puppy Honey (asshole varient) 

Na in Tonhon Chonlatee (sunglasses variant) 

Nampu in Top Secret Together (kitten variant) 

Win & Team in Until We Meet Again (the rare pairing of the brats) 

Nuea in Y Destiny (spoiled prince variant) 

San in You’re My Sky (seme is a puppy variant) 

Apparently in Thailand brats have a tensity to be a bit flash with their clothing and accessories, or lack there of. 

This is a difficult character to act and still have be sympathetic. The brat has to be a little bit broken or a little bit fragile or a little bit insecure. There has to be a need driving the brattiness, which is why I think a brat like Duen (My Engineer) doesn’t work where a brat like Kiyoi (My Beautiful Man) or Team (Until We Meet Again) does. All of these are tsundere uke characters, but Kiyoi and Team both clearly needs something desperately from their semes, where as Duen just seems to be bratty for the sake of it. 

A tsundere uke who is bratty out of obtuseness, willful ignorance, or idiocy (yes I am thinking about Tine in 2gether) is a harder one for me to take. And there are a few tsundere uke who might cross into brattiness now and then but if their core struggle is about identity and the seme is being his usual aggressive  self, I tend to give these ones a pass and not really think of them as brats (Jin in Nitiman, for example). 

The brat can also cross pollinate with the autonomous uke. Another favorite archetype of mine.
