guidelines !?
no smut! obvious enough, but the characters in the shows are minors! and as a minor myself, it is incredibly uncomfortable for me to write smut. the most i will write for is making out, and even then it will be very brief and undescriptive.
be respectful! simple and common sense, but some people don't have that. especially when it comes to the characters i like/hate. if you don't like my content or my opinions, LEAVE!
be patient! i have my own life outside of the screen and i have other priorities. if you have an issue with how much time i'm taking to finish a request, ask elsewhere!
don't request for the characters i hate! they will be included in my dni list as "____ stans". if you request for them, i will delete your ask!
don't request for characters that i do not include in my "character list" section! like i said before, if you request for them i will delete your ask!
no dark content! this means yandere, pedophilia, incest, step-incest, etc. even if you support this content, dni!
i write for basically anything else! you can request self-insert x character, oc x character, character x character, platonic relationships, familial relationships, etc. as long as they follow the guidelines/dni list!

Why am I thinking about doing a TD x Grand Theft Auto AU series? I mean, it can work.
For example, if I do Vice City Stories, Brick would be a perfect fit as the protagonist.
Vice City, it would be Geoff as the protagonist. Although Brody would be Ken and Bridgette would be Mercedes. Lindsay would be Candy Suxxx.
Also, it would be funny for Owen to be Big Smoke and place the famous "Number 9" order. Noah would be the protagonist in the San Andreas version.
For Liberty City Stories, I thought about having Chef as the protagonist and Chris as Salvatore.
GTA III, Jacques would be the protagonist and Josee would betray him.
Into the HD universe now...
GTA 4... I don't know who should be the protagonist for this, but Alejandro would definitely be Dimitri.
Finally, GTA 5 would involve Duncan, Zee, and Izzy.
As for The Lost and the Damned, I don't know who would be the protagonist for that. But I know Bowie would be a perfect fit for The Ballad of Gay Tony.
What do you think?

Hamefura x Pokémon AU: Arena Champions & The Pokémon Tourney
In the original post for this AU, I mentioned that The Pokémon Tourney is the equivalent of the Pokémon League in the world of Fortune Lover.
The Pokémon Tourney has existed almost as long as the Kingdom of Sorcier. It was first established as a way for Sorcier to demonstrate to the other Kingdoms how powerful they were and discourage attempts of war.
Originally, the Pokémon Tourney only allowed Sorcieran Nobles to participate but for the last 100 years, commoners and foreigners have been allowed to compete.
Trainers must be at least 15 years old to participate in the Tourney.
To qualify, Trainers must acquire at least eight Honours - the equivalent to Badges - by battling against the Arena Champions - the Gym Leader equivalents.
Note: There are more than eight Gyms/Arenas in Sorcier, so some of the Arena Champions’ Type Specializations overlap with the Elite Four’s Type Specializations.
Edit: Changed Isadora Alarie’s speciality from Steel to Fighting.
The Arena Champions are all the Heads of Noble Houses and this title is often passed down to their heirs along with the noble one. Sometimes, the Arena Champion position is passed on to someone besides the heir if they are deemed unsuitable for it.
In Sorcier, all Pokémon Types have a family and Arena Champion that officially specializes in it, except for the Dark-Types as there are some negative associations with them.
The Tourney itself works pretty much like any other Pokémon League, with Trainers battling against each other until only one remains. And just like at the end of any Pokémon League, the winner gets the chance to battle against the Elite Four and the Champion.
The Elite 4 are formally known as the Council of the Four Elites - taken from ‘Conseil des 4′, the French name for the Elite 4. Defeating all 4 consecutively earns you the right to challenge the League Champion.
In Sorcier, the League Champion equivalent is called The Maître Champion/Championne or the Master Champion - taken from Maître, the French word used for the League Champion. They are considered the most powerful Trainer in the Kingdom of Sorcier and recieve high honors and respect from the nobility.
The Master Champion and the Elite 4 also have the responsibility to protect the Kingdom if it is ever threatened. They all have the authority to order Sorcier’s soldiers, knights, and even high-ranking nobility if they deem it necessary. The only people who outrank them are the Royal Family.
Unlike regular Champion Leagues, the Master Champion keeps their title even if they are defeated. They just past on the responsibility of battling the Tourney’s winner to the new Master Champion. Older Master Champions mentor the younger ones on their responsibilities of protect Sorcier.
Arena Champions
Main Arena Champions - these would be the ones you face during the ‘game’
King Owen Stuart - Type Speciality: Fire - The Stuart Family has held the position of Fire Arena Champion since the kingdom’s founding.
Duke Luigi Claes - Type Speciality: Ground & Rock - The Claes family are an oddity as their Arena specializes in both Ground and Rock Types.
Prime Minister Dan Ascart - Type Speciality: Flying
Marquis Joaquin Hunt - Type Speciality: Grass
Duke Elio Burke - Type Speciality: Electric
Marquis Edmund Randall - Type Speciality: Psychic
Marchioness Dieke - Type Speciality: Ghost
Viscount Giovanni Terni (the Queen’s younger brother) - Type Speciality: Water
Other Arena Champions - these do not appear in the ‘main game’ but would be part of a DLC. In the real world, you can get Honours from them the same as the ‘Main’ Arena Champions
Maquis Natalio Flores - Type Speciality: Poison
Marquis Jacques Alarie - Type Speciality: Ice
Duchess Leonaurora Adeth (Millidiana’s older sister) - Type Speciality: Dragon
Marchioness Radella Bellerose (Radea’s younger sister) - Type Speciality: Fairy
Baron Bradley Shelley - Type Speciality: Normal
Baron Eugéne Faucher - Type Speciality: Fighting
Count Hiram Grant - Type Speciality: Steele
Baron Louis Vallier - Type Speciality: Bug
Elite Four
Queen Giulia Stuart - Type Speciality: Ice
Duchess Millidiana Claes - Type Speciality: Dragon
Lord Radius Bellerose (former Marquis Bellerose) - Type Speciality: Bug
Dame Isadora Alarie - Type Speciality: Fighting
Master Champion(s)
Prince Geoffrey Stuart - Type Speciality: None; his Team contains a variety of Pokémon - Currently the only Master Champion and he holds the responsibility of battling the Tourney’s winner if they defeat the Elite 4. He has remained undefeated ever since he won the title.

Remaining placement RR team thoughts. I finished the show yesterday but didn’t get to thoughts so I could let them settle
The Reality TV Pros are a good concept on paper but faiiiled. Noah was really mean this season and especially to Owen. Owen was also pretty helpless which didn’t help because I didn’t go in already wanting the best for Owen (he’s fine, I just don’t find him funny). I’m kinda bummed out we never got flashbacks to the boys on other shows, even if just stills when someone asked about an episode they were on. I could imagine Dwayne saying “say aren’t you those nice boys who were on [x]” and Junior wants to walk away sooo badly. his ship with Emma was cringey, I hate hypocrites in love, and I hate that Father and Son lost to Owen literally carrying Noah through a sadness coma. any other situation and I’d pity Noah. IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN THE DATERS THAT EP. Sorry. For being out at the time they did, they got insane screentime.
Fuck the writers. Someone hold me back. WHY did they only get 7th. God I mean come ON. They were so funny, their relationship feels so REAL without relying on constant kissing or pda, and I kinda get their emotional issue with each other ungoth. I’ve seen people credit them as being “shallow”, but you have no idea what kind of dysphoria you can get from being in a subculture so long. The two also have insane transgender swag. Their normal attire and max goth outfits are literally so iconic I love them. BOTH of them btw. Only critique is Ennui should have known better than to attempt to jump into water holding Loki. Rabbits can’t be submerged in water! Regardless, they should have lasted longer and only lost because they were too good for a romance plotline.
I knew The Surfer Bros elim was a fakeout so I wasn’t too invested in Vietnam ep. More on them later
The Daters started off okayish but I hated them by Hawaii. I really don’t know if the show wanted us to hate them, or if we were supposed to go “I’ve been there!” because I have NOT. Two elimination fakeouts is WAY too many. I’m willing to say there were plenty of times they finished early I would have axed them for. Perhaps Little Bull on the P- I’ll stop. Lord of the Ring Toss was a really fun episode until The Daters took over. God. Even their real elim was silly
I haaaate most “childhood friends to lovers” things because I have zero touch with my childhood friends and I feel a lot of it involves comphet and “love makes you dumb” type shit. Anyways I had no grand opinions on The Best Friends, both at the beginning of the show and the late parts. Of all the unisex duos (Goths, Daters, Ice Dancers, Fashion Bloggers, LARPers) they’re the most cishet with very rigid gender norms. Since Carrie was so excited to do magic I was certain she’d be the magician and Devin would be the assistant, but no. Same with Hawaii, even if all the unisex couples did it. Jacques also wore a skirt in Hawaii! Get Devin in a skirt! Also Carrie manipulating Devin to make him go through the stages faster was a bit... um.
The Sisters did not grow on me. Quite the opposite! While I don’t think they outstayed their welcome, they are good competitors, I just think their interactions with others SUCK. I already mentioned I do not ship Nem/ma, but god. Makes you think of good Rajbow was establishing relationship boundaries where they’d pause while on the island so it didn’t get in the way of competition. Emma could have done that but didn’t. Can’t even argue emotional maturity since Bowie was younger in the show too. Kitty REALLY felt like a sidekick to Emma once Noah left. I loved her at first, but she felt so stagnant. No character arcs that weren’t dependent on Emma’s mood for the episode. Kitty rising to the occasion was always based off Emma... not rising to the occasion. Never because Kitty had a secret talent or skill she could show off. Fucking over the Adversity Twins was genuinely shitty and extra vile that like?? They already FINISHED and made rug, so they literally wandered back to mentally injure a contestant. If the Ice Dancers did that they’d be crucified.
The Ice Dancers rule honestly. I think all their plot beats (luck vs bad luck, issues with contestants no one else views as threats, pride vs success) were genuinely interesting to watch them explore. Obvious villains you should hate, but they’re interesting. Usually TD villains are laughable evil (Max, Justin) or vanity evil (Heather, Alejandro), but they manage to survive even with chipped nails and blemished faces. Because skaters get back up. And their weaknesses are so iconic. Josee is one of the million claustrophobic characters, but it’s way better here than with Gwen. Jacques hates fish. Based.
ACAB. I hate The Cadets. I assumed people hated them simply because cops suck, but WOW. MacArthur is THE WORST!? If I accidentally broke someone’s arm like that I’d be so forceful that we should just drop. No million is worth that. Plus they’re Canadian and healthcare so it’s not like they’d need it to pay for the cast lol. Very glad I didn’t watch the Netflix version that says they won. Ewwww. Imagine if the season came out today. People would probably hate them even more since no nostalgia glasses.
The Surfer Bros rule. They’re so nice, they’re so funny, they’re great. I’ve seen people say they made Geoff extra dumb thinking Komodo dragons are real dragons and breathe fire, but that’s a fair thought. You know how many people I know think turkens are turkey and chicken hybrids? They aren’t! They’re pure chicken but look like turkeys. Does that make anyone reading this who thought that stupid? Nope. There’s a lot of animals in the world. God. Brody’s crush on MacArthur felt like a comic sketch. You REALLY think a chillax man could date a crooked cop? Yeah no. Poly Surfers 4ever

Movies I watched this week - 50
The Hand of God, my third Paolo Sorrentino’s film (After ‘The Great Beauty’ and ‘Youth’). Sheer movie making delights from the new Fellini, like current Amarcord but for Napoli in 1984, the year Maradona was transferred there. Interesting that the young protagonist is listening to his Walkman throughout, but we never find out what he’s listening to. Superb - 9/10.
✴️
2 (and again) by Hiromasa Yonebayashi:
✳️✳️✳️ Yonebayashi worked for Ghibli for 18 years before leaving in 2014 to establish his own Studio Ponoc. It is obvious that he sees himself as heir apparent to Hayao Miyazaki, and deservedly so. Mary and the Witch’s Flower is the first film he directed there.
A psychedelic fairy tale about another young girl who becomes a witch combines the emotional twists from ‘Spirited Away’, basic story from ‘Kiki’s Delivery Service’ and Ponyo’s magic, together with Harry Potter adventures. The animation kept changing unexpectedly at least 10-15 times into new, phantasmagorical styles. Highly creative!
Together with ‘The Secret World of Arrietty’, I’ve now seen all three films he directed. One of my best movies of the year!
✳️✳️✳️ When Marnie Was There, seeing it once again after just one week. "I missed you. I kept calling you in my heart." Just beautiful.
✴️
Antonioni’s 1960 rule-breaker L'Avventura. Visually & stylishly innovative, I loved the early part on the island, as Monica Vitti is looking for her disappeared friend. But I didn’t ‘get’ the changing focus of the story, as it moves later into the empty, doomed attraction between her and her friend’s former lover. (Photo Above).
✴️
2 With Adrien Brody, Fisher Stevens AND Larry Pine:
✳️✳️✳️ Season 3 of Succession, a modern day ‘Dallas’, about a despicable ‘King Lear’ mogul and his mediocre four kids. Tedious, brutal and fascinating dive into the depravity of greed, power and abuse. This repetitive season continued with the complete disintegration of ‘Dark Prince’ Kendall Roy, and of patriarch Roy Logan who keeps assuring that his children hate one another just enough to never take sides against him. Why is it so compelling to watch, when it’s clear from the get go that all four heirs are too incompetent to take over the father’s role?
“I’ve seen you get fucked a lot, and I’ve never seen Logan get fucked once...”
✳️✳️✳️ The French Dispatch of the Liberty, Kansas Evening Sun, Wes Anderson’s intellectual homage to The New Yorker magazine and to the mid-centrury Paris of Jacques Tati. It’s a really good movie for people who like that sort of movies.
(For me, I still can’t stand Owen Wilson). 6/10
✴️
I’m going to go through the Steven Soderbergh‘s films I missed up to now. First watch: The Limey, a standard crime story with Terence Stamp, which unusually flashes back to scenes from ‘Poor Cow’, a much earlier Stamp film done by Ken Loach. 3/10.
✴️
I Was at Home, But, an award-winning, SUPER-slow German film directed by Angela Schanelec, of the “First wave Berlin School”. The puzzling story of a grief-stricken, single mother with two kids struggling to keep it together two years after her husband died. It starts with a static, long shot of a donkey and a dog walking into an abandoned living room. Reminiscent of Bresson, Ozu and Roy Andersson. 5/10.
✴️
Fabulous deadpan comedian Steven Wright X 2:
✳️✳️✳️ TV on YouTube: Steven Wright appeared on Craig Ferguson’s show 22 times. They both had a blast. 9/10
✳️✳️✳️ I never knew that he actually won an Oscar in 1988 for his offbeat film, The Appointments of Dennis Jennings. As if a disturbed inner dialogue from his stand-up, was made into a strange short comedy. With Mike Starr as the doorman / substitute psychiatrist, and Rowan Atkinson as his real, bored psychiatrist.
✴️
Shadows and Fog,  Woody Allen’s misfired German Expressionist experiment, an idiotic  Kafkaesque indulgent, a-la Fritz Lang, Pabst and Murnau. One of his worst movies.  2/10
✴️
2 more re-watches:
✳️✳️✳️ San Junipero is considered by some as one of the best Black Mirror episodes, because of its unusual uplifting tone. But even after watching it a few times, I still don’t see it. Maybe because the dating scenes were too young for me, or because the simulated reality background is hokum, or because its “daring” same-sex happy ending story was mundane.
✳️✳️✳️ Guilty pleasure: The perfect Close Encounters of the Third Kind, with François Truffaut as Claude Lacombe. George Lucas was sure that the movie will be such a colossal hit so he traded points with Spielberg before the premiers. He gave 2.5% of Star Wars profits against 2.5% of Close Encounters.
(I remember taking David to the original viewing, when he was 7 in 1977.)
✴️
Alan J. Pakula’s Presumed Innocent, a terrible court “drama” with Harrison Ford and Raul Julia. Uninspired piece of average trash. 1/10

She cares deeply for her friends and makes herself available to them. She doesn’t much care for people beating around the bush and will often be direct to get to the heart of a problem so she can help solve it. She is reliable, open-minded, and playful. However, she can be petty, impulsive, reckless, overemotional, and subjective. If she doesn’t like something, she lets you know about it. And if you hurt one of her friends? She can be downright vengeful.
Fun Fact: Teri will go out of her way to jump in a leaf pile.
Teri will cook meals for the first time and test them out on houseguests.
Teri is afraid of flying. She will count during takeoff to keep herself calm, and then have a drink in flight. She doesn’t like taking pills.

The Salvay Conference 1927
Tumblr media
The Solvay Conference, founded by the Belgian industrialist Ernest Solvay in 1912, was considered a turning point in the world of physics. Located in Brussels, the conferences were devoted to outstanding preeminent open problems in both physics and chemistry.
The most famous conference was the October 1927 Fifth Solvay International Conference on Electrons and Photons, where the world’s most notable physicists met to discuss the newly formulated quantum theory. The leading figures were Albert Einstein and Niels Bohr.
Einstein, disenchanted with Heisenberg’s uncertainty principle, remarked “God does not play dice”. Bohr replied: “Einstein, stop telling God what to do”. 17 of the 29 attendees were or became Nobel Prize winners, including Marie Curie, who alone among them, had won Nobel Prizes in two separate scientific disciplines. Here’s a splendid colored version of the photo posted above.
This conference was also the culmination of the struggle between Einstein and the scientific realists, who wanted strict rules of scientific method as laid out by Charles Peirce and Karl Popper, versus Bohr and the instrumentalists, who wanted looser rules based on outcomes. Starting at this point, the instrumentalists won, instrumentalism having been seen as the norm ever since.
Back to front, left to right:
Back: Auguste Piccard, Émile Henriot, Paul Ehrenfest, Édouard Herzen, Théophile de Donder, Erwin Schrödinger, JE Verschaffelt, Wolfgang Pauli, Werner Heisenberg, Ralph Fowler, Léon Brillouin.
Middle: Peter Debye, Martin Knudsen, William Lawrence Bragg, Hendrik Anthony Kramers, Paul Dirac, Arthur Compton, Louis de Broglie, Max Born, Niels Bohr.
Front: Irving Langmuir, Max Planck, Marie Curie, Hendrik Lorentz, Albert Einstein, Paul Langevin, Charles-Eugène Guye, CTR Wilson, Owen Richardson.
The scientists on the picture:
Auguste Piccard designed ships to explore the upper stratosphere and the deep seas (bathyscaphe, 1948).
Emile Henriot detected the natural radioactivity of potassium and rubidium. He made ultracentrifuges possible and pioneered the electron microscope.
Paul Ehrenfest remarked (in 1909) that Special Relativity makes the rim of a spinning disk shrink but not its diameter. This contradiction with Euclidean geometry inspired Einstein’s General Relativity. Ehrenfest was a great teacher and a pioneer of quantum theory.
Edouard Herzen is one of only 7 people who participated in the two Solvay conferences of 1911 and 1927. He played a leading role in the development of physics and chemistry during the twentieth century.
Théophile de Donder defined chemical affinity in terms of the change in the free enthalpy. He founded the thermodynamics of irreversible processes, which led his student Ilya Prigogine (1917-2006) to a Nobel prize.
Erwin Schrödinger matched observed quantum behavior with the properties of a continuous nonrelativistic wave obeying the Schrödinger Equation. In 1935, he challenged the Copenhagen Interpretation, with the famous tale of Schrödinger’s cat. He shared the nobel prize with Dirac.
Jules Emile Verschaffelt, the Flemish physicist, got his doctorate under Kamerlingh Onnes in 1899.
Wolfgang Pauli formulated the exclusion principle which explains the entire table of elements. Pauli’s sharp tongue was legendary; he once said about a bad paper: “This isn’t right; this isn’t even wrong.”
Werner Heisenberg replaced Bohr’s semi-classical orbits by a new quantum logic which became known as matrix mechanics (with the help of Born and Jordan). The relevant noncommutativity entails Heisenberg’s uncertainty principle.
Sir Ralph Howard Fowler supervised 15 FRS and 3 Nobel laureates. In 1923, he introduced Dirac to quantum theory.
Léon Nicolas Brillouin practically invented solid state physics (Brillouin zones) and helped develop the technology that became the computers we use today.
Peter Debye pioneered the use of dipole moments for asymmetrical molecules and extended Einstein’s theory of specific heat to low temperatures by including low-energy phonons.
Martin Knudsen revived Maxwell’s kinetic theory of gases, especially at low pressure: Knudsen flow, Knudsen number etc.
William Lawrence Bragg was awarded the Nobel prize for physics jointly with his father Sir William Henry Bragg for their work on the analysis of the structure of crystals using X-ray diffraction.
Hendrik Kramers was the first foreign scholar to seek out Niels Bohr. He became his assistant and helped develop what became known as Bohr’s Institute, where he worked on dispersion theory.
Paul Dirac came up with the formalism on which quantum mechanics is now based. In 1928, he discovered a relativistic wave function for the electron which predicted the existence of antimatter, before it was actually observed.
Arthur Holly Compton figured that X-rays collide with electrons as if they were relativistic particles, so their frequency shifts according to the angle of deflection (Compton scattering).
Louis de Broglie discovered that any particle has wavelike properties, with a wavelength inversely proportional to its momentum (this helps justify Schrödinger’s equation).
Max Born’s probabilistic interpretation of Schrödinger’s wave function ended determinism in physics but provided a firm ground for quantum theory.
Irving Langmuir was an American chemist and physicist. His most noted publication was the famous 1919 article “The Arrangement of Electrons in Atoms and Molecules”.
Max Planck originated quantum theory, which won him the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1918. He proposed that exchanges of energy only occur in discrete lumps, which he dubbed quanta.
Niels Bohr started the quantum revolution with a model where the orbital angular momentum of an electron only has discrete values. He spearheaded the Copenhagen Interpretation which holds that quantum phenomena are inherently probabilistic.
Marie Curie was the first woman to earn a Nobel prize and the first person to earn two. In 1898, she isolated two new elements (polonium and radium) by tracking their ionizing radiation, using the electrometer of Jacques and Pierre Curie.
Hendrik Lorentz discovered and gave theoretical explanation of the Zeeman effect. He also derived the transformation equations subsequently used by Albert Einstein to describe space and time.
Albert Einstein developed the general theory of relativity, one of the two pillars of modern physics (alongside quantum mechanics). He is best known in popular culture for his mass–energy equivalence formula (which has been dubbed “the world’s most famous equation”). He received the 1921 Nobel Prize in Physics “for his services to theoretical physics, and especially for his discovery of the law of the photoelectric effect”.
Paul Langevin developed Langevin dynamics and the Langevin equation. He had a love affair with Marie Curie.
Charles-Eugène Guye was a professor of Physics at the University of Geneva. For Guye, any phenomenon could only exist at certain observation scales.
Charles Thomson Rees Wilson reproduced cloud formation in a box. Ultimately, in 1911, supersaturated dust-free ion-free air was seen to condense along the tracks of ionizing particles. The Wilson cloud chamber detector was born.
Sir Owen Willans Richardson won the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1928 for his work on thermionic emission, which led to Richardson’s Law.
