• so basically there would be parents of carats out there sending complaint letters to pledis that their children were corrupted by all those ao3 fics of ships in svt

• pledis kinda just ignored it bc the fics help them gain more publicity + seventeen doesn't target an adult audience so the effect on parents wouldn't matter too much but jisoo accidentally sees all the complaint letters and does thE GASP

• "jisoo-ya, they're already 14 to 19 years old, let them do what they want"

• "but there's so much bad language in those books! and they shouldn't be reading smut its not good"

• in the end no one can stop jisoo from doing what he wants and he posts things on their twitter and instagram to try and get young carats to go to his purity classes

• eventually, even hansol gets dragged along to attend the purity classes

• "hyung, i don't need this shit!" *whining*

• "watch your mouth vernon hansol chwe! i am not tolerating your swearing on our vlives, because there are babies watching it! and you're attending the lessons either way so suck it up"

• hansol rarely ever sees jisoo that firm when he's mad so he just nods obediently

• okayokay so when he walks in the room all the carats attending would be like very very lowkey fangirling/boying but he'd ask them to calm down and they would bc everyone listens to joshua hong jisoo

• slowly, the carats get used to jisoo's presence and learn to find their chill in front of him + become a purer person

• but whenever they swear jisoo would be so niCE about it (unlike with hansol bc hansol doesn't bother to change GAHAHAHAHA) like because he's so patient and gentle towards them he'd just wag his finger and be like "uh uh uh, no swearing!" and give you this warm, kind, 17 carat (wink wonk) worthy smile so that even if there were one of those stubborn defiant kids, they would be soft for that smile and apologise immediately

• jisoo has an amazing temper so whenever he catches the carats on ao3 he doesn't really scold them either, he just takes the phone from them gently and downloads the bible app

• "jisoo-seonsaeng-nim, i'm sorry"

"it's okay, yeobo. let me read you a better story." *calm and happy bc he's reading the bible* (in case you don't know in OFD hansol put a bible in joshua's survival pack so he probably reads it every night,,,,lol what a role model)

• bonus: even though jisoo reads all the stories in the bible his favourite is the wall of jericho because the main character in there is called joshua

• "but jisoo-seonsaeng-nim, you've told this story 50 times already..."

• okayokay but bc hansol is also attending the classes he'd occasionally joke around with the carats and do some aegyo bc he likes to see them happy

• and that's really the only thing that makes jisoo mad bc their attention's averted from the class to hansol

• and that lowkey scares everyone bc jisoo is so nice around them even when they do something wrong, but this reminds them that jisoo can get angry when he wants to

• however he's nice most of the time and even reserves some time for hansol to crack bad puns/do his aegyo

• sometimes even joining in

• jisol: *does the shy shy shy thing from cheer up by twice*

carats: *scREAMS & hAS A SEIZURE*

*disapproving* "hansol, honestly, what have you done?"

"but hyung you did it too-"

• bonus: kim mingyu walking in

• anyways the purity classes would take place during the school holidays so seventeen, being kind souls, would give up some of the space in their dorms for the 20+ carats to sleep in during the holidays

• so its basically like boarding school but better ;)))

• alsoalso bc jihoon stays up rly rly late and some of the carats can't sleep, he sometimes goes to their beds to sing for them

• eventually jisoo finds out about this and gets really worried

• "listen up jihoon there better not be any swearing or inappropriate things in those songs"

• however in the end jisoo just lays his hands off that matter because of jihoon's 'i don't give a shit' attitude, sometimes letting it slide when jihoon swears in the songs because there's only one or two of them

• but of course if this happens 4 times in a row

• "yeah i'm only seventeen i only got a few dollars, im as lit as a mother-"

*jisoo's voice from 300 miles away* "jihoon, LANGUAGE"
