Is it weird I can kinda see Whitley bonding with Team FNKI? For some reason, can imagine them giving him the nickname "Witty Boy", for being quick-witted with his words. I can also see Whitley starting to take an interest in jazz music on the piano.

That is sooo cute I’d love to see that in any way, like the characters like Nora and Neon kinda jump on cooing over Oscar would be so funny to see with Whitley. They WILL be his friends whether he likes it or not. I doodled some silly interactions of Whitley and FNKI !!

So like ignore the sadness of the Atlas and Vacuo situation and let’s imagine the characters are all happy in some form lol

Feel like Flynt might take a bit to warm up to Whitley, kinda like with Weiss but they would so bond over music (Whitley trying out jazz sounds so fun)

Neon would be sooo annoying to Whitley, like dragging him around Vacuo and talking his ear off

We don’t know much about Kobalt and Ivori so at the least I feel like Whitley would be so intimidated by Kobalt who probably doesn’t talk to much, and then Whitley would try to appear really cool to Ivori because Ivori just looks cool yknow???

Recap of Young and Reckless: Season 1 Atlanta Reunion Part 1

I’m back to recap Young and Reckless: Season 1, are you a fan of the show? Well you are in luck because I am recapping each some select episodes of this season but if you haven’t started watching part one of the reunion click off because this is the recap and it is full of spoilers. Oh I love the story of how I met Ivori! Buckle your shorts people, it's a long one.

I came across an old, broken-down building once, back when I was in Kalos several years ago. I think it used to be like a hotel or something? I was curious and just planned to poke around a little bit. Figured I'd be fine as I had my old Scizor with me for protection, just in case anything was hiding in there.

We were walking down one of the hallways and sure enough, this little Pawniard pops out from a corner and makes a beeline for us. Just came right out the gate swinging, it was honestly frightening even though he was just a little guy... We tried to just turn and run but man this little dude was fast! He blocked us off again and made it really clear he wasn't gonna leave us alone unless we fought back... I really didn't want to, but I didn't have much of a choice at that point.

Thankfully my Scizor was fairly strong, so knocking this Pawniard down didn't take more than a few hits, but he got right back up again. And then my Scizor knocked him down again, and he got back up again... This little guy was just so determined to keep fighting, even though it was getting hard for him to stand...

At one point, while he tried to push himself up off the ground again, I finally got a good look at him, and he was absolutely covered in scrapes and scratches and chips... A LOT more than what my Scizor had done. So I figured he'd probably been picking fights like this for a while... He must have been so exhausted, and he fell down again.

And then... I don't know what it was, but he looked up at me with these big eyes, and something about it just...broke my heart. He was trying so hard, and I couldn't just leave him there to get even more hurt... So I decided I wanted to take him with me. I held out a timer ball to him and I swear he looked like he was gonna cry, and then he finally pushed himself up and let me catch him.

I didn't actually find out until later that he had been there all by himself for quite some time. Apparently, he was always more defensive in battles (and that's still true today!) But his pack mates were far more aggressive and ruthless when it came to fighting, and they thought him weak in comparison, so they left him behind.

All the fights he had been picking since then, it was him trying to be aggressive like his pack wanted him to be. This whole time he just wanted someone to recognize his strength instead of shunning him for it. Literally trying to prove himself, cheesy as it sounds. And I couldn't be happier that it paid off, because ever since, he's proven to be the most loyal and fiercely protective partner I've ever had.
