My life has gotten so much better since I blocked or softblocked various overly familiar reply guys who thought following my blog on Tumblr meant we were on insulting me as a joke terms, and then restricted replies to people who I follow.

Sweeney Todd was incredible, 10/10 made me remember the magic of live theater again.

#also very high on the blood scale for live theater which was great #not descendants #Sweeney Todd #we got hella lucky and got to see the ‘main’ cast which I did not know was going to happen!!#we did not get to stage door because the ongoing plague has more or less ended that #BUT ~20 FEET AWAY FROM JOSH GROBAN REGARDLESS #close enough to see sweat and how much the actor for Anthony was blinking at the end of every song

went to mexico yesterday to visit my grandpa's tomb for day of the dead. only the second time I've visited him since he died in may. not really used to having a dead™ to visit but now I'm home and I got mexican hot chocolate and I'm cuddled up with a mug and life is good. for now life is good 🥹

#day of the dead has always been this sort of periphery thing for me #mostly because I'd never had a close-enough-to-visit family member die until now #it was quit nice all things considered #lots of people crying which is to be expected #but mexicans are extra as fuck so there were also musicians in at least two tombs of what was a pretty small cemetery #one of the bands was for the tomb right next to his for some fairly young guy #and the band played so beautifully i teared up a bit even though the song wasn't even for my grandpa #i kept thinking about my grandpa's corpse rotting under our feet #which was morbid but on brand for me #and it was actually kind of hard to visit him #I'm pretty good at compartmentalizing which is why I don't like…unrepressing in front of people #because as soon as i do i cry and i hate crying in front of people #not even because it makes me feel weak but because i hate being comforted #it never really makes me feel better #but anyways i got home and went to watch that movie with josh hutcherson with my little brother #and now I'm drinking chocolate abuelita and having a little bit of a cry #but like cathartic y'know

i've talked about this before but i still think about the fact that any and everything davina knew before the harvest got completely ruined. her big sister borderline mother figure (jane anne) allowed her and monique to be sacrificed, even though davina thought she found solace from her mother in that family only to find out jane anne was just as devoted. when monique came back, she hated davina even though davina had spent ages mourning her. even cassie and abigail, despite her not being best friends with them, hated her. all of her peers were mad at her for not fucking dying, essentially. her entire life got ruined in one night and she had to just.. cope. sure, she gained marcel and josh and cami and kol, but there's always a part of her that would've loved to have them and keep the family she knew before.

#she doesn't dwell on the past often but when she does...#i. davina. — study.#i love her so much #she tells josh and cami and kol about how close she and jane anne and monique used to be i know she does #she doesn't miss her own mother but she misses them #even after what monique turned out to be #she doesn't really let herself think about what monique turned into #because then she'd feel guilty for missing her #but their petty (not petty but petty) rivalry when she came back #was not enough to erase the lifetime of love davina had for that girl

Sammy’s timeline!

1980: born, hurray!

knowing the exact years for the fnaf timeline is a little tricky so don’t hold me to her ages here.

1985 - 87: goes to Freddy’s regularly with her mother or sometimes by herself. When the bite of 87 happens and children start going missing, her mother stops taking her to Freddy’s.

2000s - Sammy gets her first job in FNAF 1 with Mike “Schmidt”. She fully believes the animatronics think she’s an endoskeleton without a suit. Doesn’t believe in ghosts or spirits. Thinks any Golden Freddy’s “it’s me” are just her paranoia.

2005 - 2010 - Sammy becomes a security guide at the FNAF 2 location. The mini games that happen come to her in visions as the children slowly reveal what happened to them to her. At first, she thinks Michael did it. “Purple guy” and all. but they finally have a sit down talk about what happened.

2020s - FNAF 3, Sammy helps Michael burn down Fazbear Frights

2020s - Pizzaria Simulator. Sammy & Michael become Fazbear chain managers. During a scrap salvage, Sammy is attacked by Baby and almost killed. Michael puts her back together with the help of Charlie’s ghost inside the puppet. She now has robotic parts in one of her eyes and her full right arm.

2030s - SILVER FOX SAMMY ERA. She is the wise old woman in horror movies that will give the long explanations. With past experience and a lot of negotiating, Sammy has become head of security at the Pizza Plex. Now full salary, Sammy makes sure everything is in tip top shape.
