In this au, I invented a new award show, called Korean Music Award, (shortly KMA) so I won't interfere with any other award show that has amazing MCs. Also, this is my first time doing a smau (smile through the pain and struggle 😔) so yall, please be kind😞.

synopsis: Since you have debuted, you have made lots of friends from different groups that you admired. And one group you admired was your bestfriend's group, Stray Kids. Since they debuted, you have been a devotated stan, always buying their merch and albums, always watching their lives, videos and m/vs. However, you haven't had the right time to actually meet everyone face to face, being incredibly occupied with your own group's activities. As you were already a group for over 1 year, you have been selected for being an MC for KMA. What happens though, when you see that you have to MC with one of your biggest idols?

Just wanna say thank you very very very much for creating ITZY's P.S.T Series, it was quite a new experience for me to follow through an entire series from the start ( at least for ITZY's part ) the way i did with your P.S.T one..yes i must admit having ITZY is one of the main attractor for me initially to follow through the series, but while doing so, i realized just how good you are too as a writer and understands why your other works received a lot of love and support too, as i've said numerous times, the way you always put depth and adding smallest details be in some of the scenes or with each character and making them unique, especially in P.S.T, the way every members have their own dynamics with the reader and each other and how some built actual feelings along the way, how some of it are still just business and lust, how it all started with the reader "serving" the 5 and concluded with the 5 "serving" the reader in return..the iconic spa table and recording stuffs, like, everything felt like have its own purposes and even things like the layout of the house, the pool, everything felt so familiar at this point, i just love how you're able to deliver it all magnificently.. and it's really easy to say that you are on of my very top favourite writers now and this series already be one of my all time favourites.. i really cannot wait to see more of your works, series etc., Whatever you're dropping next, be sure i will be there to enjoy it, and i also encourage that you're willing to try new things that you wanted to try in writing if you haven't yet.. Lastly, again, thank you for this amazing series so far and take care Spren.

Cyber (cy-ber) is a four membered co-ed group under the label velvet creative, Each member resembles a Position (Hacker, Pickpocket, etc.) and color to show their different style of music (Pop, hiphop, etc.). They debuted with the song “Bomb” using electronica elements and hiphop as well, Bomb ranked #3 on the melon charts in 2020 and they were given the title “rookie of the year” along side other groups such as itzy, txt, etc.

Meet Dreamworld, A four membered girl group known for their cosmic and magical concepts. They debuted in 2020 with the song “Oh Girl”, The music video displayed the girls floating in space and trying to gain attention of their loved one. Yubin, Katy, Jisoo, and Chaewon were the winners of Finding Dreamland earning them their positions and official colors, Each member were scouted in different and weird ways such as Chaewon was scouted in the bathroom at a Chungha concert in 2018.

La rogue debuted as a duo in 2014 with members, Dominique and Tiffany, Breaking the charts with their song “night rather than day”. Both members were scouted during auditions and were supposed to be in a four membered girl group but turned it down to be in a duo.

just like sugar and spice, both members are the complete opposite of each other.

Park Miyeon (Dani) is a soloist under the label Secret entertainment, She worked as a songwriter for the idol group “Automatic”. and later debuted by the name Dani. She released Daydream in 2018 as her first single with a ballad theme to it, Dani later on charted the melon charts and earning awards left and right in her palms. Her fans “Luvies” know her by her iconic glitter wink that went viral during the downhill era. Dani has taken home two MMA awards in 2019 and one MAMA award in the same year for Best ballad/R&B performance.

4/23/2023 - 4/29/2023: Cheshire by ITZY

After a year of hate for their releases, ITZY finally found relief from the backlash with "Cheshire". 2022 was a hard year for the girls of ITZY. Thankfully, this comeback gave them the adoration they deserved.

ITZY is a 5-member girl group under JYP Entertainment. They debuted February 11, 2019 with "Dalla Dalla", a song all about breaking the rules and being yourself. This became ITZY's signature: breaking the rules of what society wanted them to be. They immediately became one of the biggest groups of the 4 gen.

Music is subjective. People are always going to have something to say. But, when that number jumps to the vast majority, it is hard not to take it personally. In summer of 2022, ITZY's promotional team dropped hints at their next comeback, calling it "Checkmate". The visuals featured ITZY members dressed as dark royalty, decorated with chess pieces and jewelry. Fans were bursting to find out what was coming next. Then, very suddenly, the posts were flooded with neon colors and spray paint, followed by ITZY in brightly colored layers. The art read "Sneakers", and fans were confused. Teasers of the comeback came out and fans were immediately displeased. When the video for "Sneakers" finally dropped, the reviews were scathing. Some were happy with the brighter sound and fun nature, but many were still disappointed that they didn't get something to match with "Checkmate". The comeback was pronounced a failure, leaving ITZY and JYPE to work on the next comeback.

Not long after, ITZY dropped their English debut "Boys Like You" to a temperamental audience. Fans were extremely confused at this release, claiming it sounded like a song from Disney Channel or "an old Taylor Swift song", nothing like the ITZY they always knew. After all of the hate, several interviews came out with ITZY being noticeably unsure of themselves, scared for what would come next. Multiple members broke down crying in videos when the subject of hate or confidence was brought up. Things were not looking good.

"Cheshire" was released on November 30, 2022. The video features ITZY's iconic sharp vocals, strong dance details, and some of the cleanest transitions and editing in any music video ever made. On top of that, it serves as the pinpoint in which ITZY received mercy from the public bashing of their releases. It was everything the fans knew and loved about the girls! Hopefully, it is also the start of more good things to come from them.

In Kpop, it is very dangerous when a group is met by hate and a loss of sales. Depending on the artist, it can mean an instant disbandment or drop from the label, or it can mean harsher treatment behind the scenes. ITZY has not had a comeback since "Cheshire" and fans are anxious about when, or if, something is coming.

ITZY is also full of powerhouse members. Ryujin competed on MIXNINE, a competition show featuring trainees from various agencies, each competing to see who could make the strongest team. The show was also a battle of the sexes. Ryujin landed in 1st place for the girls and was offered a place at YG Entertainment. She stayed at JYP and was a very highly anticipated trainee. Chaeryoung competed on SIXTEEN, the show that formed iconic girl group TWICE, alongside her sister, Chaeyeon (IZ*ONE and soloist). Yeji was called JYP's "secret weapon" on the show that formed Stray Kids.

Nowadays, ITZY is known best for their strong dance skills, group unity, stage presence, and endurance. I hope to see more from them soon!
