in my humble opinion, the key to finding our people is to approach things naturally and with an authentic desire to form connections. you can post personal ads & try randomly messaging people on fetlife or reddit or other forums to some degree of success, but in my experience i've met my tickle friends the same way i've met other friends in life. by SOCIALIZING :)

go to meetups in your area, attend munches, parties, and gatherings that are tickle themed. get out there & SOCIALIZE. and no, i dont mean PLAY parties where the focus is entirely on public play. i mean the vanilla events where you can introduce yourself to the community, make small talk, truly get to know others on a personal level before even considering BDSM play. people can sense if youre genuinely interested in them VS only talking to them to get something out of it. if you show interest in getting to know people, then you can start to build trust and help them feel more comfortable with you.

this is especially important for straight cis men. i have been hurt, abused, or used by several guys in this community and dont trust newbies, even if they have good intentions. i dont want to speak for everyone, but i know others share the same feelings as me. the men i've played with i have known for years (spiffy i've known for almost a decade!) and even then i asked for references from other people theyve played with. understand that we value safety, so if we dont feel safe with you, we will not play or entertain you.

also, to add on. dont make everything about kink. dont try to turn every conversation into an RP or tease. DONT MAKE EVERYTHING SEXUAL! nothing turns me off more than someone who pretends to care about me then tries to sneakily get me to tease them or turn the conversation kinky!

anyway, moving on. i know a lot of us suffer from social anxiety and depression, so going to events may be easier said than done. however, it will be much harder to form strong connections if you dont log off the internet every once in a while and engage in person. even if it feels awkward or youre worried people will think youre weird, at least you were brave enough to try. i went to a meetup in los angeles years ago by myself and was so anxious i almost stayed home, but i faced my fear & ended up meeting some of my best friends from the community there. trust me, its worth subjecting yourself to the mortifying ordeal of being known lol.

this isnt to say you cant make good friends online. ive met cool people from tumblr, fetlife, reddit, and even TMF. however, eventually i went on to meet these people in person and grew close enough with them that i felt comfortable playing. i dont think i wouldve felt safe enough to play with these people without meeting them in person first.

now i cant speak for EVERY person but this is my personal opinion mixed with experience and the best advice i can think of to offer you. please read it carefully & consider what i'm telling you. i hope you are successful in your search 🙏🏽

You've expressed the desire to keep the Brother's Keeper AU consistent with the general tone and age range of TOH. What's the motivation behind this? I'd be curious to know what (if there are any) Brother's Keeper concepts occupy your mind but will never write/draw because it's not consistent with the tone.

Honestly though? This is actually something I'm debating right now.

To be fair, there was never actually any particular desire to keep the TONE consistent with the show (I tend towards character drama rather than children's comedy), however keeping things reasonably PG, yes, that I was going for.

It actually stems from before Brother's Keeper. I used to draw Gravity Falls stuff, and I'm aware that when I make fan art it's often for animated content, which, when it's American, (unfortunately) tends to be aimed at kids. And kids are both interested enough in their favorite media to want to see art of it and fully capable of using google.

I didn't want to be an adult responsible for ruining a kid's favorite thing. (I also wasn't invested enough in making adult style content to try to hide my blog from search engines entirely.)

As it wound up turning out, some of my BK stuff does in fact turn up pretty quickly in google image search if you look for Wittebane related content, so I was right to be cautious.

Anyway, because of those concerns my rule since long before Brother's Keeper has been that when I publicly share fan art, it stays in the general range of appropriateness for the original media's target audience. If it's an R rated movie, then I'm fine with doing R-rated fan art. If it's rated G, then the fan art either stays G or goes behind some kind of privacy shield where it's less likely to pop up in a casual search without warning.

As far as BK goes though, more recently Tumblr has added better content warning protections (I haven't tried it out but it's nice to know it's there). And in addition, I've been spending more time considering exactly how I'm handling the ending, and have been toying with the possibility of going darker and debating where exactly the line is.

I'm sure I am and will be toeing the line regardless, lol. I'm not a big fan of gore and am not that interested in sexual content, so those aren't that likely to show up that much even if I went full Adults Only. But I DO like exploring emotional complexity, even when it gets very heavy and dark, which are things American kids media is allergic to. Where is the line when it come to "dark themes"? How heavy can your story be before it becomes inappropriate for kids, even if there's no risque content and all the violence is bloodless? How hard can I go with the violence before it becomes TOO violent, even when completely absent of blood and gore?

Originally I planned to wait and see how the show ended and then build around that. Presumably that would have automatically resulted in a child friendly end. However, unfortunately, I... don't really like the finale and don't find it satisfying for Brother's Keeper's storyline. Which means I have to invent something completely different myself.

I'm in the process of inventing that something, but lately I've begun to think that what I have in mind will have fight scenes and may also work best if I include some real world modern close-mindedness (for the purpose of paralleling Belos' old timey anti-witch nastiness.) There are PG ways of doing that, but if I go down that darker route I do find myself reconsidering whether it might be better to just lean into it and up the rating a bit.

2. What’s your total Ao3 word count? 423,411! Quite a lot of words, if I do say so myself 😤

3. What fandoms do you write for? A huge majority of my fics (and that I'm probably more known for) are for JSHK! Before that, I was dabbling a bit in Ensemble Stars, but the second most-written fandom for me would be Fairy Tail, the series that actually inspired me to start writing!

6. What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending? That's tough... I tend to write fluff so any angsty ending might just be those with character deaths... even then some of them still get a happy ending 🤔 But if I had to pick, then it's either Heaven on Earth or Fly Away with Me?

7. What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending? Again a toughie because I mostly write fluff lol. The first fic that comes to mind is farewells are not forever! Mostly because I was able to receive a lot of thoughts and feedback for this story in particular, so it sticks out to me the most 😊

8. Do you get hate on fics? I've only gotten two negative comments on my fics, and truthfully, I found their thoughts fair. Were they constructive criticism? No, but what they voiced was exactly how I felt about my writing, so I don't fault them for voicing their opinions. If anything, those comments helped me take a step back from writing to figure out how I wanted to continue with my writing/posting quality, so I have to thank them for that!

9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind? I've written some, but as I've told Hime before, you'll need to subscribe to my (nonexistent) OnlyFans to find out 😉

10. Do you write crossovers? I don't, but I see merit in doing so! Personally, I like to write for fandoms separately. There may be AUs, but never a crossover between characters from both series/fandoms.

11. Have you ever had a fic stolen? I don't think so? If I found out I did I don't know what I'd do apart from making an announcement here or on my ao3 profile saying I currently only post works on ao3...

12. Have you ever had a fic translated? Nope. Someone offered to translate my fics for me in the past to Spanish, but around that time there was a whole drama about how one writer/translator just used Google Translate. It got heated and I got scared lol, so I asked the writer who offered to translate my fics not to translate them and even added the whole "Please do not translate my works" thing in my profile.

As someone who does translation work myself, I hope that any translations are done with love and care and not lazily thrown into a translator. That isn't to say the person who offered is any of that, on the contrary I think they were genuine with their offer, but at the time I didn't want to get wrapped up in any drama so I stepped away from anything that could drag me into it.

I think I'm more open to the thought of having my fics translated now, but I might be picky or cautious of who offers/does them.

13. Have you ever co-written a fic before? No, but I find the idea fascinating! I have a lot of self-doubt about the quality of my writing, and now that life's gotten busy there's the whole speed and availability aspect to work around too, so I don't think I'll be able to write anything for now lol

14. What’s your all time favorite ship? I can't choose! My favorite ships depend on my mood lol One moment I may love HanaNene, for example, and the next it's AmaNene, or even TsuNene, or even HanaNeneTsuka! It's hard for me to pick one.

15. What’s a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will? Never ask a woman her weight, a man his salary, or a writer their WIPs u_u I've not found the time or energy to write, and currently my interest and motivation for this fic in particular is at an all-time low, but I want to finish Down the Plank and Into Your Arms. I try to ensure all my fics as completed for this account, so that's one promise I want to keep.

16. What are your writing strengths? Dialogue... maybe? More specifically, banter? That's one aspect of my writing that's often praised, so I think maybe that.

17. What are your writing weaknesses? I'd say, without a doubt, it's descriptive writing lol Sorry I've got no imagination or good words to set the scene, it just kinda fills itself in my head.

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic? I've thought of doing that before, but I couldn't think of a scenario that required anyone to speak in another language lol

19. First fandom you wrote for? Fairy Tail! Quality and pet peeves of mine for the series aside, it's got a soft spot on me for being the fandom that pushed me into writing fanfic.

20. Favorite fic you’ve written? Why must you make things tough 😭 As I'm sure you've noticed by now, I'm awful at deciding a single favorite of anything. BUT, if I really had to pick only one..! It's glass shattered, clay battered.

I think this was written the month before the Severance chapter lol It's an introspective fic in Hanako's POV and it's got some metaphors/themes that I'm proud of. Even after knowing what happens post-Severance, I don't feel like the Hanako I wrote here is all that different from the Hanako we know in the manga.

Others I'm proud of are I Must Think of a New Life and I Mustn't Give In, i leave you with all that i love, but i will never let you go, Love is a Race and I'm Stuck at the Goddamn Start Line, Roots Run Deep, Leaves Grow Bare, Happily Never After, and love like a rose!

I swear that last sentence is only six other fics even if it looks like a paragraph🤧i do like me some long titles...

Nonetheless... I still find it hard to forgive someone even if they prove me to have changed. Unfortunately, pain is harsh to wash away.

Strangers

Neira might not always say when she is uncomfortable with touch and will endure as long as it does not get out of hand, but that doesn't mean she isn't uncomfortable. She's generally not super touch-y, and with strangers she's okay with anything formal like shaking hands or greeting kisses on the cheek. Neira's also had kids ask to touch her ears before which.. she isn't super fond of, but there is worse.

Friends

Again she is not big on touching in general, but she will be comfortable with touch from people she trusts. She also won't ask for it directly but she loves having someone do her hair with or having her head massaged, it's really relaxing

Family

She can't really remember her family so she would be much more wary about touch than with friends, but still a lot more open to it than with total strangers.

Partner

She might not be interested in a romantic partner, but say if Neira had a QPR she would she would be more receptive to touch, though she'd ask them to be cautious with her burned side since it's rather sensitive

Still needs her space sometimes and won't always be receptive to lots of physical touch, but when she does she becomes an absolute cuddlebug (she's lowkey much more touch starved than she realises). And since She knows and trusts Alistair her boundaries are much much more pliant than otherwise

Used to be less averse to touch from strangers but has become more cautious since his time in Kirkwall. Will be okay with pats on the shoulder or being pulled by the arm and will even tolerate greeting smooches on the cheek when he has to, but other than that he'd rather keep his distance -- not necessarily because he is bothered by being touched, but cos he's learned not to trust strangers by default.

Friends & Family

Thrives on physical affection from his loved ones and is generally very comfortable with casual touch of any sort. His neck is an exception, not just cos he'd feel awkward about it but also because of the scars there (i keep forgetting to draw them but they're there x'D). Also won't say it but loves having his shoulders or back massaged

As in, in a is completely unbothered by touch, flop down in your lap, join a close quarters group brawl, share a bed without seconds thoughts, kind of way (doesn't mean she's oblivious or opposed to.. less chaste interactions tho, with proper consent ofc). Isn't too fond of having her feet touched though and doesn't like people messing with her hair, though she might be ok with it depending on the circumstances (Cole is always allowed to braid it or put flowers in it). Also has a somewhat ticklish midsection

Since they're pretty estranged, she would not be very comfortable with most touch, a hug would be the most she'd allow and even then only reluctantly. It's not quite as bad as with strangers but still pretty restricted

Take the amount of carefree comfort she has with friends, crank it up a little and add some spice. Since she's aro-spec it's mostly her attitude to physical touch that changes with a partner

I like to imagine that casual affection with Qunari is fairly physical in nature, and as a result Ari is pretty chill with a good deal of physical touch from strangers

He might not seek touch a lot per se, but some degree of friendly touch is still nice. Also again he's just very chill about touch in general.

He is close with his parents and appreciates their touch. Also: Affectionate Qunari head (and/or horn) bonks my beloveds <3

The Deuteronomy Siblings

For day 5 of Jellicle Week of Demeter! I usually hc Demeter as not having any familial relationships, she’s a stray with no known/living biological family. Buuuuuut, in one of my longtime AUs, she does have family. 

I’ve currently been calling this my mish-mash AU, because it feels like the most descriptive, yet brief name for this AU of mine. One of the primary aspects of this AU is the Deuteronomy family, which consists of Grizabella as the eldest child of Old Deuteronomy, then Munkustrap, the second eldest, and then Demeter and Tugger as the twins/youngest.

Even though I haven’t really talked about them that much, I will say that over time I have become EXTREMELY fond of this particular family unit, like more so than any other Cats family unit that I like hfdsjfhdsj. Anyway, enjoy some sibling dynamic hcs below the cut!

Demeter and Grizabella:

Everybody in the tribe looked up to and admired Grizabella in some way prior to her leaving, but out of all of them, Demeter admired her most. Griz being the only other girl in the family added to this, but Demeter always felt very connected to her sister. She wanted to be just like her when she was older, glamorous and confident. It’s for these reasons that Griz leaving impacted Demeter the most out of anybody in the tribe. Griz was her role model, and Demeter was so heartbroken over her abandonment that she left the tribe herself for a few years, before returning after she had more or less gotten over her grief.

Because of her strong connection to Griz, and because of her experience in living as a stray when she ran off, Demeter feels a sense of sympathy for Grizabella when she finally returns. But she still remains cautious and conflicted towards her sister until the moment of acceptance and forgiveness occurs from the whole tribe.

Demeter and Munkustrap:

Demeter and Munkustrap are by far the most mature and responsible of the siblings. They’re often in agreement with each other in family arguments, tend to hold the same opinions on most matters, and generally get along very well with minor teasing here and there. Also, despite Demeter being a twin (albeit the slightly older twin), she and Munk sort of share the role of middle child in the family. They both receive a little bit less attention compared to their very overly dramatic siblings (and both collectively shake their heads at Tugger’s youngest-child antics), and are pretty independent and self-reliant. When drama is occurring in the family, they’re both usually on the sidelines and try to stay out of it.

Demeter and Tugger:

So despite Demeter sharing many attributes with Munk, and being on common ground with him a lot of the time, she’s actually closest with Tugger, her slightly younger twin, out of all her siblings. Shocking, I know lol. But really, Demeter and Tugger are almost total opposites in personality. Demeter’s the level-headed, responsible one, while Tugger’s the immature, reckless one. They get on each other’s nerves quite a bit, but they do actually have a few things in common. Like many people, I’m quite fond of the idea of Demeter being very punk in human AUs, that’s her style to me, but I also imagine her cat form being very punk as well.

Despite their large difference in personality, I think Demeter and Tugger both enjoy and partake in punk/rock/alternative styles. In a human AU setting, I can see Demeter and Tugger having similar, if not some of the same taste in music and bands, and often attending concerts together. Outside of a human AU setting, I also think they both have a bit of a rebellious streak, it’s just that, in Tugger, that rebellious streak is much more prominent. But Demeter’s rebellious streak sure does show up every now and then. 

If Tugger has a wild idea, Demeter is more likely to support him and back him up than Griz or Munk, because she’s able to decipher whether it’s a good wild idea, or a bad wild idea (cause she’s rebellious, but also more mature than Tugger). In the same vein, if Demeter has a wild idea (and hers are almost always good wild ideas), Tugger has her back 100%. The two of them are inseparable when they’re on the same page and being chaotic good together. So they may annoy each other a lot, but they’re tight-knit and thick as thieves.

When mc asks him why he's so nice, he is a bit caught off guard by their question and genuine confusion - he doesn't actually hold any animosity towards the team, despite them breaking into his hotel room lol He's actually quite amused by that whole thing and will tease mc relentlessly.

He also finds it rather endearing, and wants to assure mc that yes, he's being nice because he genuinely likes their company. He understands why mc might be cautious.

When mc asks if they can trust him, being so fond of drama as he is, he loves teasing mc and just, not giving a straight answer. Thoroughly enjoys it. Does he want mc to trust him? Yes. Should mc trust him? We'll see 👀

So in prior seasons to me it was very easy to find episodes uploaded on youtube. However, as you may know release dates are confusing and often depend on the country that is premiering it.

Unfortunately Gloob has got their hands on most of the episodes thus far in season 4 and I just don't like how gatekeepy they can be. They tend to try to spoil episodes or mislead viewers if another channel premiere date is sooner, and worst of all they copyright strike A LOT of episodes on youtube and on other websites.

Here is the current website I use when episodes come out. If you are somebody who needs English translations then it can take a good amount of hours til they post that because those are people doing it out of the goodness of their hearts. They should have all previous episodes that premiered. That site does have pop ups so be cautious.

I live in the United States and Hulu in my country has all the episodes the premiered in English if you have that service.

As for blog recommendations I listed some right here from a previous ask, and I still recommend these blogs! Some other blogs I didn't mention on that post, but I recommend are: @zivazivc @yuumi0035 @pawsomelybuggy @mari-monsta. I honestly need to follow some more blogs too! They unconsciously get uneasy when things are too calm/ easy and might seek emotional excitement/ drama. All or nothing. They dont want flings, they dont start things unless they'll finish them. Ok so they love commitment, they seek it ok, but they're also super cautious and suspicious of everyone. They tend to unintentionally test the people in their lives for loyalty...But after theyve committed they're incredibly loyal and protective😭Some people can be intimidated by them but others are drawn to them. Keeho-Aqua, air. Unique, used to being different, shy kids. They're kind of detached and like to observe and try to understand others. So he has pretty strong barriers. General kindness towards others. Can be willful. The need a certain amount of freedom, and are pretty independent, at least emotionally.

They can be very logical (but his water definitely adds the emotion and intuition) Very adaptable, not very attached to their ideals. Smooth talkers, possible deceptive humor (like poking at someones weakness, but lightheartedly) Good communicators and decision makers.

Love a good debate, but with his gem mercury I highly doubt it would get as heated as with a less flexible sign (like me). Passionate, open-minded, but can be blunt. Lol they can be confusing because they go from fun loving to intense. They need space and freedom, probably not a ton cuz he is a cancer, but like freedom to express himself. They have grand and idealistic ideas.

Skip S*x mentions: ok so doesnt have a lot of patience for anything too complex. Loves to have fun and laugh. Lowkey selfish. Can be very direct but almost innocently? Not a fan of people playing hard to get. They dont care for anything to serious in the bedroom (idk this might not be so true with his other placements, but the emotions probably come right after.

Basic summary of One Percent and some Rai headcanons!

One Percent is a soft romance and slice of life story that follows Rai Mamezuku, starting out during his school years and progressing through the early part of his adult life, with his adult years being the largest chunk of the ongoing story.

I do keep to the canon story in some aspects, such as his parents both being killed by WoU when he’s fourteen, but I’ve altered some things with the intention of giving him a happier and less lonely life.

I like the idea of him being taken in by Norisuke after the deaths of his parents, where the Higashikatas become like family to him. He respects Norisuke as a father figure, and becomes much like another older brother to Hato, Joshu, and especially little Daiya who he develops a very sweet relationship to. The romance aspect of this story is between Rai and Jobin, who have been close friends since they were eight (another divergence from canon because it makes more sense to me, considering they’re pretty much the same age and most likely would have gone to school together)

Aside from the Higashikatas being his new much larger family, and Jobin as his closest friend and love interest, he also makes friends with a girl named Sora as well as Yoshikage Kira. Sora is in the same class as he and Jobin, and dated Jobin just before the start of the main story with the hope of actually being noticed by Rai, but with no such luck. Despite her failed attempt to gain his interest romantically, she becomes a good friend to both him and Jobin. Though Kira is a few years younger, when they encounter him they discover that he, like them, is a stand user, which is what brings them together as eventual friends.

Of course, the story is a romance, and Rai and Jobin begin dating when Rai is fourteen (before his parents deaths), they stay together through high school and after graduation. When Rai is about to turn twenty is when Jobin decides to take the risk and buy a home for the both of them (a lovely villa in the countryside, close to the mountain that Rai works on) and proposes to him the first day he brings him to their surprise new home. 💕

I have quite a few personal headcannons for Rai that come into play during the story and are a big part of how I interpret his character and personality. It’s pretty clear to me that he’s neurodivergent, likely somewhere on the autism spectrum (like me), so I hint at some of his quirks, triggers, and struggles throughout the story and how Jobin learns all of these things, how to understand him, comfort him, and work with him.

I also headcannon him as being a demiromantic asexual. As an aromantic asexual myself it feels like a very possible orientation for him to me based on his character and temperament. Based on what we know about him it can definitely be assumed that he’s never been in a relationship in canon, nor does he seem to have any romantic or sexual interests, being that he’s kept almost entirely to himself for at least 14 years, lol. So, asexual? It’s definitely possible. I based the demiromantic part on what he expresses of his relationships to other people. Rai doesn’t trust people and refuses to engage with people until he decides they’re trustworthy. Once they’ve gained his trust, he’s exceedingly loyal and becomes attached to them, as he does with Josuke. If he’s like this when it comes to friendships, it’s safe to say he would be even more cautious when it comes to romantic relationships, and it is unlikely that he would experience romantic attraction until he built a very close friendship with a person first.

Rai’s personality in One Percent-

I tried to keep pretty close to his canon personality, just expanding on it. So, in the story, he’s fairly awkward and antisocial towards most people. He typically seems almost perpetually grumpy and unimpressed with everything and everyone, never smiles or laughs (at least not quite like most people), and feels unapproachable to most. He struggles to connect with others, has a hard time communicating his emotions, and is often misunderstood as being rude and uncaring. In reality, he’s quite sensitive and requires encouragement and validation from the few he trusts. He can be stubborn, arrogant, logical to a fault, and difficult to fully understand his true intentions, all of which make him a challenge to work with and befriend, especially when combined with his naturally suspicious nature and distrust towards people in general.

But these things are only a fraction of him, and once his trust has been earned he shows much more of his deeper traits. He’s incredibly loyal, willing to do anything for those he loves, even die for them. He will stand by his loved ones even if there is nothing for him to gain from it personally, even if he doesn’t fully understand... if it’s important to them, it’s important to him, and he’ll do whatever it takes to make it happen. He is honest and observant, you never have to worry or wonder about how he thinks or feels about something, and he’s never the type to lie or be manipulative, he’ll always be straightforward and genuine. You can trust him with anything, and he’s a good friend to go to for advice since he’s very smart and logical (just... don’t go to him if you’re only wanting someone to tell you what you want to hear and spare you the hard truth, lol). Rai loves deeply when he finds people that he considers his friends and family, and though he isn’t very expressive about it with his words, he conveys his love with his actions. He loves to cook for his friends, making their favorites often, and tends to express himself through giving them gifts and making things for them. He is quite thoughtful and enjoys doing nice and helpful things for the people he cares about. Because of his observant nature and great memory and attention to detail, he is fantastic at remembering “the little things” about people. He’ll remember all the little things someone likes and dislikes, their favorite colors, shows, books, foods, their favorite flower, whether they get cold easy or if they’re uncomfortable with a specific sound or texture, everything. He can tell exactly how someone is feeling just by looking at them, nothing gets passed him. All of these traits make him a friend to really treasure, because friends like him truly are difficult to find, so his friendship is well worth the effort. 💕

Though Rai is fairly antisocial, he’s certainly not shy. He’s self-confident and can be very chatty, especially when it comes to any of his special interests. He is authentically himself, and entirely unapologetic about it. He tends to be quite chill and laid back, with an energy level on the low side. Too much chaos and drama exhausts him quickly, so he avoids it as much as possible, and tends to dislike people who are overly emotional or dramatic. He likes to take life at a slower pace, which is why he finds joy in nature and the “simpler” pleasures of life, such as gardening, cooking, reading, sewing, crafting... he’s just a peaceful soul, and would prefer the world around him to be that way as much as possible.

It’s obvious that he loves nature and plants, but he also gets along well with animals and enjoys taking care of them. He can connect with and understand animals better than people most of the time, and finds comfort knowing that animals don’t judge him or misunderstand him the way that humans do. He keeps cows and chickens that forage freely on the mountain, and has one special chicken in particular that he and Jobin keep as a pet at their home. Why special? Well, because she has a stand! I’ll tell more about Pita and her stand, “How Bizarre,” another time. 🐓💕

So anyway, if you actually read through this far I am glad that someone out there is as big of a fan of Rai as I am and hope you enjoyed my headcanons, and maybe you’ll enjoy my fanfic One Percent 🥰

“Hey, babe!” You greet Draco. Pressing a quick kiss to his cheek, you quickly take a seat beside him at the Slytherin table. This earns you a few odd looks but you ignore them. You were used to being gawked at by now. You were the Chosen One’s sister, after all. 

Harry, Ron, and Hermione, your brother and best friends, had not been happy when they found out about your relationship. But after he helped you guys (along with Luna, Ginny, and Neville) get away from Umbridge last year, allowing you to get to the Ministry, they had made their peace with it. At least until this year when Katie Bell was cursed. Harry immediately accused Draco, leading to many fights between Harry and yourself.

While you acknowledge that there was something going on with Draco, you couldn’t believe that he would intentionally hurt Katie. That was part of the reason you were sitting with Draco this morning, last night you and Harry had gotten into a particularly nasty fight regarding Draco’s involvement in the strange occurrences this year. 

“Morning love,” Draco replies with his typical greeting. But it’s different, he’s different. His normal cockiness is missing from his voice and his plate is completely bare. No remnants of food. Normally by now, Draco would be loading up his plate with seconds. This was something you have been noticing more and more often lately.

“Are you feeling alright, Draco?” You ask, watching him fidget with his hands nervously as he refuses to meet your eyes.

“Yeah, I’m fine love,” he replies earnestly but you can hear the emptiness in his words.

“You sure?” He just nods in reply still refusing to meet your eyes. 

“Did you hear? Katie Bell’s back.” Blaise announces sitting down across from you and Draco.

“Really?!” You ask, unable to hide your excitement. Katie and you had been friends for years, the two of you had grown especially close after you joined the Quidditch team in third year.

“Yeah, it looks like your brother is talking with her already,” Blaise replies motioning towards the Gryffindor table. You turn to see Harry in deep conversation with Katie and you have a feeling you know what they’re talking about. Harry had been trying to prove Draco was up to something pretty much since you all came back to Hogwarts this fall but after Katie’s attack, he had become obsessed with proving he was right.

Draco stands abruptly and storms out of the hall after seeing Harry talking with Katie. You rush off after him knowing something was really wrong. Draco had always been a bit of a drama queen but you could tell this was serious. 

When you finally catch up with Draco you find yourself in Moaning Myrtle’s bathroom. Shit, Myrtle. You despised the ghost, when you had first met her you felt bad for her, but after dealing with her for six years, you were over her shit.

“Draco?” You call looking around for him. You are answered by a quiet sniffle and you walk over to the stall where noise had come from.

“Alohomora,” you whisper before gently pushing the door open. Draco is standing with his back to the door and his shoulders are all hunched over.

“Oh baby,” you croon, you walk over to him and wrap yourself around him from behind. 

“C’mon,” you murmur after a couple of minutes. You grab one of his hands and tug him out of the stall and over towards the sinks.

“You gonna finally tell me what’s been going on?” You ask as you conjure a towel and wet it down with cool water. You proceed to dab his eyes and cheeks, trying to erase the evidence of his tears.

“I’m one of them, Y/n,” he croaked looking away from you.

“One of who baby?” You ask though you were pretty sure you already knew the answer.

“I’m a bloody Death Eater!” He shouts pushing you away and roughly pulling up his left sleeve to show you his mark.

“Oh, Merlin,” you breathe, you had suspected he was being pressured by Death Eaters or even Voldemort to accomplish some mission. But you hadn’t expected him to have joined up. Harry was right.

“What are they making you do?”

“He-he wants me to k-kill Dumbledore,” Draco sobs, dropping his head to his hands. Holy shit.

“The necklace, the mead, it was you,” you mutter, finally putting it all together. He hadn’t been targeting Katie or Ron or even Slughorn but Dumbledore. Of course, Voldemort would want Dumbledore dead and of course, he wouldn’t want to do it himself. He was such a coward he would send a sixteen-year-old to do his dirty work.

“I’m sorry, I’m so sorry. He said he’d kill her, he said he’d kill my mum. And-and,” Draco takes a shaky breath before continuing. “And he said he’d kill you too. I had to. I couldn’t let either of you get hurt.”

“Draco-” you start but are soon cut off by the slamming of a door. Harry bursts in looking enraged before shooting a spell off at Malfoy. 

“Harry wait-” you try to defuse the situation but it’s too late and before you know it they are shooting hexes and curses at each other.

“Cruci-” Draco starts and that’s when you step in. You jump in front of Harry making Draco pause. Unfortunately, Harry was too quick.

“Sectumsempra!” Harry roared just as you stepped in front of him. He freezes when he sees the blood, so much blood. You crumpled to the ground, blood rushing from your pale form.

“NO!” Draco shouts rushing over to you, eyes full of terror. Harry stands there in shock before he is pushed aside by Snape.

“Vulnera Santeur, Vulnera Santeur,” Snape whispers over your unconscious and bloody form. Harry and Draco both looking on in horror.

“We need to get her to the hospital wing. She is stable for now but she will need tending to. Both of you follow me.” Snape orders, both boys were so mortified they followed his command without a second thought. “Y/n, can you tell me what happened? Or at least what you remember?” Snape asks in the kindest voice you had ever heard from him.

“Katie came back today, Harry was talking to her, Draco got upset. I followed him to Myrtle’s bathroom, we were talking and then Harry burst in. They started throwing spells at each other. Then when I heard Draco-when I heard Draco start to cast an unforgivable I stepped in, Draco stopped before he finished casting but Harry had already sent his off. That’s all I remember,” you reply truthfully, not having the energy to make up a lie to protect both boys.

“Mr. Malfoy attempted to cast an unforgivable?” Snape asks and you reluctantly nod deciding the truth was your best option right now. “And Mr. Potter cast a dark spell as well?” Again you nod in confirmation.

“Detention, both of you, the rest of the year and I shall be speaking to the Headmaster regarding your actions,” Snape growled, sending nasty glares at both boys before turning back to you.

“Rest up Ms. Potter. Madam Pomfrey wishes to keep you overnight for observation but you should be released tomorrow morning. You should be mostly healed but it’s best to be cautious when dealing with dark magic,” Snape says, shooting the boys another death glare. “If you need me do not hesitate to ask. And try not to intervene in any more fights.” Snape sends you a small smile and then he’s gone.

“Y/n, I’m so sor-” 

“Don’t you dare speak to her!” Draco hisses, his voice like venom.

“Draco-” you try to intervene but Harry cuts you off.

“She’s my sister!” Harry growled, his hands curling into fists.

“ENOUGH!” You shout, making both boys turn and look at you in shock.

“I’m sick of it! Just stop fighting! Harry, I know you didn’t mean to. It’s ok. Both of you are in the wrong. Draco just because you stopped sooner doesn’t mean much. You were both casting dark spells. You both were wrong. Now can we please move on?” You plead, tired of all the arguing and fighting.

“Y/n, he could’ve killed you,” Draco protests.

“And you could’ve hurt me and potentially killed me too. You both were trying to severely injure the other. Draco you almost cast an unforgivable don’t forget that.” You remind him and he winces at the memory.

“She’s right,” Harry mutters. “We need to stop this petty feud we have. We were both wrong. We need to grow up.” Harry walks over to Draco and offers him his hand. Draco glances back at you before accepting Harry’s hand and shaking it.

Harry walks over to you and presses a soft kiss onto your forehead after, whispering, “I’ll give you guys some time.” And then he leaves you and Draco alone.

“I’m sorry, I failed you. First I fucking join up, trying to protect you and now I can’t even do that right. And from your own brother!” Draco exclaims, throwing his hands in the hair.

“Draco, I’m fine. You can’t protect me from everything. I’m a big girl, I can take care of myself.” You say trying to soothe him but instead, his eyes darken at your words, his muscles tensing.

“You shouldn’t have to. I should be able to keep you safe! And now I’m one of them!” His voice cracks at the end and his rant.

“We will fix it. We can go to Dumbledore, he’ll know what to do. I promise I will help you. I will get you out. We can run away together if it comes to that. I will not abandon you.” You vow, grabbing his hands that were currently fisting his hair and placing them in your lap.

“I love you.” You say bringing his hands to your lips and softly kissing them.

“I love you too Y/n/n,” he replies as he sits down next to you on the bed. You readjust yourself so you are resting against Draco’s chest rather than the pillow.

So first of all you two are very similar, you have a lot of the same placements.

Evan: Witch of Breath, his aspect basically because he has the leader role but it’s not something he takes control himself, it’s about the freedom he seeks and then incentivating others to join him, I chose the class of the witch since it’s the active change class, wich means he changes the aspect/changes through for himself, let’s think about games for me to explain you- he hates games where he has to do something like it tells him to, and love the games where he can use his liberty to have fun in whatever way he finds. I also have him as a prospit dreamer for reasons that I don’t really want to explain since it’ll get so repetitive, you guys getting the moons I say so >:)!

Tyler: Actually a Rogue of Time. I can’t lie I really wanted a timeplayer on the kids side, but I think I got a good thinking here, stay with me- The fighting aspect, the fact they don’t accept things as they are and act to change instead of just waiting things happen, the impatience- I quote the extended zodiac definition of time players: “You can’t tell them to sit still and look pretty”, plus, the rogue part of his title, the passive stealing class, someone who steal the from/through the aspect for others. A rogue can be generous and receptive, with strong ideals, on the worst cases they can bee too impulsive and apathetic. I’m not like 100% sure but I needed him as a time player and this classpect with him as a derse dreamer fit so well on how I expect him to be in this au, looking really self-centered and yet doing all he does for others instead of himself!

Nogla: Green boy is our Knight of Space! I mean... With Tyler’s description you might expect him to be te opposite, as a space player his job is to not worry about where things go, and pretty much enjoy the ride! He does understand that he needs to do things so they go the way you want to, he just don’t usually worry about it that much, he worries more about how he’s doing something than what he’s doing, and that gets him to the creative aspect, wich is why he, as a space player, is the one with the mission to creat the new universe! But that’s not all, he’s a knight!! The passive serving class are known to have a mask that’s supposed to make their friends trust them more than they trust themselves, Nogla’s is that he acts way more positive and stupid than he actually is so people around him believe him to be trustworthy, it also makes him feel safer around people that he trust are not using him. Sometimes the mask has a different effect and people thinks he’s annoying tho. But the thing with knghts are that they want to be there to help his friends, always, so he ends up being way too selfless and, well, as Tyler says: Actually stupid. He’s also a prospit dreamer, he’s just baby I love him.

Our last kid is Marcel!! He’s a Seer of Rage! His aspect comes from his chaotic side, as a rage player, he believes that society is full of lies, and there’s nothing he hates more than someone not telling the truth to him, he wants to know what’s actually happening so he can act on his passive knowledge class of seer, someone that looks to know more so he can be able to help their colleagues by acting his advices himself, he can get easily frustated when things don’t go the way he wants them to, and in the worst case can get upset enough to become agressive, as a derse dreamer he gets even more chaotic and easily frustaded. Besides, both his dream pajamas and his god tier pajamas are purple and he looks amazing in the color ;)

Trolls:

Now we go for the alliens, the descriptions will get even longer since I have to tell what’s their blood is, I won’t be explaining aspects and classes that are showing up again on this case, but if you want a more especific analysis from me in one of the boys just send me another ask!

Cartoonz: Rust blood- Adventurous, craving for new experiences far from home and often not cautious enough when agitated? Well, that makes me feel less bad about choosing his blood on the color red lol. Jk, I mean, his blood I chose on color, but I also believe that he’d do a great alternian lowblood rebel! And as a derse dreamer Prince of Time? Well, the aspect you get what I mean from Tyler description, but boy, the active destruction class does fit him in the way I wanted, he can get way too confident on his habilities, with motive of course! He’s capable of incredible things!!! But his confidence can make him impose himself on others as authority, his ideals are important for him and he’s difficult to change his mind, he does what he deems right while still showing how much he cares for the little things around him. He’s someone trustwothy and a incredible good leader besides not being in the relationships side of aspects! Plus, what’s better than get our infamous King Toonz as the prince in the game?

Squirrel: I mean... Bronze blood?? Obviously?? Warm and generous?? Slow to open without having someone else besides them?? Open hearted?? Afinity to animals??? Needy of attention and affection?? Polite when upset?? Basically babies??????? Yup! Plus, once again the color guided me this way-- But anyway! He’s a (oh my god I forgot I put him as this but fuck yeah) Thief of Doom! Doom y’all know as the bad aspect about death and shit but listen to me! The extended zodiac explains that doom players tend to be sufferers, that through their difficulties became wise and empathetic of others surffering, not the advice friend, but the friend that can confort, we’re talking about our sweet Dead Squirrel here my guys! And then I got this idea of putting him as a thief and oh my gosh I hate thieves but I loved this idea so much I kinda want use it in a homestuck rpg I do with some friends! The thieve is the active stealing class, wich means he does what a rogue does, but for themselves, while rogues give away what they steal for others, thieves keep it for themselves, it’s normally interpretated as egoist and that’s why I hate them, but being the boy we’re talking about, even if Squirrel steals the doom aspect to keep it for himself, he does it in a selfless act of trying to protect his friends from it, you can interpretate him as a knight kind of person here but I’ll stay with a derse dreamer Thief of Doom!

Smiity is our gold blood and it’s not because of the vibes he and Sollux share with red an blue glasses yOU SHUT UP! But for real, yellow trolls have the whole psych thing but what I ended up loving about putting Smiit as one is the facts that, they like to talk even if the people around the don’t wanna hear, they tend to accidentaly force their opinions in other people and if the person feels sorry about it all they can get axious easily about their actions, but still do it because it’s themselves, and I love to take this as Smiit’s careless way to act combined with his canadian way to be nice and I love it! He’s a derse dreamer Rogue of Rage, I explained both before, so really basic: he straight up just spreads chaos.

Brian: He’s our mutant lime, our candy red blooded troll!! Decided on his decisions (”if i wanna do it i’ll do it fuck you”), he can be quite the drama queen, he exagerates his feelings since he can’t hide them, he’s has caring and empathetic instincts and he’s so goddamn loyal, Once again quoting the extended zodiac: “ Romance is extremely important to Lime Signs, and when they fall, they fall hard. They don't take rejection well, and a breakup can send them into a tailspin requiring an extended period of recovery.”. And he’s our sweet derse dreamer Knight of Breath! Another one who was already basically explained, his title makes him the one who wants to bring freedom to his friends. His mask is of a confident flirty while he himself is scared of not being what people expects him to be. Fuck I love this Irish handsome bitch.

Panda: He’s an olive blooded troll! They’re described to be generous and sweet, ready to help if someone needs, they’re not really good with changes but they’re the type to drop anything to get into helper mode. But oh damn, they’re not afraid of just getting up and going out if something is not as they like. He’s a prospit dreamer Seer of Life, seer was already kinda of explained, and I put him as life bounded because of their empathetic side and how I can see Anthony as a (sometimes moody) healer! I can’t lie that his was one of the last classpects that I thought of and I wanted to fit him as a Life player, if there are other suggetions I’d like to hear too!!

Moo: Well, jade bloods are basically the default moms right? I mean, this is supposed to be expected right? I mean, I can’t even quote the extended zodiac because I’d be just copying and pasting what’s written! I’ll gladly do so in another ask but for now just accept it. And if you think that being a jade blood is not mom enough, don’t worry, I got ya, he’s also a prospit dreamer Sylph of Blood. Sylphs are the passive creation class, creating the aspect / creating through the ascpec for others, they’re curious and can get intrusive when they get worried too much, they wanna know what’s wrong and they wanna help so bad, even when their help isn’t wanted, they’re gentle and the bringers of care for their groups, and holy this isn’t enough already? No, cause he’s our fucking blood player, the aspect of union and relationships, pretty much natural leaders that bring people together by becoming friends with every single person in the group and then forming the group. Y’all think he’s mom enough?

Ohm: I completely didn’t choose Ohm to be a teal blood because he gave me Terezi vibes just like Smiity shut up. He does a good teal! They’re social and can be really flirtatious even accidentaly, they got strong morals that may get them to commit mistakes and let them down easly, they trust people way too quikly, they’re often better alone but with the right companion they can do so much!! Plus, he’s a prospit dreamer Heir of Space! We already talked about space bounds so just let me tell you, the most known point in a heir is their innocence in a determined subject, It’s a thing that I personally can’t really explain tho, they’re the passive changing class, so they’re easily adaptable and open, they care a lot about what their impact may be in others so they may hide facts about themselves, they not only change themselves for others but they incentive others to change for better, they’re caring, friendly and understanding, in the worst case they can be way too easly manipulated.

Mini: Our ladd here is a blue blood! The blood color that’s described to be capable of causing the most good but also the worst harm. They’re nice to have around as friends, and can easly become one, they’re adaptable and people magnets, they vallue their friends, wich also means they can be hard to forget a fight and get easly moody towards people they once considered close. And he’s also a derse dreamer Bard Of Light! As a bard he’s the passive destruction class, they’re devoted and faithful, they can be easly offended by criticism towards what they think is right, possibly getting open minded if the critic is someone they’re devoted at, a close friend or partner, they’re helpful, willing and friendly, but can also be inflexible in cases. As a light player Mini can be described as willing to learn more about what’s interesting him at the moment, he’s a seeker and he sees rules as suggestions to what he should do. He’s also one that I chose last so if you have a suggention I’m open!

Scotty: The boy is our indigo blood! Friendly, cheerful, energetic and curious! He can be easly attracted to anything that gets his interest and that also means he loses said interest easly, he is stronger than he thinks he is and can be careless about himself and others around him, he’s one that need to have an eye on to make sure he’s fine, and of course the person need to be prepared for so much energy! As another one that I couldn’t easily decide and became one of the last ones I chose, he’s an prospit dreamer Maid of Mind. The active creation class is kind of a favourite of mine, but kind of hard for me to explain as well, what I can tell you about them is that they are born to a fate they don’t like, and once they envolve in the game they decide to do their own fate by expressing themselves on their creations or something, I’m not really sure but I love this class!! And being mind bounded means our fuckboy tries to be rational most of the time, often that means he overthinks a lot, he sees most if not all possibilities of a decision and he’ll think over them, he’s mostly a person that’s slow to act, but when he does he knows what he’s doing, so just do how he says!

Delirious: I’ll get people getting mad at me that I didn’t put him as either teal, blue or indigo blood, but for real can you really judge me to choose him to be a purple blood when they have the clown make up and creepy as hell aethetic? And plus, the fact their description says they’re hard to trust on others, they can be mysterious and are great at keeping secrets. They’re decided and hard to change minds, they often want to refuse to be helped even when they need, but after all, when they trust someone they become devoted, putting way too much trust on them. I mean, yeah?? And he’s also our prospit dreamer Page of Void. The active serving class is another one of my favourits, being the people full of potential, they compare themselves to other and then create an ideal of who they want to be in their mind, some persona they want to become with characterists they don’t see themselves having, their nature on believing they can be what they build on their minds show their innocence and kindness, they sometimes can shut themselves inside their personas and act like how they want to be and less how they are, at best, they’re caring, charming and big dreamers, while at worst they can be manipulative and selfish by forcing their persona on others. And with all that, Del is also void bounded, meaning he’s a great secret keeper! He’s attracted to mystery and the unknown is his best friend, while others want to find out what they don’t know, Del is convicted on doubting what’s said to be the truth, he can be easly described as intuitive!

I’m not really sure but I believe our violet blood will be Lui by being a Witch of Hope prospit player, I’m not gonna talk so much about why because I’m getting out of time sorry----

Last boy will be Kryoz as our fuchsia heir, derse dreamer and Mage of Heart, he’s one that I thought first in the au and I’d love to explain more, but once again I’m going out of time, you can ask me about him separetely if you want to!!
