He was in the middle of planning his escape when Derek finally spoke.

i live in a teeny tiny box and every time i leave it feels fleeting and fake and noncorporeal. its like i live in an unreality where everything is off and i forget it all after i step foot back into the hell that is my cold, stressful, loud apartment. my tiny little box. the only place i can at least make sense and not feel like im failing everyone around me just by existing.
