Hello! Welcome to my blog 🌸

This blog is aimed at couples who I think look good together aesthetically.

As Sakura is one of the characters closest to the main character, she ends up having a lot of "external" interactions (outside her team and outside the village).

And well, I've seen people ship couples for far fewer interactions. Sometimes the personalities don't match up well, but aesthetically it matches very well. So, I decided to create this blog with the intention of sharing these couples.

Before you ask: yes. I have a favorite couple and I could've made a blog just for them but I had a MultiSaku blog before and just decided to start over.

If you decide to send an ask, I kindly ask that you remain respectful and polite. I'm not forcing you to like what I like. And people have the right to like different things. If you don't like a couple that appears here, that's okay. I respect.

What’s your favorite Naruto ship and what draws you to it?

oh, but they're so many 😩

first of all, canon or non canon? the ones i'm the only one who ships it or the popular ones? romantic or platonic?

let's go by parts.

i'm really into nejiten (neji + tenten) now. i know they're not technically a couple, and most likely only really good friends, and yesterday i read a post talking about how they're not a good match because they don't add anything to each other, and i agree in parts, but i also love how they're just comfortable with each other, how natural it seems, how they take care of each other, how much the believe in each other, everything is just so reciprocal. even if the clan wouldn't allow them to get married or whatever, and if they did she would have to change her whole self (which i believe she wouldn't), she is strong, he is strong, they don't need each other, but the choose to be together. idk, it probably doesn't make any sense, but i LOVE them together, there's something about them.

and i also love naruhina (naruto + hinata). "oh, but Hinata is so submissive, she's so weak, she's ridiculous blablabla" yeah, ok. Hinata is strong, ok? she's STRONG. and i know it was kinda obsession, but i love how she was always there for Naruto, loving him, believing in him, defending him, ever since the beginning. and my boy deserved the love! he made friends along the way, but all of his friends didn't believe in him in the beginning - quite the opposite. and she's constant. she trains to get stronger - and yes, ok, Naruto shouldn't be her inspiration and all, because she had deeper issues going on with her clan and she being the heir should do something about it, but hey, naruto is a great inspiration! and they are so good for each other! and then she has the choice to be home and take care of her kids, and i know that's "oh, that's so weak, ridiculous, feminism much?" but it was her choice - she finally had peace and gave my boy peace and a loving family. i'll defend them, fight me!

itasaku (itachi + sakura) as well - i just KNOW she would save him. i do like sasusaku for a number of reasons (specially because i love sakura, fight me), but the whole older brother thing gets me. perfection.

also kakagai (kakashi + gai) because their friendship is probably my favorite in the whole show, i love them too much for my own good and i wish I had a gai in my life.

another (weird) one is deiino (deidara + ino). LISTEN, BEFORE JUDGING, i would NEVER take Ino away from Sai, they're perfect together, but i kinda ship deiino because they're aesthetically perfect, but realistically they would never be together, they would kill each other in 20 minutes. i just love looking at the pictures 😩

and finally, but not last, sasunaru/narusasu (sasuke + naruto). i mean... come on! i don't even have to explain. kings of angsty.

I’m into the aesthetics of SasoSaku but in practice........ it’s easy to write Sasori having an intense fascination and attachment to someone, but difficult to turn it into any sort of romance that’s not fucked up beyond imagination. which!! that’s what i want!! and yet fandom does not deliver u.u

This is both easy and hard at the same time -.-

1. The OTP - KakaSaku. The possibilities, the AUs, the angst, the sex, the aesthetics!!! I am here for it all. KakaSaku is what got me back into writing long ago - also thanks to the amazing community of people involved. And even now (nearly a smooth decade later) the KakaSaku peeps are wonderful. Love you fam.

2. ItaSaku - Ahhh my Uchiha bias with one of my fave bamf!females. Let's be real, the Uchiha/Haruno aesthetic game is strong and I *really* feel it with Itachi & Sakura. Specifically in an AU/AR setting I feel Itachi would be wonderful for her.

3. KakaYama - Holy snowballs (I put shitballs, but I like the auto corrected snowballs)! These two are so amazing. There's enough history for this ship to be believable. The hurt, the love, the passion. Ugh those two idiots are full of it. And I love it.

4. UchihaSaku - Yup, I'm one of those, too! Particularly the combos of: ItaSakuShi, ItaSakuSasu, ShiSaku, MadaSaku, ObiSaku (the Obi lives, rehab!AU is life).

5. TenShi (ShisuixTenten) - Look, Shisui's body was never found. He is still alive, okay. After accepting his new life, he traveled the world with his ear to the ground. And then one day he meets Tenten & can't explain the pull he feels toward her. *What do you mean this isn't canon????*

6. GenKaka/KakaGen - two of the sexiest shinobi being sexy and cuddly and angsty (and and and) with each other. Omg all that wit. And hair. Sex puns for days. They don't care about terms or power positions, they just want each other.

7. ObiRin/ObiKaka (or team Minato OT3 anyone?) - cause they deserve to be happy! I want ObiRin snuggles and movie nights and kisses in the rain and quiet dinners at home. And KakaObi??? Man gimme all the guilt and angst and emotional confrontation. (Then gimme the smut). And all three???? Yes, yes please.

8. Kakashi/Happiness - however this happens. Whether he drowns in piles of ninken and Icha Icha, or goes on a hot spring tour after retiring from the Hokage position. Whether it's with a person (Sakura, Obito, Mei, Gai, Ino, Yamato, Iruka....) or with a hobby (maybe he fucking knits. Have you seen his scarves? Or he writes Icha Icha fanfic and giggles like a total dweeb doing it). I just want the poor fucking Hatake to be HAPPY. He's had enough misery in his life.

9. Akatsuki!ships. So I'm totally cheating and lumping this group together. The crack ships like DeiSaku, SasoSaku, KisaSaku. To inter-Akatsuki relationships like ItaDei, KakuHida, DeiSaso, Yahiko/Pain & Konan. Kisame&Itachi are BroTP

10. Canon!Couples! (I cant believe it, but yeah canon got a few right) They are: Asuma & Kurenai, MinaKushi, and ShikaTema.

1. What OTPs in your fandom(s) do you just not get?: ItaSaku, KakuSaku & SasuHina…at least I understand the ~aesthetic~ of SasuHina (even if it’s 100% fanon as I’m not sure either of them talked to one another before Boruto-era), but both ItaSaku and KakaSaku are just… ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ It doesn’t help that I don’t like Itachi and that the notion of KakaSaku when Kakashi has been Sakura’s sensei since she was twelve is…not a good look imo (admittedly, I’m in the fandom long enough to know that most of us didn’t really care back in 2005)

15. Unpopular opinion about the manga/show?: As much as I appreciate the Uchiha Family Moments Boruto provides me with and the whole scenario of Badass Married Couple SasuSaku, I severely dislike the decision that Sasuke — AN UCHIHA’S MAIN TRAIT IS THAT THEY LOVE TOO DEEPLY — would be an absent father and Naruto — NARUTO WHO ONLY EVER WANTED TO HAVE A FAMILY — would be a neglectful father, both of them too preoccupied with ‘the greater good’ to spent time with their children. That’s Grade A bullshit.

I might not like SasuSaku’s canon relationship, but I genuinely think they’re a hot couple.

I think SasuSaku is aesthetically pleasing in the same way I think ItaSaku, KakaSaku, and SasoSaku are.
