After Inquisition, where every second character tried to kick me in the balls for being Dalish or insinuate that my entire world view should collapse because really the elves destroyed themselves like a thousand years ago, as if elves today don't have any problems, Davrin's writing is really refreshing.

It's very complex in a very compelling sense. He clearly wasn't satisfied with his clan's lifestyle but he doesn't distance himself from being Dalish and from being an elf in general. He even admits that there are certain upsides to the clan life (sense of community, a singular purpose everyone works for). He doesn't regret his decision of leaving but wishes he didn't have to (and I don't remember if there's a banter that states so but I think he regrets not contacting his clan and clearing things up). He doesn't care about elven gods (especially now that the truth about them was revealed) but he does care how the info about them will affect the elves at large. In general he puts the well-being of elven people above any need for knowledge and lost lore (based based based based based). But he also doesn't admonish Bellara for her desire to uncover such knowledge (aside from concerns of safety), he just doesn't really care about it himself.

The triplets and I met last year at a party. We all clicked instantly. Matt wasn't a yapper till he came around me then he ‘couldn't shut the fuck up’ according to Nick. Our friendship got to the point where I came over 1-4 times through the week, and on the days I wasn't at their house or they weren't at mine, or when we wouldn't see each other, we would be on Facetime or in our group chat yapping.

“We have those here?” Her brows raised in confusion, for someone who’s been here for over 3 years, she sure didn’t know much about the events going on, unless they were sports-related.

“Yea, you should come. We can paint pumpkins, carve them, bake the pumpkin seeds and they’re gonna give out free pumpkin lattes!” You adored the fact fall was finally here, the best season ever to exist. The leaves changing colors, cool mornings, and rainy nights healed something inside you.

Paige on the other hand lolled at the thought of seasons changing, the only season she’d be looking forward to was her last season here at UConn. That didn’t stop you from constantly talking to her about it though, for the past couple of weeks you’ve yapped the athlete's ear off in class about anything and everything, As Paige herself was a professional yapper, her mind unconsciously filled with adornment from listening to your voice fill her ears.

“Anything pumpkin flavored sounds nasty but, I’ll go, only because you asked me so nicely” She shrugged, a smug smirk plastered across her face that always made your knees weak. Eyes rolling to the back of your head despite the butterflies roaming in the pit of your stomach.

“Don’t get ahead of yourself Bueckers, I just think it' 'll be a fun thing for you to experience” Turning back to face the front of the class, her knees purposefully kicking the back of your seat, the pressure going straight to your lower back causing you to squirm uncomfortably.

As class ended the two of you made your way through the empty lecture halls. It was always quiet during the morning hours, the sound of your ice splashing around in your Stanley echoing with each step you took.

“Damn did you fill the whole cup with ice?” her long arms reaching into the side pocket of your bag, snatching the cup from the side of your bookbag “You carry a 20-pound weight around all day and wonder why you’re stressed all the time, you’re basically weightlifting”.

"30!? I need more time than that to get ready, Ion even know what I'm gonna wear" her voice laced with urgency as her speed quickened, leaving you to scurry behind her confused by her notion of urgency. In your eyes she looked heavenly, her freshly dyed pink-hued hair draped perfectly down to her shoulders, navy blue USA basketball hoodie fitted around her comfortably, black sweats hanging low against her waist.

"What do you mean get ready? you need to dress comfortably, we're carving pumpkins not walking across the red carpet"

Her eyes widened, glint sparked within her expression "All you had to say was that I look good, but I'll take the backhanded compliment" flipping her hair to the side dramatically.

"it's gonna get all tangled up doing that" Reaching up on your tiptoes, you carefully fixed her loose stands standing out of place. "The color looks fits you so well though, it brings out the color in your eyes"

Paige's cheeks flushed at your compliment, "Appreciate it princess, I knew you were gonna say something eventually just because it's your favorite color” the nickname rattled across your mind, failing to realize she had remembered the little fact about you.

Your heart began to flip in your chest, grateful the two of you had finally reached the exit, holding the door open for her to walk through, only to find out she wasn't behind you anymore.

Stopping just before the doorway, her large hands pulling her hoodie over her head, quickly tucking the loose strands of hair into the thick fabric. "Don't ever touch the door again, let me hold it from now on" eyes peering down to meet yours.

Nodding softly at her demand, drowning in the thought of her changing her appearance in the public eye, knowing that someone is always watching you, plotting your next move.

"We in fact are one of these people" you protested grabbing her hand leading her to the farthest row, her long fingers fit perfectly in between yours slightly feeling the acrylics painted maroon with a hint of chrome complimenting the top coat. "The back rows usually have the bigger ones"

Thousands of pumpkins arrayed from different sizes and colors, you always admired the ones that were rare and different from the others. "What about this one?" Paige held up a pumpkin with the perfect shape and shade of orange, gradually palming t with one hand.

"I think that's a good one for you, but you don't have to hold it like a basketball" you laughed watching her throw it up in the air effortlessly. Her eyes sparkled as if she was picturing an actual basketball in her hands.

"it's shaped like one, you don't like any over here?" she pointed at the top stack filled with merely indentical-shaped ones.

Shaking your head "No I want mine to look different from the rest, that's what makes it fun"

Paige cocked her head as her train of thought was altered, she stepped past you looking around to find your definition of "different" Stooping down to pick up a pumpkin, slightly smaller than hers with the same shade of orange and hints of green from ripeness. The stem was significantly shorter. "What about this one?"

You smiled realizing the overall shape was the same as hers. Stepping closer, taking it from her grasp "Paige this looks like a miniature basketball"

"Yea but it's different, it's got whatever.. this green stuff is" she pointed at the blotches scattered everywhere. "Opposites attract anyways"

You laughed at her antics, she was so corny but deep down you loved it. "Oh, so we're the pumpkins?"

"Yes, now let's go find the paint before everyone takes all the good colors," she insisted, holding out her free hand for you to take, happily doing so. "What are you going to paint yours?"

BIG things in canonical material that I feel like are important, especially if they're highlighted. i'm not really going to elaborate much since its kind of spelled out already but i'll say a few things nonetheless (also for consistencies sake i'm going to say lost but do know this ALSO applies to wild) he was the youngest knight appointed in history. like even that alone is FUCKED??? i don't remember if it was something in canon, fanon or something kay n i made up (but it doesnt rlly matter since its canon to the lost hero au ANYWAY!) but he became a knight at TWELVE soon after pulling the sword. then proceeded to become a royal guard at 17. this is a kid surrounded by adults in a generally Unsafe Environment, that alone is enough for some level of fucked. ill explain the "hes been training since he was four" later since i have Thoughts about that, but on a unrelated note do notice that mipha makes the assumption that lost is reckless and not through actually seeing him being clumsy. hyrulean guard when i get you now, to me the vow of silence was something that stemmed from before the calamity and started up in his training. because thats a twelve year old being forced to be a hero when he never got the choice to. OBVIOUSLY hes going to shut down. again, this will be expanded upon later also. lost is canonically self sacrificial. VERY self sacrificial. no further comments, just saying OKAY. NOW ITS LATER BC ITS TIME TO YAP ABT THE "inspired by canon but like. its canon plus." canon is bent in specific ways bc the way link is characterized (in cac specifically) makes him very uh,,,, inhuman i suppose. i love looking at scenarios where decisions have consequences, and it's that specific reason why i enjoy "what if" aus so much.

yes, lost was still trained when he was four. no it was not formally. to me, lost had an interest in swordsmanship because his dads a knight! hes going to be exposed to at least a little bit at an early age. he was insistent on wanting to learn, so with the power of sticks, pot lids, and a lot of positive reinforcement, he learned how to do the movements of swordfighting. he'd never been given a proper sword until the guard brought him to zora's domain. lost's dad never wanted to force the position of hero onto him, so he never gave him a sword. everyone knows that he's the hero except him, and lost's dad would rather keep it that way until he's old enough to climb mount lanayru (it happens much earlier than that) now abt the fucking "According to tales told by the long-lived Zora, Link visited Zora's Domain when he was younger and formed a bond with them, defeating a Lynel and teaching various skills to Zora children. This story sheds light on both his physical abilities and his strength of character." from creating a champion just like. isn't canon in this. the only other recorded time lost fought a lynel in zoras domain was when he was already zelda's guard and he was not younger. so by proxy it must've been when he was four WHICH ISN'T HAPPENING SORRY GUYS!!!! i'm not having a four year old fight a lynel hero or not!!!! it's referenced in lost hero canon (the soldiers accompanied made jokes and tried to egg lost on but it got shut down real quick since a. his dad was there and b. literally anyone who have thinking caps would go "yeah um... no actually!") and now its fanon time :))) when lost was in the army, he was usually trained separately from the other knights, mostly because of skill difference. as a CHILD he was able to clear soldiers, he needed different training period. as for the actual formal training, it was extremely strict. terrible conditions stemmed from an awful reward "system" (that usually led to lost being extremely fatigued and starting an endless loop of punishment. there is a reason why lost can push through awful conditions: hes used to it) all blanketed with the justification of "he's the hero of hyrule." they trained him to be a weapon, not a person. he doesn't have a sense of self nor an identity outside of "hero" "champion" or "weapon." things like "brother" got stripped from him when he joined the academy. they didn't bother with setting up a future for him. he eventually figures his shit out but thats YEARS down the line, and even then he's still suffering from this,,,, self objectification? idk how else to describe it when he wasn't getting grilled for "not swinging his sword hard enough" or having his foot a centimeter off even though he hasnt had the privilege of Basic Necessities To Survive in (insert timeframe) he was usually doing something in the coliseum. as it turns out, having the hero show off in front of an audience by fighting a lynel (or multiple) is a GREAT money maker! shame he wasnt usually told beforehand!

being forced into heroism is a big reason as to why hes the silent knight. he never wanted this. being separated from his family (whom of which i have Many thoughts about. same for his childhood honestly) and surrounded by strangers who have no care for who he is but rather what he stands for was absolutely awful, and only made worse by his age. being silent and just dealing with it is how he coped, and its eventually going to boil over (just give it a few years) his knight training was one of THE worst things to happen to him, right under failing to save his kingdom and inadvertently being the cause of hyrule's demise. it's the reason why he acts the way he does. he wasn't allowed to forget, so instead it influences almost everything he does, says and thinks. SO YEAH IT WASNT A GOOD TIME

Ah! Sure! Alright- *cracks knuckles* gonna be yapping! :3

My very early idea of my AU, Overcopy, was never supposed to grow the way it did now. I was never planning to expand on it ever again after this one post, that I thought about when making myself a sandwich. I was never even expecting it getting kinda popular. But then I started getting asks about Chaos and the others.

So I started drawing these guys ironically. I was like "Oh yeah, I'll just draw these sillies for the hugs, kisses and everything! And then I'll stop!" Those who were here before this whole AU was created knows that I was mainly a writing blog. I wrote for the UTMV imagines, FICS, and other things. But the more that I drew, the more I enjoyed it. Every drawing made me feel happier! I was never so happy before.

Back then, I was really unorganized. I didn't even have Chaos' backstory created. Every post I made back then, was just what I thought would be good, and did it. That's why Chaos' old backstory is a little messy. It's not throughoutly thought about beforehand. The characters were also a really big mess. I was REALLY unprepared.

Chaos is a character that was remade MANY times before, simply because I couldn't figure it out. I honestly didn't even cared much for his design in my first ever post. Heck, he was created only because I wanted to make Nightmare suffer. I was going off of NOTHING at all when I got asks like: How was he created? I came up with everything on the spot. And I think it shows.. TT

I've started properly rewriting his story/writing a script like 5 months ago. I started out by writing like basic points. Some general idea. This was actually the first time that I've thought about the MTT boys being unfiltered. I honestly did that because I felt like they were being weirdly nice. It just doesn't suit them.. (I also love Horror/gore). I planned to reveal this in the comics actually, keeping it a secret. But my friend, @idkwhaticandonow asked about it in one of my asks. So... I caved in and revealed it to y'all.

I'm gonna be completely honest about Blade...... I didn't have much personality thought about in the past. The only thing that I had about him (and made it into his whole personality), was that he liked Anime, and was a loser with no game. I started fleshing him out when I was writing the psychology of the MTT boys. (Their unfiltered versions I mean.)

I started writing Blade first, because it was just much easier to visualize him as a psychopath.

The hardest one to write, was probably Ted. I made him in my AU into such a sweetheart, that I didn't know how to make his unfiltered version. I don't want to spoil much, since I'll reveal unfiltered Ted very soon.

Writing Ace was honestly a little refreshing. He's such a yapper when he's filtered, so it was nice writing him be deadly silent.

Writing their psychology was actually so much fun! But I won't deny that it was difficult at times. I had a lot of breakdowns where I just couldn't think about it anymore, and instead went to play a game. Other times, it was very easy and went smoothly. But still... It was fun!

Nightmare.... I honestly tried to write Nightmare as canon-like as possible. I don't know why, I just really like canon Nightmare. But, I'm not the og creator of Nightmare sans, so I couldn't really achieve that well. But I tried my best! Making his character was actually.... Very easy. I'd say that Nightmare was actually the easiest one to write! Which is insane thinking about it now. The only difficult part about him, are his complex feelings. Those are usually the times where I ask myself, "how would he even react to that?"

Overcopy is still a project in production, but I'm trying my hardest every day to make the finished product have some value, and actually look good. I'm working on the script almost every day, correcting errors or any nonsensical things. I'm almost done correcting chapter 1 and chapter 2, then, I'll go into choosing a format, which I'll present it in.

You can definitely be excited for it! This is probably my biggest project yet, and I'm actually proud of it by far. ^^

I've been thinking about Oh Honey! Joel (as you do) and wondering if you would ever write anything from his POV?

I'm SO curious to know more detail about when he knew the things he knew and what their first date was like from his perspective (the build up before, the moment they touched, what he was thinking the whole night, and then the next day of course). I want to know how much of the beast is HIM, how that goes on in his head....

im gonna try and answer these in the order they were asked without getting sidetracked.

honestly as much as i'd like to do something from ohhoney!joels pov i kind of like the mystery involved with not knowing lmao, in the finale there are definitely things that i have answers for that i plan on leaving vague lol

in my opinion it's sort of like how mates work in twilight (but less gross) or acotar. he knew immediately what was happening even though she only felt the strange attraction he definitely knew that she was his soulmate. we have her perspective on how she feels about him and i think that he probably feels the same but amplified, especially when he's all beasty. he just feels a hollow sensation when they aren't with each other like she does, he revolves himself around her because that's what his instincts tell him to do to feel normal.

as for the beast it's all joel but like super amped up if that makes sense. he has very little control over his actions so he does everything he wants to without any restraint. i can't think of a great example,,, maybe sort of like turning red lol? if you've seen that movie she turns into the red panda when she feels big emotions and acts on them sort of thing?? except this is like worse lol cause he is deadly

NIVI OMFG!!! CHAPTER 11 update?!

Okay I was the anon wayyy back that said you should include a scene where Azzi and Paige get into an argument about Stephie, and Aszi calls Stephie “my daughter”… yup you did your big one there 😭 it was so simple (stupid soda LOL), but had the effect that it needed to! Poor Paige, just a reminder about reality and how truly, Stephie is Azzi’s daughter first and foremost and not theirs 😭😭

Okay chapter 11 review time!!!

- holy shit, you writing P’s first W game and the fact that (ofc) it was against DC, and Azzi wasn’t there?!?! Idk why but I was holding out for her being there, like eventually coming at the end, and the fact that she didn’t is sooooo sad for Paige 😭 like poor Paige (I think my mind said “poor Paige” so many times throughout the chapter LOL), but I know that’s gonna stick with her forever

- DREWWWW. Nah man I’m sorry but Drew is just real! Call him a Pazzi hater rn, but he’s just looking out for his big sis! That scene of P in Drew’s room and Drew remembering that whole event… yeah that hit hard and made me cry fr fr 😭 I wish I could hug Paige lol

- the yapping comments about Paige?? How she was always a yapper, and then one day it just… stopped. Yeah girlie was broken and fr picked up the pieces and Drew was there and helped her do it. I can see why Drew resents Azzi now and I don’t fault him

- AND THEN AZZI ASKING PAIGE IF SHE’S FORGIVEN HER?? AND PAIGE DOESN’T SAY ANYTHING?? I would’ve genuinely been surprised if Paige said that she’s fully forgiven Azzi. I don’t think Paige has and I don’t think Paige has even fully processed what happened to them. I think she had to cope by blocking out what happened to them, rather than fully accepting it. And obvs, you can’t fully heal or forgive when that’s the case

- and then the ending, Azzi and Stephie hearing about Paige and her (what used to be) ultimate plan of getting to the Liberty?? That’s a big yikes, especially since Paige didn’t even tell them firsthand. Like idk how they’re all gonna recover from that.

Overall, I’m ngl, Azzi gave opp energy 😭 and I love Azzi down bad and obvs this chapter was from Paige’s POV, but man I am hurting for Paige LOL. My review and thoughts are already long as shit so imma stop now. But thanks again Nivi for the wonderful chapter! It was well worth the wait! (PS: Pls give Paige a big hug for me lol)

Ah omg friend that was you? Well I'm glad I did that justice. I wasn't initially sure if that was gonna happen in this chapter specifically but it made sense and unfortunately when it rains, it pours.

- I did actually consider maybe having Azzi come in but a) I already established that Azzi hasn't gone to see Paige play till the all-star game and b) I think if Azzi had actually tried something those first couple of months, the breakup never would've lasted this long.

- Drew's reaction is loosely based off of what I think my little brother's reaction would be which is basically that he'd be hella protective and honestly consider how much Drew has seen, it's definitely the right reaction in line with his emotions. I think when you see an older sibling, especially one that's so strong, break like that, it leaves an impression.

- Paige basically hasn't ever given herself time to think about what happened. She had basketball and in the middle she had Olivia and then eventually it was all Azzi and Stephie. She's never given herself the opportunity to really get closure within herself about the breakup.

- Ah maybe they don't recover? Maybe some things just aren't meant to be?

Eyyy not too much on Azzi but no I get where you're coming from. She definitely did a number on Paige but hopefully you'll all feel a little more sympathetic when get more of Azzi's perspective on everything.

So with Zack, she was meant for him day one!!! The thing is that she comes from an age where OC x Canon (let alone canon with love interest) was the cringiest thing ever so they were not 'officially' meant to be together... I still drew them kissing, of course. This kid learned whole new language only to play ff7, ofc she wasn't backing down entirely!!!!

AND YEAH BECAUSE OF THAT WHOLE OC HATE THING she wasn't meant to be Angeal's actual daughter originally, like at all!!

I know better now and I revised it and I think it's the best most tragic thing ever. And you get it right!! She learns about it much later in life. Yapping sesh under cut

Unfortunately when it finally happens, she's at the stage where it doesn't click in her head as 'I owe all my strength and determination to Angeal as I have always wanted' but as 'I wasn't good enough to be considered a daughter'. She's so viscerally Hewley it hurts. Thank God Zack has them figured out by the end of the damn game because she'd just go the same route as daddy. I'm unsure what you mean exactly by 'how we met/fell in love' question BUT THATS JUST ME BEING SILLY AND CONFUSED, LET ME JUST TYPE WHAT COMES TO MIND HOPEFULLY IT WILL BE IT!! So I can't imagine their relationship developing differently than the most pain-inducing slow-burn the world has ever seen. On the 'how' part - Raven sees Zack for the first time, as she's hidden in Angeal's house in Banora that she refuses to leave because of Genesis is running amok. Naturally, she hears about him first much earlier from the letters Angeal wrote home and oh boy... From the get go, in her eyes, Zack is an obstacle keeping Angeal away from her, if not outright stealing Angeal's attention. She lives in such JEALOUSY of the guy for a while. It's just her luck that after leaving Banora and joining Shinra, she saves him from a missile during the attack on Shinra Building. If Zack is going through the floors instead of heading straight for the entrance she helps him clear them. (...And she only steps up to save him because Angeal probably wouldn't be happy if his ass got blown up, she'd much rather hand it to him herself!!!!!!) *Sprinkling in doodles so the yap sesh is less borning!!!!!!!*

Now as for the 'fell'. Their relationship does a 360 after Angeal is gone as Raven starts to see Zack as somewhat of a replacement, begrudgingly accepting that Angeal chose him not her to pass on his sword. She tries to earn Zack's admiration instead. IT'S NOT HEALTHY!! ESPECIALLY THAT ANGEAL'S LIKE 'Hey Zack I fumbled real bad with my daughter, please can you look after her?' Now they both see in each other the last embers of their loved one and the overprotectiveness kicks up to 11. They should be in therapy.

And it only really hits her that she likes Zack for being Zack when he's gone past Nibelheim. Girl!!!!!! Kunsel is absolutely the first to notice the shift in Raven, and he misinterprets it as her being head over heels for the guy. He even writes Zack a little mail saying how he wished she looked at him the way she looks at Zack!! Kunsel changes his take a bit after he gets to know Raven better ofc, after learning who Angeal was to her.

AS FOR MIMI AND THE POLYCULE ME AND MIMI'S OWNER DIDN'T TALK THROUGH HOW IT HAPPENED WE JUST ACCEPTED IT AS A THING SINCE SHE SHIPS HER OC WITH ZACK SHSHSHSHSHSH!! WE'LL CHANGE THAT!!!!!!!
