i think the funniest response for hashirama to have about tobirama & izuna becoming a couple is for him to have a sort of "the sins of the little brothers are placed on the big brother" response (much how he took responsibility/punishment for tobirama killing izuna in canon)

so he finds out they're together and hes like omg congrats!!! lets have a group date some time or something haha yayyy konoha community how amazing!!! and then he spends like five months being deeply passive aggressive with madara. if tobirama misses family dinner for a date with izuna, hashirama "misplaces" madara's finished paperwork from the day before and only "finds it" after madara's already redone it all.
