It's how your body reacts to certain stimuli from your environment.โ โ But your emotions do not define you.โ โ ๐๐จ๐ฎ ๐๐ซ๐ ๐ง๐จ๐ญ ๐ฒ๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ ๐๐ฆ๐จ๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง๐ฌ.โ โ You got to freaking remember and acknowledge that!โ โ Once you become conscious of why you're feeling that way, once you take your power back from your emotions, you get to be their master.ย โ โ Make that conscious decision to accept those emotions, thank them for serving their purpose of sending you signals, then be clear on how you want to feel instead.โ โ Maybe you want to feel calm, serene, happy, fulfilled, and grateful.โ โ Write that down, and plant it in your mind.โ โ Again, write it down. I believe that's a crucial step for you to manifest those emotions.โ โ Start to focus on those emotions daily and breathe it in.โ โ There may be other factors involved, but this is the foundation of those, and I believe you would benefit so much when you apply this to your life. Uh-oh, not fun. ๐ฅต โ โ Because of that, let me share with you 3 little tips that have helped me, which can also help you, overcome that overthinking monster. ๐๐ปโ โ โ ๐ญ: ๐ฅ๐ฒ๐ฐ๐ผ๐ด๐ป๐ถ๐๐ฒ ๐๐ต๐ฎ๐ ๐ข๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐๐ต๐ถ๐ป๐ธ๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐ถ๐ ๐ฎ ๐ง๐๐๐๐โ โ You do your best to guard your house against thieves, right?โ โ Do the same with your mind: it is your sanctuary, and overthinking is trying to steal your peace. Thoughts aren't true by themselves. You have to analyze them if they bother you: write them down, encircle the worst-case scenarios, and really see how true/false that could be. Thoughts lie: don't let them deceive you.โ โ โ ๐ฏ: ๐๐ผ๐ป๐๐๐ฎ๐ป๐๐น๐ ๐๐บ๐ฝ๐ผ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ ๐ฌ๐ผ๐๐ฟ ๐ ๐ถ๐ป๐ฑโ โ Just as you should feed your body with nutritious food, you must also feed your mind with nourishing brain food. Have a daily regime where you deliberately feed your mind. It could be as short as a minute or as long as an hour. You could meditate, journal, read a book, listen to a podcast, watch a video, or really anything right for you to feed your mind with power and positivity. I'm personally setting time aside every morning for daily meditation, Scripture & book reading, and intention writing.
