The way this franchise is STILL to this day trying to insist it was Mal, and Mal only, who defeated Maleficent and Uma, when uh, if you watch the movies, you'll see: Mal needed Evie, Jay and Carlos for the spell against Maleficent, aka four hearts against one (Evie's fashion business name LITERALLY comes from this) and prior to the spell, Evie used her mirror to blind Maleficent in dragon form briefly, giving Mal enough time to come up with the spell and start it. And I've said this 100 times now and I'll say it again: Mal didn't do SHIT against Uma in the end. All she did was potentially make the situation worser by blowing fire at Uma....whose in the fucking water. The only one who ultimately saved the day was Ben who talked Uma down, but I guess giving Ben credit for anything is hard for Descendants to do.
