I feel like a lot of creators of artistic work feel like we aren’t allowed to say we like something that we’ve made. As if it’s wrong or self centred.

i looooove seeing artists & writers proud of their work!!!!! i looooove captions & authors notes that say things like “i’m quite happy with this” “i love how this turned out” “i had so much fun making this”!!!!!! i loooooove when the act of creation is joyful & we take pride in what we make!!!!!!!!!!

It’s honestly really sad how in a quest to be loved, Pecharunt ended up taking away its humans’ ability to truly love it. It may have thought it had the couple’s affection after it gave them its mochi, but it truly ended up “poisoning” that care and turned them greedy. Same with the loyal three. As Retainer Pokémon, they couldn’t truly be Pecharunt’s friends, because they were, as the Pokédex puts it, “chained to its will”.

But it’s a good thing Pecharunt gets a new chance with the player character, especially those willing to give it a chance and show it what real love and trust looks like.

Y’all I’m cooking a theory

So we’ve all come to the conclusion that *the prophecy* of FOB MCR DNP (and ignoring P!ATD) doing the whole shabang IS gonna happen at the LA show, but what if that’s not all? Like omg it’s just their wedding. Gerard’s officiating in the Joan of Arc fit, sister Daniel is somehow attending their wedding as a separate person, and every lesbian in the entire universe comes together as one and does that thing kinda like in my little pony where it’s super dark and them there’s the BRIGHTNESS LOVE PEACE KABOOM THINGY and then all of the world turns back to normal THATS GONNA HAPPEN. THE LES-BEAM. hatsune miku will also be there, I haven’t quite figured out her “role” in this situation yet. OMG THE BLACK PARADE GETS HAPPY I’m so smart AND THEY ANNOUNCE THEYRE UNCANCELLING YURI ON ICE SEASON 2/ICE ADOLESCENCE. We’re all serving too much cunt, so many political figures are gonna die

I also like to add some angst into this AU with how Yuu can’t believe in soulmates/can’t feel all ranges of the feelings, of love, or even a little of them, because they are magic-less/from another world

I'm not big on writing unrequited feelings, or one-sided soul mates! But I do like adding doubt. Personally, I think these kinds of AUs can be so of boring when they take the road that just getting to meet the soul mate guarantees the relationship will be successful. Being bound to someone by the deepest, unspoken part of yourself should be terrifying. The work and choice it takes to maintain a relationship shouldn't go away because of the bond, it should be intensified by it. I have mentioned the Wayhaven Chronicles here before (it's an interactive fiction about vampires) but I really like the author's take on soulmates/soul bonds as she has been expanding on them in her series so for my own au I'm going to take some inspiration from that.

Just because Yuu feels the soul bond doesn't mean they know what it is, or want it for that matter. It's inconvenient, they don't want to date someone and form a deep connection that will tempt them to stay and abandon their home. I like your suggestion that because they are magicless they can't feel the full range of emotion the bond causes σ(￣、￣=) I like the idea of them just mistaking it for normal attraction and not something that will leave both them and the other person in deep pain if it's severed. And Yuu might be the sort of person who doesn't believe in soulmates for that matter! They might be resistant to it, angry that they are in love and angry that they can't go home. No matter what happens they're losing something irreplaceable.

The soul bond places more strain on the boys because of their magic, so they are more aware of it's presence and more effected by the desire to be close to Yuu at all times. I could see the magic trying to make up for Yuu's inability to feel the full range of emotion by pulling on him harder, desperate to be realized. My original angsty thoughts sort of teetered towards the yandere spectrum, as I could see a scenario where a truly delusional person thought that because they had this soul bond with Yuu that made whatever life they had in their world irrelevant. Clearly they were supposed to be in Twisted Wonderland all along, there's no reason for them to go back and he has a personal vendetta against whoever cause you to be trapped in a different dimension than him in the first place... but in the reverse since I am cooking something for Rollo atm and have him on the mind, I think he would try to accompany Yuu back to their world. He could see his bond to Yuu as a sign they are a benevolent spirit meant to guide him to a world without magic... I could also see someone coming to resent Yuu since they were happy not having a soulmate. They're vulnerable now, and they somehow can't bring themselves to hate Yuu because the more they try the deeper they fall in love with them so they just end up hating themselves.

There is much potential for angst in soulmate aus without making the feelings reciprocated hehehe

"Let me go home!" he shouts, raw and distraught, and so, so desperate. No one is around to hear it. Only a statue, one that seems to be mocking him with it's engraved and empty face.

He looks at where the Fail button once sat, where it was so cruelly taken from him. For a moment, there had been a bleak, dim, little hope. It shone down on him as he noticed it, and he had felt a momentary relief. Only for the button to disappear right under his touch. He's left with nothing but the Succeed button.

"Please..." he mumbles, dejected, as he falls back into the hopeless loop before him. He slams his hand down on the button. A book appears. He opens it.

Depends on if he knows what an orange is. And also if he can even eat it? I don't think Yana put too much thought into it cause yay sharp teeths! But for you to eat fruits and veggies you really need flat teeth, it's why we have both flat teeth and canines, to eat meat and veggies/fruits/wheat etc. With him, Jade, Idia, and Ortho (if he had the same teeth as a human) it implies that they can only eat meat, though even carnivores have a variety of teeth types/sizes.
