That post about cannibalism becoming too mainstream and destigmatized by certain sections of the internet and therefore losing its weight and horror and visceral nature just has me thinking about how HABIT ate a baby and everyone was like oh lmao he’s just an edgy cool guy!!!! He’s just like me fr!! Haha!!! Which. I think not enough people are freaked out by the fact that he forced Evan to eat his own child raw and possibly alive. He mentions “the bones” and implies that it took awhile. Like that wasn’t Hannibal-style Brioche With Baby Pâté and Shredded Zucchini in a Plum Vinaigrette, he just opened Evan’s mouth and bit down until the job was done, and I think that says a lot more about Habit than people want to examine. Idk it just. has me thinking. The number of times hurting children comes up in entries and supplementary materials about HABIT is kind of overwhelming, really. I’ve seen people talk about how they think he’d draw the line at hurting children, but the source material goes out of its way to state otherwise- just about every time he’s in contact with children they die. Or worse. He’s the summation of the worst of humanity, the combined aggregate of all of our flaws and crimes, and one of those crimes is cannibalism, so honestly I wouldn’t be surprised if he made a habit (ha) of it.

I genuinely think darkharvest00 is pretty good I think it has a good plot, I like the chararers and the themes at hand. I haven't thought very deep upon it comparatively to other slenderverse series such as marble hornets or everymanhybrid. But I think it has something unique and going for itself. But nevertheless it's good. I'm looking forward to finally finishing it. Honestly wish more people liked it I can barely find any fans of it in this place honestly. So if you are a darkharvest00 please stand up!

Also I think they did an aboustely amazing job at making their verison of slenderman!

EMH Marble Hornets AU!!

ok i know im not creative when it comes to aus but i thought itd be interesting to tell the story of MH through EMH’s story? IF YOU GUYS HAVE THOUGHTS OR QUESTIONS PLS LEAVE SOME IN MY INBOX!!! :-]( or even questions for the MH!EMH characters heh)1

Basically its just marble hornets told through EMH, for example instead of “tapes i found” story telling theyd open a youtube channel for tips and tricks on making your own movie while they make their own called Marble Hornets! EMH/MLA spoilersish up ahead

Heres the character correspondences:

Since Mlanderson and EMH are in the same universe i thought id make Brian the Michael/Patrick of this story, except more involved. Instead of their being a shaun i think id like Brian to just go to MH crew, if ykwim. I did this cause the only other character i thought could fit Brian was Alex!EMH and I didnt like that.

My take on Masky is that hes just a more aware Tim, not a separate being (tho i do like to think of it that way for fun sometimes ha ha). Masky in my mind was in a battle against the operators control and was ultimately trying to help Jay. I think Masky would br Habit in this series cause of the theory that Habit is one of the first few iterations of Evan, thats why theyre similar and so compatible etc if you know the theory you know. That does mean that Tim isnt gonna act all ha ity, just more erratic i think, i havent gone tooooooo far into a characterization(or even a name) for Emh!MH Habit yet

“Hoody” I see as just brian and he was just disguising himself. in this au “Hoody” would be patrick. Let me explain,

Frim what i gathetef through my second watch of EMH and, my first of MLA , patrick is just Michael but remembers every single iteration, hes a similar being to Habit, thats why he has powers ig? Look i havent gotten too far into theories fir MLA the fandom is so dead i never see any 😭😭. I dont want to get to far into theories on other series anyways cause rhis is about my AU so ANYYYYWAYS i think brian would fit that its just brians story doesnt fit entirely with Michael, actually Tim would probably fit more now that i think about it. Oh god now im thinking of switching them again uhm wtv

I think the rest of the correspondences make sense if you think about it a bit. Jay as Vinnie makes sense to me because of boths compulsive need for answers even though its destructive to those around them. Jay wouldnt be as much as a villain in this like vinnie is (or maybe i havent decided muahaha). I also thought they fit cause they both do that weird thing where they constatly have to document everything.

I thought tim eould fit Evan just cause of the whole habit arc.

Alex as Jeff was more of a fill a role thing that eventually made sense to me. I did think of making him Evan and Tim Jeff, and im still thinking of doing this, but i thought the whole finding the gf arc would fit alex more. Alex would still be one of the villains i think. Like i said this would be marble hornets told through EMH lol. I might even switch it up and assign a habit type role to Alex instead and there be two patrick characters who knows!

NEW PROJECT IDEA

SlenderVerse AU

Over a decade has passed and those who have survived the Slenderman/Operator in the past are taken and transported to a desolate area of woodlands. No signs of other people or even civilization can be found. Not only do these survivors not know each other, but the longer they are able to survive in this new environment. Those who were originally killed or lost their lives to Slenderman/The Operator in the past are also revived and placed into this world as a way of bringing people with experience into the game. Those who have never experienced the entity are likely to perish much faster. There are tools and supplies for survival as there are 2 cabins in the mass forest where the survivors are able to rest and recover. Necessities such as food, clothes, tools, water etc are provided in these cabins though the supplies are limited of course. The survivors will eventually need to either grow and hunt their own food to survive. Each survivor is also given a camera and a vast supply of tapes that will be replenished over time by the entity. 

Those who please Slenderman/ The Operator are likely to find different types of ‘rewards’ including weapons, food, supplies, but most importantly pills to suppress Slender Sickness. The survivors do still have their memory from their past encounters with the entity, however do still suffer the same effects they had in the past with it. The survivors only have a singular goal. Survive, and hope that the entity will eventually let them go.

Hollowhemlocks

It follows our protagonist named Jesse, who started at first as a hiking tips channel. After the unexpected death of his friend, Adam, things take a spiral for the worst.

I fucking love this series so much and it's still ongoing so if you wanna feel the thrill of keeping up with a Slenderverse this it.

ICANSEETHEGIANT

To be honest I do find it kinda hard to explain but basically. The Teacher is a mysterious entity that runs the channel with the purpose of giving riddles to its students and teaching them Aesop's fables. As the series progresses though we get a more prominent protagonist named Mitchell. 

That's all I'm sharing, go watch it. It's good and the Teacher is such a criminally underrated character. Also it is connected to Stan Frederick. Plan to rewatch it soon.

One Hundred Yard Stare

Young girl named Ellie and her friends start getting stalked by Slenderman, yet it seems like it's not her first rodeo. They are also stalked by a guy with a gas mask that does not have nice intentions.

One of the few Slenderverses with female protagonists, I absolutely loved the direction they went with it. The few twists there somehow caught me on rewatch since i watched it in 2020.

Afraidathome

A young man named Kyle starts hearing weird noises in his walls as he tries to figure out why this happens.

I loved this series as i recently finished it but it can get a bit confusing. I recommend checking the Tumblr and Twitter for better context but trust me it's sure to be a ride.

Stateofamadman

Guy named Cole starts hearing weird knocking at his door so he makes a channel to record whatever the fuck is going on when an unknown J.W. walks in. 

Another ongoing one from what I know. I honestly don't have much else to say. I just like Cole as a character really.

There is more but i will probably make a part 2 once I'm done rewatching them or finishing them so yeah that's all for now lolz

istg this series is so underrated. im ngl, at first i really didnt care for it either and thought it wouldnt be a good series. mainly because others claimed it was not worth watching. BUT BROOO. I MAY JUST BE BIASED BECAUSE SLENDERVERSE IS MY MAIN INTEREST BUT I PERSONALLY THINK ITS SO GOOD IF YOU ACTUALLY PAY ATTENTION TO THE LORE. THE WAY IT CONNECTS TO OTHER SERIES? ESPECIALLY EMH??? IT MAKES ME SOOO EXCITED AND AHHSGDKSHSJ. ALSO RANDOM BUT JESSE LAURENZI IS SUCH AN UNDERRATED CHARACTER. hes so silly and girlfriend material and i love him sososo BAD.

Two other major characters are Redlight and Greenlight, who work as the inside guys for The Operator. Greenlight has more interest in the Survivors ‘surviving’ and working together to stay alive, and gives those who are deserving supplies to assist in this. Redlight is far more keen on blood and violence, encouraging the Survivors to fall into the mentality of ‘kill or be killed’ as it is more entertaining to him and the Operator (though can he be trusted?) Another thing that happens every time nightfalls, one of the Survivors is sent into an aggressive and violent state, similar to those from Marble Hornets in their masked states. Every night someone is chosen at random and sent into this manic state as a new obstacle to survive until morning when the Survivor chosen is returned to their normal state of mind.

Headcanons for Survivors:

Alex Kralie: He is transported into The Forest by The Operator after being revived. He now has a large scar on his neck and his appearance is a bit more haggard than it was before he died. He is given a gun with limited ammunition when entering the forest. He is very skeptical of the other survivors and tends to stay away from any of them, especially Tim, Jay, and Brian. He instead finds to build somewhat of a friendship with Evan/Habit as they both have similar goals as far as surviving.

Tim Wright: He is definitely one of the most short tempered of the group when dealing with others. He is also very hesitant of who he forms a friendship with. He mainly stays around Jay and Brian as he feels he can trust them more than the others. Though he is still weary around Brian after everything that had transpired in the past. He is given a pack of cigarettes, a hand gun with limited ammunition, a lighter, and his mask when spawning into the forest. He is incredibly protective of Jay as he still feels guilt for Jay’s death before entering The Forest.

Jay Merrick: He is transported into the Forest by The Operator after being revived, still retaining the scar on his abdomen from the gunshot that had originally ended his life. He is easily startled and paranoid, as well as a severe insomnia as he often keeps himself awake as long as he can before passing out from exhaustion. He is closest with Tim and Brian, but stays closest with Tim. He is incredibly resentful of Alex and wants nothing to do with him. Jay is given a butterfly knife, and a first aid kit when entering The Forest.

Brian Thomas: He is transported into The Forest by The Operator after being revived. He often keeps to himself or stays close with those he is most familiar with, which would be Jay and Tim. Though he still doesn't trust them too much, he knows he is more likely to survive in numbers rather than on his own. He is given a bottle of pills, a switchblade, and his hoodie and mask, when entering The Forest.

Seth Wilson: He is transported into The Forest by The Operator after being revived. He has many scars across his body and presents a fairly quiet and untrusting personality. He is very clear that he wants nothing to do with Alex and does everything he can to stay away from him. He is unsure who he can truly trust. He is given a knife, and a first aid kit when entering The Forest.
